2581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 26, 2022, 02:54:59 PM
There has been so many YouTube influencers and other folks predicting to buy certain altcoins for huge profit and once the Bitcoin dropped down thus send a shockwave across altcoins we don't see people or influencer coming up with their favorite list of altcoins with the kind of confidence which they showed when market was green.

This is the right time to pick invest into altcoins which didn't got expected pump during the bullrun yet posses the potential, I want you guys to share your opinion on altcoins which we should invest.

Though I am not a big fan of XRP but I would prefer XRP and ADA to invest now at dip. 70% investment would be into ADA and 30% into XRP.

Even I am trying to accumulate more ADA these days. I have just started the accumulation of ADA and so far I have 120 ADA in my bag.
I am not really sure but how much ADA do you guys think one should have in order to gain potential profits in the long term.
I still think XRP is a shit coin and won't invest in it ever. I would rather hold stable coins like USDC than invest in XRP.
Ever since ADA is out of my list. I don't have the trust of this project because I was a victim of its failure and was given no chance to recover my investment. It is the best decision to find another one but not XRP as well.
Why not consider the know altcoins like ETH and BNB. They are leading altcoins in the market and that seems promising in the real thing. Or, to have some luck in the metaverse projects as they are just about to start and ride on the possible hyped.
2582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 26, 2022, 02:05:22 PM
Looks like the 1st month of the year is a bearish month. The fear of some is already here, bitcoin dumped below $40k and we don't know if it will continue to dump, if the market is bearish, then most likely the trend will continue as there will be a correction after a bull run we enjoyed. Keep that patience, buy the dip and hold when the market is not good, besides, these are just temporary.
I also saw that this was only temporary and I am still holding onto my assets to this day because I also don't want to be in a loss just because I panicked and couldn't wait, even though in the past I have used money in the right direction, and that's for sure I wouldn't just throw it away either.

I also still maintain it until now and do not want to waste money just like that because I believe when everything returns to normal, our profits will also be there.
Until now I have not panicked and am still patient even though now many of them have panicked.
all will return to normal and this is a common situation in the course of the market. there's no way the graphics are improving and in good shape. There are times when everything can change in an instant. it is possible that once this is over, BTC will hit a new ATH again this year.
Kinda be understandable that the market is not manipulated that most people think of it. We're getting back slowly and I think this will be the mark for another big market rally.

I'd certainly look for that moment but in the meantime, buying more Bitcoin is the best thing to do while the price is still low. For those who are planning to invest crypto, this could be the right moment. We neither have to miss this opportunity as there is no coming back.
2583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: January 25, 2022, 02:54:50 PM
They are not old IMO, they can still give an entertaining fight.

As I go through their record in the OP, I notice that both lose to Crawford via TKO, so these boxers are weak IMO and whoever wins here will never have a chance to beat a champion in Welterweight.

I don't know what boxer should I back, but I think I'll go with the underdog as it has attractive odds.
2584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My take on the market on: January 25, 2022, 02:20:01 PM

I believe that the market will not go down beyond $30k, for short traders who bought Bitcoin at the dip for sure they're happy to see their profit now while the earlier investors still hoarding their assets.

Perhaps, it was a happy moment to see that Bitcoin is going back to high again. I thought it drops more as it reaches $33k, it looks like it wasn't the time for the market to be at that bearish season, I think not this year.
I guess some people are celebrating right now seeing growth on their portfolio, I'm on it...

So my take on the market is that we can't predict the trend, nor are we able to see what happens next but instead, it remains unpredictable no matter what we do (TA's, chart reading, etc...)
2585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eTH gas trouble on: January 25, 2022, 01:40:34 PM
Yes, it can't be tricked if the transaction is the Ethereum (ETH) network. Almost all coins experience a drop in price including Ethereum and gas fees while Ethereum transactions are still high wherever or whatever type of swap is being made.
Now the Ethereum price position has started there is a slight improvement in the market but the position of Gas transaction fees is still the same and tends to increase so there is no stable word in terms of Ethereum transaction Gas fees for now.
Yeah, as the price drops I was thinking that ETH fees drop also but it was unfortunate to see nothing had changed as it remains high. That I guess, ETH gas fee has a fewer chance to drop, not anymore. That gives us no choice but to use other platforms that fees are considerably cheap and affordable.

