341  Economy / Economics / Re: So mining is apparently only profitable if btc is over $8600 on: May 04, 2018, 03:05:12 PM
Morgan Stanley say bitcoin mining only profitable above 8600 dollars. I'm not sure this is correct though, especially if future valuations come anywhere close to fruition.

Its not correct. I mean its juts about the time and hash rate calculation which defines the ultimate fate of everything. If you have bigger hash rate then your ROI time will be less no matter what are the prices. If you have less hash rate then obviously it will take huge time to recover the cost of set up.
Im not sure how Morgan got that calculation but for me that is how it works. I might be wrong but hey come on its working just fine for me. After holding if the price grow huge then obviously that would rise in my profit itself.
342  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest challenges that we will encounter in Bitcoin on: May 04, 2018, 01:37:57 PM
One of the biggest challenges that we will encounter in Bitcoin is the Scalability problem which means there is only limited amount of information that can be contained or its capacity. I'm sure that there will be more people who will going to join the campaign which will result to a possible delay during processing or trading. So how can we provide a solution on this or how to ensure that all the trading done were saved once delayed before bitcoin achieves mainstream adoption?
~snip~

Off course. its all about the time when things can be sorted out for something. The devs are already on it but only thing we miss is, speed and accuracy of development. The things is, the development here works on the people's contribution considering the fact that it is public ledger and there is no way to keep things altogether unless and until people contribute! Whatever you discussing is all about the part of development and its really achievable. Obviously if credit card companies were able to handle so many transaction per seconds then blockchain will do that one day.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding habit on: May 03, 2018, 02:48:51 PM
This is a call to all bounty hunters to refrain from the dumping habits they are known for. Can bounty hunters cultivate good holding habit and stop dumping their tokens immediately after distribution?
Why do bounty hunters dump tokens?

Off course to get the profits. Mostly ICO's will keep the ICO prices at the start of exchanger listing but as soon as they get list most of the people will try to sell at that rate to receive huge profits. There becomes the psychology also where bounty tokens are anyway free tokens and thus in the long run any price that they get at the start is 100% profit. Also, many times it could happen that in the future they might turn to scam and thus to save things from such events its better they dump it immediately.
Those are the pretty strong reason why they dump immediately. Once they dump the prices go down anyway and could take ages to come back!
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you know that if you double 100$ for 15 times it becomes 1.5 million dollars? on: May 03, 2018, 01:22:54 PM
I am not sure what you thinking but mostly if you ask a mathematician "what is 15 times of 100" then most probably they will say its just 1,500!

What you doing is called as compounding ! A way of trading or re-investing the initial value along with the profits and thus keep going on. In your case we will need to do this 15 times to get the same results as you calculated here.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be ahead of others in simple way! on: May 03, 2018, 12:58:27 PM
Saw the site you provided. It looks like they are extracting the news links from all over the internet and are not having their own news updates as such! I mean all the hyperlinks are there and nothing else. Anyway, it is also looks very very new as the task bar info is misleading and not updated yet. The site says BTC dominance is 100%, which is wrong in the first place. May be they will turn out good source if they keep updating it in proper way and they must source out major news updates on their web page if they are going to provide the hyperlinks for articles.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHILD PORNOGRAPHY IN BITCOIN on: May 03, 2018, 12:13:14 PM
Bitcoin could become illegal in all countries that bans child pornography after discovering this: https://www.sciencealert.com/bitcoin-illegal-almost-everywhere-after-shocking-blockchain-discovery-child-pornography

What can you say about it?

Such kin of acts and news coming like that are not new for the fiat world also. The bitcoin can be worst and thats completely understandable. First there was money laundering and things like that now we have this kind of acts. This is really getting worst day by day in the world of blockchain actually. Just because of that very nature of the bitcoin its being used as open to do anything attitude! We cant do anything about it, its both anonymous and traceable but with no conclusive proofs.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: Prices will some day fluctuate less? on: May 03, 2018, 10:18:04 AM
Do you think that someday the prices for Bitcoin will fluctuate less and ppl will be able to use more as a currency, and not only as a form of investment?

