2521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 11, 2022, 08:17:22 AM

Good bet, Warriors will win probobly with 15+ points against the Knicks, they are playing at home and with both Curry and Thompson in the match it will be a really deadly attack by them. I think Knicks without Rose are really weak in this match plus Knicks are bad in away games.

Turns out the Warriors was the one who are struggling in the game, that 15+ win did not happen, in fact, they lose this game and they are on their 2 losing streak. On the other hand, Bucks also fall to the Suns (home team) by a huge margin, games last night was really unpredictable, at least on my point of view.

I don't expect the result also, but it is what it is, Warriors though a good team but they also have some struggle and it's part of their struggle losing at home. Well, what's important is they are still a good team and a good team will always bounce back. Next game they'll have more rest but they will be playing in LA against the Clippers, I guess that time they'll win easily.
2522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 11, 2022, 07:36:42 AM
I mean, Casimero still have those speed and strength needed to take down Butler but Casimero's enemy is himself now. Aside from that, IMO Casimero needs a bariatricians or nutritionist to watch him while his training for the fight.

The strength maybe but the speed? I think he is not fast enough, he could not even catch Rigo.  Smiley

I see Casimero successful because of his great timing in the ring, if he maintains his coolness and worth smarter, then for sure he will win the fight, and who knows he can score a knockout that would make people be interested more in him again.

And why would Casimero chase Rigo for his running antics? Lol.
Rigo was surely fast enough but only to outrun Casimero and that's the only thing he can boast because he can't keep up with Casimero if they were to fight very closely, toe-to-toe. He's too obvious that he only wants the money and not to entertain people especially his fans. From that day forth, Rigo was lost his fans from his shameful behaviour.

Prior to the fight, Casimero said that he will knockout Rigo, and Rigo said that would not be possible, and he was right because his strategy was very effective and no boxer could knock out an opponent that will just run in the entire fight, he was good in running but he forget to score, that's why he lose, I'm even surprise that it was a split decision, should be a UD.

KBL x PBA?
This is the most recent news that's just been published today on PBA's website. KBL = Korean Basketball League
This is actually good news although they're still in discussions about a possible partnership in the future. Honestly, this is a good development and this is going to slap those PBA haters that are also saying that they don't want to upgrade.

I read about this first time about 2 weeks ago or less if I'm not mistaken.

I'm still studying the terms of that partnership and what would it cost both parties?

If my understanding is clear, there will be a possible player exchange in the near future? What are the key highlights of the future partnership?

So we will see Koreans to be playing in the PBA, an import maybe? If that would happen, then how would they deal with the salary cap, and for sure those PBA players that will be traded to play in Korea would be happy with their salary and opposite to the Koreans who will play in the PBA, not sure if my understanding is correct though.
2524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 10, 2022, 08:38:08 PM

So, I feel like Lakers made the right choice with what they had in their hands and I would have done the same thing as well. That trade not turning out to be great is a shock to them as well as to us, who would expect Westbrook to suck THIS much this season, I mean maybe not be great and all but not this horrible.

Sorry but I don't think it's the right choice, Westbrook had the numbers, once an MVP but he does not blend with the Lakers, look how they are struggling now, the Lakers were better before the Westbrook trade, so the decision was wrong IMO.
2525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 10, 2022, 02:30:23 PM
Yes, the market has been bullish, but I think this is just the regular bullish of the market that wouldn’t really get the price to any too high price like getting to the point of reaching an all time high price. But this is quite good, especially for those who always have plans of getting in and out within a short term. But for someone who has plans of long term, then the time is not yet right.

The market is doing quite well, and all of us are looking towards further increase in price for now. Although this is not the first time it has done this as of this year and of last year, the price did go from around $30,000 price To over 40K and then it still wrapped back. Let’s see how stable it is going to be now and whether it would continue to push further upwards.
It all be good now, actually. But somehow, many are still thinking about a trap and consider this current situation a curse for them to lose. In fact, I don't see it either. Instead, we gonna see it moving high and reach back to $45k.

