321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: April 20, 2019, 09:12:11 PM
I am working on an article about how smart people ended up buying shitcoins – I need some info on why you bought shitcoins (if any). If you choose "other" then can you care to comment on what that other means? Would appreciate if you helped me get an insight!
Thanks in advance.
That has happened to me twice but I’m never going to make such a mistake again. The first time was due to I got a wrong information, and was convinced to buy a coin that ended up being useless at last. Then as for the second time, it was as a result of pump and dump. Happened so quick, before I could know what was happening they had already dumped the coin and I was left with the shit coin. Had to withdraw my money and sell every coins I had then cause I didn’t want to fall for the same again.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long does it take to become a pro on: April 20, 2019, 08:41:55 PM
There are a lot to learn about Cryptocurrency, but I think from the way you’ve talked about this, you just need to go back to school and study courses like software engineering or computer engineering, whatever engineers that works on cryptocurrency studies. And by the way I have seen once a job position opened for such (a community manager for a crypto platform), so you can as well get paid for the work you do.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people do to make their altcoins popular? on: April 20, 2019, 10:23:18 AM
Well, one thing we should know is that there is now a very big competition in the market, and it can never be as it used to be in time past when you don't need to spend so much in promoting a project since the project available in the market were very little. Now one have to spend a lot of funds on digital marketing on youtube and other crypto platforms that accept crypto ad, without availability of fund, I can assure that the project is going nowhere.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where does all the tokens mistakenly sent to wrong wallets go? on: April 20, 2019, 09:55:01 AM
I don't think there is a particular place those coins go to, being the fact that the blockchain is decentralized and can't be controlled by anybody including those who deployed the contract to the blockchain, this is why they always tell us to be very careful while sending coin and we should make sure we double check the address before sending the coin to avoid sending to a wrong address because there is nothing the owner nor the team can do about it.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency at its availability anytime and anywhere on: April 20, 2019, 09:30:24 AM
I don't think that is what will bring the bull run in the crypto space, we are all aware that the correction the market have been going through since 2018 id now over and what we should expect next is a recovery before we begin to see a bull run in the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency that has a very bright future, I can assure you that in the next few months from now, we would see a moon in the price of the top 50 coins in the crypto market.

Great News Amoners!! 🔥We are thrilled to announce that NatWest has invited us to join their Accelerator program in UK! 🥳 Read more here:

#AMN #Natwest #banking #accelerator #cryptowallet

Is this a big hype and crypto adoption that we can consider? I do really don't know who's Amon is, but I can see in the blog that he is really influential, I will going to look further on this to figure out, what could be its implication to make teh cryptocurrency space a better platform to consider.
What a coincidence, I too don't really know who among his and I don't think I want to know who he is unless maybe one way or the other he has something to add to my life now and also in the future, I think when this kind of news is being passed, a background information of the person have to be given before telling us that you have partnered with him, so that we can know what it really implies and see if it's a news that will help in the community or not.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DashG consensus algorithm? on: April 20, 2019, 08:58:48 AM
I just learnt about this project and I haven't had time to go through it to check with algorithm they are running on, but there are two major ways you can check it, number 1 is to read the whitepaper of the project to see what kind of algorithm the coin is being built on because it is always mentioned in the whitepaper so that users can see it, if you have a development background, then you can just go through the code on the github to see what algorithm/consensus is being built on.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future price prediction for Ripple? on: April 20, 2019, 08:25:35 AM
Ripple is taking advantage of the fact that they have lots of money and using it to their advantage to make name for themselves, though I am not a fan of ripple but I think they are doing a good job in the crypto space, because the truth is that if the investors who are interested in ripple check out other blockchain projects, they might also be interested in them too and end up investing their money in those project too thereby creating awareness of the crypto community so that other investors came come into the space freely, kudos to them for the good job.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 19, 2019, 09:22:33 PM
I used my capital in gambling from my weekly earning from my promoting gambling dice site, I only gamble to their site after the payday and set the capital amount as I start to gamble. Win or Loss I stop on it and go back in the next week after I got paid again. There's nothing wrong in gambling as long you know how to control your self or being self-moderated. Even how huge capital you use to gamble but you don't know how to manage, I think you end up nothing.
I like your way of gambling. You are on a safe position unlike those people who look for more and more money in the gambling industry. This is important to note that you go home after a win or loss which means that you do not spend extravagantly and are able to control your nerves after you loss or win. This is nice. I believe that people who want to make money in gambling should follow this way of gambling.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Barclays: ‘Facebook Coin’ to bring in $19 billion by 2021 on: April 19, 2019, 08:28:59 PM
Overhyped. Facebook doesn't need to use blockchain for this. They can simply make a centralized database for currency transactions on the platform. It ain't going to be a permissionless network and surely can't have the same properties like Bitcoin.

