Today, we celebrate our "Ignore shit posters and merit whore Day!"
I'll give up. I did what I could Only need to ignore 5 or 6 dozen names. ftfy

I wonder what percentage of the statistics of the reports are reports on old (more than six months) posts? How will the number of reports decrease because of this restriction? It would be very interesting to see when i checked my report stats recently there were about ~300 reports and, until a couple months ago, 3 were reported as "unhandled" and iirc it was at 3 for several years. then the other day i reported a post and noticed my "unhandled" went down to 2. so either some very old report just aged out or some very old report from some ancient post finally got taken care of (not my report specifically, prolly mine is just one of many reports on that particular post).

You need to go to a meeting bro. They start like this....
<xhomerx> (at meeting)... "Hello everyone, I'm Homer and I'm a bitcoin aholic"
<Everyone else, in unison> ..... "HI HOMER!"
(If one has never been to a "meeting", this post will probably go "woooosh")
Dr. Lance Dodes wrote a book about that and did an interview with NPR: https://www.npr.org/2014/03/23/291405829/with-sobering-science-doctor-debunks-12-step-recovery" ...There is a large body of evidence now looking at AA success rate, and the success rate of AA is between 5 and 10 percent. Most people don't seem to know that because it's not widely publicized. ... There are some studies that have claimed to show scientifically that AA is useful. These studies are riddled with scientific errors and they say no more than what we knew to begin with, which is that AA has probably the worst success rate in all of medicine...." I went to one meeting (NA) many moons ago just to say I have. I was like “this is nonsense!” I think I was the only one in there not nodding off. What a joke. When I quit dope, the last place I wanted to be was with a gathering of chain smoking, junkie losers, reciting the same old tired sob stories. It’s enough to make one want to go use again. i went to an aa meeting for reasons. main takeaway was some alcoholics cant read for crap. as we had to read passages from the "big book" and many barely were able to read out loud. this was a few decades ago, maybe its different now.

Got email from Coinbase saying that "if you sent your bitcoin for them to sell, then they would produce tax documents for you where they would be indicating the "base/cost" as ZERO", with a lame excuse of not knowing what it cost you (instead of indicating the value of bitcoin when they GOT IT).
For 2022 it is still not covered by automatic reporting (like stocks), but if next year they will start...and that was in some of laws that already passed, and then many of us would have huge problems, potentially, as they will report your sale price and your imaginary "cost" at ZERO to the three letter dudes.
since i send in a form 8949 with all cost basis and sells why would that matter? i assume coinbase has always sent all data they have already whether they admit or not.

i went back to the zork ordinal, seems it tries to load a font and save the gamestate to local storage. i dont like it.
|
|
|
i had no idea you could run actual code directly on the ordinals site.
kinda scary actually. i do not like this capability.
edit: off topic but zork was one of my 1st computer games back in the 80s. recognized it immediately lol

so filtering everything out of the water filters both the good and the bad, so the minerals are the good part.. so yeah.. question does remain where to get those naturally.. if possible?.. and yeah, vapourminer mentions to add them back in through another additional reverse filter (he did not call it that..just saying)..
something like this https://www.amazon.com/Waterdrop-Remineralization-Filtration-Essential-Minerals/dp/B08DXYL81Ci dont use or even recommend this ^^ but this is what i was talking about. you add it inline after the ro stuff.

]If I'm not mistaken, signature bans were always rare and were implemented as a way to be merciful to members who committed a serious infraction of the rules but who might not necessarily deserve a permaban--like with those members who've contributed significantly to the forum. I could be wrong about that, but I've only seen them handed out very occasionally.
a sig ban is punishment? sure for those in campaigns maybe but (for example) i could get a sig ban and not even notice. i also have sigs turned off forum wide anyway. so basically, sig bans as punishment only works on a particular subset of posters.

key that water is only h2o
not spring not smart not tap
if in USA target sells a reverse osmosis for around $2.50 24 bottles.
I heard one thing to be cautious, when drinking a lot of reverse osmosis water, is that it can flush too many minerals out of your body. So you may need to take them in again via supplement. you can get inline cartridges that add minerals back in. i dont use them in my RO system though.
