Of course that could improve things a bit ... but not to the levels of january / february.. Just look at the topics and replies in reddit .. and the online numbers of shibes.. The hype is dying down and if there isn't a transition to make it useful day by day and real usage like btc.... I still hold some doges and i will do it right to the end as they account to less than 1% of my coins but...I 'm really bearish for the close future. |

I feel very frustrated.
in last two days, i dumped 130k GRS at 700~800 satoshi,it was hard to dig,
and now ,it is even harder,hashrate grows,block reward decrease,
where is my GRS?
Thank you for dumping (and to all dumpers) I bought a lot, and sold at 3 times the price i bought. But i keep holding all GRS i mined myself. We are far from the optimal prices (6000 satoshi i think) where the coin can stabilize. You dumped, and complain about the difficulty. You made a mistake. Now, Groestl begin (and it's just the begining) to attract attention. Price and difficulty will continue to grow. If you want to stay in the train, you have to continue mining and buy when it's low. The ultimate PoW algo (which Grøstl is) should keep a level playing field between device platforms. Miners could simultaneously mine the coin either with an android phone (arm processor), or a GPU (nvidia or amd), or an Intel x86 CPU or an ASIC and evreybody gets a fair distribution of coins relative to energy spent.
Groestlcoin is closer to this with the Grøstl algo than any other crytpo today.
It's a big deal.
Who cares about the mining algorithm? It's the use of the coin that drives the price up. If the coin doesn't bring anything new for ease of use or anything else ... nothing will come out just out of mining. |

According to your standard bitcoin was a failure as well in the day. I think we need to look at this down the road...in a year or 2 and then decide. Bitcoin never claimed and it wasn't intended for it to replace any national currency in the first place This whole charade started by auroracoin will end up badly for people who put money into this Guess you're one of the bagholders of these coins... do you have any aph? |

This seems more legit to me than Auroracoin or Aphroditecoin. Even before the Kiev riots, Ukraine had one of the lowest salaries in the world (perhaps the only exception was Moldovia). Now they must have hit the rock bottom. How any one can survive on $278 a month, esp. if he is having little children to look after? You wondering about that? A cashier ar Carrefour/Lidl/Aucha/Metro is earning around 900 ron the equivalent of 200 euros in Romania. And that is the average wage for lots of small cities here |

It is possible for this year and/or next year, but much less likely, especially for this year.. But never say never.. lot's of action going on in BTC behind the scenes and some wall street types seems to be considering aspects of BTC... 2016 is delusional Probably this year, perhaps 2015 though if things start to slow down Probably this year? That means the price has to reverse out of this 1W downtrend, rally back to ATH, and then rally 600% on top of ATH, all within 9 months. It really doesn't look like that's going to happen at the rate things are doing and even when things are at their best it doesn't move that fast.
