I believe that this casino will never return using same name , instead they will surely return in other form meaning will create new gambling site to scam people, this kind of site is an organized group of scammers that has been here for long time, i also believe that many of the scam sites here is under same groups of people that operates  crypto gambling.
Possible but they had mentioned out on their announcement that they would comeback or re-open their platform again but who knows if they would be silently creating a new one with other name?

It is true that once a gambling site does have some bad past or reputation then it couldnt be forgotten which its neither they would be trying out to change that impression via giving out second chance
with having that extraordinary offers and promotions or would definitely be creating another one which people arent aware on its history if whether it would belong to the same owner
or not but well everything could be digged on.So  far theyre honest on telling on whats their plan but i doubt that they could get the trust that they had broke up.
That is uncertain but yeah, it was common for us to think and speculate that way. But I hope this time they will change their mind and instead of planning to scam gamblers again, they will return with good motives and build a new reputation otherwise, our thinking is right. The trust can't be easy to rebuild once broken already as surely those bad experiences with them will keep in mind and might it stay forever.

So far, there are no updates coming from them or any hits of their returns. Probably they are silent for not getting noticed by the gamblers and their old clients.

Back to some PBA topics, it's clear now that Alaska will be sold to other companies. The bidding might start anytime from now.

Can't wait who will be the winner.

Do you have any idea which companies are interested in buying the Alaska team? I think it's really necessary that they will be sold so the players will not lose their job, and since the salary of the players is high, then for sure we are talking of big companies here.

honestly, I have no idea on who would be interested to bid.

*Motivation - find a reason why we are here
*Self-confidence - it can be measured base on our decision making

These things could help us to where we should go. Aiming solely for the money isn't be in our mind as this will bother us when we suffer losses. I'd rather think about winning our greediness and ambitious mind as these are the hindrance to reaching our goal. Otherwise, failure is very near to us and mistakes come again and again.
2484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 19, 2022, 01:16:36 PM
Yes he is. I think this tells it will be a fast pace game if more of the bets are on Giannis.
Giannis is more confident now, last season, he won the all-star MVP and won the Finals MVP, I think winning is really easy for him because as long as he gets the ball, he can either dunk it or just drive to the basket, everything is easy for him, so that bet is really good for me.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 19, 2022, 11:47:16 AM
More teams = more competitive. More teams will give more opportunity to other players who are talented. They have a chance to showcase their talents in the league since there are more teams already. Foreign teams might be a sign but I think its more of a good thing at least for some. One thing more is that the league needs this because they already see that the league is dying because of what they are doing. I would love to see more teams playing though.
PBA is moving up to another level, and with that, MPBL will replace them to be pure Filipino talents playing against each other. NBA style, so it's also exciting to watch, people will appreciate it more once it's televised to the popular stations, I hope that will happen soon and we will have our thread here to discuss MPBL.
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 19, 2022, 11:18:44 AM
Is there anyone betting on the slam dunk contest? Seems like a close one between Jalen Green and Obi Tollin. I watched some of their highlights but I'm still undecided. Any input? Other participants are Cole Anthony and Juan Toscano-Anderson.

I also checked the 3-point contest and was surpised Zach Lavine is there. Looks like he still wants more awards and I may bet a little on him.

If I would bet I would not put my money on the heavy favorites, I've seen a lot of underdogs in the past that won surprisingly, so I'm hoping that it will happen again this time so the return of our bet is bigger. For 3 point contest, how about Karl Anthony Towns? his odds to win is 12.

This is fun because no Curry and Thompson, no automatic winner.

Agree on this, Slum dunk competition and 3 points shooting is just for fun event so usually underdog win because they have less pressure since they have nothing to lose unlike heavy favorite players since many people expect a good performance for them. Curry and Thompson is already not participating on this event a long time ago to give way to new players that still don't win a title on this competition since they already prove themselves in terms of 3 point shooting.

Good for that event because if there's Curry and Thompson, you already know the winner, it will only be between the two. These are new faces in the competition, so that means it will be very unpredictable but always bet on your favorite player to win to enjoy watching the event.
2487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a way to actually get to know the real price of Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2022, 10:57:23 AM
In the first place, what is the reason for the OP to know the real price of Bitcoin? Because as we all know, you can't get exact of it since there are a lot of exchanges now or depends on people how much they are selling their Bitcoin.

Another thing is I am curious about some websites like coinmarketcap or coingecko, since these websites are one of the ways to check the price of any cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin, are these websites used to get the average price of exchanges then the price they will display on their site is the average or what?

