2561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 29, 2022, 08:30:05 PM
Let's now forget the market for a moment, man. Thinking about profits in a bear market is very difficult, even from sources of income, such as mining will also be sorely lacking. We can only rely on non-cryptocurrency small businesses when the market is negative as it is now.
It's not just only when the market is bearish that we should either get a job in real life or start a business, it's counterproductive and wrong to solely depend on crypto earnings, one should always endeavor to have something doing asides investing or trading in crypto, cryptocurrencies are so volatile, and the market can go from good to bad and worse in a short time, if that happens, people who have other source of Income wouldn't panic too much cause they have other means of earning, and that would reduce the possibility of them panic selling.
Having multiple sources of income are the most ideal thing to do and if we want to see our life has a very comfortable life. Solely relying on one source of income is very challenging especially when you don't know how to manage your expenses. So if we can still carry to have a job and crypto investment then we have to make it. We need not lose this opportunity upon buying more coins at this hard time for crypto as taking a steps now will give us returns in the future.
2562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I invested $100 for 18 years for my new born nephew on: January 29, 2022, 02:51:49 PM
You have that good intention mate. Preparation is really important as we never know what gonna happen to us. But if you have a huge amount and enough to run for a small business, that is much better than just holding your money. That I guess it was more helpful and even profitable, and you can't just feed your nephew alone but also the others.

Honestly speaking $100 would still not be sufficient for education by then. 18 years is a long time and just imagine what would be the education cost by then.
Even if we consider that bitcoin goes 100x from now which is itself a big deal according to me, it would still give out only $10,000.
Do you really think $10k would be really sufficient for education after 18 years ? May be in a mid level college then yes but otherwise a big no.
With the market inflation, 18 years from now that $100 will become $10, I think. Maybe if we invest in crypto that possibly doubles the amount but still it was too small to consider for long-term investment. Maybe, if OP could add more at least $100 per year, that is already satisfying.

2563  Economy / Economics / Re: Which business profit model do you prefer? on: January 29, 2022, 02:28:23 PM
I think the food business industry is one of the most profitable businesses right now. I don't see a losing chance if we can manage this perfectly or at least. Yes, of course, this can't be easy work for the owners and it certainly needs focus and aggressiveness as this only be the way to help it succeed.

Ideally, I like to make big money with less effort. Who doesn't? With that said, I prefer one time - big time kind of sales. The reality is different though. Selling luxuries and retail items to respective customers both require skills and effort. The main difference between the two is the capital - you can start a retail business selling items for cheap to a wide audience.
You've just be kidding mam...but I'd love to see how an instant can be in reality. But unfortunately not, that seems impossible in crypto and even in another business platform unless we run an illegal business.
2564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 29, 2022, 01:30:39 PM
Moving on to the upcoming games, we have some interesting games and the best game for me  is the Warriors vs Nets.

Durant is supposed to meet his old team but he was out, so it's gonna be Irving and Harden who will play the Warriors.
Though both stars are listed as probable now, but I hope they'll be playing so this game would be more interesting to watch.

My bet is GSW -6. GL!

Yes, if Durant is not available, the we might as well see Irving or Harden in the floor.

And checking the venue, it will be in Chase Center, and the Warriors has one of the best record in their home court. And in their last game, the Splash brother put up a good show, together with Wiggins and Poole. While on the other hand, the Nets have been struggling and on the losing streak. They have lost their position already in the East and now on the 5th spot only.

Well, Irving and Harden has to play in order for them to have a chance to upset the Warriors, after all, they are still a good team and the number 1 favorite to win a championship. If Brooklyn will still fail to win, it will be their 4th losing streak.
2565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 29, 2022, 01:02:23 PM
And another win for the Phoenix Suns. Someone stop these guys. 9th winning streak. Chris Paul keeping his cool despite being fouled hard by an annoyed Prince, well that's after he nutmeg him.  Grin But we could see how much he grown. He won't let those type of reactions get the better of him.
Big numbers for CP3 earning a triple-double. 2nd for the season and 21st for his career. Something that should be celebrated by the Suns team as he gets better and so does their chemistry.

They're on it again last night and their next game will be on their court which gives them a big advantage because they're on their rhythms again like they break their winning streak record of their franchise last year. Man! if they really made a comeback to take a second chance to break this record in a single season, they're really an amazing team and their main roosters should be preserved as the GSW does with Green, Curry, and Thompson.

