3421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 21, 2021, 11:22:16 PM
It's kinda hard to choose, if we see right now only 2 meme coins has a big comunitty which is doge and shib. I think it's hard both of this coin to survive because meme coin just pure hype and don't have real product and services.
It seems to see that Shiba is a promising project and as we can see, the price of this altcoin is high. I can't expect that it was a meme coin, not exactly how it looks for me. I think it is a need for us to divert our mind from thinking that meme coins are shit or useless. Remember that many altcoins around that are much more than shit and many of them are long dead already.

It is quite to know that Doge has existed in the market for many years and it remains to belong at the top 20 altcoins in the market.  I think that seems to prove that even it was a meme coin there is still a chance to grow in the market and these two coins (Doge and Shiba) will able to compete with others.
3422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: June 19, 2021, 09:38:27 PM
Looks like this fight isn't happening and instead it will be Nonito Donaire facing Casimero.
https://www.boxingscene.com/donaire-replaces-rigondeaux-face-casimero-118-pound-unification-fight-august-14--158519

This is a more interesting fight because it will be a unification and it is between two Filipino fighters.

Ohh man, i just can't believe this is happening. Unlike Mexicans, there is not a lot of Filipino champions in boxing so this is big news in the Philippines.

If this is the path to unifying the 118lbs belt then i think i would go for Quadro Alas here because of youth, that's all.

You guys believe that Top Rank got a hand of this?  Grin

This is advantageous to Inoue as he will only be fighting once to unify the belt, not twice anymore.

@Baofeng Japinat, need to change the title of the thread bro hehe.

True, and after he will beat Dasmarinas, then we will only have to fight one boxer to get all the title into his hands. What if Donaire would win against Casimero? Then more on his advantage as he already beat Donaire once in an exciting fight.
3423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 19, 2021, 02:02:49 PM
The jazz fall in love with three-pointers in game 6, they forget that they have Gobert inside the shaded lane, and I don't know why Clarkson never plays in the fourth quarter wherein he scores tons of points, a few seasons ago this is the same mistake they did, taking three's while their center, have higher chances and will open the floor for them, instead they are taking contested shot in the fourth, I'm a bit confused but congrats to the clippers.

That was always their style, they live with 3, they'll die with 3s.

Gobert wasn't really a big deal in this series, and just like the last season, Clarkson is not given a lot of minutes as the play just focuses on Mitchell and their 3 point shooting. We see Conley in the game, but he only has limited contribution and had few points only.

Conley played 25 minutes, able to score only 5 points from 1-8 shooting, the 2 points earned in FT.

We can see that he is not fully healthy yet, they just play him because they really need to win this game, but unfortunately, they allow the Clippers to come back.
3424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 19, 2021, 01:48:30 PM

Can't wait for tomorrow's match against SoKor. Want to see Gilas giving a definition of what's the "lucky shot" is supposed to be. Smiley

This is like a training ground with this young guns now for them to improve more in the future but I guess the roster will be updated again once the Asia Cup is nearing.

Yes. That would be the best training ground that those youngsters will experience - international competition.

I think this is the first time that the full lineup of Gilas was composed of young guns for FIBA qualifiers, correct me if I'm wrong though.

Anyone here wants to bet on the Philippines to win?

The betting line is already available, Philippines is +6.5 in this game, but if you will bet on the moneyline, you will get +300 or x3 of your bet.

It's too early to put a bet, the game will be tomorrow so I guess I'll spend more time analyzing if it's really good to take the bet or not. Philipines is undefeated, SoKor lost once from the come-back win of the Philippines, I think they'll play harder this time to beat the Philippines.

However, since i'm a Filipino, I'm also thinking of supporting the players, so I will beat on them.
3425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 19, 2021, 01:28:09 PM
Jazz probably needs a real veteran leader in their squad or someone who has done it all. Sometimes it's the little talks that makes the difference. I like Mitchell since he's really good and can change the momentum of the game but he's not that kind of guy yet.

Congratulations to Terrance and the Clippers for closing the series in style.

The clippers made history again, I was really thinking we will see a game 7 but Mann is the man, he doesn't want to go back to salt lake City and he gave the fans the best gift. After 50 sesasons, Clippers are finally in the WCF, I'm sure these guys will receive a good bonus.
3426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: June 19, 2021, 09:46:51 AM
Your words have a lot of logic, I think so myself. The way we understand crypto and have a fairly good idea about its future and think that it is possible to make a good amount of money through it. But it is very difficult for us to explain it to the people of the previous day. That's why when we need to invest in a project, we have a lot of trouble understanding them
If you are already in the crypto space, then you don't need to think about other people and explain everything to other people, because it won't help you much, just take care of yourself and always focus on your own profit every day, because it's far better than being depressed with your own thoughts.
It was helpless to talk to people when there is no sense of interest, yeah, it is just a waste of time and effort. many were still ignorant about crypto, they usually think about scams, altcoins are shit, I will just lose my money. It is all about negativity. We can do nothing about this kind of mindset.

