You say in your OP that shareholders will have voting rights. Surely this is meaningless, as you'll hold the majority of shares and control the board of directors, your vote will always win over the votes of the people investing?
Only publically hold shares have voting rights on Cryptostocks, the shares still held by the issuer don't have voting rights. So if an issuer of a stock put up a vote for something, then the investors in that stock control 100% of the voting power.

What about those who have bought in the last few days below 0.005 but well above 0.000001!
this.
Both Altswap and Firemine have been tradestopped and trade has been reopened again on both stocks before it had been announced on cryptostocks what had happened(there's still no announcement of it on cryptostocks).
That action alone will of course make the one that reopened trades, Altswap/Firemine and/or Cryptostocks responsible to compensate anyone that (during the time after trade was reopened) will become victim of loosing on the now announced partial split for buying stocks(above lowest sold price they will recalculate from on respective stocks).

No announcement had been made on either Altswap or Firemine's stock on Cryptostock by the way when they announced here how the fix/split should work and it still haven't been made so more shady business from there side.

https://cryptostocks.com/securities/61

Mcxnow have been up and running for full for over a month now and the contract in MCXNOW100 say that dividend is supposed to be payed in the end of the month"...dividends will be paid on a monthly basis on, or near, the last day of the month..."
Last time dividend was paid it was made the 26:th of the month so one assumes that the interpretation of that the issuer themself made is last day or possibly a few days earlier(not later) is when the dividend should be payed.

No announcement have been made on the subject by the issuer of MCXFEE100 on cryptostocks so we have to assume the dividend date has been missed by the issuer and dividend now is 3 days delayed, why is that the case. Why is the dividend delayed and why has there been no announcement about it ?

To reply to what was mentioned in gridseeds forum, picture 31 is the gridseed product and it appears to have the correct CE marking see this http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/images/ce_mark_big.gif for example and there is cases where the identification number must not follow the CE marking on the product.
346  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: Någon svensk som hade pengar hos MtGox? on: March 02, 2014, 11:27:27 PM

"Hello,

I am in Japan and have deposited 12.499 million Yen (about USD 122,000) at MtGox from October to December 2013. I currently have 175 BTCs and 13,000 Yen in cash at their exchange. I also have a Premium status account.

Please let me know how to proceed.
That was most of my retirement money."

"Hi.

My name is xxx and I live in Sweden, Malmö.
I am writing for me and for my girlfriend and my dad.
We all bought and sold bitcoins a last years and made some money.
We have taken out some money when we need to and right now me and my girlfriend was going to buy a house and start a family so we tried to withdraw the money in January.
Since the money didn't show up after 4 weeks I tried to contact them but still nothing.
I hope that together with you and some others get at least some money back.
If you need any proof of the withdrawals or such I can provide some of it.
We had in total $49000 on the accounts.

Hope to hear from you regarding this, since we are unsure how to proceed."

A lot of things looks very shady about this company lets take a look at the basic thing the mining and what they say about it.

"Revenue Sources:

Shareholder money will be directly put towards new mining power on a daily basis. We have miners ready to set up, more being shipped, and others that can be quickly ordered and delivered..."

This indicates that they should actually have some hardware and have more on the way and that they can order even more if needed so it should not be any overpriced cloudhashing GH they resell or buy in then.
and then we take a look at the numbers they have presented sofar.

The text in bold should be pretty accurate for what Firemine charged there shareholders for each GH/s(0.049-0.074 btc/ GH/s) mining power before they/cryptostocks got things totally messed up.

If you compare that to for example a KnC miner at 500-700GH/s for 5000-7000 usd delivered back in oct/nov(that should have paid off it's cost by now) but even if paid full cost it's 0,017-0,023 btc / GH/s or compare them with a cointerra IV delivered now at 1700 GH/s for 6000 usd then it's 0,0059 btc / GH/s so with there pricing of ASICmining GH's one just can't call FIREMINE anything else than a SCAM as FIREMINE charge 8 times more than current ASIC hardware cost.

