OP, bringing this up here in Meta won't give you any Merit. It seems like you just stepped-in in enemy field. You will just end up being reported with 99% chance of getting banned for what you've done. By the way nice try, I wish other spammers out there surrender like what you did.

Friendly Advice. Your posts history are not that too bad like other spammers with almost all posts are "Good, Interesting project". You can still improve yourself and you can still change the path where you were heading right now.

While reporting, I found this Brand new account Shamim ML (Number 246 in Good project case) with two post count. But when checking post history it says "Sorry, no matches were found" and can't show the posts. Is it a bug or the posts were already deleted? It's just strange because this is the first time I saw an account like this.

First of all, I retired being a Pokemon Player years ago   Second, by just looking at the thread and matching the Badges to it's description, we will really notice that there are designated badges for every single activity like what you said. But these badges are not that too easy to get like what I stated in the "Additional Information" and these are not for kids who plays pokemon.

That could also be a good function. There will be no problem adding such function once the idea was somehow implemented. It will be a lot of work for sure.

But I'm sure that this idea won't be implemented anyway. I just shared what comes up to my mind that maybe could help members to encourage more.

I was just thinking about this idea the whole time and this idea will surely encourage a lot of members here in Bitcointalk. I want to introduce "Achievements".

As we all knew, almost all sort of games has achievements and that make it's player get more encourage in playing. How about applying achievements here in our forum? Not bad isn't?

Advantages: This idea will somehow encourage members from doing different good things.
Disadvantages: No disadvantages yet.

3. About the "Poster badge", there is something that I need to clear first.
   A. Poster Badge 3 (Reach 150 Activity "Must be a Full Member")- This badge will only be achieved if a member reached 150 Activity and is already a Full Member. If a member reached 150 Activity while its account rank is just Jr. Member or Member then the user will never get this badge.
   B. Poster Badge 2 (Reach 300 Activity "Must be a Senior Member")- This badge will only be achieved if a member reached 300 Activity and is already a Senior Member. If a member reached 300 Activity while its account rank is just Jr. Member, Member, or Full Member then the user will never get this badge.
   C. Poster Badge 1 (Reach 500 Activity "Must be a Hero Member")- This badge will only be achieved if a member reached 500 Activity and is already a Hero Member. If a member reached 500 Activity while its account rank is just Jr. Member, Member, Full Member, or Senior Member then the user will never get this badge.

4. "Unique Merit badges" are the upgraded Recognition Ribbons, it is now Medal. Anyone is free to suggest better medals icons if there are any.

5. About the "Unique Poster Badge", Just like the Poster Badge it should follow the same pattern.
   A. Unique Poster Badge 3 (Reach 800 Activity "Must be a Hero/Legendary)- This badge will only be achieved if a member reached 800 Activity and is already a Hero/Legendary Member. If a member reached 800 Activity while its account rank is just below Hero Member then the user will never get this badge.
   B. Unique Poster Badge 2 (Reach 1000 Activity "Must be a Legendary)- This badge will only be achieved if a member reached 1000 Activity and is already a Legendary Member. If a member reached 1000 Activity while its account rank is just below Legendary Member then the user will never get this badge.
   C. Unique Poster Badge 1 (Reach 1500 Activity "Must be a Legendary)- This badge will only be achieved if a member reached 1500 Activity and is already a Legendary Member. If a member reached 1500 Activity while its account rank is just below Legendary Member then the user will never get this badge.

6. About "Trust Badge", to encourage members to become completely honest and good member of the forum, I suggest this Trust Badge as a reward/achievement for members who will be given Positive feedback from DT Members. Each Trust badge requires certian amount of Positive Feedback received from DT Members. I suggest to use BTCforJoe's shakehand icon for the Trust Badge as it signifies a good transaction/bussiness.

7. "Top Merited Badge", since we have a list of Top Merited Users I suggest that we award those Top 3 Merited users with these badges. This will encourade other members to compete with each other and make good posts to receive Merits in order to be in Top 3 Merited users (I'm planning to add achievement for top 10 Merited users too, I will add it soon). But I think since Admin theymos is the Administrator and satoshi is the founder, we can exclude them from this Top Merited users ranking to give other members the opportunity to become Top 1. I want your suggestions if were going to use "Top-Merited users, all time" or "Top-Merited users, recent time" as the basis of the ranking.

8. The "Trusted Manager" badge will somehow encourage campaign managers to become a loyal manager. There are already some campaign managers that should receive this badge as they are already Trusted. A Moderator or DT Members are the one who will define if a particular campaing manager should be a trusted one. By the way its just optional.

9. "Staff Badge" should be given for Staffs only. If you want to earn this achievement then you shoud become a staff. This is just Optional and still looking for a badge.

10. "Moderator Badge" should only be given to Moderators, just like Staff badge, if you want to earn this achievement then you should become a Moderator first. This is just Optional and still looking for a badge.

11. "Global Moderators Badge" are entitled for Global Moderators only, if you want to earn this achievement then you should become a Global Moderator. The badge is a Globe and signifies a Global Moderator. This is just Optional.

These badges are more similar to a Trophy for achieving an Achievements.
If you guys like this idea of "Achievements" I can add more additional achievements later like badges for users who have Top Merited Topics and replies etc. or you can suggest if there's something in your mind.

