1321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: July 05, 2017, 07:16:46 PM
i still hold my btc Smiley i think it will raise nextmonth. hope that will up to 2k8
Holding bitcoin is a best step to take. We must learn this great habit from Satoshi Nakamotto, he is saving from day of bitcoins. If you are holding bitcoin you will get more extra income as you invested right now or in a past. It will reach next month more than $3000 or above $3000 so yeah you have a taken a right step. Best of luck.
1322  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: July 05, 2017, 03:23:07 PM
From what I see, Bitcoin will be widespread in the future. Since more and more establishments start to accept it as a payment system, it is possible for Bitcoin to become mainstream. It could be likely that there would be an increase of users of Bitcoin in the following years. Its really hard to predict, but this is just an assumption that I have made based on observations.
Bitcoin will be widespread in a couple of years and will ultimately make the most valuable currency on the face of the Earth. More and more businesses and organizations are starting to accept bitcoin as a source of their payments because it is secure and easy to use.

It easy to connect payments in currency so that’s why we are preferring bitcoin. Because it is more worth than Gold in these day it is the common example of bitcoin.
1323  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 04, 2017, 09:11:06 PM
Maybe i should save all of it, cause i have a feeling that my decision is right, i will give me 200x of profit after 2 to 3 years of holding it. But in case of emergency maybe i will convert just a little amount.
The 200x profit expectations are very high I think.
I will save them all and not spend them but I don’t expect such a huge profit from it. I think it will be giving me a 100x profit after two years if the other things remain the same. It could also lose its value if any other alt captures the market and do well than bitcoin.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware Cyberattack ask for Bitcoin on: July 04, 2017, 08:04:07 PM
Indeed, Bitcoin is good tool for such crimes to ask for ransom. But is it true that such attacks are happening for first time? Or term 'ransomware' is originated after Bitcoin?
No ransomeware was there before bitcoin and I am also one of the victim of such malware that have asked me to buy a coupon code from ebay to get my file unlocked. But I have formatted my laptop rather than paying them anything.
Yes, I too do not think that bitcoin might been used such a large scale for bad purposes, as it s a new currency and most of the people still do not know about, and  I even such kind of people will never like to take the risk on such a currency about which they have no idea and secondly if they are using it so bitcoin is just a normal currency like other currency which can be use by good people as well as bad people also.
1325  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 04, 2017, 07:34:26 PM
I used to in coinbase online wallet. most of the people use it I think. I just create a blockchain wallet for btc but not used to in that.

Blockchain for me is more fun to store bitcoins that are used every day. And to store bitcoin in large quantities i use mycelium wallet. Because i am very familiar with mycelium.
yes use coinbase wallet is good and low fee in coinbase wallet
usually I use coinbase. I use it just for btc, not for altcoin
I will keep my bitcoins in blockchain wallet this is safe for a long time holding coins. And I too use coinbase wallet to trade some altcoins, and I will save my altcoins in coinbase. This wallet is very easy to do trading, and most of the people prefer this wallet. When I want to sell my bitcoins that I will use the local exchange.
I have used multiple wallets for bitcoin but I  felt like "Blockchain" is the most secure wallet . I think most of you would be familiar with "Blockchain". It's seamless and very simple as well . It has 100 Million + transactions so far and I found the transactions is be fast enough as well. I would definitely recommend you this as it's reliable .
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: July 03, 2017, 05:33:39 PM
Bitcoin does not provide online income... it's just a means of transfer for online income.

People on Black Hat World and stuff use PayPal a lot, does that mean that PayPal is giving you money?
Bitcoin does indeed provide online income. In fact many companies and online websites have started paying people in bitcoin. Since bitcoin is also referred to as 'online currency'.
It is also a very secure of payment and easily transferable money to people and can also be changed into cash by a simple method.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: July 03, 2017, 04:28:35 PM
I tried many sport to bet with.
But I love to bet on cricket matches because cricket matches alone easier for me to predict accurately.

