I think they will both do very well.It great to have some healthy competition and having both coins pushing themselves to raise the bar .Spectre comes out with stealth addresses deeponion reply with a wallet that can be installed on tails .It is just brilliant to watch .
Could you explain what makes DeepOnion more able to be installed on Tails than Spectrecoin? Honestly curious. |

We are waiting for v1.4 wallet for a really long time. When will it come to be real?
When I used v1.3.3, the wallet is blocked by Chinese Great Wall firewall.
@jbg said he can help solve the sync problem in new wallet.
However, I can't sync yet with the new v1.3.5 and v1.3.6.
I asked in the discord but have no response.

Not true. I'm not impressed by Monero... Its wallet is unusable by normal people and prone to error... Their requirement that you run a CLI + GUI is incredibly badly implemented... Every time they do an upgrade you get a shitshow on Reddit with corrupted blockchains and lost coins. There is a cryptonight fork with a better, anon Dev team based in UA (see around #540 on CMC)... They've merged the CLI+GUI and are steadily rolling out enhancements... Instead of spending all their time sucking their own cock on Twitter like Fluffy. At least XSPEC has a 1st class wallet which is something that matters to humans. Actually I am pretty sure that the NEW wallet 1.4 that we are all waiting for, will raise the bar for wallets of anon coins to new heights! Would you tell us the name of the secret new coin you are referring to? Just for research Also note that Spectrecoin still has the advantage of being PoS, which will win the game against PoW in the long term I think. So actually Monero is not really a competitor for us. |

Which is the current version for usage on MacOS? On the website it says coming soon on github 1.3.6 and 1.3.5 is available. It would be nice if users could rely on the website. Which is the current official version?

Novaexchange ist schon vorhanden, und wurde mit aufgenommen als ich mich bei CT angemeldet habe. Allerdings werden bloß die ersten 20 Trades oder so importiert. Ich hatte darüber schon mit Dario gesprochen, und er meinte Mitte Dezember dass das Problem bald behoben werden sollte. Seitdem wurde es immer wieder verschoben.  Ich finds ja schön dass die neue Mitarbeiter einarbeiten, aber das ändert nichts daran dass dieses Problem schon lange bekannt und noch nicht gelöst ist. |

Das heißt entweder ist das Team hier inkompetent, oder hoffnungslos überfordert. So oder so gibt das kein gutes Bild ab. Der Support in diesem Thread hat auch stark nachgelassen. |

Ok i have renamed the Direcctory and backuped the wallet.dat - started again spectre and on the startup i becoming this errorscreen : Timeout waiting for onion hostname
Okay that's a different problem. You are mining for an .onion hostname in order to prevent sybil attacks. On some systems, the timeout is too short. Just restart your wallet, until a name is found. Created an issue here: https://github.com/XSPECOfficial/spectre/issues/15 |

I have make a new "Data" Directory inside the Spectrecoin Directory - but it doesn't help :-/
C'mon, you're a legendary member.  Rename the Spectrecoin data directory, create a new one, and copy over your wallet.dat. Then start the wallet, so it will sync from scratch. If it is stuck, then probably your blockchain data got messed up. |

Yes. I think a windows release is still outstanding, but 1.3.6 is safe to use. |
