Awesome! I'll try to be there, ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Also, is the update going to affect the API, or is it fine to leave the bots running?

yes I am using the blockchain.info on my computer but I have been told to try the wallet at https://greenaddress.it/ which many have said have safer privacy and security mandates. Blockchain.info in theory should be quite secure. They offer pretty good security features, allowing you and only you to be able to access the private key thus no one else can spend it. However, they have incredibly bad reliability due to their recent downtimes and several security vulnerabilities which could have been avoided. Greenaddress.it is quite a good choice but the android app is slightly buggy for me. I would recommend either Multibit or electrum for the best ease of use as you can easily forget your mnemorics on greenaddress.it. Thanks ranochigo.I am quite apprehensive on hearing about their security vulnerabilities. Hopefully such vulnerabilities have since been patched and fixed.Do you recommend Multibit as a viable hot wallet? I used to use multibit a lot but I don't like anymore. It has had some concerning issues in the past that caused people to lose money and the developers didn't seem so interested in getting to the bottom of it, it really damaged my trust in them. It's free wallet software written mostly by volunteers, they don't have the resources to properly deal with serious issues like that. I would highly recommend electrum however, it's an absolutely great piece of software which I've had very few issues with ever. It's a very quick, lightweight, simple and secure bitcoin wallet which can be used for almost any situation. The developers have a clear vision for what they want to make and have simplified things that used to be very difficult for new users to do. so long story short, just go with the reputable desktop wallets like the bitcoinqt lol. also while were on the topic of wallets, I sugges to avoid blockchain as well since they have past history with losing btc. I haven't heard of them losing BTC, just being offline due to things like DDoS. And BitcoinQT is definitely the most reputable wallet.

try to bet 2% of your total balance , roll to 5 times. when your balance is -2% , bet 4%
for example :
your balance 1 btc
bet 1 = 0.02 lost bet 2 = 0.02 win bet 3 = 0.02 lost bet 4 = 0.02 lost bet 5 = 0.02 win
you have 0.98 now nad try to bet 0.04, if won it must be 1.02 btc now your balance. if still lost back to roll to 5 times and try to make it on 2% profit each rolls. that's my current strategy.
that doesn't seem like a good strategy just looks like it would lose you money very fast! so you roll 5 bets of 0.02? to get a loss on purpose? what happens when you bet 0.04 and lose? do you double up from your 0.02 + 0.04 bet making your bet size 0.08? or do you bet 0.04 again lol! Yeah, his strategy didn't make sense to me, either. If you fail 5x, fail 1x, then any bets further you're already down 0.12. I'm not seeing how that ever becomes profitable.

The chat is now hugely improved. Multi-lingual people can subscribe to multiple channels at once, and see the unread messages of each. And now all users are assigned a random color!
This is awesome! Can you also highlight messages that come to your name. For example @rhavar would always be highlighted on your screen so you can see who's talking to you specifically? im pretty sure it already does that doesn't it? i might be mistaken though, i always seen the @user highlight before... does it not highlight anymore with the new chat system? Ah, I've never had someone do @myname before, so I'm not 100%. Just figured it wasn't part of it yet, :p. Usually it's one of the last things anyone implements.

It's also worth noting that you can recover wallets of you remember the passphrase, which is awesome.

is mathematically impossible to have a strategy that makes it possible for you to beat the house. Dice is a game of odds, and odds sometimes have a singular way of amazing us.
True but that's why you need to pick a stragegy where the next few rolls you have a higher probability of winning the bet. For example, say you are playing 50/50. You lose 10 times in a row. Most likely you will win at least once in the next 5-10 bets. The bets are independent. Losing 10 times in a row will NOT make you more likely to win in the next 10 rolls. The chance for you to lose 10 more times is exactly the same as before and is still 50%^12. Welcome to gambler's fallacy. If you tell people you flipped a coin 5000x and every time it was heads, and asked the chance of it being tails next time, most people will say 100% because statistics. In actuality, the previous 5000 make no difference at all (assuming the coin is symmetrically weighted).

do you believe with bitcoin in the future can replace fiat as a number one currency?
it is hard to tell. bitcoin is still in its early stages and is considered practically a toddler. so bitcoin needs more time to grow and fixed different problems that it is facing then it might be side by side of fiat but never replace it . Yep bitcoin was am embryo the last years, but it already been born and now its a toddler. Funny that the news sites already consider it dead when it was still on embryo phase. Now its a weak toddler, but very well nourished by the community, hopefully grows to be a strong muscular entity ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The news sees it dead/dying because they think the government is going to kill it off (which they could do if they wanted). At this point it's hard to tell what's going to happen for sure, but the government seems to be moving more and more towards accepting it, which is great. Yes, but its like a hydra, if you cut 1 head off, 2 respawn in its place. But bitcoin wiki also says that for bitcoin to exist there needs to be atleast 1 free country left on the planet. And since all countries start to fall into tyrrany, I have no clue, but if bitcoin beats the system faster, than the system beats bitcoin, then we can have a bright future. If people were being arrested for using BTC and all banks became hostile, there would only be a small group that uses it. When you can't transfer money in/out of a system and can't even talk about it without getting in trouble, the majority won't take the risks. This whole "hydra" thing is asinine -- Bitcoin is absolutely not bulletproof. this is the most extreme of situations that will never happen. so far a couple of countries banned trading bitcoin and there is still no law against having it. and the news that want to show bitcoin as dead are just a portion of the news, the rest is not that bad. You clearly don't pay attention to what you're responding to and the context in which it's posted. That's like saying "you can't kill someone with just one hit. On, you mean with an axe? Well, that's a bit extreme..."

well sirs for having this game keys you are telling people that need to game but the fun its not the gaming itsa the full time work soo i fund a bit hilarius that people lose nervs by playing any game lol

I'm 99% sure that was just a spam post to bring up post count. I can't think of any other reason to post that. Essentially what it says is "I'm happy you're selling keys for games but games are just a waste of time."