Possibility of this can not be ignored. I mean if that happens then there will be only one assumption of this, bitcoin is widely used and controlled too! As long as these two factors execute until then we will see huge stability in the crypto world. Beyond the imagination I would also think that altcoins will gain the stability too just because of the bitcoin prices being stable. But this will take the fun out of crypto world where we do lots of trading depending upon the fluctuations etc. So the question is whether do we need this much stability so that we will have less opportunities that way.

349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dimcoin doing great !!! on: May 02, 2018, 11:26:53 AM
After investing dimcoin initially i had issue with sending dim from my nem wallet to exchanges .Once the issue got solved price was going to bottom . But i always used to follow team was giving great effort . So thought to wait now DIMCOIN introduces IBIN . Price is increasing even lots for people looking into this . I think patience always the key for success in crypto world . I hope Now onwards Dimcoin will take its momentum.

Yes one I did their bounty camping and got good amount of DIMs but soon I found out that they are having worst rates when they listed themselves on the exchanger. It was pleasuring to see them go smooth during their ICO sale phase and they were the hot success. Eventually I also thought that they will turn to be scammers (literally!!) can you imagine! But here they are after long patience they are at something and yeah I cant agree more on this but patience is the key! Really!
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero (XMR) really the most protected? on: May 02, 2018, 11:06:40 AM
XMR is most private technology.
This has been confirmed even by Zenchash CEO
Soon will be monero hardforks, and tem saying if you use your keys for claiming coins, your privacy will be under risk

I dont understand. First you made the statement of XMR privacy being the best one and then later on you are saying that its just can compromise the privacy when you will start the claiming of coins. What does that suppose to mean anyway.

In any forks if you have to claim the coins then you will have to provide the private keys then only you can get those forked coins in your wallets.

That anyway privacy concern in general!
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Future? on: May 02, 2018, 10:18:07 AM
I continue to believe in this coin. This is a strong project, which should be improved soon. I like this project because the development team is very active. They are constantly improving their project. Just HODL Wink

The coin is doing very great in terms of its hikes in the market capitalism etc but not in the scaling issues yet! I mean this is their agenda this year, to scale up the dam thing and increase the load of transaction delivered per time! I think as long as they dont switch on this development then I fear that many people might just try out the NEO, Waves etc platform for their safety and speed. So as long as they are on track of their development then we can keep saying that ETH is the perfect coin to invest in. Hopefully it will do great once that issue is solved. Many of them says it could reach 2K plus if that happens.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 02, 2018, 09:57:12 AM
I would say its great passive income if you keep trying. I mean its not like we will get scammed all the time but many times few of the ICO's can become huge point of attraction and thus our time and efforts might just get paid for the time being. Its all about how you put forth the theory of utilising the bounty campaigns. If you loose patience before climbing the first step of ladder then I am sure you will never reach the highest mountain. Better keep trying and one day everything might just pay off.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin will rise more? on: May 02, 2018, 08:36:05 AM
Litecoin creator Charlie Lee sold all of his holdings in December last year.  He’s now regretful about his decision but thinks this was the right long-term move as he tried to make Litecoin a truly decentralized cryptocurrency.

Litecoin has lost more than half of its value since its peak times, but here are some indicators that this cryptocurrency is poised to reach new highs.

What is your idea?

LTC has been always choice of coin after BTC, ETH! So I am pretty sure either peoples choice or LTC"s development opportunity will bring ATH one more time. There is no problem with this currency and as we have seen the ATH once in a while, so the past will surely repeat itself and it only means that we know the true potential for this coin.

I am not sure what its developer was thinking about it but surely he made the great mistake by doing that.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holds for the Bull Market on: May 01, 2018, 02:05:36 PM
Why not add coins like IOST, ADA and EOS. They seem to be next big thing too.

I only see 4 coins that you have listed but only ETH is the one which is favourite for me from that list.

