PICISI Admin Alpha Testing Now

PICISI is now in alpha testing for 24 hrs, if all works out we will convert to beta with real/live transactions.  Set-up crowdfunding campaigns, give donations using  Stripe's credit card.  Go to www.PICISI.com to give like a joyous philanthropist.

How do I start with Stripe?

Start by creating an account, https://dashboard.stripe.com/register  which only requires an email address and a password. The account starts in test mode, so don’t worry!

If you are going to work directly with our programming interface, you or your development team will be able to immediately begin working with our API. https://stripe.com/docs  (Learn how to create your first payment form  https://stripe.com/docs/tutorials/forms) You can use our test card numbers https://stripe.com/docs/testing#cards to make test payments and check other behavior. You can also create and work with test customers and payments in the dashboard https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard .

If you’d like to use Stripe without doing the programming yourself, you can also do that. You have several options  https://support.stripe.com/questions/using-stripe-without-programming%EF%BB%BF .

Stripe accepts bitcoins

The site really needs a FAQ page (if there is one, it wasn't clear enough how to access it -- should be in the footer with the other links) as that's the first page most of us hit first when looking at new sites like this.
3242  Economy / Services / Re: 1 BTC for the first person that cracks this on: September 16, 2015, 10:01:14 AM
I'm sure if anyone solves this, they'll submit it on their own for 100% of the prize, rather than 1% (which is a rather sad offer). Based on other messages here, I'm wondering if this isn't a "multi-signature" address they're testing.

It looks a little bit like that doesn't it?

It does, but wouldn't it be more like a signed multi-signature or something? The code is too long to be private keys themselves, but look like the right length for a signed message (or 3 signed messages that are somehow linked).

I'm not sure if I asked this before, but is there some sort of insurance/warranty for the coins we deposit?

Hey monbux.

Our storage partner BitGo provides a basic level of theft insurance, as detailed here:

https://www.bitgo.com/insurance

We currently do not provide additional insurance against default of our exchange partners but have limited measures in place to mitigate our client exposure to them. Please be aware of this.

Additionally, deposited funds are internally segregated by risk so that we are never taking more risks with our client holdings then we need to.

Hope that answers your question

You are telling that on the theft of bitcoin you have taken insurance, but what about trading loss occurs, when you are going to trade with our Bitcoins deposited and you occur loss then who is going to bear that loss. you have taken only theft insurance.

and you are clearly telling that you havent taken additional insurance against default of our exchange partners, it means that if the default is being done and you lose you deposit bitcoins then we(depositor) are going to suffer the loss.

Then the key of profit is also very less and high risk loss. vey bad idea. better to keep my bitcoins in my cold wallet and i will trade if i gain profit ok even if i do loss , atleast i will be satisfied that i have done wrong trading and lost the bitcoins, instead of crying on invested scam.

They aren't trading using the bitcoins, so I don't get how they can lose coins through trading losses.

The defaulting scenario is a good question, though, and really, there are two failure points for that (Magnr itself and their partner).

Any plan to add leaderboard for raffle? so with this leaderboard we can check who has the most ticket and maybe calculate the chance for each one to win the prize, I think this can be a good feature

I like this idea Shulio, the only dilemma with this is we could show a players' number of tickets, but anyone can change the % of raffle they want to submit at any moment. So it would not be greatly accurate in determining how many tickets will actually be submitted on monthly drawings versus total tickets each player has. I'll forward the idea to our development team for consideration just in case though.

I like the idea as well, and don't see an issue with people altering their %. It would still give a "spot" check on where everyone stands, which still has some value to it.

Yes if we know the raffle then we can know the chance to win, so the maximum raffle allocated will be the highest chance for them to win and we will know it so if they just allocate lower than that then our chance will be higher

If you just want to see your own chance, the site already shows the total # of tickets and how many are allocated. So just take YourTickets/TotalTicketsAllocated and you have your chance, Smiley

Asset ranking(Anonymous)

No rank
Ranking adjusted in real time

how to upgrade my rank ?
what i get if i get high rank

You are ranked according to the BTC value of your account balance.
The more you have in your interest-bearing accounts, including Wallet and Finance, the higher you will be ranked.
The high value users don't get favorable interest rates or other privileges except occasional gifts - for example, recently we planned to send a box of moon cakes, a traditional Chinese snack, to each of those whose balances having exceeded 50 BTC, but then we realized that quite a few are overseas users and shipping and passing customs can be troublesome, so eventually we are considering giving each of them CNY 100 worth of BTC instead.

Giving rewards like this is awesome, but do you have an estimate of about how much ranks are worth per month/year, or is it really just a completely random thing?

i would there will be no problem connecting to betterbets from an xbox. did you purchase your tickets? or win them all from gambling?

If u can then that would be very good then can monitor bot and play gears. I won 3400 tickets by betting and buy some daily they only 20k to buy so it is easy to collect.

I cannot say for sure if it would work on the Xbox One browser, perhaps there is someone on the forums who could verify if it's possible to bot on our site while playing games. The idea is very nice though the largest screen I have personally seen BetterBets on is 27 inch.

Should at least be able to bot on a pc and use the xbox to watch the bet log.
3247  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Betterbets.io - Invest in multiple Casinos and apps at once through Moneypot.com on: September 16, 2015, 01:20:14 AM
Thank you to all our current investors and to those who decide to invest in the future as well. We now have a current max payout of 4.17 BTC per bet!

