@100trillionUSD
We are at about 6 months before May 2020 #bitcoin halving.

In 2012 btc jumped from $5 to $12 (2.3x) in those 6 months before the halving. In 2016 btc jumped from $350 to $650 (1.7x).

Are your bags full yet, they should be.

the things is that given the fact that PlanB published his work, a lot more people is looking at halvening.
Lot of more professional investors are now in the arena, compared to 4 years ago.
So I would expect more people actually buying before the halvening, hence the post halvening bull run should be front run with a pre halvening bull run.
So, next months are critical!

You know that is what I would be thinking too.
But the price seems to be going down?
WTF are all these buyers??

Even with all that i still miss the part where China is somehow better??

Yes, it is already better! Facts are stubborn things, right?

The "totalitarian communist regime" in China is advocating for open borders and free trade. The "beacon of democracy and leader of the free world" USA (aka United Sanctions of America) is imposing tariffs, sanctioning everybody they can think of, building walls, and bombing independent nations (too weak to retaliate) into the Stone Age just because they don't share their cowboy values. The "totalitarian communist regime" in China pulled 1 billion citizens out of poverty and created massive middle class during the last 20 years. The "land of the free" during this same time successfully killed big chunk of their middle class and created the biggest income gap between the rich and the poor the world has ever seen.

Dude, you just said not to use this thread for a political rant and then go on to do exactly that.
Anymore of it and I will be adding you to my ignore list.

Now I go to a pub to have a GinTonic (hendricks) of course, after celebrating with my wife the 29 anniversary of married, a good white wine, fish and seafood.

Tomorrow hangover.

If you see a big green dildo tonight, it's me who will be pushing hard, If it’s a red candle, I’ve fallen asleep.

Good weekend to everyone. Kiss

Which tonic water do you recommend with Hendricks?
Still got a half full Bottle at home...

I am a little partial to fever tree elderflower tonic myself with Hendricks with a slice of cucumber.

I ran into one of my nocoiner friends that I mentioned BTC to some 5 years ago and he never invested.
He still dislikes BTC primarily for its volatility.
I simply said to him would he prefer a highly volatile product over the short term increasing in value over the long term against a low volatile FIAT which was decreasing in value over the long term?

He didn't have an answer and just humphhed and continued to mutter that he will never invested?

I guess that is the definition of Butt hurt.

This thread is more dead than r0ach’s sex life recently

Which is a good thing. I love how $10K is now a meh thing. That helps consolidation in the long term.

I remember a time of low 3 digits, where both advocates and trolls would laugh (heartily) on this very forum at the notion of Bitcoin hitting $10K, much less hovering there near a stable price. It seemed like a pipe dream to almost everyone.

Now it's here. In just a few years after. Which means that it's no only achievable to go much higher, but everyone has set their expectations way too low.

Hey Torque,
Nice to have you back.
Where have you been?

Bakkt to launch late in the current quarter; institutional anticipation around the launch on the rise

Quote
The Fundstrat report stated that Bakkt is expected to launch late in the current quarter, following the test launch on 22nd July. The release also claimed that there is a great deal of institutional anticipation around the planned launch of the service-custody, compliance payments and physically settled daily and monthly futures contracts in partnership with its parent company, the Intercontinental Exchange. According to Fundstrat,

I will believe it when I see it.
I am sure it can be dragged out a little longer.

Wishful thinking and delusions of grandeur.

We knew it was going to happen eventually but...

It is official now.

Super golden cross is in place.

From here $50k is a sure bet, $100k is likely. $1m is in the realm of possibilities.

Someone needs to tell the guy/s dumping today.

Not sure if it was paranoia, or arrogance, I was probably 6 years old - and daring god to prove he existed in my head.  I decided since he didn't strike me down, he didn't.

When I was in elementary school I went through a phase where I believed that the entire world was spying on me. I'm pretty sure that at some point everybody (well most liberated westerners with time to kill) contemplates whether or not the world revolves around them, and wonder if they may be the only real thing in the universe. Some have even developed philosophies around the concept, others movies.

After having your ass handed to you a few times though, it becomes apparent that we are all just typical spazzes, and that no one is actually that different from anybody else. We all exist, were born into this world crying and against our will, share 99.99% of the same DNA, and not one of us knows what the fuck we are actually doing here.

You must be over 30!
I don't think that this analysis dawns on you until reaching this age.
By the time your my age (ahem over 50) you just don't give a fuck.
Have a good weekend WO brothers.

And a good example for plastic surgery and/or photoshopped portrait pics  Grin
But sex is preserving the beauty, they say.
I can second that, because after four kids with the same woman, sex becomes pretty rare, and that was when i started to look older faster (and the misses too)... Roll Eyes

I don't know. At the age of 56 I am still banging away on a very regular basis and I have always been an ugly f**Ker. 😁
