2622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 15, 2022, 08:43:46 PM
Klay Thompson is still in a full recovery phase and the coach didn't prefer him in the Chicago Bulls game last night. But Golden State Warriors still managed to win the game that's the important point. And they had a huge point gap at the end too. Despite Curry's inadequate performance, they still made it and this is a very important point also. Because they need to play as a team strongly as much as possible. Curry or Thompson can't carry the team all the time in the end.

It was the second game of a back to back and they said klay won't be playing 2 games in a row without rest.  No point killing him right when he gets back.  Getting back into game shape is a real thing and will take a little bit for him to play starter minutes.  Dude was put for 2 years from some pretty dramatic injuries.

That's just the right decision, that's probably what we called a popular "load management" and it's acceptable compared to other players who are just using it to rest even if they are fully healthy. The decision of the Warriors is good because it resulted in a big win by the Warriors.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 15, 2022, 07:59:02 PM
I guess the PBA should be aware that the MPBL is improving, if they'll not improve then probably one day they'll be surprised that MPBL will be the top basketball league in the Philippines. It doesn't matter if PBA is controlled by the reach persons in the Philippines, what matters is what league the fans will support.
As long as the top teams are there, SMC and MVP teams, they're not going to be alarmed. They don't listen to their fans and they'll just keep going on no matter what the threat is within the league. We're really going to see the new leagues going up as MPBL became now a pro league, the players have a lot of place to go aside from going abroad with B League, there's now the MPBL and AFAIK, there's also the Filbasket but it's still quite new.

PBA won't really last that long given the fact that they're more interested in making money rather than hearing what the teams/players needs and the fans voices, also PBA is obviously deteriorating inside and out and surely they can't deny that fact, that's why there's lots of other competitors now emerges like MPBL and FilBasket with hopes that they can give more chance to the talented local people who aspires to be a basketball star and play in the professional leagues.

They lasted this long so I think they'll survive, however, with good competition, their quality will deteriorate if they will not make an adjustment. The completion now is tougher because overseas teams are also expected in getting the best players in the PBA with a very tempting salary.
2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 15, 2022, 07:40:32 PM
It's been cleared already, the fact that the WBO did not strip his title, that clearly tells that his excuse is valid to postpone the fight and give him another opportunity to defend his title. So sad that some people are still speculating despite the fact that the issue are alraedy cleared.
Yeah, we should stop speculating as this fight will happen, it's not canceled but only postponed.

Casimero is still the favorite and I think he will still win this fight and the bookies won't be wrong of making him the high favorite to win the fight.
It's the first time I saw some people's reaction about doubting Casimero, but I'm sure he will prove that he deserved to be a champion and to have a chance to challenge Inoue in a unification fight.
2625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: January 15, 2022, 07:19:22 PM
I don't know, but it seems that Canelo has close the door already, he will be going up in weight as CW and that is too much for GGG right now who campaigns at 160 lbs. So I already forget about that idea of another fight between the two.

And as you have said, GGG is already 40 and we don't know how many fight is left in him. Maybe against Murata this year and another one perhaps before the end of the year.
I agree, the door for a possible trilogy against Canelo is complete closed and it is never going to happen with Canelo moving to the CW division, also many people saw GGG win at least one of those fights so I doubt that Canelo is going to want to fight against GGG despite his age.

And talking about his age, what is happening with the pandemic is something terrible for people like GGG, which are at the end of their careers and saw their careers interrupted with no opportunity to get all the time they lost back.

It's hard to imagine that the pandemic has been staying for too long, though it interrupts the sporting industry I'm still hoping soon our life will be back to normal and we will see GGG retiring after a good fight. Though it's unlikely to happen a GGG vs Canelo trilogy, we will still remain hopeful because it was one of the greatest matches up we saw in boxing history, two great warriors sparring in the ring like they are not afraid of each other.
2626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: January 15, 2022, 03:53:35 PM
Looking for x10 altcoins is just a fail and I think we know why.
The market is still unpredictable, it can be hard to see what will happen next and much more seeing what projects will be multifold increase aside from the leading coins.