The market on Ceo.io that is charging an increadibly high overprice for mining power was at around 0.024 btc / GH/s during this time so firemine has even charged 2-3 times more than there already inflated price.

"Shareholders will see mining stats on the Google Doc and be able to track exactly how much they are making each day. We will be continually adding more hashing power as more shares are released to even out the dividend payments and maximize shareholder profits!"

They removed the mining result that they already had published for the 24 and 25 feb and they haven't published the mining result for the 26 feb or the 1 mars and the payment for the mined btc for the 27-28 was 1-2 days late and the earnings for the 24-26 feb and 1 mars they haven't paid out at all.

So if you think about investing in BTC mining, comparing a couple of options then it could look something like this.
==================================================================================

1) Buy Firemine shares at cryptostocks at 0,03 btc per share(IPO price), get back 8-12% of what you invest if they don't run away with your money.

2) "Invest" in buying mining power at CEX.io and you will get around 25% back of what you invest if you buy and hold until the mining power is worth 0.00000000 btc per GH/s.

3) keep your btc and don't invest in any BTC mining equitment and you will have 100% of you investment left

4) Buy hardware from a serious ASICminer manufacturer that dont overcharge for there products then you may expect to get something like 50%-150% return based on when you invest, what you pay for it and what companys ASIC's you invest in.

So if you don't do very carefull calculations on your planned investment it's most likely better to not buy any btc mining shares or ASIC hardware at all, and whatever you do never ever "invest"/throw money away at cex.io or BFL(or anything even worse than them...).

....  That company is asshole... they selling old controller and ask me to take, if you dont, they dont want to sell you. so still working on it

After those miner ready,,i will post some picture later

Gray
It's bad of Gridseed to send you an old(not working ?) controller. But if the controller unit cost 67 usd and you need 1 unit for 10 gridseed miners i think the best thing to do might be to just order 1 (or 2) extra controller units that works for now and take that 67 usd cost, thats just 67/(160*10+67) 4% of the cost extra for that set of 10 miners, you can always try to argue with them about that later, the important thing for you is to get your miner up and working, 3 days of downtime for a set of 10 miners because of a bad controller is probably equal to the cost of an extra controller unit.

auctully ...if you mined both btc and ltc,,,it's not only 60w ( without overclock )...and not 8g ... about 6.3g sha256 hashrate.

I'm still testing it.  for now,  i got 390k hashrate with ltc mode with 7kwatt,  with some modified ..... but i'm testing if it stable

Gray
390 kh/s scrypt(LTC) mode, that sounds very good. Good luck on your project. Im sure you find what's the optimal for your conditions to get a good output and make the miners stable with some testing.

You mentined you were calcuulating what was best "I'm calculating which situation is better for us, both mining btc/ltc , or ltc only.", i did run the numbers a few days ago on the gridseed miners on the GRID project, the numbers on whats most profitable should be simular for you.

Will there be any info on the mining proces once its up? Can we check how much income the miners generate?
Not sure what degree of statistic they will provide but here's an estimate(coinwarz) for GRID based on todays btcprices and profitabillity based on the following: usd per btc 543,59(very low now would have been better to exchange yesterday at ~620 or next time up over 600 in my opinion), 160 usd/miner 164.467 inkl controller, 65 370 000 shares 7 watt scrypt only or 7+53=60w(Scrypt+SHA256), 0.09 usd/kwh, dual mining mode(scrypt+sha256) 300 kh scrypt+8gh/s btc or 350 kh/s scrypt only.

So in the ballpark of 8-15 satouchi per 100 sat share per week or 8-15% weekly return on investment if mining dual at the specified rates, if better firmware will be avaliable some seems to think they may produce around 500kh/s scrypt but it may be better to skip the extra 53 watts sha256 mining would add then if they will go up and run at such rates, the added heat in comparison to the return from it will hardly be worth the increase in temperature and risk for failures. Next difficultyincrease for btc looks to be around 25% so when miners arrive the btcmining(SHA256) part will be at around 0.44 usd/day at current usd/btc price.