I am list-A level cricket player and I am having sufficient knowledge on all cricket playing countries like who has advantage for a match. I faced losses one or two times in my more than 100 bets.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: July 03, 2017, 11:13:14 AM
No, I'm not always winning, I'm mostly losing, I said sometimes I win in such cases, and if there were no winning cases it would be much easier to stop. But if it's not an easy challenge then it is even more intriguing. )

I dont win at all because when I win, I will keep playing and in the end Im going to lose everything. It is depressing for me because In the past Im going to keep playing by depositting more but then lose again. Nowadays I dont do that anymore but Im still playing, I had fun when Im playing now even when I only lose
Good for you that you did able to realize on the end and you make now gambling as an entertainment not for making money. Its really hard to resist when we are on the winning phase on which we will eventually play even more and stopping would really be a difficult thing we do only stop when we dont have money anymore to spend.
Even gamblers are gambling for entertainment, they are not finding right time to stop. We must develop the habit of stopping gambling after some time when we are gambling for fun, from this practice we can slowly move for gambling for profit making because when be good at stopping at our own willingness then there will be lots of possibilities to crack profits from gambling.

I agree stopping at right time is alone not on enough to make profits from gambling but this must be one of the prime factor to encourage gamblers to stay safe by protecting their bankroll.
You are right when gambler is focusing on not losing his bankroll then automatically he can make profits from gambling. To prevent losses we must stop gambling at right time. When gambler is good at stopping at right time then probably he can gamble for profit making also.

But we should focus on other aspects of gambling so that we will not lose big. Even pro gambler can suffer losses but we must stop gambling after some limit. This way a gambler can have good experience with gambling either fun and entertainment or with profit making also.

1330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to transfer BTCs from one exchange to another exchange wallet on: July 03, 2017, 07:50:55 AM
So I just chose the withdraw option on Poloniex and gave the Bittrex's provided BTC wallet address. Is the transfer going to work or have I just done something stupid?

P.S. The status on poloniex transaction is "complete" however the status on bittrex still shows pending. Is this normal? Any ideas how long this will take?
It's normal. Perhaps the confirmation in bittrex isn't yet confirmed though it's already confirmed in Poloniex. You just need to wait for the confirmation and the status will be confirmed in bittrex's side.
Yeah I agree this is a normal activity and commonly followed by many of the traders for the sake of securing their wallet. The only thing that you need in this regard is to be patient because the confirmation time sometime is more than the time we expect it to confirm. This is not a big deal if you want to switch from one exchange to another you can easily do it.
1331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: July 02, 2017, 09:30:28 PM
I think bitcoin is so much better than paypal,if you can understand rightly  when bitcoin holding, buying or selling then you can choose  must be bitctcoin not paypal.
As you said it is better in different ways. Like having bitcoin may be fulfill your desire product to buy. In many shops and investing in PTC websites there is the only option of Bitcoin instead PayPal. Where we look at on a global site. PayPal is not allowed in many countries. Where bitcoin is a legit everywhere. So bitcoin is so far better than PayPal.
1332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when you are in profit? USD or Satoshi? on: July 02, 2017, 09:02:02 PM
I always use Bitcoin is value for calculate my profit, because I trading BTC/Altcoins and I will make profit with Bitcoin, not is USD. I want earning more Bitcoin before it very popular, reach to highest price and very difficult when earning it. Every month, I sell some Bitcoin to FIAT and use it as salary for my life Smiley
I guess for altcoin trading the profit decider must be number of satoshi where in bitcoin trading against fiats, fiat value should be taken into consideration for profit/loss calculations.

Honestly we do not need to have any confusion here on basis or against what we are trading that should be taken for considering profit and loss calculations.

In trading pair notation like x/y : x must denote as the trading asset and y is the profit decider. In BTC/USD, dollars must be the profit decider and in LTC/BTC, bitcoins must be the profit decider.
Good explanation. But I never had any confusion for measuring my profit losses but after reading OP's concern I just got fe doubts whether I am doing right or not. I guess profit calculations could be not by both USD and satoshi levels and like you said where we are trading and what we are trading will give us clear idea on how to measure profits.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: July 02, 2017, 02:37:43 PM
only in the beginning days we will follow the schedule of gambling. After some times, we will change our schedule so that we will be gambling more than once per day. Later on we will not bother about schedule and will start scheduling our life's other things based on free time after gambling. This is how many people are gambling out of addictions.