Just like their previous win streak, I think that will be extended and they'll probably break their longest win streak this season so far. I like their chemistry, CP3 and Booker have really blend well and it's not only them who work for the success, the other role players are also improving.
2566  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start In Crypto Without Investment on: January 29, 2022, 12:44:38 PM
~snip~

Maybe for members with more established reputations, they make this forum the only place to earn their main income as freelancers or merchandisers.
Starting crypto doesn't have to be with money. Starting by learning it is already an investment. But if your investment intent here is money, then I used to start with Fauchet. Because I have known Bitcoin for more than eight years. At that time Fauchet paid me quite a lot before the price of BTC was very expensive as it is today. From getting a faucet I can use it for trading until now. After the faucet I got to know this forum and from this forum I got additional income, but this is not instant, it takes a long process and hard work.
Learning is an investment anyway but some people want shortcuts and consider this as only a waste of time rather than to start immediately. They just overthink the market like joining airdrops and faucets gives them the benefits they wanted $$$. But sad to say that these things never work great, they just lose their time as well and blame the market.

I think, learning isn't enough and that we need experience which it is obviously needs money.  Honestly, we can't go farther if we don't have money, it definitely we have to spend a few buck rather than just relying to faucets and airdrops.
2567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: January 29, 2022, 12:06:17 PM
I have several ideas on 2022 because right now or on the early years is best time for buying bitcoin trough we got chance with cheapest price from bitcoin and many potential altcoin like BNB, ETH, DOT, LTC still have lower price. I think few months later or middle year are the best for selling assets and usually at the end this years bitcoin always have drop price moment. I think if you have several saving USDT or money assets use to buy back altcoin and bitcoin before later when price pump panic for buying back.
Well, maybe a time to hold for those who already have a lot of assets, and a time to buy for those who want to own cheap assets. well, i also think that it would be great to buy the current popular coins. Unfortunately, people tend to panic rather than take advantage of this moment. I am very sure, they will regret if they do not take advantage of this moment to increase their assets.
Sometimes indeed when we are faced with difficult conditions it makes us easy to panic and that is normal,
but at least we can control ourselves to stay calm and take advantage of the moment like you said,
we are also careful before buying and do some research first
Everything went so well even it was the hardest situation ever in the market if we never lost our mind and kept positive. It is certainly the market will experience dumps and this can't be stopped but for us who kept ourselves strong and calm, that won't affect us. To decide if I will buy or sell is not a difficult thing to do as for sure we know what we are doing and I believe that we have made the research already, perhaps it was very important. But, if we feel uncomfortable, I guess we don't need to sacrifice our money as well.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tell us about the best altcoin in the current situation. on: January 28, 2022, 10:58:43 PM
The market has been going downhill for some time now. In order to get the best return in such a situation, which altcoin should we invest in that gives us the maximum benefit?
I'm not sure about the maximum benefit but what I looked at in my investment is somehow I can get 50%, which was really satisfying for me. And what I did is to invest in the leading altcoins like BNB and Sol. But anytime, I can make some adjustments and diversification. It is very important to know our situation and we also have to adapt to the changes that we encounter.

I'm not going to stick into a single coin or two, and anytime, I sell them and buy another coin. Well, this strategy seems it works for me and I become profitable.
2569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 28, 2022, 09:20:37 PM

..........Surprised at this line to be honest.

That's why I didn't bother to bet on that game because I have a little doubt that it could only put us in trouble, I mean the line is very tempting for the bulls and I'm afraid it's only a trap. By the way, i have Denver -5.5 and Memphis -4, took it earlier.

We will never know if it's a trap or not until the game is over. But based on the last 10 road games of the Bulls, they struggled so that is maybe the reason why they are the underdog here. No Ball and Caruso for the Bulls, that's an advantage of the Spurs here.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 28, 2022, 09:02:40 PM
I see a really nice game between Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Clippers are having a so unlucky season that they don't have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard due to long-lasting injuries. But they are still holding onto the playoff zone as strong as possible now. And Heat are just amazing now. They are the leader of their conference now. They are showing a really great performance this season and I already wonder about what they would do in the playoffs. As for this game, I'm favouring Heat to win for sure.