However, I do believe that there are many coins which will outlay our expectation this year. Its like we are in the year where huge condensation of crypto investors can be seen. They are learning for now but by the year end the world is going to be something different.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you participate in crowdsales? on: May 01, 2018, 10:59:45 AM
Many times but those many times do consider the huge research before I can invest anything into it. I am pretty sure that when I make investment through the Crowdsale then I will ask my friends and other forum members here for an advice about that ICO project.

ICObench and ICOreview ratings doesn't matter for me anymore because they can be paid one and whom to trust about that. Its better to ask organic crowd about it and then take the step forward.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: May 01, 2018, 10:45:01 AM
I heard it could reach that price by the mid year end and not even the year end I am talking about. There are many speculations going on about the ETH and all of them are just directing this to one value and thats 2400 or 2500 + value per ETH. Really thats getting more exciting as we move further however recent hack was bad for the ETH and it pulled back the ETH growth a little back but its again moving so no worries.

Lets just hope that our holding and efforts to earn ETH will pay back.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im so much inspired! on: May 01, 2018, 10:05:07 AM
Bountyhive is somewhat getting too much recognised these days and there is no single day when I am reading about it in a thread here. Is it marketing strategy of the bounty hive or is it really the best one in the market that can be worked with. Its really amazing how many topics are getting created about the boutnyhive. It feels like one must try this and then see the results of it. Then only one can come to know whats the truth. Bountyhive seems to be supported by colorlessk manger also so might be something unique about it.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy Cardano before it hits 40 Cents on: April 30, 2018, 11:27:51 AM
What do you guys think!

ADA is multicurrency coin on single ledger supports and the developments for the same are going on at alarming rates. It is also listed as the Q2 must watch coin and thus my gut feeling says yes it will be the next coin to invest in before its too late.

For more detailed recent updates you can follow this article
Code:

I am pretty sure ADA is also among the next top bought coin, so having dozens of it will be far profitable.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token on: April 30, 2018, 10:59:28 AM
what is a token? and how could I use it?
he token is actually a new term referring to a value unit issued by a private entity. Although tokens have many similarities to bitcoins, they are more important than currency, because they can be used in a wider range of applications. Also virtually all tokens are based on the Blockchain Ethereum protocol, which according to experts is more complete than bitcoin blockade.

In other words, a token is a unit of value that an organization creates to manage its business model independently to enable users to interact with its products, and to facilitate the distribution and sharing of prizes and benefits with all interested parties.
in this sense the token of the ethereum platform for example will always have a value lower than that of the ethereum if I understand well

Not really. You are confusing the whole idea of creating tokens. Its just entity representative and its real value depends on versatile factors. Like, how much investment is being made into it, what is the total market cap for that token, development of that token issuing project. All these, if inline with projects roadmaps (future plans) then people see it as opportunity to gain the profits by investing into its early stage where the prices are very low. As they keep on investing, its market cap grows and thus its value starts rising.

Now this value can keep on increasing all the time no matter what is the value of ETH itself.

For instance BCH is altcoin whose price is $ 1398 at the current time. Its all about the facts that i mentioned above who decides the prices.

ETH is getting its value in the similar manner,( how much its being utilised!)

OK.if i have token on my ethereum address how to use them?

If it is on the ETH address in your ERC20 supported wallet then you can trade it over the exchanger by sending the tokens.

For example, if you have IOST token and you want to use them to exchange for the purpose of getting BTC, ETH or any other coin that you need then just go and find the exchanger where it is listed first. In case of IOST it is already listed over 4-5 exchangers and lets pick Binance. Second step woudl be create the account on binance, then search for the IOST token in the wallet. There you can see the deposit option, by selecting that you can get the deposit address for the IOST. (You can send only IOST on this and however same procedure follows for other tokens too). Then come to your main wallet where you holding the tokens. Here copy the address of exchanger and paste it in the field of "To address". Input the amount and generate the transaction and click send. After sufficient confirmation you will see the IOST transferred to your exchanger wallet.

From here on wards you can trade your token with all the available pairs and thus obtain other currencies. If you get them converted to BTC then you can use BTC further to convert into fiat on your local wallet and then get the fiat money into you bank account.