He wants to determine his imaginary price of Bitcoin without the use of exchange which is absurd to ask because trading is what gives value to Bitcoin so the only way to determine the price of an asset is through the exchange which is the venue for traders to buy and sell there Bitcoin without using escrow.

CoinMarketCap and Coingecko are price aggregator which they gather all the price on the exchange using the API to automatically updates its record and average all the price to get a more stable price display for Bitcoin.
But with the volatility of the market and abrupt changes, even knowing the real price is way impossible as surely it will change from time to time.
Relying upon CMC and Coingecko to know the real price can't assure that it all be reliable unless you are in the focus to exchange as updates can't be done instantly. It was advisable to use the top exchanger if we want to know how the market works and to be more updated than using CMC.
2488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc and future value on: February 19, 2022, 10:18:47 AM
In the future if you have one btc and it cost 40k.
Then it means in 7-10 years about you dont have one btc
But...you have 40k btc as in the future we dont count value by fiat currency the crypto will be the currency.
Those who got crypto will own everything.
It means with 40k btc you have purache power 40k x 40k=? A lot lambos a lot lands a lot mansions.

Forget about Lambo and mansions as 7-10 years from now you 1BTC isn't enough to have one of them unless you sold your BTC or unless if 1BTC is worth $500k. Well, that sounds impossible, right? I'll just be predicting it reach $200k if the demand will tend to improve as well as the adoption but if not, we can still see it below $100k.

To imagine that 7-10 years from now Bitcoin has become a legal tender is gonna be possible but not all countries will adopt it. So, if you are in a country that accepts Bitcoin, then you're too lucky.
2489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 19, 2022, 08:18:23 AM

I think it's better to be active every day as much as you can and when you stumble upon some good project get more interested... after some time you will have a nice list of projects you are interested in, you will be able to follow them and invest in them! Too much of anything is simply not good!
That seems a little bit challenging as for sure we are not in the market 24/7 waiting for the new projects. It could be sounder normal to hear people want to know what are the new projects to be listed but I don't think this really makes sense knowing them all.

I keep checking on the CMC in order to keep updated but guess what, much information is found to be wrong and unrealistic and sometimes they are deceiving. But it wasn't the best idea to make an investment with these new coins as they are close to the chance of being a scam. We can't be more dependent on them, it is better to see their performance first before investing just to sure that we are in the right investment.
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: February 19, 2022, 07:36:35 AM
Buying maybe $100 is normal, I think they assume all the meme coins will end up being a scam and it won't take long to make a profit. but shiba inu has some resemblance to dogecoin, it's possible that shiba inu is not an ordinary meme.
I hope that you'll think is right as even it was special but knowing it was a meme coin, we can't change the mind of the people to think it was a scam project. Nevertheless, despite that thing, many were still investing them in the hope that they could make some money but too unfortunate as they only got nothing.

Honestly, hearing the name meme coins is really turning my head, but not for the reason to invest, it was to know who is manipulating and promoting this project. We always remember how Elon Musk did and that can be possible if one known and influenced people would try again.
2491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if crypto mining is outlawed ? on: February 18, 2022, 11:54:49 PM
Mining is a business and it will not stop, there are always countries that will accept that people mine in their country. this issue of electricity consumption is a very pointless subject to debate, banks also spend electricity, there are companies that spend a lot of electricity and pollute the environment and little is said about it, some journalists and people of extreme humor continue to speak badly of cryptocurrency mining ignore the damage that other companies are doing

This is propaganda and nothing else, they know that they cannot destroy bitcoin directly so they are doing what they have always done, trying to throw dirt to their enemies, in a way we are lucky that satoshi is still anonymous, because if he was not then I am sure that the media will keep on attacking him, but since they cannot do that then they attack bitcoin saying that is not good for the environment and other lies when in fact bitcoin is incredibly efficient when compared to the banking system.
Rich people, business owners/competitors can influence media services and tell lies for the sake of money. They have nothing to do but to ruin the image of Bitcoin by throwing negative news and pretending that they got scammed.

Well, hearing this story isn't new to us but unfortunately, they won't stop attacking Bitcoin for they are still a loser by looked. No matter what they do, they can't stop crypto and they will fail what they have planned.
2492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just luck on: February 18, 2022, 11:36:59 PM
Is it just luck that I made most of my money from shitcoins and meme coins? While people are hating I always make sure I got in early and I ended up smiling, if you bought shiba at few weeks of release you know what I'm talking about, I do get some big altcoins too but this so called shitcoins gives me the best profits.

It wasn't just a piece of luck.
But you made the right decision of selling them while the price is still high coz if you don't and trying to hold until now, you are in regrets which many people are doing.

