Regarding Tsitsipas though, what do you guys think of him talking a bath room break for about 10 minutes? Specially his game against Murray, Andy said he lost respect for him because of that. And there are speculations that he is getting some coaching from his father through phone when he had a long bath room break?

cannot say that I like it, but as long as it is aligned with rules, it is ok
if he can have a phone, then it is allowed to use it? not sure about rules, but yeah, Djokovic is using that tactics very often, taking a break (usually medical) when things go down, and although it is maybe not "ideal fair play", it is aligned with rules
you can love it or hate it, but cannot forbid that behaviour

Phones are not allowed, but if he has a bath room break that took so long, so we can't see what he is doing there? Maybe he was given signals or instructions or not.

But it's a big momentum breaker, specially if his opponent is on the rally, as in his match against Murray. And he did it again vs Adrian Mannarino and the crowd are not pleased by it.
3202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Warrington vs Lara II -Sept 4 on: September 02, 2021, 09:09:12 AM
we can see that even josh lost to mauricio last time they met inside the ring, josh is still favoured by bookies though the gap is not that wide. can josh redeem himself this time or will be the same result? am certain, josh did prepare on this fight because if he wants redemption. but we can never underestimate the prep of lara as well.

Yes, it's because Josh he still has the tools to beat Lara. The problem in the first fight is that he goes there thinking he can overpower Lara in the first couple of rounds. But that dude is durable, he take every shots and then give some as well.

So this time I think Warrington has learn his lessons on the first fight and won't go bang in the first couple of minutes and will use his jab to score points every round.

They both give it all in but Mauricio had made him drop twice in the first fight but somehow the odds' like disregarding Mauricio's victory. Mauricio calls the medical team to give Lara a hand., they are both very exhausted at that time.

Yes, that's one thing that you can call with Mauricio, the sportsmanship. But this time is different as Josh is trash talking now and calling Lara's win "lucky". Of course, Lara will be mad for calling it a lucky win as he said, he work his ass on the gym and train very hard. So this time it's personal.

Very exciting fight to watch especially because they do it like the warriors toe to toe. Because of that, I believe they deserve a second match.

I don't think this will be toe to toe, Josh knows that he lost because he fight Lara's fight. Josh only deserves the fight because he was defeated by a KO and wanted to take revenge.

Damn, I feel very terrible for the guy who lost that big amount of ETH to the scammers.

Yeah, this criminals are always one step of the game and play with our emotions and then boom!!!, they got you and you really don't know what hit you in the face.

So this is a warning again for everyone, to be very extra careful on who we dealing with and don't give them any chance to take your hard earn crypto.
3204  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Man Robbed of 16 Bitcoin Sues Young Thieves’ Parents on: September 01, 2021, 10:47:23 AM
It might have been in the last 3 years, the victims is working hard with blockchain forensics to really track and identify the criminals which is not just young kids.

Interesting to note that the he reach out to the parents, but the parents did nothing, maybe just a slap on the wrist and their kids are free again. So this case might be a precedent, as it involved two countries and we don't know how things are going to work out assuming the relationship of US and UK.
3205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: September 01, 2021, 08:36:20 AM
It is looking likely that this fight will get cancelled. Valdez tested positive for the stimulant phentermine. It was out of competition so the local boxing commission doesn't necessarily have to suspend him but he will probably lose his world title since he is being tested as part of the WBC Clean Boxing Program.
Is that a bad drug? I don't think that it's a PED(performance enhancing drug) so why did they suspend him? Don't boxers use a variety of drugs when they are training, I mean supplements should be allowed right? That's actually sad that this fight is going to get cancelled especially now that the fight is about 9 days away.

Diuretics are considered ban substance because it is a stimulant - so to improved his performance. Because this kind of drugs will speed up your metabolism and increase your aggressiveness and you will not tire out easily.

It's really too bad to hear that his upset win against Berchelt and beat the champion in his own game, volume punching and KO him with a huge left hook, now that win could go to record as NC (no contest) because of the failed drug testing.

Isn't coach Pop getting interested with Ben Simmons trade or he was just complimenting Ben Simmons for it? Pop said he doesn't care if he can't shoot, he's already an elite player,
I still think that Simmons should be a better shooter by now but I actually like this if it's going to happen. Coach Pop loves team plays more than individual skills/performance that's why it could be a perfect fit for both. I just don't know what Sixers want out of Spurs to agree with the trade. Like what @Reid said, it seems like SA have nothing much to offer.