$19 billion, if that's really happening, then is just a waste of money.
This is the question i have been asking for some few months now and no one have been able to give me a direct answer to this question, for the fact that facebook is creating a digital coin doesn't mean that it would be blockchain related, and i haven't seen anywhere were it is being stated that the coin to be created will be on the blockchain, may question is that, is there anyone here that knows if the coin is going to be a centralized coin or decentralized coin.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: April 19, 2019, 07:21:44 PM
I am fighting and will going to survive because this ways regarding crypto provided a very strong foundation for me, and as the market became more unpredictable it made me more eager to pursue my dreams. Never give up, always move and move until you're going to hit the best target that will change your way of life because of crypto. Nothing's impossible as long as you trust yourself, and no reason for us to give up since crypto has no limitations.
I love that too. Getting up and continuing the thing you have been getting failed at but each time you try to do it again, you should do it in a different way and only then you can escape the mistakes you made last time. So yes, since crypto is going to stay and survive for long, it is worth investing in cryptocurrency for long in order to get both profits and benefits.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE REALLY NEED MORE STABLE COINS? on: April 19, 2019, 07:05:05 PM
We have enough stable coins. Suffice it to say, if you take coins from the top ten of the rating, they have huge trading volumes on the exchanges. Most likely, we lack new investments that will raise the market from the bottom.
Better keep these people away from USDT. Investing in anything prone to sudden changes in policies could be the worst investment decision of you life. I like Bitcoin because it is now stable and that means that your money will stay out of the risk and the gradual lazy rise in the cryptocurrency could accelerate its pace anytime so yeah, that is what you need to focus on.
333  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Just Started to Accept Bitcoin in my Espresso Bar on: April 15, 2019, 08:53:13 PM
No need for the so called directories, the ones you’ve got is already enough and as long as you have the Bitcoin sign put up, anyone that comes and sees it already knows that you accept Bitcoin as payment. And when they leave they will also tell others about it and before you even get to know it, the news will spread around. All you need to do is just find the top directory and put your business there and nothing else.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 14, 2019, 08:47:15 PM
Self-control. That is one of characteristics of professional and well known gamblers. That's actually how they gone so high. Of course there are another factors of success too, such as skills and luck. But I count self-control as the main of them. Not each of us can stay cool headed during the game and that's one of reasons why we loose at the most of times.

Yeah. It takes a lot to stand up and say i'm done when you're either at a loss or on a winning streak. It goes with discipline. And most people don't really take it into heart because gambling draws them in and lures them into spending more time. The longer you stay in a gbling table, the bigger your chances of losing money gets.
I personally do not gamble when I do not have the money to do so. In order to gamble with fun and in the same time win some money is what I call the best combination. Having said that, you would be ready to lose, happy to win and no regret if you loose. So now the best strategy is to get your mind focused and play your best tricks. There is really no need to become psychologically affected upon losing.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: April 14, 2019, 07:26:33 PM
Probably the safest would be to play a game that doesn' go against the house. Dice and other house games can have easily manipulated results since it's the house that runs their systems. Betting on sports though or playing poker with other real players removes the house's influence on the outcome.
That is a part of the gambling and is basically the sports gambling in which you do not gamble against the house but even then you are being charged for gambling. The rest is a bad energy because they try to make you lose in gambling to a great extent. Poker is very hard to win at if you are gambling Poker. The games in which your win is uncertain are heavily manipulated. So you could be cheated in many ways.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling sites needs to be a mobile friendly or not? on: April 14, 2019, 07:07:16 PM
Hello guys, I know that some of the gambling sites is not mobile friendly or doesn't have a mobile version of the platform and you won't be able to play their games on your mobile phone which is kind of sad in my opinion but is it really recommendable to make the site mobile friendly or not?. Some gambling site is mobile friendly and you can gamble anytime/anywhere you like with just using your mobile phone. What do you guys think about a gambling site that is non-mobile friendly or mobile friendly?. I'd love to know your opinion about the gambling site that is mobile friendly or non-mobile friendly and if it is helpful to gamblers or not.

it's very important for a gambling site to have a very good,  responsive and mobile-friendly, some people, of course, want to play in their mobile, they want to gamble when they are on a trip or a place where it is not convenient to carry their laptop.
Exactly it is very easy and adored by the gamblers to do so but not every website is mobile friendly when it comes to playing games on their website. I think that this is the need of the day and it will help the companies get more and more users. In addition, the cost of doing so is very less as compared to the profit that could be made so it needs to be done. The world is moving.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Desktop Wallet and Vostok Token Airdrop? on: April 13, 2019, 08:48:14 AM
I don't really understand how the waves platform works and it's very bad for business, because the backbone of a business is creating a user friendly platform that everyone can understand, and this is the mistake most blockchain company makes by focusing on just creating the project and not focusing on creating a user friendly platform, this is also the reason why steemit is losing lots of users because their platform is not user friendly.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is still productive on: April 13, 2019, 08:32:35 AM
one major key for every cryptocurrency investor is patience and hold I repeat you your altcoin
What determines a project is not just whether it's bitcoin or altcoins, besides altcoins are just coins that are not bitcoin and we already have a lot of them that are of good potential and already making name in the market, one of this altcoins are ethereum and eos that are already making name in the crypto space, and I can assure everyone that in few months to come, this altcoins would be worth a lot, even getting to the price of bitcoin.
339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: etherdelta & forkdelta buy and get 0 token ! on: April 12, 2019, 08:19:16 PM
I don't think it is possible to buy a token from a decentralized exchange and see it at 0 when you did all you have to do correctly, unless something is wrong with the smart contract.

Decentralized exchanges are so complex and would take an expert who is very knowledgeable about crypto to understand how to make use of it fully without having to go through any guide whatsoever, this is very bad and need to be worked on so fast in order to bring mass adoption in the crypto space, by creating a user friendly DEX.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WEIRD! Second company with the name Kepler Technologies is raising $250M in ICO. on: April 11, 2019, 09:30:15 PM
i dont agree ... why you feels so that it have so many red flags? just because name are smame, their concept, vision and project presentation all are different.
Kepler is supported by the CEP of the original token. KEP will be reinforced by the value of the company assets, including labor, knowledge and experience, equipment and infrastructure.
Well it is very possible that it is just a coincidence, but one thing e should know in this space is that a lot of people are very observant and will do anything possible to bring the project down just because it bears the name of another project, bearing the name will even cause a competition with the existing platform because they will do anything within their power to make sure they platform is being brought down to the last so that they won't be overthrown by them, this is why they just have to change the name as soon as possible.