Well I like this one more than what OP's suggested badges  

I think we really need to show banned users to other members, temporary or not. But of course, the ban sign should define whether the account is temporary banned or permanently banned. It is much better this way than seeing a lot of users complaining about their banned account and asking if they're Temp-Banned or Per-Banned. I know there's already a sign that signifies if a account were banned but the user is the only one who can be able to see it (but I think admin can also see it) and as we can see, these users still can't found out the status of their account.

Besides that, showing if a account is banned will save a lot of time to reporters. I know that it is still necessary to report a spam posts although the user is already banned but it will really save time if we just ignore banned accounts and focus more on existing spammers

If you will only take time visit ANN threads in ANN section you will found out that even Copper Members are spamming. So there's no difference between a Normal Newbie and A Copper Newbie.

And one more thing, not all Newbies and Jr. Members who we're posting in ANN section are spammers. I've seen some members posting (Somehow good posts than "Good, Interesting project posts") in there and left them unreported.

Sorry OP, it's just funny. One of the Global Moderators already replied here in your thread and he already stated that if the "mistake" you were talking about is plagiarism then there's no other considerations to unban your account. Plagiarism is highly prohibited and you're now facing its consequences. You should forget about your account and Bitcointalk now or else you're violating another rules again.

This has been discussed several times if I'm not mistaken, but I would like to reply.
I like the idea but, it will surely bring some problems. As we can see, most of members who were posting Announcement threads in Announcement section are Newbies from different ICOs. More ICOs are beginning to advertise their projects and in order to advertise here in Bitcointalk, they will (of course) create a new account to post ANN threads. Now let's assume that we restrict Newbies and Jr. Members to post in ANN section. What do you think will happen now?
But I guess Announcement section will really become so quiet if this idea was implemented since almost 90% of members posting there are Newbies and Jr. Members.

However I think this won't be the solution to stop spammers in that section. This idea is not enough to kill the root of the problem.

First of all, I'm happy that somehow one of my fellows citizens received enough Merits to rank up to Member but the thing is, I really don't think that the post deserved such amount of Merits. I checked rosinpl's Merit history and I've noticed that although 42 is his favourite number, he still gave 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 Merits to other posts which only means 42 is not the amount of Merit he always give as his default. He should somehow give atleast 5 Merits or something less than 42 to that post but why 42? It doesn't deserved even 10 Merits IMHO. I don't doubt him anyway, maybe he has some reasons in his mind. I think we should hear his side.

By the way, I really agree the bold part of Coolcryptovator's reply. No matter how respectful a member is, if he/she committed any kind of abuse or violated any rules, he/she should face the consequences. This is only being fair to other members.

You might be right. But this badge will somehow encourage members that is too lazy to use "report to Moderator" button. It may cause suffering but Moderators are the only one who will encounter such problems that's why you have nothing to worry about. It seemed they agreed with it (also some members including me) so there's no much problem.

And how can you assure that many will report unnecessarily, don't you have trust in our fellow members? 
It's voluntary, it's up to them if they want to participate reporting. If they want to achieve the badge then they will surely help but if they don't want to, it will be just fine too. No punishment.
Actually you can see how many reports you have if you've already reported more than 50, but yes you were right, it's not shown in profile. Just click "Report to Moderator" button from any reply and you'll be able to see something like this.
After reaching 300 Good Reports you will be able to see your report history.
Something like BTCforJOE said might included in the implementation of the badge. If the pointer of the mouse is hovered in the badge a text will show up giving you information about how many Good Reports, bad reports and unhandled reports you have.

And yes, there will be no benefit. Like what I said it's just voluntary.

That would be great. I love suggesting badges as I'm doing something new again but I really love those chevrons. If it's not implemented in report badge maybe we should apply it for members who received lot of Merits as a badge of honor. I wish to see those chevrons in my profile if I will be lucky to have one.

About its color, I truly support the idea of it signifies our Flag. The Blue badge which is the first badge that will be achieved signifies "truth, peace and justice" which our forum desires. The Red one which will be the second tier signifies "Valor" which is the attitude of our good reporters and the yellow one which will be the final tier, since the Yellow symbolised Philippines islands and provinces, I prefer that it signifies "Achievement"

Yeah, I agree. It's really difficult to determine if the owner of the post that I'm reporting is already banned or not. Maybe a simple badge or any sign needs to be shown up in their profile so that we reporters can be able to determine already banned accounts. It would save a lot of time, we will just need to past banned accounts and focus more on existing unbanned accounts.

Sorry buddy but Moderators even Admin can't do anything to get back your tokens. It's an external issue which means losing your tokens from your wallet is not in range of our Forum's responsibility. It's your obligation to take care of your wallet and although we want to help you, there's nothing we can do.

That's a lot of USD worth tokens, I never had even 1000 USD in any of my wallet.

If you were looking for money by spamming then this is not the right place for you. Maybe you should just stick to your "facebook posting job". Yes, it's true that you can earn money here but we encourage people to earn money by doing good things like posting good posts instead of spamming and by doing good contributions.
By looking at your posts and judging it, you need more improvements, you won't receive a single Merit from anyone and no one will be interested in your posts (except if it's a fellow spammer) if you keep posting spams.

You will just end up being reported and banned if you continue generating spam posts. I'm afraid that it might also happen to your friend. I'm just giving advice.
