Just out of interest I wrote a program that simulated tens of thousands of dice rolls, over thousands of sessions.  Assuming a 100btc bankroll and a target bankroll of 600 (mateo took DB from about +250 to -300, so not unreasonable), over 10,000 sessions with a 1% edge the player didn't reach the target once against the house.  Sometimes it took just 2500 rolls, sometimes 45,000 or more, but the bust was inevitable.  Top bankroll was 378 across all sessions.  

Of course, we don't know how big mateo's bankroll was, but I would suggest it wasn't in the thousands.

I withdrew this morning while site profit was still at +160 (a distant memory).  I think there's something weird going on and have my own beliefs, but rather than outright accuse the site owners of cheating I'm reserving my decision until they've had a chance to respond.  In earlier posts I stated my belief that it was a mistake to bring the site back online so quickly and allow betting.  The site's owners have their own reasons for that.

That is the more plausible scenario, although it relies on backdoors being present on the site or someone knowing some other vulnerability.  Given how quickly DB was audited, fixed and tested, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case.

That would imply the player can predict future random events.  If what you say is true, we're all in trouble.  Cryptography would be broken as we know it.

It could be.  But Nakowa was different.  He didn't arrive immediately after a coding scandal that saw players record losses when they really won.  Nakowa also placed many bets at the full site profit right from the start.  200 btc bets were not unusual, and he would come and go instead of sitting in hours long sessions.

For all we know maybe mateo is a whale with thousands of bitcoins who is just playing for lolz.  But maybe not.

While people are understandably angry at the situation, or possibly amused (depending if you have money missing or not, or if you were cheated), I think we should be careful about threatening violence against any other person.  

The site owner is possibly asleep (although they were online same time yesterday) so may not be aware of the current mateo situation. Or they are.  Who knows?

It's time mateo verified his bets.  Down 125btc in the last ten minutes!  He's getting cheated

If this site is 'fixed' then it's still badly broken when one player can take it from +250 to -150 within 24 hours with thousands of bets.

It's much easier to claim an extremely lucky user came along and cleaned them out.  Adds an air of legitimacy.

One would think the logical thing to do is to stop betting.  As I said earlier, they claim to have fully vetted all code, while doing transfers and payouts, along with diagnosing the original problem, all within 12 hours.  I don't think that's possible.  At least, not possible to do it well.

Maybe they'll deny mateo's payout and declare him null and void.  But DB as a site is finished.  That's one certainty.  Wouldn't surprise me if mateo had a 'shocking' run of bad luck now.

Cold storage amount is 1620BTC and hasn't changed in the 12 hours I've been watching it.  Yet, site investment went down by over 1000 during that time.  Something doesn't add up.

The luckiest player on the internet plays at DB.

He's betting around 3 rolls per second, so every half a minute or so he should be contributing one bitcoin to the site's profit, over the long term.  How many thousands of bets do we have to watch to know something a little fishy is going on?

I hope mateo keeps going.  He got profit down to around 20 btc... from 160.  I hope he makes it negative.  That would be quite a talking point.

So, site profit has gone from 160 when I looked earlier today, to 55 now.  Wow, someone sure is having a lot of luck right now.