It will be fun to see, when this thing is up and running, what those wonderful guys over at 4chan will do to this sitting duck.
If it's moderated, they'll just bring more recognition to it and get it in the news, increasing its user base even more, ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .

When is the update happening I am curious about the new raffle features. Almost have 3000 tickets now so you can send the Playstation 4 now ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Don't send it to dankbud ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I hope the raffle winners will be the players with less tickets like me LOL On a site called Vulcun (has raffles and is an e-sports betting site) it's always people with 1% of the tickets that win, lol. I bought in 73% of one and lost to a guy that did 1%, and then 60% of another and lost to someone with 1.1%. Going to be interesting to see who wins these two, :p.

I think as long as SWC is not considering browser based app. no serious BTC poker player will give their current app. a try.
This. Also think the bitcoin poker scene is smaller than before. I don't think a browser-based app is a huge thing to make or break the site. I personally prefer the real software myself. Though I do agree that it helps bring people that otherwise wouldn't play. And the poker scene is definitely a lot smaller, mostly due to the massive amount of scams/issues with Bitcoin lately. Keep in mind a lot of the poker players were previously fiat-based, so it's hard to keep converting people to Bitcoin with the current ecosystem.

August Metrics and Financials below. Please note August is the 2nd month of the quarter, we will have a full (pdf) report available about a week or two after the quarter finishes. Monthly Metrics: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmSWZWkGJ1V3dFpxZHVTN0x6ZldUeHRteWdBd1pMNXc#gid=16P&L - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mFzQOuJ-8hBI8ftH75EEhRkcpLh8NbJMJPOoKhK17YoSportsbook: -8.233 btc HTML5 Casino: +24.28 btc Bit777/ PeerBet: +0.394 btc Overall Month: +16.441 btc Noteworthy calloutsPeerBet Sale - We have very solid interest from a handful of potential buyers. The past week we had several technical walkthroughs and are in the midst of ironing out remaining questions as we move into negotiation phases. While we do have a sense of urgency to execute the sale of Peerbet, we remain dedicated to the current userbase at PeerBet and want to ensure a very smooth handoff to a qualified and trustworthy buyer, therefore we have no specific timeframe of when this sale will be completed. Sportsbook - We were not able to solidify any deal with a third party as the one-time and on-going costs were just too expensive. We do have some custom solutions we can build internally to ensure we are operating at 0-risk; however we are awaiting to see how the month of September (with US Football) goes before we decide to pursue that path or shut the sportsbook down completely. BitcoinRush - Interest is picking up in our flagship Peer to Peer game as we served nearly 4000 games in the month of August. We are currently finalizing a redesign which will make it far easier to create a game, and move up the "ladder" to earn more bitcoin, thus creating better action and more commission for the house. This will be launched this month, and once launched - we will spend some money in advertising this very unique game to the marketplace. I like the format of this monthly report. Saw it in my email as well. Can you do this every month? It's a great tl;dr Thanks and Sure thing... Quarterly we put out a much more comprehensive PDF, so stay tuned for that next month. Yeah, I like the detail of the PDF as well, but for a quick glance, most of us just want to see if the house is up or down and by how much, =)

What about Bankroll (16159458497017130222) holders?
The NXT tothemoon site has won a big amount but is still not recovered enough to reach the watermark (amount of last dividend). So it the site wins >90k this month, there will be a dividend again too. Regards What's the actual watermark for that (so that we can follow it as the month goes along and see when/if it boosts above)? 422000 NXT+ the free NXT disctributed amount. So about 515000 NXT right now. Regards Awesome, thanks! Any chance of having a /stats page update, to show like... "Profit this month (after faucet distribution)?" This would be a lot easier to track. I do things a bit in a spreadsheet just to keep up, but it would really cut down on a lot of work and help show investors where we stand on a monthly basis instead of having to run manual calculations each time.

have you tried getting this submitted to faucet lists and rotators? I think that may help boost traffic.
Just an idea.
I like the concept since it's pretty unique.
I have requested many faucets lists and rotators to add my site. Most of them added my site to their list or rotator. However, there is a few which said my site is not a normal faucet and they need to consider be adding. Anyway, welcome you to BitRevenues. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . I've seen some posts from him requesting that, so yes, :p. I'll get it back up on mine shortly as well -- I had removed it when he was forwarding ad-block users to other sites (as it broke the frame).
Hmm. I will be forwarding user to another part of my site to tell them to switch off AdBlock if that is a problem. Thank you for your continue support for BitRevenues. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Ahh, the issue with the forwarding is that doing it in any way will break my frames (essentially taking them away from my rotator). I think it's the method being used... not 100%. But when you get things set up I'll add it and see what happens. Oh. I get it. I guess I will need to tell people to disable adblock on the page without redirecting them. You could do an image that shows up (z level 1000) or just a JS notification.
