While I hate to see big drops like this, I don't plan on selling my coin until i retire. So, I have years to go before I start thinking about selling. I stopped panic selling awhile ago, which is pretty good advice. Just hold and dont look at the daily drops (or gains). The only time I will consider selling now is if I ran into a financial situation where it made sense..
Even if it drops all the way down to 200, it will eventually recover.. (and a great time to buy)
The price is what you agree to sell it for. As long as you wait and have a target, you will eventually get your target since BTC continues to be bullish over the long term in spite of recent stagnation. |

They will still need a way t I heard some people want to connect bitcoin to ISIS to make the price drop.(maybe that caused the spike today) It is all over reddit at the moment. http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/That's not good news to be connected to such organizations. But practically speaking eventually they will have to convert into FIAT and they will run into issues doing that. Its a bit worrysome though given that people could donate to such nutcases anonymously. |

On Sunday at 5:00pm(that's the time I see but other's time may vary depending on your time zone), I called a boost and in 12 hours we had a 3-5% boost and now the price is $655. Basically, the idea is that we can certainly use indicators to get an idea of where things are going. I will try to post a chart later with some simple indicators on it. If anyone has any favorite indicators, please do post here as well.
I am not saying that we can blindly follow the indicators but it can be used as part of overall analysis to attain caution and get an idea of what's happening to big boy BTC.

I feel that $10,000 a coin is Bitcoin's destiny easily. Given the amount of growth and maturity that comes along with it and the limited supply of Bitcoins in circulation, its only a matter of time when $10,000/BTC will be the new $100/BTC.

Cambodia is cheap as dirt. Actually, Cambodia primarily uses the U.S. Dollar. While I was there, it seemed like they used the Riel as change because it's so devalued. 1 USD = 4000 Riel, I think. At least it was then. (2 years ago) Yeah mate but if you just swing over to Vietnam you will notice its even worse. I can't remember clearly but I paid like 2,00,000 Dong or whatever they call it for a taxi ride. lol! Yup, I remember the crap Cambodian money. Basically using each 1000 note like a quarter as you said mostly change. |

If Starbucks, Amazon and eBay altogether start to accept bitcoin, this means almost nothing. Just a small fraction of BTC owners will use to buy goods, rest holds and speculates.
Also, all bitcoins will be sold on exchanges, neither Amazon or Starbucks will hold a single BTC for more than 30days.
So this would mean nothing. Maybe some good publicity and bigger sell volumes on exchanges.
People will start using BTC for regular purchases. That means A LOT!! |