I'm now in the use of BSC and XRP to transfer my coins to my personal wallet from the exchanger and you know what, I save more compared to using directly ETH. So I guess, it doesn't give us worries as we still have other options.
2586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 22, 2022, 09:14:29 PM

Thurman has the tools to beat Barrios, no question about it, that's why majority of us here is favouring Thurman to win. But what makes this fight interesting is the whole statement of Thurman that this could serve as a title eliminator and winner takes the winner of Spence vs Ugas. So for sure, many are hype and going to watch and see how Thurman is, if he still has the power to become a champion again.
when compared to Barrios, of course, it will still be very superior to Thurman in terms of technique, speed and strength.
but even so that doesn't mean we can ignore barrios for granted.
he has a strong desire in this and I have never doubted his determination to fight.
the winner will still be Thurman's but Barrios will definitely put up a pretty good fight
That's definitely what we like to see, a good fight will turn people's attention to this fight. Although it's not a championship fight, showing a great fight is necessary as the winner here will always be up for a bigger fight or a shot for a championship fight if possible.

Thurman is my choice as well, and I have a feeling that he will win convincingly, whether through stoppage or through judges scorecards.
2587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 22, 2022, 08:50:04 PM

IATF will surely approve it as long as it follows all the guidelines since it already happened before and maybe PBA will choose to play outside NCR again which gives them a higher chance of approval.
Of course, it's possible, however, the PBA will weight first the expenses they'll incur again before making a decision. They are giving some hint based on the news I read, so I'm optimistic they'll return soon in bubble set up.

Let’s hope for a better case of covid next month and I’m confident that numbers will slowly go down again because we all know, elections is coming.
I'm curious by your statement, what's the relationship with the upcoming election on the decreasing of covid cases?
2588  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Deep before the Raise on: January 22, 2022, 07:41:17 PM
The current decrease in the price of bitcoin can be attributed to the important drop in the stock markets, now some people may think that this is a sign of failure as bitcoin was supposed to run contrary to the stock markets and act as a store of value and go up when those markets go down, however since people that are invested in stock are now also investing in bitcoin this means that when the stock market crashes they sell their bitcoin to cover their losses making bitcoin to crash in the process as well.
I think this is now a tradition for bitcoin we have seen this types of occurrence over the years in the past, it is no longer new. What it takes is only patience to hold on because after the dip bitcoin will certainly rise and it is even possible to hit all time high this year. Patience is the key, you just have to keep holding on till the bullish season.

At the same time, bitcoin holders who have been holding since 2013 or 2017, might not be worrying about the current down trend of bitcoin market. The biggest doubt now is, whether bitcoin will hit $100k or not within this year. I guess bitcoin still got chance to set a new ATH around $100k levels.
Holding is the only way I can see that could save us from getting into huge losses but of course, they still have their choice either to sell or hold.

For every dip to see, we could always remember for the past and we'd sometimes think that history repeats again (and again). We can't just hold into this situation and whether we like it or not, dumps can be expected as well. I'm not going to say this is manipulated, we neither blame whales nor any intentity but we rather think that the time has come for the bear season.
2589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 22, 2022, 07:21:18 PM
I am wondering is it truly possible that my BTC works for me , without revealing my private keys and also without KYC ?
I have read and heard about similar things but they seem more like a Ponzi scheme.
Does anybody have any experience with a non-custodia platform/wallet /swap which does not require KYC but supports BTC ?
Yes, it is very possible. Often times we heard phrases like let money work for you, that means investing or something you put money onto something and then you earn a passive income, there is also no difference with that if we are talking about bitcoin because bitcoin is also money anyway  but there should not be revelations of private keys, passwords and other sensitive details because that is a sure fire way that you will loose your btc's or will only  get scammed but for the kyc part?

That it makes difference in Bitcoin compared to fiat as in crypto, when you handed out your keys/password to other people like lending and staking, any chance that this person will not pay you back, you no longer get back your Bitcoin. It finds so hard to force these borrowers, these exchangers if they will scam you due to their anonymity.

That is why only a few people had done this in Bitcoin, as to make a claim because they got scammed and lose their Bitcoin is hopeless. We'd rather just hold or even do a trade is the best choice to grow our money.
2590  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to find a promising projects? on: January 22, 2022, 03:18:23 PM
You can do your own research but I personally get good opinions from users and investors here. Most reviews about trusted projects and suggestions here are reliable. Before investing, you can also check the reputation of the project's developer so you would have an idea if it would be handled well in a long run.
*team support
*legitimacy of the project
*use-case

These are the things I use to check as we know how tricky is the market and even are to care about doing research sometimes we've got wrong and fall into them. So investing doesn't need to be rushed, it should be in time and been in thorough research, or else, we just waste our money and time on shit projects.
2591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man lost everything to Crypto on: January 22, 2022, 01:51:53 PM
In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins.