Yeah, maybe coach Pop can developed Ben even more specially his shooting as we all know that Pop has the ability to motivate players and bring the best of them. But SA has nothing to offer though in the table if they decided to trade, maybe a future draft picks but as far as the current lineup, not sure if Sixers are interested on anyone one of them.

So the saga of Ben still continues, no one is taking the bait so far

Djokovic dominated the first set with 6-1 but just lost the second set 6-7 not a big hit on -10.5 but Djokovic to even lose a set against Rune is just simple stunning.Still no emotions from Djokovic he belives that he will win this match for sure,he also just made a break in the third set.

usual for Djokovic to lose set, in early stages, in the end, he made +14
nevertheless, it should be good for next rounds, and he is still first favorite there, it is not just up to his form, it is a mental as well, and what other have to offer
if he continues to play as he can, he will win the tournament

De Minaur is out, which is surprise for me, expected more from him

Alex has been inconsistent in the last couple of tournaments, so I'm not surprised by the results. And he face Fritz, who sometimes pull some upsets early and then exit on the next round, I guess Alex is just unlucky to face him in the first round.

Bautista-Agut vs Ruusuvuori next, this will be interesting, as Ruusuvuori was the champion last tournament Winston-Salem. I'm expecting a five set match here and over bet should be good.

^ I guess every young generation of tennis players have big respect to the big 3 or big 4 that's why most of the time they can't beat them because of that mentality, (I'm not saying it's bad). But Murray's game has deteriorated so much after coming back from the injury that we all know that it's just a matter of time before he retires for good. Of course, it's still not an easy game for Tsitsipas and he shouldn't underestimate Murray in their match.

I dont like hearing it the Big 4 ,because Murray isnt even close with all of the achivements to the Big 3. Yes he won some big titles while they were dominating but he didnt keep winning titles every year like them. Now Murray just plays big tournament with wild cards and always get knockout in the first or second round.

True, but there were times that only this 4 players are winning the grand slam events for years. It's just unfortunate that the youngest one of them all, Andy was injured early on and never recovered from that. And then the on/off, joining a tournament and then when we think that he has found his rhythm, he will suddenly lost in the first round. So it's hard for him to beat one of the top seed in the US Open which is Tsitsipas.

I woun't count murray out vs Tsitsipas but i don' think he can keep up the pace if the game drag up to the fifth set. I mean yes, Murray can still play but the young and hungry Tsitsipas will prevail in the later sets.
this is a tricky one, it's the kind of matches that could go either way, i have seen Murray play lately and he made some really good shots, he can break Tsitsipas's confidence if he starts too strong and aggressive and why not even win the match, and also it could end 3-0 for Tsitsipas, and that's where i always try to avoid or put few bucks on big odds, and i think im goign with the second option, Murray has what it takes to win and that's enough for me to bet on him.

Tricky on the first set, usually Tsitsipas starts very strong in the first set. But I have noticed that in his defeat, majority of those who beat him are come from behind so yeah, maybe Murray have what it takes to beat him. It's just a matter of how Murray will respond and save his energy for a gruelling 4 or even 5 sets if he extends Tsitsipas and see how Tsitsipas will respond in the game itself.
3209  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Bull Attempts to Break $50,000 - A Psychological Hurdle as well as The Next on: August 30, 2021, 04:55:19 AM

Bitcoin ETF (Futures) might be approved, i guess this could be a  push for a higher price later.

Obviously, this will be a big boost on the price, but the question is regulators willing to approved this?

zooming out into the bigger TF like week chart, BTC isn't overbought so it can potentially go more than $50k if there will be another big shot institution that will come. but obviously, when the candles provide a seesaw pattern, it's good to take profit because prices could stay this way for a long time because traders are once again entering an accumulation phase.

I don't think that we are in the overbought zone, we are just above the 200 MA so that's not overbought for me. Maybe what we are seeing in a consolidation again before attempting $50k next week or at the start of September, but no doubt that we are still very much in the bullish phase.
3210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's wrong with uniswap? on: August 30, 2021, 03:45:18 AM
It's not only about Uniswap. In general, ETH network is congested, and the new fee algorithm (EIP-1559) is shit. ETH is practically useless with the average fee of $30 (source)
Just use other chains with similar dex, like BSC-Pancakeswap, Matic-Quickswap, etc.

Right, this is the most logical explanation, as ETH network gets congested, any other in-chain, cross-chain are going to be affected by it.

So there is this trickle effect that no body can control at this point and it will still be the bottle neck if ETH future releases or iterations are not going to look at the bigger issues such as the huge fees. Although there is an argument that the nodes themselves are to blame, still this is a part of it.
3211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - Aug 14 on: August 30, 2021, 02:42:13 AM
is he afraid that he might lose in their second fight?