Honestly, I was very optimistic about the incoming. Not to say we gonna be in stable movement as volatility is still there but just to give hope that we experience more on the pumps rather than of correction. Whether people are right saying it was a BULL Trap but for me, I'm ready for it as I invest already. Perhaps, we are clueless which give me no worry.
2526  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 10, 2022, 01:53:24 PM
The Reserve Bank of India, Finance Minister and the CBDC were working together towards maintaining the bitcoin regulation and the effect of tax payment by all involved in cryptocurrency activities, with the 30% tax payment, this will help the government boost its impact on the economy as both synergies to gain a mutual benefit as all crypto activities were progressively in operations and the 30% could constitute the government internal generated revenue (IGR] thereby increasing the role and impacts of the government on the economy
not for sure but the government in India and even in the other countries that adopt crypto will certainly consider it as a helping tool to make money and grow their economy. And the way asking for taxes in every holders is a wise move. However, that it makes sad is that 30% is quite big enough especially for small investors and those who are just about to start.  I think, 20% is favorable and acceptable to the majority.

And I think the government must have to look also the current situation where many are still struggling hard to recover and make a good living. This is not the perfect time to push it but rather to spare some time when we totoally get back to normal.

2528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you make money from meme coins? on: February 09, 2022, 02:05:10 PM
Make money from meme coins is to invest or join the bounties program or airdrops from meme coins, and now many bounties carry the concept of meme coins and in my opinion the opportunity for big profits from meme coins is very large because the price is still cheap compared to ethereum or BNB.
Yes, you can and can collect much of them but never expect that it will give more profits after as it is very likely not.

I'm not going to discourage investing in crypto but having a wrong choice of coins like meme coins will lead you to nothing but just an escape of your money. I hope you don't get mad at me but honestly, these meme coins are literally nothing if we compared them to other projects.

Dogecoin, Shiba Inu? They are just good if we can ride on the hype but we're not, no matter how long we've been waiting these coins won't give you such a good return of investment.
2529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 12:40:24 PM
Los Angeles Lakers - Milwaukee Bucks was the game of the night I think. And as I expected, Bucks were the winning team by a nice gap, 131-116. Giannis was just perfect in this game by scoring 44 points and having 14 rebounds. He was nearly making a triple-double too if he was able to make two more assists. His fascinating effort brought the win to his team here. Lebron was great as always and the general performance of the team was not bad too. But they had not much to do against an in-form team like Bucks.

Game of the night? no, a game of the night is a game that is fun to watch, that game, we know it's the Bucks who dominate the Lakers, it's not competitive in the actual game, only competitive on paper, sorry, I'm disappointed with what the Lakers have been showing so far, seems like they are lost.

I hope they'll give their opponent a good game and they'll win especially against Korea.

Don't miss this big game.
2531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 08, 2022, 02:37:08 PM
I don't think we need to be afraid, if you have enough analytical knowledge, such as important indicators, the bull trap is not a problem, you can still earn at least 10% more in conditions like this. Several channels confirmed that bitcoin broke through resistance one. But it is not certain that the bear market is over.
I don't care if that is a trap coz I believe that investing in the right altcoins is meant to have a good ending story. In fact, we did this in the past years and we become profitable that is why we have no reason to neglect this opportunity, we'd rather take it the same thing we did before.