Instead of spending time talking to people, it is much better to spend time improving our knowledge and skill. And as well know that crypto investment is not for everyone, and not force them either if they don't.
3427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 19, 2021, 07:06:30 AM
We have no escaped from this. This a problem that we are about to face in the future once KYC is mandatory no matter how much it is.
To tell you that, we are closely losing the word anonymous in crypto. Some banks are already asking for our source of income before we send it to them otherwise, they will freeze it if we fail to provide information. Exchanges are doing as well when we surpass the limitation.

The best option for you to do is convert it is fiat in small chunks so maybe it finds unnoticed. Or you use P2P service if you are not afraid of scam risk.
3428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Force of Nature on: June 19, 2021, 06:37:27 AM
I don't know how to picture it out but this not the force of nature, it is a sort of currency development, some things happen like this in the other areas. Because as the generation evolves, it is a need for us also to upgrade.

If Bitcoin has been created when there is no computer and internet yet, how can be useful? Of course, not. It was just base where we are today and very unfortunate I know to have this development as it becomes useful and very applicable to our generation. And might possible changes have come in the next 100 years and cryptocurrency will not be longer applicable to the market.
3429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to Invest in Bitcoin?? on: June 18, 2021, 11:42:25 PM
To make a profit in Bitcoin is the main reason why people are coming in here and do an investment. And they are absolutely right. But, in order to make reach our goal and become profitable, it is a need for us to clearly understand the risk otherwise, we just fail.

And the other thing is that we don't be overly confident that everything will work fine after investing. We can't simply ignore the volatility of the market and who knows Bitcoin price will dump after we buy, that will be a big challenge and I'm not sure if these people know what to do next or to have sold it back?
3430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to hold during a bear market? on: June 18, 2021, 10:37:00 PM
Top coins are the most preferred coin to hold...3-5 coins, I think that was enough.

And I hope people disregard the thing looking for x100, x1000 coins because it was just a waste of time finding them at this bear market. Instead of spending and wasting time looking at them, why not invest directly in the known coins? And I know we can't be in regrets in the future.
yes. I think you are right, if when the market is experiencing a decline, we should buy coins that are backed by the exchange it owns, such as BNB. but I prefer to buy stable coins as a trading activity when the market situation is sluggish
It is to understand that they are safer to invest as they have a working product and we rely upon them thinking that they will survive the coming market crisis.
3431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: June 18, 2021, 10:02:21 PM
This is nothing new. It has been happening for a very long time, and right from the time I started investing in cryptocurrency, there has been a lot of these fake exchanges. So, it is very important for newbies to know about it.

Some scammers will always create their own websites and be paroling as if they are legit, only for you to find out that they are not legit. Some of them create a carbon copy of well known exchanges to lure newbies into their trap. So whenever you want to visit any exchange, it’s good to check the URL you’re clicking to be sure that it is accurate, so you don’t make the mistake of losing your money
Apparently, this scenario was not new but for the newcomers, they might become a victim of this. So we never have to stop spreading awareness to the community, the more we are seriously tagging and busting scam sites, the more chances that these scammers will stop and leave from here. It is a need for us to be more vigilant knowing that these people are also smart and they will find a way to scam people no matter what it cost their reputation( sadly they don't have anymore).
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 18, 2021, 12:51:07 PM
^^ Exactly, it means that this is really a hard fight to predict, there are fighters who says Manny will win because of his experience, but there are some who are leaning towards Spence's youth and physical advantage.

So it will not be boring for sure, every Pacquiao's fight is very specially, even in the Marquez knock out, the fight is toe to toe. So this fight will go either way, but I think Manny's experience will be the key here and of course his speed.

That's for sure, if we want to see an entertaining fight, we should tune in to this fight and we should not leave our chair as it could end early, who knows.  It could be the biggest fight this year, and if Spence will win, that would add to his resume and Pacquiao could possibly retire after this.

However, if it's Pacquiao who would win, there will surely be more hype for him, and he might be in the top 1 pound for pound king again.
Beating Spence is his ticket to fight Crawford as he can say no anymore.
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas June 19 on: June 18, 2021, 12:26:40 PM
The odds are pretty attractive for Dasmariñas with +900.
We all know that Inoue is the heavy favourite in this match with 90% winning probability as per predictions. But I believe Dasmariñas could find a way to beat Inoue.
If he could beat Inoue that means a $100 bet will turn into $900 and that's so d*mn tempting.
https://www.oddsshark.com/boxing/naoya-inoue-vs-michael-dasmarinas-odds-fight-prediction-betting

What do you guys think?

It's really attractive, but will you bet on the betting sites that have the odds now?  I think it's better if we wait until it's already available, we still have one day and hopefully, that odds will be out. I guess it's not only +900 but we can see +1500 in other sites as one site has x15 wins on Dasmarinas.
3434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency will rise in future? on: June 17, 2021, 11:40:11 PM
for now, especially in altcooins, I still like eth and bnb, even though eth is still protesting a lot about the gas they use and bnb is still unstable for now but I still like these two coins, other than that for a few days I'm still watching tko and polka dots and I think these coins will go up and will continue to grow in fans over time
there are so many fans of Ethereum and BNB, it seems that these coins do dominate all over the world,
almost everyone wants Ethereum and BNB, I wonder, why not a cheap coin like Doge?, maybe Shiba INU or Safemoon  Grin
ETH and BNB are considered for a long-term investments. While these memes coins are for short-term deals only.
I actually buy Doge and Shiba but I never keep it in my hand for a long time, I immediately sell them once the price just shooting up. Kinda be a sort of practicality but as a trader (not an investor) we must be wise enough and take the opportunity where we can generate profit.