For me this is the single reason why he doesn't want to give Loma a second fight. He knows deep inside that he beat a injured Loma, as we can see in the fight, Loma is not throwing enough punches because he is nursing a injury. He even tells Loma to go back to 130 lbs.

And we all know that Lopez is acting like a dick after getting all the belts and now feels that he is the pound for pound.

Or eventually, when the price is right, these two may have a rematch. For now, Lopez has its own reason not giving Loma a chance to fight back. The weight of afraid losing is more likely true. You mentioned it wasn't a 100% Loma back then and if Lopez give him a chance, Loma will force it and try snatching the win.

It's between them and how the fans will call for this rematch still open, especially if there is more money that will be involved in this negotiation.

Agree, everyone has a price, specially for a rematch with Loma who bounce back from that lost to Lopez and now back into the contention with other great 130-135 weight champions. Lopez and his father are obviously looking for money fights. If no one offers him like Davis, Garcia and Haney, he might go with Loma again and try to prove that his win is no stroke of luck or not due to Loma having that shoulder injury prior to their first fight.

Hello guys, how are you!!?

So... I would like to know if someone have heard of any more moves/trades from the best NBA players and teams? Any other news? rumors? or anything else???

Lots of movements had happened already, some of the names are Westbrook, Melo, Howard, and probably Rondo going to the Lakers. For other teams, the Bulls have improved their lineup as well. I'm following this website, https://bleacherreport.com/nba-rumors.. actually just one of the websites I followed if I'm looking for news and rumors.

Yeah, that's the latest, Rondo going to Lakers and final deal is set on Monday.

And then we have Lauri Markkanen of Bulls going to the Cavs, Bulls get Derrick Jones Jr, Portland gets Nance Jr.

On the coaching side, Coach Mike Budenholzer signs 3-year extension with Milwaukee Bucks.

Quote
After leading the Milwaukee Bucks to the franchise's first NBA championship in 50 years, coach Mike Budenholzer has signed a multiyear contract extension with the team.

The deal, announced Tuesday night, is for three years, sources told ESPN.

Budenholzer -- who was entering the final year of his contract -- now ties himself to the Bucks through the 2024-25 season. His extension punctuates three seasons that include a trip to the Eastern Conference finals and the championship victory over the Phoenix Suns in July.

Well, we all know how technical crypto trading is and how hard it has been for newbies traders. That made me want to know what are your best trading skills and techniques that can aid a newbie in trading?

I guess the basic stop-loss, and trade without emotions. It's really hard to trade when you are newbie, specially if you think that you can simply earn passive income here. So you might start as day trader, which for me is not that good for beginners as you might loss money. So there's no perfect strategy, just work your way out and find a strategy that will fit your experience. Maybe buy and hold and then as you grow you might want to try to trade occasionally and see how it goes for you. And with enough data and hands-on, for sure you will developed your own strategy, regardless if you wanted to be a day or intra day trader with bots or just manually putting your orders and sell if you made profits already.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 29, 2021, 12:38:19 PM

We cannot use Mayweather strategy to beat the experienced Canelo, so many were added to Canelo's arsenal if Mayweather is still at the height of his career, Canelo can give him a good fight a much better fight than the one they had, Canelo is strong and he has a good movement in the ring compared seven years ago, but let's see what Plant will do and how will he counter Canelo's counter punching.

Well said, since Canelo is one of those fighters who can give Mayweather pain in the ass but right now that won't really matter since he is not gonna fight him and right now Mayweather is only good for an exhibition fights. Canelo will be a difficult fight for Caleb Plant since the guy already managed to gather as much experience from his past fight and you can see that he is using them so well in the ring. Both speed and power of Canelo will be a torn for Plant to get through and I even doubt he can survive up to the late rounds.

I disagree though, during his fight with Mayweather, he is no name in the US soil, he is just another budding superstar from Mexico. And he had to thank Oscar for that, for bringing him into the US boxing fans. But that's business though, he already severed his relationship with Oscar already.

And moving forward 7 years from his last defeat, he has grown so much that he is at the peak right now and no one can touches him in any of his fights.

Now Murray just plays big tournament with wild cards and always get knockout in the first or second round.

I would say it a little differently.
In fact, it is a great achievement and a huge success to win several GS tournaments at a time when the three greatest tennis players in history played together.
Murray and Wawrinka did it and it says a lot about their quality and mental strength.
Had they played at a different time, they would probably have won a lot more GS tournaments.
Murray unfortunately had a lot of injury problems and therefore didn't achieve what he could in tennis given his talent and quality of play.

