321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 23, 2024, 09:36:31 PM
I think he conclude it by analyzing the remaining matches.
I can agree that Liverpool has a higher chance to be the winner because they seem having easier matches.
But Arsenal and Man City look to have the same chance. They still have some big matches, including the match between them (Man City vs Arsenal).

Manchester City are not invincible this year. In some games, they didn't seem so dominant and strong.
Liverpool is in some kind of mild crisis, they have already won a lot of games after the turnaround. Sometimes they showed quality, and sometimes they just had a lot of luck. This cannot last forever. (the last match against United showed just that)
Arsenal is not good when it comes to keeping first place, they showed that last year. We will see if that experience will help them this time.
322  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: March 23, 2024, 09:08:21 PM
His post history is showing that he was posting several times in Croatian board before, and it was mostly sharing cryptocurrency news.
Ah, so in the end he might actually speak our language, but that news he shared today really looked like its been translated by some tool. Either way, hope that he gets some sort of punishment for his  incessant use of chatbots.

I even gave him merit for one of his posts.  Embarrassed
It seemed to me that the post might have been generated, but I guess I wanted to believe that a new member had arrived who wanted to be active.
Maybe we should try with a warning, rather than a drastic punishment, we should give space to new users to learn some basic rules of behaviour on this forum.
323  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source observations on: March 23, 2024, 02:57:32 PM
Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, follow the link you quoted, and share maybe 200 or so good posts that haven't been merited yet? I'll make you a deal: if I agree they're good (and I should be able to read them), I'll Merit them. If it's 200 good posts, I'll happily share 800 Merit with them. Good luck.
I'll even up the ante here.  If teamsherry follows up and does point out posts you find meritworthy, I'll check all the ones you've merited and if I concur, I'll give them an additional 1 merit.

The problem is that many have the wrong idea of which posts are of good quality and deserve merit. I follow this topic, and from time to time I push someone to raise their rank with the idea of motivating them.
Maybe it's wrong because they are so convinced that they are writing valuable posts, and then we have complaints like this because similar posts have gone "unnoticed" or "died". Obviously not recognizing the difference between motivational merit and deserved.

I don't know how you are managing the server, bitmover. But, I think you need to review this hosting company, as it could be a company that attracts these types of attacks.

The server is hosted by Hetzner.
I have 50-100 sites (small and large) on the same server, only bitmover's site is under attack. 10+ years on the same contract, several upgrades in the meantime, all this gives me very little room that this bad intention came from there.

I also asked them for a solution to solve this problem and I got a very similar answer as I advised bitmover myself, somewhat more radical settings on cloudflare.
@joker_josue You have well suggested this for a DDoS protection service, I will talk to them about it and whether there are such possibilities.

As far as I can see, most of this bad traffic has been halted so far, CF seems to be doing its job.
325  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Keterion.com - Send Bitcoin and more without fees on internal transactions!🌶️ on: March 23, 2024, 02:16:25 PM
NOTE: We do charge a fee for withdrawals! It's 1% + network fee.

I still haven't been able to find the advantages of this service.
So, there is no fee between your users, but in the end, someone still has to pay you 1% for withdrawing. Why would anyone do that, when there are so many cheaper solutions?
"Send Bitcoin and more without fees on internal transactions!" as an important feature it is not particularly significant, some exchanges like Binance have had it for a long time.
326  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 0.11 BTC (PAYPAL) on: March 23, 2024, 02:04:24 PM
Yeah , i always asking to use escrow and nobody want use.

You are certainly not someone we should trade with, especially not when it comes to reversible payment systems like PP.
This feedback on your profile is enough warning

oldsnail    2024-03-14        Actually I gave him a second job where he scammed me of $150 and ran away without completing the task.
327  Other / Archival / Re: 🍁 [banned mixer] - Create your own BTC business / Become an Investor 💲 on: March 23, 2024, 01:59:33 PM
Why the platform scoring system needs to receive BTC, hold it for some time, deduct 0.02% and a commission fee of 0.0001 BTC and then send back to withdrawal wallet? Can't it just ask for the sending address, check and confirm before actually receiving the coins?

I guess 0.02% goes to the AML check of the coin. For example services like https://amlbot.com/#pricing
a fee of 0.0001 BTC is probably to cover the network fee, there is no reason for Jambler to cover such costs.
328  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor's Twitter (X) Account Hacked on: March 22, 2024, 07:31:44 PM
Of course. It was a mistake by their PR team which could have easily been avoided had they not accepted or clicked on anything the hacker sent them.

Reading Trezor's report reminded me of the stuff I used to see from Ledger back in the day. They praise themselves, informing the readers about how serious they take security. They then inform us in a positive way how everything would have stayed safe if it wasn't for the mistake of that one unlucky team member. With Ledger, it was an ex-employee. With Trezor, it's a PR guy who didn't know better.

The person who was in charge of PR should think about changing jobs. What kind of interview is it when it was necessary to verify the application with a Twitter account?
Twitter has become unstable with some very questionable new rules, but companies that present themselves as serious should think about the way they select employers for important positions.
329  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] bitcoindata.science | sponsored by BC.Game on: March 22, 2024, 06:43:58 PM
Sometimes I think that hosting providers are somehow involved in attacks like this, in this way they are forcing you to upgrade and buy more expensive packages.

I guarantee that it is not up to the hosting provider in this case.  Wink
Other sites (hosted with bitmover's site) do not have this problem, and from 01.01.2024 it is on a slightly more expensive package.