To see the market trend right now, we could see such a brighter look in the market days from today. Might not be a perfect time to restart but at least we decided to take the risk again.
2532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be like me on: February 08, 2022, 01:56:08 PM
The biggest mistake Ive ever made with crypto was I took a 1200$ loan in 4th quarter of 2021to invest in a meme coin that later tanked down to 70% loss, I was deluded with 100k BTC by December and also the beginning of a bigger altcoin season, I wish I listened to some advices on here instead of relying on some crazy youtubers, my own crypto journey started with huge loss i hope I will make them back some day, if you are new to crypto do not take me step.
Perhaps, no one wants to lose their money but instead, we want to grow it.
I see many people had to commit loans to start their business, their investments. Whiles some had succeeded but some ended up losing their money and in huge debts. I'm not going to say it is a bad choice but comes this is a common scenario who have no money to start. But what I notice is that these people who badly lose their money are impatient people, they are always in a hurry, and have a greedy soul, and make them not able to control their emotions which leads to that sad ends.
2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What high gas fee have cost me on: February 07, 2022, 11:45:41 PM
It's quite unfortunate that after putting much effort and time in promoting some project as a bounty hunter, the token earned stay put in an ERC wallet due to high cost of transactions gas, I believe it's high time ethereum developers find a lasting solution to this problem else many new projects will continue to shun ethereum network and opt for a cheaper and faster network such as BSC, I am pleased that there are other alternative, had it been it's only ethereum network that was available, it would have been a very big challenge for developers.
That was the most common claim of the hunters since last year but somehow, Mr. Vitalik does nothing and even their ETH upgrades don't help. That is why we find another way, but still, we need to spend a few bucks in order to move it into the other exchanges. For me, still wasn't a good option but have to sacrifice or just let it stuck in our wallet until it was die.

Honestly, I become hopeless to see ETH will change it fees and I have no confident that the developers will seriously take action for this.

And I wouldn't be surprise if Ancajas will be the slight favorite. And this could be the another must watch fight for Philippines.
I expect that he will be the favorite, and I also expect that he will win.

Tomorrow we will be in the new month or February 2022, so this means the fight is fast approaching and yet we still have no idea about the betting odds of this fight. Well, I don't know if the information from this site is accurate, but this tells the odds of the favorite sportsbook which I'm sure are going to list this game.

https://www.bettingexpert.com/boxing/fernando-martinez-vs-jerwin-ancajas

I guess we should monitor the top 3 bookies, for sure they'll be the first to list the betting odds. Those are fiat bookies, right? honestly, I don't have an account but I'm hoping we can access the betting odds without opening an account, but a summary of the odds would be enough for us to have an idea of what to wait from out favorite crypto bookies.
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: February 05, 2022, 08:43:58 PM

Also, Thurman’s age and boxing politics might not give him a chance to fight Spencer or Crawford. We should watch Boots Ennis. He might become the new king of welterweight.

If he keeps on winning decisively on the top welterweights then he'll have a chance to fight Spence or Crawford but if we consider the
"style make fights theory" I doubt if he can beat these two boxers, Thurman is already an elite boxer but both Spence and Crawford are on top of their league, in fact, both Spence and Crawford can move up and give those elite boxers in the higher weight division a run for their money.

However, Keith Thurman has a problem. He appears to be cursed forever because of his loss versus Pacman. That was supposed to be his opportunity to become one of the biggest boxing stars in welterweight who would challenge the 2 kings of the division, Spencer and Crawford. But he did not win. I reckon he might only be used by promoters to make younger fighters’ names more popular. There might be an argument that this fight might only be something to make Barrios’ name more popular in welterweight. Barrios was a WBA champion in junior welterweight before the loss to Tank Davis.

That argument may be true, especially when Thurman will be showing  a sign of slowing down of his career and did not recover from a Pacquiao loss.
He have underestimated the power and speed of Pacquiao, with that, you can never become one of the top boxer. He could've played it smart like Ugas did.
Let's just see If really have recovered from his first loss.

After this fight, if he loses, no one will be talking about him, but if he will redeem himself and win impressively, then he will have an opportunity to probably get a fight with either Spence or Crawford, I'm sure that's the reason why he is coming back, he wants to prove to the world that despite his previous loses, he can rise and be at the champions league once again.
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 05, 2022, 08:18:53 PM

Of course, mate. That was being followed.