Heat will win this, I also favor them to win on their home court, however, the betting line or the point spread is very high, I think the Clippers will be able to cover it as they are still very competitive despite losing their 2 all stars (Leonard and George).  I know I will enjoy watching this game, I hope my expectation that it will be a close game will happen.  Smiley

Covering the spread is not a problem for the Heat as long as Butler is going to play and the rest of the starters. There's a reason why they are heavily favored, -7 is just not hard for them to cover against an undermanned team, against NY in their last game, they won by double digit, so probably we will see the same story here.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: January 28, 2022, 08:38:30 PM
No update yet for this fight?

As others have said, time is running out for GGG here, yes I know that that pandemic messes it up again, but maybe GGG can have a replacement fight for the time being instead of waiting for this fight that might be push thorough or this might be totally scratch if the situation in Japan does not improved in the next couple of months. I'm thinking that GGG can get a fight in Europe, like a get busy fight and then get Murata later in the year.

Good point, GGG's handlers should find another fight while waiting. If that's possible, it's better for him to take it.

There's no update yet if what's the new stand from Japan, the virus still spreading in many places in the world,

and japan as one of those countries who really taking this problem seriously.

They are not letting any event like to happen to avoid making mistake and allow wide spread to happen inside their country's.

It's about time for GGG to move forward and see any possible alternative to keep his name on hype.

It's not easy for GGG to prepare for another fight and then fight again once the schedule is settled. He is not getting any younger and he is not as active as Canelo who can fight 3 to 4 times in a year, so I guess he will just wait for the schedule so he would not exert too much effort for multiple fights.
2572  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: January 28, 2022, 01:21:26 PM

My agitation now is no one should come back shouting about missed opportunity in the future I think since late last year the market has been a bit fair to new investors giving them opportunity to join the train. Everyone can be a millionaire in crypto attitude towards market volatility is what makes the clear difference
No, not just a complaint but certainly, we can still hear people crying in vain for missing this for sure.
And we know why. It was because some just ignore the situation and even think negatively which force them not to buy. Well, this is not new to us as not all are able to understand the situation, they'd rather insists of what they think rather than helping themselves to be right.

Every drop is an opportunity but not all have seen this but instead, they response to this situation in the opposite way. And it was there choice to miss, not us.
2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bear market? on: January 28, 2022, 12:50:20 PM
I'm actually very confused by what's going on in the bear market this time around  Huh If this is due to Russia limiting cryptocurrencies, it looks like China and America have started to limit the circulation of cryptocurrencies but at that time cryptocurrencies can still be high. I know that Russia is not as big as China, but why is the cryptocurrency market now experiencing a bear market Huh I think this is the whales movement.
Well, you can blame everything around but can't find the main reason for the downtrend and that was because this is not a manipulated sentiment, it is somehow a normal market condition. So, instead of pointing out who's in charge of this, I think it was best to buy more coins. We can neither stop them, we just let this things happens and besides, we are also benefiting the situation by having the change to buy coins at lower price.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: January 27, 2022, 09:11:17 PM
I don't know, but it seems that Canelo has close the door already, he will be going up in weight as CW and that is too much for GGG right now who campaigns at 160 lbs. So I already forget about that idea of another fight between the two.

And as you have said, GGG is already 40 and we don't know how many fight is left in him. Maybe against Murata this year and another one perhaps before the end of the year.
I agree, the door for a possible trilogy against Canelo is complete closed and it is never going to happen with Canelo moving to the CW division, also many people saw GGG win at least one of those fights so I doubt that Canelo is going to want to fight against GGG despite his age.

And talking about his age, what is happening with the pandemic is something terrible for people like GGG, which are at the end of their careers and saw their careers interrupted with no opportunity to get all the time they lost back.

It's hard to imagine that the pandemic has been staying for too long, though it interrupts the sporting industry I'm still hoping soon our life will be back to normal and we will see GGG retiring after a good fight. Though it's unlikely to happen a GGG vs Canelo trilogy, we will still remain hopeful because it was one of the greatest matches up we saw in boxing history, two great warriors sparring in the ring like they are not afraid of each other.
As someone that likes the sport of course I would like to see a third fight between Canelo and GGG but it will require a huge deal of effort from both parties to make it a reality and I simply do not see the will to do so.