On the off chance that you didn't equal the initial investment, we are looking at losing such a lot of cash on your underlying speculation that your SLP profit wouldn't be enough as of now. I figure it will be hard to see that there are many better NFT game contenders and the consuming of tokens to expand costs up to this point has not worked.
It is quite to see the huge incline growth of SLP as NFT's hits the market so big but looking at it now, it can be sad to see how it drop like other altcoins. It wasn't the NFT with look for and definitely, right. We can invest in other coins that are more potentials than these hyped coins as it was sustaining.
2627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin run up is coming on: January 15, 2022, 01:59:30 PM
Many of us understand that the price of Bitcoin will go up but many of us cannot afford to buy more. Again, the speed of the market is often hostile. The market has suffered a lot at the time when we thought that the market could cross $100k in the middle of this year. There are many blue whales who want to come together and control the market. But general investors do not do anything. But since the market is starting to get out of a bad situation, we will naturally see an improvement.
It will come, that was for sure. It is just we need to extend our patience and keep positive for the incoming. Maybe, these blue whales could help it out and push the market to bullish again, I was on that hope and looking forward to being happened. What I see for now is the sun going to shine again, after in troubled we got to see the sun back to its light again. I think we are even more thankful how holders keep their coins intact than selling them off last year.
2628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not experience blood bath on: January 15, 2022, 12:46:42 PM
and I think the current decline is enough for bitcoin and hopefully bitcoin will rise again and maybe you can buy bitcoin at this time or wait for the bitcoin market to correct a little more.

It will eventually rise up, that's why people should start to save up right now or risk losing potential profit because they didn't bought bitcoin at it's lowest. And I agree that there's no blood bath for bitcoin this year because as IMF has said, crypto has grown already and it's not going to repeat the same pattern.
A bloodbath can be happening in the market soon, but not this time. it was a sudden talk by many that we face a huge dip during the Christmas season, but we have seen is just a short correction, not totally a bloodbath curse. But now, we are in the recovery stage, Bitcoin did show an uptrend motion and we believe this will be the beginning of the bullish season. I'm not going to expect the same pattern, but at least the market price turns good for now and I think it improves more in the coming days.
2629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pakistani Central banks wants to ban crypto on: January 15, 2022, 12:22:49 PM
I wouldn't worry too much about East Asian regions banning bitcoin or crypto in general because there's not that much change that they can create in the market even if they do, India has been having an ban and unban status with bitcoin and crypto for awhile now and so far, there's not much that has change when they do this so I don't worry that Pakistan joins the fray.
Perhaps, we don't need to worry about it, they are just small market players, if they will leave and ban crypto this never have a huge impact on the market, we never felt it in general.

Anyways, we can't expect that all countries will adopt crypto, some will remain doubtful about Bitcoin. But I'm going to say that sooner they will realize that crypto has played an important role in this new era which could change their approach to crypto and embrace the system. It can be just now as they don't understand about this, they'll ask for some time to think about it.
2630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accept crypto payments on: January 15, 2022, 11:42:33 AM
Nothing will change though, Dogecoin will still be a meme coins no matter who is going to endorse it even if it will be Elon Musk himself. For one, crypto investors is done with Elon, for manipulating the price and what is his real narrative behind. Second, we are already in a bear market, so even if they are going to accept it, there will be no pump unless it will be coming from a p&d group. But we all know that it will be just temporary and they are just going to make money out of noobs investors.
He did once, and he did again? I suppose to think that people had learned already from what he did before. I'm not thinking he would like to help us and promote crypto by announcing their(his) company will accept crypto, there might be another reason behind that move. I hope I was wrong but it is likely he wanted to manipulate the market as well through shilling Dogecoin again.

Well, perhaps it was another try, and he never wins again. I wish he doesn't mention again accepting Crypto like Dogecoin as people (many) will only give doubt, not support.

2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Is The Safest Meme Coin To Invest In? on: January 14, 2022, 11:00:02 PM
Which one? I'd never find any OP. Tried not to be fooled by someone who tells you that meme coins are a safe investment because even the known Bitcoin is not safe.

