343  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit refuse to send me back my deposits on: March 05, 2024, 05:02:05 PM
Never got my funds again... now that their representative is out of this forum... no hopes at all
How long have your balance been stuck there, and how long have you been messaging them?
I know they started to resolve the issues of their users before but it looks like they are back to what they are in the first — back to being scam.
344  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 0xbc1.io - Innovative crypto exchange service on: March 05, 2024, 04:38:49 PM
Looks like the exchange doesn't work yet, there's no exchange button. Where is your terms or ToS page. Do you require KYC? What are the supported crypto as well as fiat currencies? How safe your exchange compare to existing one? If you are still in development, then put a message at least that you are not yet available or whatever.
345  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: March 05, 2024, 01:42:28 PM
No, they always mention in on their ToS that they might ask KYC anytime, now if the site doesn't mention any KYC then asked it's users, they deserve negative reputation by any means.
As far as I can remember Bitsler has not mentioned KYC and they also usually do not ask for KYC. But once Upon a time I earned multiple times on sportsbook and they asked me to provide KYC. In this case, will it be a wise decision to tag negatively?
Are you sure it's not mentioned on their ToS, or you didn't/forgot to read the updated ToS when they required KYC after some time? Because casinos should be transparent with their ToS since it's their defense legally especially when they ban their users. If it's not on their ToS then asked KYC, then again, they deserve negative reputation on any platform as well as negative tag in this forum. Their license is not excuse to ask KYC when it's not on their ToS. Some casinos here doesn't ask KYC even they are licensed.
346  Other / Meta / Re: There should be a keyword report and keyword ban option to reduce spam on: March 04, 2024, 03:30:25 PM
It wouldn't affect innocent users if restrictions were imposed on users below Jr. member rank for posting new topics with the filtered keyword. It shouldn't affect responses or replies from users in any section or even in that specific section.
Rank restrictions won't stop them as there are hacked and sold accounts too. Well, I can only see and a solution (maybe) in this, just like what i always do when reporting is to report the thread then mention that the user is spamming the other boards too, so suggesting to see it's profile for mass report will do.
347  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Coins.ph's USDC HODL and Earn Program on: March 04, 2024, 05:49:31 AM
Meron akong nakita from Coins.ph. Nag labas sila ng promo na you HODL at least 20 USDC sa coins.ph sa wallet mo and then mag eearn ka na after a week. Weeekly rewards basis. 5% per annum yung possible na makuha.

https://coins.ph/blog/usdc-hold-and-earn-program/

Dumadami na ata yung ganitong klaseng HODL and earn, parang staking, hindi lang sa coins.ph pati din sa ibang mga finance apps.

Ano sa tingin nyo about dito sa promotion na 'to? Sasali ba kayo?
Kakabasa ko lang, pero this just looks like yung mga usual promo ng mga wallets and banks today, like sa Seabank from 6%-4.5 nalang now, the same sa Maya bank, CIMB, GoTyme, anu pa ba...

So if gusto mo man mag invest ng ganyan, need mo talaga for long term investments reasons hindi yung tipong kukunin mo lang for after few weeks.
As of now, gamit ko seabank and yung partner ko naman is GoTyme.
348  Other / Meta / Re: New happening event notifier on: March 03, 2024, 11:40:17 PM
I've never seen anything more than the latest bitcoin core torrent download  maybe it's just dedicated  for bitcoin news (not the in-forum news)
Check the latest posted event there its the pie baking contest including the torrent download file of core, last time i see there was the banning of mixers announcements. If that's what you want to portrait, then i guess it's already answered what it need/wants.
349  Other / Meta / Re: I think we should have a dedicated Notifications Tab on: March 03, 2024, 11:34:29 PM
This is unlikely to happen, unless @PowerGlove do his revisions, but if we will expect for admin, no he won't. This should be implemented on the new forum software but it looks like it just tale now.
For now the telegram bot is enough it's good alternative.
350  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitclub Network on: March 03, 2024, 02:40:03 PM
They are now asking for $100USD (can only be paid in bitcoin) to reactivate your account to get access, I don't know why they won't just let you pay with what is already in your account.
Red flag, any platform that asks payment first to get their balance or anything that has monetary value is obviously a scam. Higher chance that the new owner of that domain is different from the original.
Also accessing the site give me this error below which says it all, while proceeding just show a blank page.

351  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forum running slow? on: March 03, 2024, 07:27:32 AM
Yep, i faced cf error page too while trying to reply here and refresh the page for several times. This usually happens on weekends like other downtime of the forum.