He says trading is gambling. He has learnt by his own and has always been a good trader. Now he spends day in one of the rehabilitation centre in Scotland.

Data : Man Lost Everything to Crypto
If he knows what he does, he ain't got addicted in the first place but too sad to let his addiction fool him and that's it, it ruins everything he has, the good life and money.

I'm not sure if that person is able to change his approach towards trading. Might he was right that it was like gambling, but that seems different when if you just relying on luck which gambling have than trading which requires knowledge and skill.

Honestly, he got it wrong and mismanaged his funds plus his emotions which I think was the main reason for his failure, he can't call himself a good trader.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 22, 2022, 01:18:10 PM
Let's lay low a bit on betting the Warriors, they cannot be trusted these days, it started with KT back in the lineup, their chemistry has been change. They won the game but it was a close one, if not because of Curry's game-winning shot, that game could have went to OT and they might lose again.
They need some time to make an adjustment, I think this game KT did not play, and yet they could not dominate the Rockets. Curry is still the leader of the team, despite he struggles in his past games that resulted in a loss of the Warriors, but it's been a great win by the Warriors here and I think they'll start winning again.

How about the Lakers, did anyone bet on them last night?
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 22, 2022, 12:36:35 PM
But this time, he won't allow a struggling team like the Rockets to beat them on their floor. And what a step back, it really creates separation and he knows that he is going to make the shot the moment he releases it.

There's no pressure after all. If he missed that shot, the game will go into overtime. Still has a chance for him to make a comeback even in a bad form.

Warriors starters are almost contributed well but the Rockets are able to hang up. Jalen Green only has 3 points out from playing 25 minutes but still, they make it a close game. I wonder what's the odds for the Rockets' handicap. They bag good profits from betting on it. Shocked

No pressure at all, that's a clean step back that separates the defender and an inside the arc shot from Steph Curry. What else do we expect? That's a high percentage shot for him lol.

The cover is actually quite enticing for +11.5 considering the Rockets sits at the bottom from the West. However, the Rockets were playing good even with Jalen not scoring that much.

Jalen Green is not consistent, when he was out for awhile, the Rockets played better so he is not a big deal for the team IMO although he is hype as he is the top favorite to win the ROY. The step back is hard but it was Curry, if he can make shots from a long distance, that one is sure easy for him, maybe next time put a big defender on him.
2594  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What stopped you from starting crypto earlier??? on: January 22, 2022, 11:43:41 AM

I cannot regret not starting it earlier because I had no idea on how it works.
We all have started with no idea about Bitcoin and are totally empty but because of our curiosity as seeing it pop-up online, this brings us to diggings and found it precious. At first, we are too doubtful about the credibility of this, we hear many rumors and negative speculations about Bitcoin. However, we face those negative things and still trying to know more, and the good thing is that, knowing about Bitcoin is a blessing that many people continue to ignore.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying during this dip? on: January 22, 2022, 08:48:56 AM
Bitcoin and ethereum is what I'm sure I can buy during dip , I am so addicted to this coins because they are reliable and I do have rest of mind whenever I have it with me.. to me I believe this two coins are the most profitable ones for now I need to invest on. BNB can be the next I also believe in it too.
No doubt of them, in fact, it was the top choice and priority of investors. But, I'd never just stop there, many altcoins are worth investing in as well ( not meme coins). Solana and Polkadot are also in my whitelist, I'll be buying soon if the market continues to drop. But we have to manage our investment so well, I give more budget purchasing BTC while having small allocations to altcoins as we know that Bitcoin is more profitable compared to them.

I hope this plan will work and I know it was since I was doing this before and the results are good.
2596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 22, 2022, 08:17:46 AM
Do you have any favorite superstitions when trading crypto...