We should gamble only on free time but after addictions people will find free time for fulfilling their life's responsibility after gambling. Very pathetic.
People like to play gambling in their spare time, when they get free, because most of the people gambling for getting refreshment and fun.  Therefore they most play gambling when they become free from their day job. While some people may have fixed time for playing gambling , they have make gambling as their routine activity.
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: July 02, 2017, 08:11:42 AM
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?
Yes ordinary people can use bitcoin as long they have an internet connection and a device to access on bitcoin. Even there job have no connection in technology they can still use it, as long they have a certain knowledge on how to use it. Bitcoin is don't have any requirements so aslong you are interested to use it, you can use bitcoin.
I think the ordinary people can use bitcoin if there is full facilities provided by the governments such as internet exchange centers and officially accepted by the countries who are not willing to accept the bitcoin transactions. There should be store who can accept bitcoin currency against the purchase of commodities and utilities.
1335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Based on People's Faith on: July 02, 2017, 07:14:58 AM
I was researching and reading a certain Whitepaper from a good token project and this statement really struck my thinking:

"With no government or “anchor” backing up cryptocurrencies, the only foundation that cryptocurrencies have is people’s faith in their value. In other words, solely the market mechanism determines the price of cryptocurrencies. At my time of writing, that faith is worth is over $2000 per Bitcoin and this doesn’t spur from the Bitcoin’s intrinsic value, but from what it allow users to do."

In this case, what will happen when that same trust from Bitcoin holders can be diminished or for heaven's sake be gone...would that be the end of Bitcoin?

This also  lead me to the question: is Bitcoin really a store of value or more of a medium where our trust is plastered on?
I believe that's true.

We all have faith in bitcoin that eventho the price may go down, but at a certain time it will rise up again.
And this thing keep repeating, again and again.

At some point, we might lose hope in bitcoin. And thought soon or later bitcoin will come to an end.

From start of the human life financial systems are made of human faiths. In the barter system it was human faith that bringing his self produce commodities to the exchange market will be the need of someone else who’s commodities are my needs. So, without human faiths the currency system can never be even introduced.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 01, 2017, 09:40:32 PM
It's better to invest in something, because when you save it the inflation will eat its value. Prior to the economic crisis you received high interest rates from banks and the inflation was at leat partially compensated. But nowadays you have to pay money to have your money on bank accounts plus the inflation!
I think saving is best option for those people who have already invested a lot of money and still having good amount remaining in their wallet. To me  for such people the best option is to purchase gold. Where there money will remain as more safe and will also no decreasing their value. Because gold always maintain its value, we can observe a very minor change in the price of gold ever after a lot of time.
1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: July 01, 2017, 08:41:55 PM
offcourse, bitcoin is better than gold.,
you can transfer bitcoin online, and look at the gold price history and bitcoin price history and tell me which one's price is increasing rapidly .
and you will know why bitcoin is winner.
Suppose as a Bitcoin price increasing rapidly in a market and the demand is getting more. Bitcoin is winner everywhere. Not just in a debate with a Gold. Bitcoin is unbeatable currency. Which is made a records in market. Now government of every country is going to allow Bitcoin. Like for future Bitcoin is one of most successful currency according to every each currencies.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: July 01, 2017, 07:35:45 PM
Its totally on Your knowledge, research, and luck if you got all this than you are lucky enough to enjoy benefits.
Best of luck for your future investments.
Be active earn big
No doubt luck play important role. But I think investment in bitcoin is not as much risky as other investment can be. And the only reason is that bitcoin is becoming more popular, people are still taking interest in bitcoin. they are investing money there and therefore I am sure about the price of bitcoin that there is no such risk in bitcoin investment.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 01, 2017, 07:05:55 PM
The current monetary system failed there is no distribution according to the current era out there and that is due to the greed of banks and other companies so crypto changes that.
Monetary system never goes fail. But there may be some issue or it goes down. While people are investing in bitcoin and altcoins so now a days crypto currencies are willing by banks. Banks want that government allow the crypto currencies in banks. So there monetary system will be also better and crypto will be also in a benefits.
1340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: July 01, 2017, 08:46:47 AM
Today I do not see any sense at all in the panic that is raised throughout the forum. I remember the last year, when in the summer because of hacking the exchange by a hacker, Bitcoin fell very heavily in price. But after that we see that the price for Bitcoin has grown almost 5 times. I believe only in Bitcoin's strong potential, so selling Bitcoin will be imprudent.

I did not experience any panic in the forum, maybe the panicI first experienced is that when there are members of the forum that can't access their account or this site. I think with these splitting, the price will really flop down. But there are people that says it will not be happening so it is better to wait and hold our coins, we don't know what might happen.

Price can go either higher or lower in coming days so its an individual's choice whether to sell or to hold and if he is making some profits at current price then he can sell some part of his bitcoins and hold the remaining to sell them in future at higher price.
This is brilliant when you know that in near future the price can go anywhere both upwards or downwards it is good to get the benefit from it now if you think you are earning sell a portion and keep the rest for the future sake of plan for a long term with some of your bitcoin which I hope will be of a great help to you for the future.