One of our Bitcoin brothers NLNico, a respected forum member, has put together a very nice Moneypot statistical overview on his site. I feel this is superior to this thread and could be used as a means to track your investment and how all casinos and apps are doing as well. Best wishes to all of you, (both players and investors) as Moneypot and BetterBets.io climb their way into Bitcoin gambling history and continues to provide entertainment for everyone.

Please use this site for detailed stats: http://dicesites.com/moneypot

-Bjorn

Current max payout per bet is now 4.95 BTC as we near the 500 BTC bankroll mark. I just wanted to say thank you to investors for believing in Moneypot and BetterBets.io, and we hope over the course of the coming years your investment pays off handsomely.

Just a reminder to please use this link to keep aware of volumes and investment progression: http://dicesites.com/moneypot

Remember, the best way to enhance your investment is to spread the word of our casino and Moneypot in general. The power of word of mouth advertising is invaluable to businesses especially in the Bitcoin market space. Have a great week, and may all your winnings be large!

Still down 4.93% from my investment 56 or so days ago but slowly heading up!

I have 4678 tickets now but want the Xbox I think for that new gears of war game coming. I wonder if I can play on betterbets.io from Xbox browser?

Good question... not really sure about that, but it's likely modern enough to handle it.

It seems to me that BURST is just about to skyrocket anytime:

https://block.burstcoin.info

It was crashing from 45-40 to the low 27 satoshi levels, and with the new momentum, it could go back there. It is definitely an undervalued coin.

Can't take someone serious like this when they have a vested interest in it...

BTW I've been having a lot of problem with malicious bitcoin peers, so I decided to setup a little firewall of my own using full validating nodes. So if anyone wants a to connect to a safe full-node that's not out there to kill, log or deprive you of blocks or transactions I've setup a public: bitcoin.moneypot.com

What do you mean by malicious peers? Wouldn't all transactions have to be confirmed by the majority anyways?

Is it 2.18% monthly and fixed?

I might put some of me monies here.

*
edit, just got my answers in my e-mail.

I noticed this:

The e-mails says: The maximum amount you can earn interest on is 10 bitcoins but in the Magnr website states: interest can only be earned on a maximum of 20 BTC. Deposits greater than 20 BTC will only earn interest on 20 BTC.

It was just raised to 20 so probably hasn't been updated on the site yet.

pricks...

You have to put the BTC in your personal wallet first...too be sure....CoinBase is working too closely with the centralized market place....they suck!  So, just put the BTC in your personal wallet first.
Thx 4 the heads-up, guys. Made a new wallet that coinbase can dump off to and on from Cheesy

It's funny that Coinbase has such a big problem with it, but a lot of credit card companies -- which have been around a LOT longer -- allow people to deposit money to gambling sites. I can't see this as being anything related to regulation. if it were, no other licensed company could do the same. This seems more like a personal choice Coinbase made, with no real reasoning behind it.

I've never seen prize splits in an online tournament. Is this normal with big ones at Betcoin, and at how many players does it become an option?

Why would anyone trust anything coming from a newbie account, much less trust literally anyone besides themselves with full control of their money.

The same reason people trust exchanges... the reward is worth the risk.

Anyone happen to compare earnings on here with offering swaps on Bitfinex? Wondering how different they would be. I've been finding BFX to be volatile lately.
3259  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - CPM/CPC campaigns now available on: September 15, 2015, 01:02:17 AM

that is the issue with CPM. CPC would kill these traffic exchanges,

exactly what I said but baztardo has no plans in adding it, at one point he mentioned it was in the works but that was almost 2 months ago and nothing since

CPC has been available for well over a month. But this can be gamed, too. Just analyzing traffic is a great way to kill off the traffic exchanges -- it's easy to see where hits are coming from, and there are "workarounds" people use that are pretty obvious as well.

I meant Network CPC Ads, not just per site

Ah, yeah, no news about that yet. I figured it was a no-go.
3260  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitClub Network - Passive Bitcoin Mining Opportunity NOW LIVE! on: September 14, 2015, 11:44:23 PM
Most businesses use fake ones, with random images.

I'd need a source on that, it's actually illegal, even in the Home of the Free. The Federal Trade Commission says 'it is illegal to use testimonials that "...mislead consumers and affect consumers' behavior or decisions about the product or service." '

https://www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/attachments/press-releases/ftc-publishes-final-guides-governing-endorsements-testimonials/091005revisedendorsementguides.pdf

You also miss the point I made: what is the likelihood of randomly choosing a picture of a convicted rapist, the only picture of that person ever on the Net, and using it to promote your business? I said on the other thread that I'd had experience with the type of people that infest the MLM industry, they are contemptuous, in the extreme, of the marks that buy into their bullshit and give them money.
It's entirely within character for one of these fuckheads to have used this image deliberately as a little 'joke'.

Meanwhile, the shills have been stirred into action by my interest (the Jeffrey Babener they refer to is the MLM mafia's lawyer).

One thing I do find interesting is that BCN seem be going after our man EndtheFed321 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=79176 , accusing him of stealing from them, something he naturally denies.

https://bitclubnetwork.com/fraud/1/lerdbaron.html

What makes this move interesting is that, unless the blackmail works, then it would mean that BCN would start having to bring some real life people with names in to the public arena should they carry through with their legal threat.
That would surely be counterproductive for an organisation which seems to be in breach of just about every SEC regulation and only exists because of its annonymity.

Eh, if you look at newer sites and look at their testimonials/images, you'll often find them elsewhere or see that the names they're using don't match up. They will usually move towards more legitimate reviews once they come in, but before that... most people don't want to put their friends/family in the personalized spotlight.

Dating sites are also notorious for using random images in their advertisements.
