321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blockport (BPT) Going to Binance? on: April 27, 2018, 01:35:09 PM
Isn't blockport supposed to be a cryptocurrency exchange? I'm always suspicious about cryptocurrencies that are actually exchanges but need so desperately to get listed on other exchanges. Shouldn't they finish their own exchange first and not worry so much about other exchanges? In fact, they should have the exchange ready before even releasing any coins.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: April 27, 2018, 01:32:20 PM
Looking at the chart you can see the obvious signals "buy" # 1-5 I guess.

https://imgur.com/rGdvd1z

It seems for me that there is consolidation for further explosive growth of the token.

Or are these false signals?

The upper wicks of those candles are not buy signals. It seems more like very quick pump and dumps which is not a good indication and knowing Ian Ballina which is a known scammer that gets paid to promote ICO's and coins, promoted this coin, is also not very good for the coin.
323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: April 27, 2018, 10:37:31 AM
Guys, bittrex is basically a scam, just stop using it. Binance is obviously better and they have plans to make a decentralized exchange and also add fiat pairs on a few alt coins, there is no reason to use any other exchange except to buy an altcoin that is not listed on Binance.
324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for early adopters for crypto trading simulator on: April 27, 2018, 10:32:05 AM
Yep we are using real time data from Bitfinex. Orders are executing comparing to amount of trades on Bitfinex. So it can be filled partially if it is limit order. Or maybe it will not be filled at all. If there are no volumes  on Bitfinex. So it will be really very similar to real trading.
But what's the real advantage of your platform? I mean people can go directly to Bitfinex and learn how to trade with really small amounts of money. Without risking too much, they can learn the mechanics of trading. Do you offer some classes tutoring lectures strategies in addition to what people can experience at an exchange?

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. A lot of stock exchanges have a demo or simulator to trade. No one is going to use small amounts to learn how to trade, fees still exist and even if you are using really small amounts you are going to lose all of it in a quick trade and you have to start again with another small amount.

Count me in btw to test.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum. Will we see stronger Bulls in May? on: April 26, 2018, 09:41:29 PM
I personally think ethereum is better than bitcoin and will have a higher marketcap soon enough. We already have a lot eth pairs, specially all the tokens. The only reason ethereum has been weaker is because of the regulations about ICO's. Once the market settles and regulations smooth out, ethereum will be the leader.
326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for early adopters for crypto trading simulator on: April 26, 2018, 09:39:01 PM
But what market are you going to use, your own market or are you going to use the price from some big exchange like binance or bitfinex? If you are looking to make your own, it's going to take some time and a good amount of people trading there to make it viable.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: April 26, 2018, 09:37:07 PM
If you know some Technical Analysis, a bull market or at least a bull trend happens when the price paints higher highs and higher lows on big timeframes like 4hour chart, daily chart, etc etc. We are in a bull trend right now but I wouldn't consider it yet a bull market.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ETH or in Neo at the current market situation? on: April 26, 2018, 09:34:36 PM
Invest in neo, ethereum is much more mature platform than neo so investing in neo may be more profitable compared to lower risky ethereum investing. Chart of neo looks good now.

However that doesn't mean that ethereum can't make huge gains. The ATH is an 100% increase from the actual price and as you said it's not a very risky investment. I'd rather invest in something with low risk than NEO just because it could be big.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Greatness Justin Sun Behind TRON's Success (TRX) on: April 26, 2018, 09:31:27 PM
I'm sorry but isn't tron borderline a scam coin? Pretty much every section from the whitepaper is taken from some other resources. Justin Sun gave a response to this statement on Twitter. He said that the white paper was translated by volunteers and in the original Chinese version it wasn’t plagiarized and had a lot of references. But it turned out to be false as well, as the Chinese version is plagiarized, too. This is extremely suspicious, specially for such a big company.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: April 26, 2018, 09:25:47 PM
bittrex is a lot better, just read poloniex Tweets & replies you will read a lot of complaints. using poloniex for 3 months I got also some account issues, including the infamous "withdrawal: error". using bittrex for more than a year no single issue besides the occasional lag.