If it's not, you should see complaints. It's illegal if a team won't follow it.

That's why to compensate the most talented players that contribute much to the team, there's an "under the table" or sort of bonus. Much more of a big reward if the team got a championship.

Not only in the government where corrupt officials do exist Grin I know you get my point hahaha..

But it's for real, salary cap is really needed to be followed under the contract where a player needs to sign. Everything is under the rules

we can't doubt that it's mandatory and required by law. If being bridge, necessary sanction will be implemented.

But, under the table or behind the doors, talks between team management and the player's manager are not under that rule. Anything can

happen when two parties agreed.

No one will sue the team owners that own most of the teams in the NBA. Of course, there's under the table, but it's too obvious that they are violating by essence, you can tell by the kind of players they have and compare it to the weaker teams like Blackwater and Terraferma.
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin will FAIL on: February 05, 2022, 02:10:55 PM
Doge is dead already, i mean elon cannot influence investors again to contribute on their project reason its now very stagnant since before the market crash. Probably its because as well of some emerging and very promising NFTs nowadays especially metaverse reason meme coins is getting weaker..so its quite skeptical now to believe such project will become successful..
Not anymore, as this meme coins Doge will remain meme forever. But then, I was not to think it was a failure as this coin still has a use-case in the market like some traders are used to convert their coins to Doge to save some transactions fees. I actually did this sometimes and that is why I still trust Doge but not in a term of an investment.

However, I'd never think the price of this project will grow like a skyrocket as people already know whos behind this. Investors hate EM and no way to trust this person anymore if he promotes Dogecoin again.
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 05, 2022, 01:19:54 PM
Does this fight will really take place?

Reading some posts around, it's safe to assume that the fight won't happen by 90%. You can ignore this now.

If ever there will be any changes that can lead to making this fight happen for real, you will surely see it circulating on the web.

This should not be a lie.

No, Mike Tyson Is Not Fighting Jake Paul, Representative Says

Legendary boxer Mike Tyson won’t be stepping into the ring with social media star Jake Paul, a representative for the former champion told Forbes, shooting down a rumor sparked by tabloid reports claiming the two were planning a showdown in Las Vegas later this year.

I think this is the latest update of the fight, until there's no positive news, let's call the fight "cancelled", or " not happening"
2539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 05, 2022, 01:06:37 PM
That's the reality, it's all bout the money because no team owner would spend for the team if he will not get something in return, PBA is entertainment but it's a business, they entertain us and at the same time they get something from us. If the brand the teams are representing is not getting the benefit, then most likely the teams will not exist in the PBA anymore.

Every teams should follow the PBA cap salary. The "bonus" is internal transaction and there's a pre-requisite for it and the price is big. We can't just say PBA is entertainment on that case. And the withdrawal of team in the PBA is because they can't sustain anymore the operation, maybe in the core side, not on the expenses of the players salary or what.

But the question is, do they really follow the salary cap? I think the PBA are just tolerating the SMB teams and other big teams in the PBA, for sure they have spend more than the salary cap already as they almost have the best players in the PBA.
2540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: February 05, 2022, 12:34:00 PM
Not everyone has the money to be able to make sure that they're totally safe from hodling, some people can't do that I think unless they have a job to sustain themselves and not rely on their bitcoin then probably there's a possibility that they might be able to do it. Also, wouldn't it be better to at least convert your bitcoin when it's pushing for ATH and then waiting for it to go down again so as to increase what you're currently hodling?
Safe and profit assurance is somewhat we reconsider upon holding but OP did something amazing. He can really make that HOLD thing despite many ATH had come. Not I think that he wants to sell his Bitcoin at a higher price but probably, he is doing this for something much more important than just selling.

Actually, it doesn't matter how long we hold if can manage to sustain our financial needs and if we don't rely upon crypto. And I think OP had and so he did without bothering himselves.