I'm not suggesting people not to buy meme coins as it was their choice but just to say that never hold them longer and have to sell them right away if the price spikes. But if we are aiming for long-term investment, this can never be a good choice of coins.
2493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Newbie Needs some help :D on: February 18, 2022, 05:25:28 PM
snip~

Bitcointalk is good forum as guide for beginner or newbie but better joining with telegram channel group discussion where you can ask with your question respond faster, but you need to be careful right now telegram channel group as easy way how many scammer try give solution and help you, example when you got trouble with exchange market from withdrawing or deposit coin then you ask or complaint on telegram market channel, just few second several scammer contact you with give recommendation to help your problem.
Just ask but never trust them as this telegram group is full of scammers, in fact, the majority of the members. If you want to have a clear understanding of crypto and could answer your questions, the best thing to do is to rely upon your own searches and it all be found on the internet. Maybe, if you have a trusted friend, you can directly ask them rather than using a telegram group as you are bringing yourself to risk,
Asking friends who really understand cryptocurrency I think it's a good choice compared to asking in the telegram group,
apart from that, actually we can learn and search on the internet it is very easy to get information,
but even so we also need to be careful and choose a clear and reliable source
Not really bad to snip out various informations whether you do get it from a friend or on internet as long you do make out some verification and proofs via research then you couldnt
really make yourself easily get victimized with false information or mislead with some various things thats why no one beats out on learning up everything via your own
and snip out informations if it needs too so its up to you on how you gonna handle it out.
It couldn't be a problem if you can manage yourself to understand your position but most of the time, these newbies fall into that scammy thing/offers due to some promising talks and offers. While for us who know and have that experience, we can easily make a deal with this, particularly in the telegram group. But for us who will just about to learn, it gonna be best not to try asking in the telegram group as to expect that scammers will target us and make us prey.
2494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A painful loss on: February 18, 2022, 04:11:08 PM
I lost 430$ to a metaverse scam project yesterday, the project looks a lot like a professional job to me, everything was so detailed that you can't easily smell any rug pull, here is the project's website https://markmeta.finance/ but unfortunately it's a scam project, you can buy but you can't sell so here are what I find out

1. The price of this token kept surging and surging, there was no retrace or whatsoever which to me is a red flag, the whole chart was a straight line aiming for the moon.

2. Telegram channel was restricted, no one can make comments or send messages, another red flag that I don't get suspicious over

It's too late already but hope someone learn one or two lessons from this
it was sorry to hear that but sometimes, someone had made some sacrifices to test the credibility of the project and it was you who is unlucky and become one of their victims. Even though we are too careful in choosing projects to invest in, doing research, and everything we do just to be sure that we are in the right investment. But somehow, some scam projects are also able to show that they are reliable and they gain trust from us until such time that we surprisingly found out that they are living us and scamming us.
2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: February 18, 2022, 03:44:10 PM

IEO and IDO can be the right investment choices if it's a new project, not an old project that is in the top 50 marketcap. And it's true to make up to 10x profit through IEO and IDO is very possible. However, it should be noted that not all IDOs and IEOs can provide benefits for us. Keep doing DYOR before entering into a project/investment (crypto).
It is interesting to hear that IEO and IDO are profitable coz they are not AFAIK. Their time has been ended already and if there is a new IEO/IDO project that is possibly a scam.

I'm not such an x10 project from them unless if they are in the hype. But if you will rely upon the credibility of the project, you can never expect returns instead of losing your money.

Don't get fooled by what people are saying towards IEO/IDO as being profitable coz not anymore. We'd rather invest in Bitcoins or on the leading altcoins as we can assure of something from them.
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 18, 2022, 03:10:37 PM
That "glass chin" words seem to be the most written words and I can see where's that coming.

Just don't mind it, soon we will stop talking about that because this fight is going to finally happen 2 days from now. It's Sunday in my timezone and that is my rest day, so I will definitely reserve some time to watch this fight, I'm just hoping I'll be able to watch it through live streaming as our local cable does not provide a free telecast of this fight.
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 02:48:55 PM
As far as I know he wasn't paid by stake to share his bet but during the livestream that is run on the weekend Eddie the owner of Stake did mention about the bet placed by their user account but not by name. Those who are frequent players on the platform know who he is on there due to his (user)name being mentioned on the chat numerous times.
Even if he didn't want it known how much he has wagered on a bet like this, the news media has already made it public from this report put out by bloomberg the financial outlet's cryptocurrency section:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-64mYm02nYk
Maybe mentioning the name of a celebrity inside his own casino is not allowed? Because, people would go crazy if the owner's says that or maybe he is just being humble there and he do not want other gamblers to know that there is a celebrity playing on his casino except for the people that already know it via the public chat. I didn't check the video but is the video posted first before drake posted his bets on public?