Do the same with bittrex and you can find thousands of tweets complaining about how they are taking months to verify users on bittrex or how they are disabling accounts randomly and not answering ticket supports. You didn't have to verify last time on bittrex?
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: April 26, 2018, 02:10:03 PM
Do you guys think that it is possible to be successful if I want to hold ( a year), but  look at the charts only once a week (even less), then  trade only if I see a huge loss? Let's say I set a loss of 10% now, will I have to trade a lot?

Thanks in advance

You are basically talking about trading, swing trading to be precise where you wait for big bull or bear moves and trade then. If you are going to do that, I suggest to learn about swing trading and set your losses very strategically not on a random %. For instance if you were looking to buy bitcoin right now, it wouldn't be a bad moment, you could buy it at 8700~ and set your stop loss below the last daily low which is around 8600.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I do? on: April 26, 2018, 02:01:40 PM
My token is now suffering a great loss. Is there any way to save it?

Did you invest all your money in 1 token? If so, next time try to diversify a bit and never invest all your money on anything. You can always set stop losses to prevent huge losses. Even if your exchange doesn't have a stop loss limit, set one that you want and sell if the price falls below it. If it's a token that you really believe in and it has potential and you already lost a great amount of money it's not a good idea to sell now, you might as well just hold. Which coin is it?
333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: April 26, 2018, 01:59:52 PM
Bittrex is one of most trusted and famous exchnges site in cryptoworld. It is good to transfer your funds to bittrex and you can start to buy different kinds of altcoin. Many trader are trade that so that's why this exchanges site is safe to trade because we know are crowdsourcing is the best because everyone make a research. Do you think this exchanges site will become popular if it's not good? Ofcoarse no.

Trusted? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202.0 Their CEO or representative here has a lot of negative ratings. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390

They are pretty unreliable, they disabled accounts for no reason and it took them months to fix, still not even fixed. DO NOT USE BITTREX.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rumors: MEW DNS possible hijacked... stay away and safe on: April 26, 2018, 11:04:50 AM
Yes this is true and it is more than dangerous, that is why starting from today, i am only going to use mycrypto for sending eth payments, including tokens

this is not tumors this is true, MEW has made an announcement about this issue in their official account twitter https://twitter.com/myetherwallet/status/988830652526092288
but now i think its back normal guys. but we have to be careful guys!

I am not going to risk my money in this page anymore, we all know how all those people are

everyone has their own choice. if you want to be more secure you can use  hardware wallet. IMHO, easy tips to avoid DNS hijacked by looking at the DNS website, always make sure the DNS have a green color

Just download the wallet and use it on your own computer, it's that simple. Besides DNS hijacking like this could happen to literally any other website, crypto or not. Any kind of security breach can happen to anyone anywhere, you can only use so many measures to prevent it, even top security websites can get hacked. Best thing to do is to split your coins into different options, exchanges, wallet, ledger, paper wallet and so on. It's virtually impossible to lose all your coins this way.
335  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: April 26, 2018, 10:59:36 AM
^^^ How does the signal electrode connect to the optic nerve?

edit:

I should note I've posted the video requested; "convex earth" being one of a couple of examples given. I do not however agree with any of their analysis or conclusions they present in that video; their work intensive, accurate and empirically based experiments do speak for themselves.

Still waiting for any evidence for all your claims, though. Oh wait sorry, there is no way to take a picture of it because that would be too easy to prove, right?

3 holes prove the earth is round. https://youtu.be/hLPPE3_DVCw?t=4m20s

Notbatman can't debunk this video Smiley

There's nothing to debunk, an actor on a TV show is making a claim with no evidence, explanation or anything but a graphic that shows the opposite of what he's claiming.

It's an easy experiment that can be performed by anyone if you know how to calculate angles, what do you mean no evidence. You can't debunk it because you can't, you are not even smart enough to calculate the angles by yourself you moron.

So prove me wrong then, show me the "3 hole" calculations I'm too dumb to perform that makes a close, small Sun projected off of a mirrored dome impossible.

Who's the fucking idiot here, me or the clown on TV making unsubstantiated claims?

I personally don't care about neil degrasse tyson, he is a smart ass sometimes but the flat earth advocates like you make claims all the time with literally 0 evidence behind them, we make our claims with a lot of evidence backing them up even if you think the evidence is wrong.