Since Shiba Inu and Doge coin are too popular among other meme coins, I believe that it's good to invest with them yet there's no guarantee that they could provide safety because of the given fact that they're just memes coins. If I were you, instead of risking in meme coins, it would be better to invest your funds in reputable and well-established coins.
yeah, you're right and these two coins are the only meme coins I know that leaves us no choice. Well, they are also profiting which we can't deny, and also have a working product but the problem is that we can't assure that these coins will be profitable in the long run. If we are in the look for long-term investment, we better not consider them, we'd rather choice BTC or the leading coins for that.
2633  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 14, 2022, 10:01:57 PM
As having this crisis and covid-19 still exists, that always be a threat to the economic system of the government. Of course, if we keep this fear inside, we can't move on. That is why we should have to fight this feeling and become strong and have to win this, we soon surpass this situation. But what I see on the market trend, it is making good and recovering which means that people still have their support and hold their crypto rather than selling because of the existing new covid variant.

I find this not a threat anymore and I foresee a continuous recovery in the coming months.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 14, 2022, 01:08:59 PM
Almost all of the crypto casinos have disputes, however, we have no way to verify if all the accusations are true. I think it's just common as even the most popular exchange in the space have some complaints or scam accusation, and even in the fiat world, no gambling site is perfect, gamblers can always find a flows and that's what they are complaining for.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 14, 2022, 12:25:32 PM
It's possible that Casimero will lose, but based on the betting odds, he will likely win this fight as he is a heavy favorite. Butler considers this fight as a big fight that he has to win, so both fighters really want to win as this is their ticket to fight Inoue who is probably waiting for a unification fight.
Yes, he's the favorite of the crowd and that's why odds are obvious on him. But true to that, that, it's still possible for him to lose.
It's still unknown whether Casimero wins, Inoue is going to say yes and his team for the match that was once delayed and should be for the both of them. There's no answer yet if he's still interested in fighting him.
I would doubt Inoue's team will really say yes, I still have doubts until now because prior to this fight Casimero was already challenging Inoue but they didn't make a final decision, he was just responding but no signing of contract, that's why I have doubt man. you can't blame me.
If they will push this through, I still see Casimero to win the fight and that could be a great way for him to challenge Inoue, though for some medical reason this match was postponed right? Hoping that they can finally settle this since Casimero is slowly losing his fans because of the current situation. If its just a pure trash talk, I don’t think Casimero vs Inoue will push through as well, better to sign the contract now.

There's no health issue happened and the cancellation of the fight is due to Casimero didn't catch the required weight to make the fight happen so I guess Casimero failed to do his part to make this fight happen that's why maybe its almost impossible for this to be done by them. But if their management will try to fix this then provably they could find ways to continue this match up and if Casimero win then this is his great ticket to challenge Inoue.

There was as reported, and we can't say he didn't catch the required weight because he does not show up.

here's the story.
Quote
Johnriel Casimero was unable to make it to the official weigh-in on Friday, December 10, and was stricken out of his World Boxing Organization bantamweight title defense against Paul Butler of England in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

People who said that he failed to catch the require weight are just speculating.
2636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots on: January 13, 2022, 11:25:26 PM
One of the flaws of trading bots is that they are only as good as your code, meaning that even if you have great instincts about the market and how to trade it if you cannot put this knowledge into the bot with your code then your bot will always be a lesser version of yourself, also we need to remember that many times when you code you make mistakes and bugs could be in the code, now most of the time this is not really a problem but it becomes a huge one when we are talking about a piece of software using your savings to trade the markets.
Yes, trading bots are simply programming codes and even it is not having any bugs, we cannot expect it to remain versatile to handle all kind of market fluctuations and keep getting you profits. So, technically trading bots are having very limited probability to get us profits still the losses could be unlimited (if there is a guarantee about limited profits but zero losses then we can still go for bots Wink).

It has been stated by many traders who had long experiences with trading bots that manual trading is multifold better than bots on all kind of market situations.
This means that traders are preferred to do trading manually than having these machines. As with this kind of market situation, bots can't perform that much as we can do personally, they are just following commands and they will keep that command until someone will change it.

