is there any way to adjust lines?  for instance tennis betting, changing +3.5 games to +4 games?

This is frankly a long time for this site to be having a problem, with no response from the admin there.  It looks like (from the prior posts) it's been like at least 6 or 7 hours.  I e-mailed them and PM'ed them.  Is anyone having luck getting deposits in, recognized by your acct on the site?

can anyone recommend another btc book?

You'd have to be drunk/high to say you are "closed due to inclement weather"

Sounds like their dream has collapsed and they are taking it hard. Hope not too many people had money in there.
In fairness, Atlanta really has been shut down.  School buses were apparently stuck on the roads overnight.  But I think CampBX's problems have been running longer than that.

I still have yet to get my money from then. Been since January 22nd. Way before their "weather" excuse happened. They'll pretty much use any excuse they can think of I guess. Every response from them has been "wait another two days". Seriously, what does one really due in a situation  when an online company seems to have stolen your money?

I just logged into my account and see my FUNDS as a balance now. How do you convert that into BTC and send it out CampBX immediately? I'm afraid to try anything on their site that has to do with transfers or trades because they just never work.

you can get a lawyer in Georgia and sue them

Assuming you are asking about USD to be transferred out: first get your receiving Bitcoin address ready - another exchange, online wallet, your own wallet - whatever works for you. Then go to Trade Now and enter the amount of BTC and price under Quick Buy. You'll have to guesstimate the amount to make sure all your cash gets converted AND there is enough to cover commission. Transfer the resulting BTC to the address your set up earlier. There is no harm in trying since the alternative is to lose it all.

You will most likely lose money with this - BTC price is currently on CampBX ~$30 higher than e.g. BTC-E or Coinbase. This is also a sure sign that CampBX is in the shitter (everyone's pulling their coins out).

Thanks. Since everyone is bailing from then I'm finding it real hard to buy bitcoin on that site so I can send it out. If I make a quick buy order, that could sit there for weeks most likely. I' d rather pay a ridiculous $20 money order fee and just be done with them. I've never worked with such a shabby place in my life before.

your best bet is actually to turn it into BTC and transfer out.  I had  a money order request in to get my money out for weeks and they kept making excuses about not sending it, and never did send it
347  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi.io - Fast, Guaranteed 120% Payouts on: February 05, 2014, 02:59:04 PM
If someone actually sends 1 BTC, it will take a long while for all the 0.001 senders to get any return at all.
Actually, I set it up to prioritize the small transactions. The 1 BTC depositor will have to wait a while, and everyone else will get paid out as soon as their transaction confirms (this makes sense since the 1 BTC guy is making more money anyway).

Why prioritizing small transactions ? Isn't better to just pay by order ?

How long are we talking for the 1 BTC guy?  hours or days?

Unless something drastic happens we are down around another 3.5 units today and I've lost 8.5 units in less than a week. WTF

I keep following you thinking oh no they can't lose units again today but somehow it keeps happening.

If you read the analysis of each bet it all ads up and make sense, yes rough patches happen, but it will TURN around.

Please don't use this as a reason to trust you.  The line is the line for a reason.  I can equally write up reasons why your bets will lose, either side can almost always be justified.  Your record is what I look to for support.

Got 0.0118 back on a 0.101 deposit. So it's legit.

Did you get the original amount back too or just the .0118?

Anyone else having deposit problems? I Deposited over 3 hours ago now and still nothing.

I made my first deposit over 15 hours ago and got nothing and no reply from email yet

Wow. No kidding? This is very unusual for bitbook. Usually there's a guy here manning these forums for support. I'm sure he will help us soon today. I've PMed him. You should too.

Please update ASAP.  I want to make a deposit but I'm waiting to make sure everything is fine there.

I also ahve a bet that appears to have been over for many hours and it's not graded.  Tennis- Bhambri

After you've lost a certain number of units it becomes hard to just "trust" you that it will turn around. I'm already lowering my unit amounts

***One day promotion: 1 BTC minimum and 3 BTC maximum.***

100% instant match on your deposit and a small rollover requirement of 3X (deposit + bonus)

Questions can be answered here or on live support on website.

Is there a time limit on the amount of time we get to do the 3x rollover?  I might deposit 1 BTC, then the match would make it 2 BTC, so I would need to rollover 6 BTC, but I only bet like .1 BTC per bet.  Thanks.
355  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 04, 2014, 05:38:52 PM
Don't think there is minimum deposit but I know you need to wager .01 in order to transfer out after you transfer in.

Bitbook, please grade Parmentier women's tennis match.  Thanks.

EDIT: Waiting for well over an hour now.  Results on "my bets" shows Parmentier wins 2-0 but it doens't say "win"...

It sounds really sketchy, how do they generate this type of profit if it's not a pyramid scheme?

The average Joe can win at PrimeDice.. that's hard to happen anywhere else.

Why do you say that?  There is still a house edge right?  Wink

Um, now we lost a 3 unit bet and suddenly another pick goes up for 3 units in the middle of the day.  That does NOT reassure me man.  It feels like you're on tilt.

If you would have been a Premium Member since the beginning you would know picks are added through out the day, always emailed out to users, that's why we recommend people having emails attached with them at all times. We can assure you we know what we are doing as we have numerous people with years experience, yes upsets do happen. Like I mentioned to you on numerous occasions, don't worry about this. Sometimes we add 2-3 picks depending on line movements.

It just made me worry because it happened right when the 3 unit bet lost...and I'm down like 6 units in 3 days
359  Economy / Gambling / Re: ~BitCappers.com~Sports Capping~Free (46-31-2) & Premium (58-37-3) Picks~ on: February 03, 2014, 10:04:54 PM
when computing the unit record, we bet a favorite today at -267 and it said 3 units.  If it loses the unit +/- count should go down over 7.5 units from that loss.

No, we lost only the 3 units, we didn't lose any extra. On the Books online if you bet 3 unit sizes and lose, you are down just the 3 units, theres no relative juice. A unit size can be anything, you set your own unit sizes, for example if you bet 2 Units and lose the bet you would go down -2. If you for example win a 2 unit bet with the odds at -150 you would be +1.32

Wait, I e-mailed and asked and I was told if you have a 1 unit bet on -110, then you wager $110 to win $100 (if 1 unit=$100).  Your way of doing is isn't the normal way and I think everyone should know that who uses the service.  You're saying if you do "2 units" then you WAGER 2 units no matter the line?

I don't think you grasp the concept, let me rephrase it so you can understand it again.

Example :

Pick : Chelsea +1 at -190 (2 Units)
Result : Winner
Units won/loss : +1.04

If Result = Loss it would be -2 Units.

I do understand, that's exactly what I said in the second example.  I'm just telling you most people don't do it that way.  Usually when you bet "2 units", if it's an underdog you bet 2 units, if it's a favorite you bet whatever amount you need to get you to win "2 units."  So I just got destroyed by that Man City bet.