Mining both scrypt & BTC should still be slightly more profitable unless there is a scyptcoin thats extremely profitable a single day, but the difference is probably only something like 0,2 usd per gridseed 5chip miner and day or 10% with current difficulty on btc and the power usage reported seems to be 7 w scrypt only and 60 w scrypt+BTC(sha256) so maby the temperature increase may be a factor to if it's hard to get the miners stabalized.

On the next difficulty change in around 11 days the difference may be dovn to 4-5 % and the difficultychange after that it will probably be negative to mine dual, but it all depends on exactly how much you pay for power and how much scrypt hashrate you loose by mining both scrypt and BTC and how profitable scryptmining is each day and that seems to vary a lot. You can try coinwarz http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency to get a good estimates on what will be best for you.

Saw a ad for this place on wheretomine.com , promising a 5% DAILY return on your investment. You can withdraw at any time, and you can look at the previous transactions and stuff. I can easily get $2000, and thats $100 the first day, and more each day, as interest is accrued. Does anyone have experience with this website? And if so, would someone share there story on ROI and how they actually work? Thanks!
If they give you 5% compounded daily return that is definately a HYIP/ponzi, you don't even have to look at there page to tell that, just by the return you mention it just can't be anything else. They will run there scam until they get someone that invests a large enouth sum or until investements dry out then they dissapear forever.
5% compounded interest seen over a year is 54 211 841 times the money. 10 000 usd would become 542 118 415 800 usd in a year, if it were true. With those kind of amounts you could probably run a small poor country, surely you see it's unrealistic return they claim to be offering.

There is no serious business that would generate those kind of returns even for a small amount of time and not be able to get private funding in there nearest surroundings and have to go out to get fundings from strangers.

Even in the btc world, mining and else you woun't see those kind of extreme returns, if you look over time you may under special occations under shorter period of times have been able to get a few % daily interest but when it comes to 40,71% weekly compounded interest like the one you mention you just woun't find investments with steady returns on those kind of levels, if someone would find a nieche thats making those kind of returns on anything it will be done in a small closed private group, not open to public investors.

Do you actually have anything for sale on your site that actually excists that people can buy and recieve now ?
Think i earlier saw that you sold shares in your company on your site for 1500 dollar(each ?) if that was per share then thats quite a bit higher price than you sold them for on cryptostocks, why's that the case ?
358  Economy / Securities / Re: WARNING Cryptostocks.com INVESTORS SECURITY FLAW on: February 26, 2014, 03:30:09 PM
I think the Altswap/Firemine listings looks strange. For example the fact that they reused the webpage for those listings and how they haven't been very clear about what they actually mine with or what they buy for the investors money and some other things in how the contract was formulated, also the price they seems to have payed per GH and what each GH seems to be generating don't seem to make much sence, but with that beeing said:

....
If someone has access to your email, despite you having 2fA set-up, they can click lost password, and then a new password link will be sent, when you click that link and make a new password, it logs you in and overrides or disables your 2FA!!!!
....
and cashed out about 1 bitcoin
....
If this is what happened it's a bad flaw in CS system that they should fix as soon as possible, the whole point with 2FA is to make it impossible for someone that may get access to an email/password from doing any harm, even CS should realize that and maby they should compensate the issuer at least partially for that and if the losses "only" were 1 btc there shouldn't be any problems for Cryptostocks to take that cost as they charge each company 1 btc to list at there site. But it's stll up to everyone to protect there emailadress so even if the 2FA don't work the way one can expect it to do it's not fully CS's fault.

I emailed cryptostocks for 2 days trying to get a response about this....  first email I got was the following:
Cryptostocks support is known to take long time in most cases, some exceptions exists thou when they acted and fixed things within minutes/hours.

Finally the addressed my concern by saying this....