Look at this fucking thread, hundreds of pages for what? You already made up your mind since the beginning anyways.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rumors: MEW DNS possible hijacked... stay away and safe on: April 24, 2018, 03:11:20 PM
I still keep some tokens there, what should I do?
this is bad news. I heard that the ETH transaction is disturbed is this the impact of this issue?

They are not ''there'' they are in YOUR wallet. You only access your wallet through mew if you want to. You can use it locally in your computer without going to myetherwallet website. Nothing will happen to you if you don't access your wallet through the mew website. In fact you shouldn't really use the website at all, much safer to use it on your own computer.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange bitMEX - trading with a leverage of x100 is very risky? on: April 24, 2018, 03:08:09 PM
Friends, I recently discovered a stock exchange bitMEX where you can trade with a leverage of x100. I subscribed to the recommendation of acquaintances for a group of signals that are traded on this exchange and 90% of the signals are triggered! I have already earned 30% of the capital for 2 days. They give a signal and recommend buying with a leverage x10, because x100 is very risky. Long and short signals are given.
Would you like me to send here the signals they give and you also earned?

Noobs in trading will only learn until they lose everything they have in their accounts.  So I encourage everyone to listen to this guy and use as much leverage as you can.  I'm pretty sure most of you would lose to traders better than you.

99,9% of traders here and on reddit are noobs, clearly shown with the recent panic sell. Most of them got lucky and entered the market when the bull run was happening, literally any coin you invested in was good. Obviously leveraging is not something for beginners.

Trading on other people signals or trades is never a good idea because you don't have their capital, you don't know what their full trades are and you don't learn anything.
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: April 20, 2018, 12:57:24 PM
Im a begginer for the trading but my friends that teach me how to join and how to work in trading sites. They said that you need to remove your emotions because emotion is the best enemy of a trader. And second is study the basic candle sticks it is need for the begginer.
if i'm not wrong ,The same topics seems to have appeared many times and I regret to repeat that " to become a trader is not difficult but  you can make money from that job is not  simple". As your friends say, the feeling when you make a  investment is the most important thing, sometimes it affects your trading results. Sure that when you spend amount of money to invest in any crypto, anxiety is unavoidable, but the important thing for you to succeed is not to be influenced by emotion and your mind is what will lead you on the right path.

The best way to get rid of emotion when you start is using a small amount of money that you truly do not need. If you have 10k invested in crypto, start trading with 1k, set your stop losses to a maximum of 2-3% loss. You will lose money at first, it always happens, that's why you need a very small amount and whatever you do, always set a stop loss no matter what.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: April 20, 2018, 12:12:16 PM
How to be a trader:
1. Buy some btc, via sites like Coinbase[1], Gemini[2], etc depending on your country
2. Send over the BTC to exchanges like Binance[3] and Bitfinex[4]
3. Pick your trading pair(BTC/ETH, BTC/SC, BTC/COSS, etc etc)
4. Trade

Now the actual hard part is how to be a good trader. How do you learn the basics? Read. Hit up Google. There are lots of good free information out there.

[2] https://gemini.com/
[3] https://binance.com/

No. That's not what he needs. OP you need to learn technical analysis. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/t/technicalanalysis.asp

learning technical analysis is good and it will be useful down the line and in case he wanted to trade other things such as stocks too. but it won't work in cryptocurrencies most of all in altcoins because of the manipulations.
so it is best not to put so much effort into it!

Then it is best not to trade at all. I have been using TA for cryptos and it works, not an easy task but it definitely works. Every market is manipulated, saying cryptos are too is not saying much plus people really like to exaggerate on that.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange bitMEX - trading with a leverage of x100 is very risky? on: April 20, 2018, 11:04:09 AM
Well I have been using that exchange for some time now and I can tell you they are really professional. I only had to use their support system twice but let me tell you, they are fast, really fast. Leveraging is risky on any exchange that being said your profit can exceed 100% but your loss is limited to 100%. However in a market like this, leveraging on x100 is probably not a good idea unless you are doing it on extremely safe and calculated trades. Sure bitcoin can quickly go from 8000 to 8500 for example, but in between it can also dip to 7800 first and then bounce. That 200 dollar dip would be more than enough to liquidate your position. 1% is enough to make you lose everything. One thing to note is that shorting is safer when leveraging : https://twitter.com/BambouClub/status/973190223134937088/photo/1