@bitmover, it looks like you messed up FeeBuddy with more aggressive settings on CloudFlare. I didn't see any posts from that side today.
330  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: March 22, 2024, 06:32:09 PM

Jesi li sada svi aridropovi uslovljeni stejkovanjem odredjenog tokena? Danas sam gledao nekoliko i nisam kvalifikovan za vecinu njih.
331  Other / Archival / Re: 🍁 [banned mixer] - Create your own BTC business / Become an Investor 💲 on: March 22, 2024, 11:53:16 AM
Hello everyone, I don't understand how the mixing system works on Jambler. Where do we deposit the BTC? Because I see a section with partners who seem to understand how to mix very clearly, how can I know if they are trustworthy? Thank you.

You didn't say clearly what exactly you want to do.
If you want to mix your coins, then choose one of Jambler's partners. (Don't hesitate to check them before use). You can't mix coins directly on Jambler.
If you want to be an investor in the Jambler service, go to https://[banned mixer]/sign-in.php register (must have a Telegram account) and follow the steps.
332  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] bitcoindata.science | sponsored by BC.Game on: March 22, 2024, 11:06:44 AM
Well, I am under a DDOS attack. Even cloudflare couldn`t stop it. I switched to a far more aggressive configuration now.

It seems to me that the attack has slowed down a bit now.
I hope that the sharper configuration of CF will not cause problems with the operation of the tools, considering that they are all automated.

I know some of the IP which are attacking, but they are many from all over the world...
That's typical for a DDOS. It must be far too cheap by now, to attack basically any site that makes something nice.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a CloudFlare tactic to push him to a paid plan.
333  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: March 22, 2024, 10:30:21 AM
Zadnjih par postova, prilicno deprimirajuce. Bas nesto svi pesimisticno gledate na celu stvar.  Sad

334  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for help (directadmin roundcube doesn't send emails) Will pay small tip on: March 22, 2024, 10:20:12 AM
I installed directadmin on VPS, hosted websites but they don't send emails. I downloaded plugin WP SMTP but can't connect it to SMTP and also can't send emails from DA's roundcube. Can anyone help me? I will pay a small tip (0.06 LTC) since it won't take more than some minutes for those who know it.
PM me or write me on telegram

It takes a little more setting up around the mail server than a simple installation.
@Stalker22 already gave you instructions on what to check. (I guess that info is worth 0.06LTC).

If I were you, I would check the mx records you have at the domain registry, after checking smtp in directadmin, ask your hosting provider to assist you. When you buy VPS or more advanced hosting packages, basic knowledge about these things is expected.
335  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Mixer? on: March 21, 2024, 10:11:20 PM

Why are you posting links? Are you crazy? That is a bannable offence. I suggest removing it immediately.

Newbie with 5 posts, it certainly doesn't matter much to him whether he will be banned. At the same time, it is very possible that he does not even know about the ban on linking mixer services on this forum. He's not crazy, he's just uninformed and he should not be blamed for that.

It's quite another thing if his shill for this specific mixer has something to do with scam accusations that are quietly emerging.
336  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEX.IO does't let me to use my wallet on: March 21, 2024, 08:49:07 PM
At CEX.IO, we take compliance extremely seriously, which unfortunately slows down the verification process. On the plus side, you can rest assured that we do everything by the book. Your safety matters more to us than our profits - that’s why clients' patience is key.
It's been 3 weeks since the last message!
My question about it is not seen for 2 days!
CEX.IO - is it normal?

I was previously convinced that they lack the capacity to manage all user requests. It seems so because they have open positions for a Compliance Officer https://cexio.bamboohr.com/careers/296
This certainly does not justify their bad attitude towards their users and justifies the recommendation to avoid this exchange. Quite disappointing.

I will try again via Twitter to remind them about this case.
337  Economy / Lending / Re: personal loan 500-1000 € on: March 19, 2024, 10:51:44 PM
need 500-1000 € loan   for personal use

have collateral i can ship   (ps5 , xbox series x or iphone 14 pro max)

i'm kind of desperate  you can give me your telegram so i can add you for proof on collateral

Earlier, you also offered the same collateral iPhone 14, but you said that you would not send it. Let me clarify, collateral is not when you give someone a picture of you holding the phone as proof. It is only valid when the lender has complete and unhindered access to the collateral.

You've been desperate for quite a long time, you've been trying to get a loan here for two years, although I think you're just trolling.
338  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: March 19, 2024, 10:34:15 PM

339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM REPORT | Heisenberg63 on: March 19, 2024, 10:22:47 PM
Update:

Total value I paid : 305 USD
*Agreed to take refund of 232 USD and bare loss of ~73 USD
*Received a refund of 210 USD (~22 USD less than what I asked (232 USD) to refund me while I take the loss of another since @Heisenberg63 has been requesting to be considerate as per his situation.

Not happy with the solution and the situations I am put into for something I have no fault on. But I guess I learnt my lesson and glad that I got some part of what I paid.

Couldn't you agree that he would still deliver the Amazon coupons to you, you would get what you wanted in the end, and he would honor the agreement with reduced damages, because, in essence, they are giving up their earnings?
Surely these things cost Heisenberg63 less than the price at which he sells them, although I have no idea how much his profit is in that. Now you are both at a loss and plus you still don't have what you wanted to buy.

You guys really think that negative feedback will help!!
I got burnt here too and lost everything and even lost my customers, my entire business is down so do you think your negative feedback will matter with me?

Would you really bother with a refund if there were no negative tags and reviews here?

Does it mean that our activities here just ends within the forum and doesn't extend to real life?

Many here earn some kind of money, through Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. Of course, that money has an impact on real life.
For example, I spent a total of more than 220 days on this forum, that's 220 days of my life that I spent reading or participating in this forum instead of some real-life things.