Dear user, assuming that you have protected your email account (e.g. with 2FA) then this is not a flaw, you can only reset the password if you have access to the email account.
How Kumala is thinking here i can't see, he clearly haven't realized what the 2FA used on CS is for then and some email accounts dont even have the possibility to protect the email with 2FA. Kumala if someone have 2FA on at CS, then no one should be able to reset there password without access to both the email and the 2nd authentication used, they should not be able to log in, not be able to buy or sell anything and not be able to withdraw anything.

I think i read way back something about that CS was sending out a postcard after a week or two to those that wanted to advanced verification to verify that there address was real as a step in getting that advanced verification. Maby something similar could be done to make sure resets of 2FA or changing of password is done by the correct person, or maby have people register there accounts with 2 emailadresses and both emails would have to confirm a change of password or reset of 2FA there could also be an automatic delaying of the change by a week or two if someone wants to change password or reset 2FA to make things safer.

Edit reading what you said a bit closer

We could not figure out how they gained access but I just tested it and it is, in my opinion a very serious flaw
...
If someone has access to your email, despite you having 2fA set-up, they can click lost password, and then a new password link will be sent, when you click that link and make a new password, it logs you in and overrides or disables your 2FA!!!!

Shouldent you have seen pretty mutch directly that something was wrong, if someone changed your password your old one sholulden't work, how have you been able to log into CS up until recently if CS support diden't answer you for 2 days ?

Any update?? is that BTCQUICK going to seize its service? I have invested 100 BTC into this company, however, Is that nobody cares about it ? This is a lot money for me .....

I also invest lots of money in this company. Now, I feel hopeless for the future. If the law  prohibits service, I think we'd better compensate investors based on what left.

2 Years for licensing is not acceptable because that would cost huge amount of money and lose all investors' investment.
I don't think there is any law in the usa that outright prohibits there service but there may be quite some costs involved in getting licensed & registered as money transmitters in at least 43 of the states in the USA if the company &/or there servers is located in the USA. Where did the 2 year figure come from, i haven't seen btcQuick mention any such time-frame and they should be able to serve international customers(and probably us customers from 5 states) even if there not licensed in those 43 states that requires it for accepting customers from those states yet.

How about posting NAV n stuffs? Also P/L per security would be very interesting.

Note im not invested in this security and i pretty much know what the numbers will show.

I'm marking the ACTM shares to market at BTC.01/share, which makes NAV ~36.5BTC

Note: These are forward looking statements. Your due diligence is required.
Activemining is not delisted, there still listed on on cryptostocks https://cryptostocks.com/securities/56 and they have relisted on crypto-trade(762 175 out of  25 000 000 shares on the market there so far), https://www.crypto-trade.com/tradex/ipo/amc_btc at CT they last traded at 0,0006(ken's illeagal forsed selling of ukyos/ukyo loan shareholders/weexchange balanceholders shares) and at CS last price was 0,001 but that price is hardly significant as there only 8 789 stocks listed on CS and i think ACM's plan is to transfer peoples stock from platforms that closed down to CT.
Labcoin on the other hand that you have listed as defunct on CS is delisted https://cryptostocks.com/securities/53.

Do you know anything the recent security breach and $30k loss at Crypto-trade? CT shares were very stable, I'm hoping these shares don't nosedive as soon as trading re-opens.

No i don't know much at all about crypto-trade, just checked there site in a few times the last couple of months, diden't even know they lost 30k, reasonable there stock should have taken some dive when such things happens but maby there shareholders is mostly people that bought it a long time ago that don't check there site to often and there was also some big walls up on there stock when i checked there site so maby that preveted those that know about the loss from effecting the price to much. and the fact that they started to pay out dividends in all sorts of coins now instead of just btc or ltc may have confused people even more and the increased trade the ACTM's introduction on the site was probably also seen as a positive thing by the crypto-trade shareholders.
But if your worried about the price on the crypto-trade shares price you could probably just sell them off if there's just 9 in BBBB's possession, that shouldn't have to much negative impact on the price of the stock.