But asking which coin will rise in the future? We can see it when Bullrun has come...
3435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype is over, next hype please on: June 17, 2021, 11:16:04 PM

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
None, the hype will happen again in the next Bullrun.
But Maybe, If there is someone like Elon who could shill one of the NFT projects might be possible.

Anyway,
The market price just dumps, time to buy more coins. We don't just focus on NFT projects as their story was done together with the hypes is over. So for now, it was more desirable to invest those potential altcoins for long-term investment. Yeah, we might wait for another 4 years before the new ATH arrives.
3436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 17, 2021, 08:48:11 PM
In my opinion, the main rise in the price of Bitcoin is in the past ...

Yes, the price of Bitcoin can rise from $ 40,000 to $ 400,000.  However, this is only a tenfold increase.  In the past, Bitcoin grew from $ 1 (conditionally) to $ 64,000!

Therefore, it is advisable to spend bitcoin, not hold.  This is money.  Money cannot be taken too seriously.  Otherwise, everyone will call you "stingy knight".

I consider it permissible to use Bitcoin for gambling.

Gambling does not guarantee you winnings.  However, it is possible.  With this money, you will buy even more bitcoins.

I am with you on this one, even if bitcoins would reach 100k USD this year, it would only be a 200% increase, nothing compared to the past rises. Earning money with our bitcoins is probably the only alternative we have right now. We could either stake someone, lend it, or just gamble with it. For me gambling is the only real alternative as I want to keep control over my own coins. If we don't gamble too risky and have a good strategy we can make some money from our coins.

The risk would not change, it will only minimize if you will also minimize your exposure. However, if you are gambling with the intention of growing your bitcoin in gambling, then you are taking a high risk as that means you are in business and you need to win it just like you are trading or investing.
3437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 17, 2021, 08:23:26 PM
... I'm most concern on Joel, it seems that he has aggravated that knee again in the 3rd when he try to go for a block on Trae or Lou's attempt.
That's a possible reason why he stopped attempting to block inside the paint. Trae dropped a lot of points in the 4th while he watches. I thought he was just extremely tired from working a lot in three quarters.

I didn't notice that, he just looked like he was tired because he was the one who is providing a lot in the offense and made good defense as well. Also, the hack on Simmons seems to work a bit on the Hawks, he is really a liability when it comes to free-throw shooting, reason why he was taken out sometimes and that's where the Hawks attack the paint.
3438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 16, 2021, 11:23:10 PM
All you need is to trust yourself and willing to learn as it was the biggest investment before we succeed. Openness is also a factor to reach our goal, we never stop asking to the person we know it could help us and never ashame to share our bad experience maybe could someone helps us to correct our mistakes.

And there is one thing you should remember, learn how to control your emotions. Don't let this controls you otherwise, you will only just fail and lose everything you have started.
3439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 16, 2021, 10:47:11 PM
The dump, the crash, market correction...what else?
These are not things to consider and think that Bitcoin will dump. Think that from $58k down to $38K, we are still from $0. If you can remember what happens before where Bitcoin drops from $20k to $4k? And yet, we are still alive and even it grows more.

You will say it die over the summer? Nothing can tell the future of Bitcoin, it was unpredictable.
It dies only when we all die.

Recently, the price of bitcoin has dropped by almost 1/3.  The beginning of May is 58 thousand, now it is already 38 thousand. The chart is steadily falling down.  Will Bitcoin die in the summer? Cheesy

Yes it will die. It will go down to zero. You better sell all your BTCs right now and give them to the whales and Elon Musk. You will be safe with FIAT. Sell everything now, just do it.
I know what you mean.
There is nothing we can do for these weak hands but to encourage them to sell so stop them thinking about Bitcoin and just to leave after it sold.
3440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best strategy to stay anonymous with crypto? on: June 16, 2021, 10:21:16 PM
From privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies like Monero and Grin, to mixers, there's always a way to achieve anonymization on crypto land. Some privacy techniques are complicated to understand for the non-tech savvy person, though. Despite the tools available to obfuscate sensitive transactions, there's no method that's proven 100% effective. If you're careless enough about covering your tracks, you'll eventually get caught by governments or other third-parties.

That said, I'm wondering which is the best strategy to stay anonymous with crypto? Will using a VPN + TOR + Monero do the trick? Or is it best to acquire a privacy coin like Monero completely off-chain (in person)? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Smiley
I'm not sure as well how long this anonymous feature that crypto had coz most exchanges are already asking KYC and we can hide anymore someday. Using a crypto mixer is the best option for now but I'm not sure if it still works in the future. maybe we can hide our wallet address but something difficult when it talks about personal identity.

And it might add more problems when the government takes control of the market as we have no longer escaped and keeping anonymous.