I agree, and how fast Murray goes up to the rankings, is the same as he went down as well after injuries after injuries. Wawrinka also enjoyed some of the best tennis playing against the big 3. But the big 3 still dominates until age and injuries caught up with them.

I also haven't look at the US Open matches, the first round will be several days from now so enough time to prepare and put our bets.
3216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 29, 2021, 10:26:38 AM
After your posts I went digging a bit more about Rondo.
The buyout agreement between Rondo and Memphis Grizzlies is now official. Nothing unexpected, as rumors of his early departure from Tennessee have been circulating for several days. The player was clearly not in the plans of the team coached by Jenkins.
He's a free agent now and able to make agreements with other teams. IMO, the Los Angeles Lakers are the closest to sign him, ready to add to their roster a former player familiar with the 2020 NBA title, in which Rondo played a key role.

He has no problem with Lebron, in fact, he is a big help for the Lakers as when Lebron is down, Rondo could always lead the PG position to still make the team competitive. I know they have Westbrook now, but in terms of basketball IQ, I still see Rondo is smarter as he played all around especially in defense.

Lebron acknowledges Rondo as one of those who really help them win his first ring with the Lakers. Perhaps it was with heavy heart that they have to let him go and several others after getting the championship and now they are bringing them back like Rondo and Howard plus others.

And it also proves that you don't dismantle your team after winning because there is no momentum in the chemistry. Just look at the Bucks, the core team is still there only a couple of names have move out, like P.J. Tucker.
3217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: August 28, 2021, 09:09:03 PM
Reflecting where price has come from, bitcoin was in a bearish trend for quite a long time and some people in different circles thought this was also the end of bitcoin as this also affected miners with the carbon emissions saga which was almost a double tragedy but price seems to have bounced back and if $30k was a support area price is expected to break the $60k range to make a new range it will be trading in....I guess we can say we in a bullish market as price keeps soaring to the upside.

It's because that supposedly argument about bitcoin's carbon footprint is blown up of proportions by some dude and then followed by the China news about clamping down anything that involves crypto. But lo and behold, it's over now, the price seems to bounce back already and I have no doubt that we will reach another all time high at the end of the year. Bullish phase is already back and we are on the last stretch this quarter. Might go as high as $80k in my opinion.
3218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 28, 2021, 08:29:25 PM
I am as left as it gets and I still find that disgusting. Dude lost Nerlens Noel 58 million dollars, let him be hated for a while, and yes there must be some racist people who hate him for being black, those are sick disgusting people, but Nerlens is black too and defending Noel against Rich Paul is not racist, it is black vs black and we are defending another black person, not a white one.

As far as I know, Rich Paul just advises Noel not to sign any contract because Rich Paul can give him a better deal, but this is just a verbal advise because at that time Rich Paul was not his manager. So Noel dump his former manager and then sign with Paul.

However, he gets injured, and guess what, your value goes down after you get yourself hurt in this league. Unless you are KD who can still sign max contract. But he is not a superstar player, that's why one one offered him close to $58 million after that injury. So NBA players job is not secure, if any teams offered you good money then accept it. We all have heard the case of Dennis Schröder, decline $80 million and look at what he is getting per year.
3219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 28, 2021, 07:55:56 PM
That is true, but you have to understand that Joshua was overlooking Ruiz that time and thinking ahead of a Fury fight, and he avenge his defeat. And same as where you got your quote with, Tyson was upset by Buster Douglas, a 42:1 underdog.

But don't you think that Canelo is underestimating Caleb Plant? I doubt that, he has a good team behind him, guiding him on every direction. Unless he was hit by Plant like a hail mary shot in the chin or in his ear, then we might see an upset.

I wasn't even following boxing in 1990 when Buster Douglas scored a KO victory over Mike Tyson. But it just shows how common upsets are in professional boxing. If the odds given above are true, then this has to be one of the biggest upsets in any sporting event. And I am sure that Caleb Plant has much better odds than +4200. The last time I checked he was at +550. Anyway I will be going for him. Canelo is not looking like he is invincible. Already we had an upset a few days ago (Yordenis Ugás vs Manny Paquiao) and I guess the time is right for another one.

Why not, maybe he can pull one of the biggest upset or not. That's why boxing is very unpredictable because it will only take one punch to change the outcome. And if you really like the underdog, then Caleb Plant is a live one here.

Canelo though looks invincible to me, he is just about to get into the peak of his boxing career, skills wise and he has a good coach as well. In any case, good luck to your bet.