EDIT: Now it looks okay, i can access other posts/boards faster than earlier.
352  Other / Meta / Re: There should be a keyword report and keyword ban option to reduce spam on: March 02, 2024, 05:10:08 PM
I remember some malicious software is spammed by multiple users which mods probably have this kind of bot or keyword detection, if i remember correctly, mprep have it.

That's why I thought a restriction or something could help reduce that spam.
The only downside for this is some of the innocent users like replying/quoting or making report post will get affected. But if this can be enabled and disabled like if there are many reports that has the same contents, then it could be enabled to auto-delete once post with such keywords detected.
353  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gate.io blocked my funds and the problem has not been resolved for more a month on: March 02, 2024, 04:43:28 PM
I saw one of the comments on your Reddit post, the guy waiting for 5 months is completely ridiculous. let's hope yours doesn't take that long.
Exactly, this is really an irresponsible act and scamming behaviour of the exchange. They should already escalated such issue in 3-5 days or at least 1 week. But they just ignore it or maybe they just wait until the user get enough with it and forget their money their lmao. I don't know if they will budge if OP mention about a lawsuit against them for hostaging their money on the platform.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 02, 2024, 04:12:05 PM
I think I've seen it with Bustabit and Bustadice too back then, are they still doing that or is there like a lot of new casinos that are offering this kind of thing, I can't recall how it works when you invest in them so I'm going to ask (although I feel like stupid forgetting how it works), how does it work? And are there any other trusted casinos that are offering this investment? Is it a bad investment?
Bustadice investments works like a ponzi scheme, everytime there's a new investor joining the pool, the existing investors got profit from the X percentage of your investment, while the share of profit in % when some users losses are the same, so the first investors always get the advantage.
I have tried to invest in cryptogames also before, so far all of those investments are ++ in profit, but it takes at least several months before it happen or simply a long term investment.

In today's known casinos, i don't think there are still offering investments as i didn't see any of them now.
355  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeds Bitcoin on: March 02, 2024, 02:59:19 PM
I owned different wallets already, several hardware wallets, hot wallets, cold wallets but never had experience of losing those important thing (seeds, passwords, email, etc) for recovery. Plus i placed those things in only one area only so i didn't find it somewhere else if ever i needed it.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing at gambling on: March 02, 2024, 02:34:31 PM
Suppose your spouse/husband gambles a lot, his or her loss/profit ratio is acceptable (so it's fine), but then one day he or she has bet it all and lost it all.
Stop him or her bad hobbies before it become critical like that. If it's not controllable anymore, it's literally wasting money instead of entertaining as the main reason of gambling.

Talking about marriage and divorce, well, if it happens and divorce is legal in your country's law, do it, i'm sure someone told her/him to save or not get addicted in to gambling before something like that happens.
357  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed and hardware wallets on: March 01, 2024, 11:56:30 PM
but you can with a bitbox. (handy if you've lost the words, for example, but have access to your wallet and want to write them down somewhere). It seems to me that being able to review restoration words is very important for a beginner,
It's crucial if other people get the hold of that HW wallet with your pin. Hardware wallets should only work on creating wallets, sending/receiving, restoring the wallet seed and a malware-proof that it will not get affected when making transactions on malware-infected device (at least that was advertised). Nothing more, recovery depends on the user's practice as it always recommends to have backup.
358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: myNode support on Telegram. Is it awful ? on: March 01, 2024, 11:47:43 PM
So that is the story.
I am tempted to repeat the process with a fake id and fake wallet with $5 , as you suggested.

Here, a screenshothttps://ibb.co/WH9h6VY
That's a fake representative you encounter with, check the groups member info, there should be some mod and admin there, double check  the details, as scammers learn how to make themselves more like exactly the representative by having the same name and copied username as bio. It's common tactics of scammers to get trick their victims.
And that site of screenshot of yours is obviously from scammers.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5G positive effects on Bitcoin on: March 01, 2024, 11:31:30 PM
5G doesn't have big effect on bitcoin technology i don't think there's correlation between them, it's the internet itself that becoming available all over the globe has the huge effect reaching more and more people to enter the space. 4G has the same thing, 5G is just faster nothing more nothing less.
360  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 01, 2024, 04:10:20 PM
When you have one or more children, you have heavy responsibilities. Sometimes you're on a tight budget. Can being a parent change our playing habits? Are losses even harder to bear when you're in charge of a family? What are your experiences in this area?
Depends on how responsible a person is. Some changes and priorities their family, some don't, some become addicted more due to stress or whatever they experience.

As for me, i'm not a problematic gambler, i gamble like occasional, and it never changed me even i already have a 3 year old buddy.