We don't need to worry about this guy's security because he have lots of body guards and normal guards in his house. This bet alone is not the only thing or the last thing that he will flex but there are more to come.

Drake did not make his fortune from gambling he is a rapper and a performer and he commands a huge price for every concert that he's been doing, in fact, there are reports that he loses a lot from gambling, and what about those unreported we really don't know his losses and his winnings for all we know he is not only playing on Stake.com, Drake is a compulsive gambler no remorse if he losses millions, we never know if one day he becomes broke from gambling.

That's a negative thing, just because he is gambling millions doesn't mean he would go broke, what if the guy is winning? and what if the guy can afford the amount he is gambling? I know Mayweather is also gambling million of dollars, but look where he is now, he still financially free and been making money from his boxing promotions.
2498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Estrada vs Gonzalez Trilogy - March 5 on: February 17, 2022, 03:56:15 PM
The thing is that Martinez is moving up in weight, so the question is, can he bring his power to this division? I highly doubt it so I'm not seeing him knocking out Gonzalez even if he is old and could be out of prime. Martinez just grab this fight because it's a perfect opportunity for him, but it could backfire if he losses this one. And if he losses the fight, what will happen to his unification fight with Sunny Edwards? Big gamble on his part for accepting it, but we will see.
I guess has you have said, the opportunity is there so why not grab it and see how it goes for him?
He seems to be too confident if he says he can knock out Gonzalez because no one has yet beaten him by knockout. So I don't think that Martinez has something specially in him that he can just do it to the great Gonzalez. On the contrary, he could be the one getting knock out here for all we know.

There are some circumstances where the replacement dominated the favorite one of this is the Ugas - Pacquiao, Ugas the replacement beat Pacquiao by unanimous decision, and everyone was caught by surprised, Gonzalez should not underestimate Martinez he still has time to adapt his strategy to Martinez style, if Gonzalez plays it right he can beat Martinez and we can have the trilogy in the future.

Gonzalez have seen it all, so I don't think that because he will be facing Martinez he will be underestimating him. On the contrary, he might really train hard for this fight because he doesn't want to get upset by someone. And if Martinez wins then probably we will not see the trilogy anymore as Gonzalez might retire for good.

He will have to bounce back, however, I don't think we are talking of upset here or whatsoever as both have won 1 apiece against each other, so whoever wins this is the better fighter and I think it will go on a split decision again.

The betting odds are already out, and according to - https://bettinginsiderjournal.com/boxing/juan-francisco-estrada-vs-roman-gonzalez-3-odds/, they are even on betting odds or they have an equal chance of winning.

Quote
Estrada vs Gonzalez 3 Odds
Boxer   Odds
Juan Francisco Estrada   -110
Roman Gonzalez   -110

Therefore upset does not exist.
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 17, 2022, 03:35:58 PM
^ Yes, odds are just a guide for us bettors, but if you don't bet then definitely this odds is nothing because you are going to go with your favorite boxer.

But for boxing fans who knows the history between this two, Amir Khan is more exposed because he has a weak chin. And that is why Kell Brook has been favored by sport bookies in this fight.

Most of the time our favorite fighter is also the favorite in the betting odds, so there's no difference. Odds is for bettors and if you are just purely enjoying the game without betting, you don't need to worry about the odds, but of course, for gamblers, betting what watching, that is the best type of entertainment we are expecting.
You nailed it, betting adds some enjoyment while watching the fight, bookies is giving some hint but knowing how boxing industry was, upset is not new to this venue of sport. There are many cases where favorite are being knocked down by the underdog, if you are one of Khan fans and you want to spice something while watching the fight.

Betting for him gives you more if, in case he beat Brook, you place your bet as early as now or you can actually bet in during the
fight.

We can enjoy watching the fight if we will bet according to our belief, if we think the underdog will win, then we should not be afraid in the first place, besides, as long as you know how to gamble within your limit, losing should not be a big deal for you, it's just normal, but when you win, there's always a celebration afterwards.
2500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin failed to fulfill the purpose it was created for ? on: February 17, 2022, 02:04:59 PM
Just to ask first OP, is Bitcoin dead already? You can just tell anything about a failure. For as long as Bitcoin still exists and is alive, the purpose of being considered as a legal tender alternative to fiat money is quite possible. You can't just end up saying it fails already, perhaps, we are very close to that knowing that many countries are into its adoption and growing establishments are also accepting this as a mode of payment.

It can't be done in just one day if we need another decade to wait, hen we have to be patient, anyway.