Although I didn't fully know about trading bots as I just used them once and based on my experience, that can't be reliable. It is better to do trading manually as our chances to gain profit can be unlimited and we also learn more which is very important.
2637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin achievement on: January 13, 2022, 10:56:10 PM
It is to believe that many people here have made huge achievements in their life, they are just quiet and not talking it publicly.

That is really amazing to see OP show his achievement, congratulations. Maybe I could make that soon, building my own house. But for now, I was focusing on the little business I have, this is still because of crypto. I consider this just a small achievement but I believe that this will grow and help me to achieve more in the future.
2638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 13, 2022, 11:42:53 AM
In the Philippines the minimum wage was not even Php 1k per day in 8 hours or work.  Grin
This is one of the reasons why I don't want to work in the Capital City of PH which is Metro Manila.
The cost of living there is very high compare to the salary you are getting. If you only have one source of income in the family and you are only earning minimum wage which is more or less 10$ per day then it will not be enough. This depends of course in some factors like how thrifty the family is or how good they are in terms of budgeting their money or how can they add another income source to sustain their everyday lives.

As for me, I'd choose to stay in our province rather than living in the city. The cost of living is lower compare to a city though the salary is lower. There are many ways to earn online right now so income source isn't a problem at least for me. I just hope that there would be a bit of a salary increase after the 2022 Elections.

Business is the solution to this problem, we will never be contented with what we earn because our lifestyle will also change and that means our budget will increase as well. As for the players, they are making good salary but if they don't know how to manage their funds, they'll end up bankrupt. I admire those who retired from PBA and after retirement they focus on their business, they are the right model to be followed.
2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 13, 2022, 11:11:32 AM
The Lakers losing to the Kings is shameful...  I'm on board with Frank Vogel (one of my favorite coaches) being fired at the all star break.  It's clear his system is not working and he's horrible at managing his talent.  Another great outing by Dwight Howard in extremely limited minutes...  He made all 3 of his shots, was sent to the line 4 times, and grabbed 7 rebounds in under 15 minutes along with having a +/- of +9 in the loss.  It's crazy he's not getting ~30 minutes a night the way he's been playing.  Vogel has got to go.  The talent is there.  If they aren't going to trade Westbrook and AD immediately, they need to dump Vogel.

I thought that the Lakers are going to win this one against the Kings, I mean they should so I would agree that it's a shameful that after a 5 winning streak, they are back in the losing end again. Hard to really pinpoint what is the issue but it could be the Vogel is no longer the coach that is suited for the Lakers because of so many superstars and he don't know who and how to rotate them and still presses with the old process of going with Westbrook when he is committing a lot of TO.

I think folks should just accept that Lakers are not winning the Championship this season. What the lakers should be doing is playing awesome defense and slowing the game down so they can win in the half court. Lebron's offense for another day is elite and his defense for another day is very bad. And you can't blame him of course, he is playing the right way because he can't give you his energy for defense and then can't be elite offenser. Defense takes away a lot from you, much more from anything in the floor. That's why the bests scorer's aren't good in defense.

They are not getting any younger, if they will not win a championship this season then let's expect that we will not anymore see the same line up next season, and I have a feeling that Westbrook will be traded because he was ineffective with the Lakers uniform.
2640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time to enter the market and buy altcoins? on: January 12, 2022, 02:07:34 PM
Don't ever doubt the market situation as long as your mindset doesn't become instant rich, always use the DCA method, especially in market situations that tend to be bearish and never go all-in if you can't afford to lose your money. there are many altcoins that have the potential to be invested, so start walking and don't be afraid the market will return to normal
Such having strong minds never fail, it gonna be close to success. I think we need to build such kind of attitude and to look the market potentials rather than being worried about the future. it is very likely to see a declining trend of the market and that is really our opportunity instead. But you are right, analysis must be done first before we step forward just to make sure that we are moving on the right path, not the wrong one.

It has to be said that "if we have some guts, why not?"