The only superstition for a trader should be a ban on opening short trades in a bull market and, accordingly, long trades in a bear market, if you are a long-term investor. All other superstitions will not bring you any profit or loss, since they are just superstitions.
Again it all depends on each trader because after all they must have their own beliefs,
if a trader is superstitious I think there is nothing wrong with that and they are definitely responsible for it
Nothing had made it wrong, some just consider them as a lucky charm or a sign to have a good trade. But for us who never believe this, we don't think it was important. But in general, we always rely upon ourselves and strategies as this will only give us a chance to make a profit, otherwise, knowing beliefs and trust in them aren't that special.

As I was going to trade, I don't even wear any lucky charm or anything that might give us luck, what I did is to trust myself and TA.
2597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 21, 2022, 11:51:03 PM
Hi crew. Hope you are all well in new 2022. Good moment to buy btc or eth?
Well, I'm just fine despite the downtrend. I hope you do well as well.

Anyways, you've got in time to look for investment since the market is going down. I suggest making a buy option now as the price is a little bit cheap. BTC or ETH? if you have a huge amount to start, better take the two but if not, you better consider Bitcoin first. Perhaps, I did already and I'll buy more if Bitcoin will drop more, just the old days. The bigger amount we invest the bigger returns to expect.
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The faith of Altcoins in 2022 on: January 21, 2022, 11:26:13 PM
the crypto market at the beginning of 2022 was down maybe because many people flocked to Nft and Metaverse so that the volume in crypto decreased but I think this is only because nft and metaverse are trending everywhere so many people want to get into in it,
Until now I still believe the altcoin market will rise again.
if you see NFT's are in the dump as well, that can happen to Metaverse.
I don't blame or even point out what is the reason but I feel like it was the time to face the bearish season as we are done with the long bullish season. I hope I could be wrong and Bitcoin gives us some sign for the recovery but for now, dumps still continue. But, we stay strong, we have been this before so it probably we already know what to do. If we never sell our coins, the bigger chance that it helps to hold the price from falling. That is why we have to give our trust and don't get panic or even think negatively, we'll just enjoy other stuff to help us ease.
2599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: January 21, 2022, 11:05:18 PM
Good luck to your portfolio if you plan to hodl all the way. I hope you have enough cash so you won't have to sell at a loss when most crypto dips even more. All the better if you have a fix source of income since I think many of us will be tested in the next few months or maybe until next year.
It finds difficult if we are just relying on crypto alone but I guess, OP had another source of income that make him decide to hold instead of selling. Besides, holding is the only way to save you from getting into losses and anyone can do. Then to ask you, what are you gonna do now? Are you selling?

If people had the capability to invest, they're for sure they can also hold, that is what I think. And to guess what, you are doing the same to OP. Selling is just an option to take for those who are in panic but we keep that feeling and so decided to just hold.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 21, 2022, 09:49:08 PM

Short to say, he is fearless. He is not afraid to go to the enemy's place and beat them. Here, there is no such thing as a home-court advantage for him, (sorry basketball term) because he is going to fight anyone anywhere, just like what he said to Inoue when he challenge him to fight him.

He is and it doesn't who he will face as long as he will get a big fight and prove to the world that he deserves some big money in a fight. He has been chasing for Inoue but he wasn't given an opportunity yet, a suppose to be unification fight is good to witness but now he is just fighting to defend his title against a challenger that could not bring him the money that he is expecting, but he has no choice.

He has no choice or else they will strip the belt. Just one fight (this one), and Casimero can start to trash talk Inoue again until the beast will finally agrees to fight with him, it's the biggest fight in the bantam weight division and that will be a big treat for the fans. I don't understand why Inoue keeps dodging Casimero.
Because Casimero might land the first loss for Inoue since he is an aggressive boxer so its too risky for Inoue to accept the trash talk and go fight with Casimero easily. Well, Casimero has to defend his belt first before we talk about Inoue since this should be settle already, I hope to see Casimero in the ring again dominating the whole fight.
Inoue is not the one to decide for sure, his team and manager knows what’s best for him and we have to respect that. If Casimero really wants to fight Inoue, better to win on every fight instead of trash talking, well he is known by his words but it can’t help his career that much. If he will fight Butler as ordered by WBO, he should be more active and win via KO so he can have a huge chance to fight Inoue.
When we refer to Inoue, that includes his entire team who is running his career as a boxer. Actually, you don't have to worry about Casimero despite being a trash talker, he is also a great boxer who never says no to any challenge, in fact, he is the one who is always challenging and has not read that someone has challenged him.

Donaire said no.
Inoue said no.

See, how dangerous he is.