Now personally I think that we have already went through the worst the pandemic could throw at us, since have already learned how to live with it and as time passes and more people get the virus without deadly consequences we will see a slow return to some sense of normality, however by the time this happens athletes that were on the verge of retiring will not be able to enjoy the benefits of this.

An effort between two fighters, they don't need to work harder to sell this fight as a trilogy would automatically gain people's attention to watch the fight. It's not gonna be hard, they just have to give the fans request one more time and in return they'll get a good payday again.
2575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 27, 2022, 08:47:58 PM
Mario Barris will have to put on weight for this fight.  For any athlete, this is a very difficult test.  He may partially lose such qualities as agility and maneuverability.

But the main thing is not the physical form.  The main thing is the will to win.  I have a feeling that Keith Thurman believes more in his victory than Mario.

Perhaps Mario is still painfully experiencing his defeat in the battle with Davis.

In my opinion, Keith Thurman has a better chance of winning this fight.
I dont have doubts on physical form of Barrios but that wont really be enough on beating up Thurman basing up with statistics/experience/technical fighter then i dont really believe
that he would able to beat out Thurman but we know that this guy could really have that chance and this would really be a test of will and endurance and some luck
on giving out some unexpected blows which might really able for him to win but well its just all in chances and lets see if it could really push through.

Proving he can win is something that he has to do, his record is nothing if he cannot beat Thurman who is a previous champion in Welterweight division, it could be his biggest challenge in his boxing career but not for Thurman, so in terms of confidence, I got Thurman here ready to teach Barrios some lessons.
2576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 12:56:43 PM
more confident with tokens generated from bounty than airdrop that are currently widely available on social media..!!
what do you think about the current airdrop?
Airdrops are free but guess what, they are most likely useless.
Quote
is there any hope for the future?
never get disappointed but the truth is that we can't see fortune in them.
Quote
and is anyone still looking for luck by joining the airdrop?
Those who wanted free money and probably newbies will certainly at look with that but for us who have an experience with this, it simply just ignore. I don't care...
Quote
What potential airdrop tokens did you get?
None...as I did not participate in any. And perhaps, it has no reason to join them. Maybe it was not just a waste of time but it consume some space in our wallets.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 26, 2022, 09:52:12 PM
Last time, there was a discussion about Mark Pingris going to be a player of MPBL IIRC. Now, he's not just a player for another league but higher than that and that's being a commissioner on the Pilipinas Super League. Isn't it a threat for the PBA with the launch of different leagues in our country? or they're supporting it and has no problems with it?

Another interesting venture from Pinoy Sakuragi, not sure if there's any conflict between PBA and this new league.

Just assuming if there's certain conflict, Pingris will think twice before accepting the job, we already discuss the reasons why

he didn't play with MPBL, maybe that will be that same reason in case this Pilipinas Super League will be a direct competitor of PBA

He needs to set things up, or just like how you think about it, maybe PBA is supporting this league..
I'm not sure about the conflict but I think there's none. What I'm thinking is that, are they worried about the rise of different leagues in our country? MPBL has already been said as a pro-league. What if the others will follow too? Where are the PBA players are going? if not with B League then for sure they're coming after for these rising leagues. And knowing that these new rising leagues has professional players too that came from PBA, they have a backup that these leagues would be also big someday.

The time will come that PBA will have a tough competitor and with good competition in the market, I expect that the PBA will improve and maybe they'll start accepting new teams to be part of the league, that would be better for better competition and the season will take longer than the current set up.
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 26, 2022, 09:17:07 PM
^^ Barrios may have power in 140 lbs, but it is not tested on 147 lbs yet and the other way around, what if a true welterweight with power like Thurman hits him in the first time? What will be his reaction then?

So a lot of questions in this fight really, a lot of speculations. However, for us who have been following boxing for so long, we are somewhat going to favor Thurman over Barrios and I personally is thinking that it is possible for Thurman to score a knock out.

He's more capable the trainings and drills are all designed for this division, it's easier for him to condition his body,

while with Barrios, this was something that every fighter wanted to achieve, climb up and make a name to increase his popularities

and take more money fight if in case upset happened in this fight.

Too early but like what most of us here, favor to Thurman is really something that not just bookies but bettors will be eyeing and

gamble with their money.

Mostly, the popular boxer will get the better odds or the favorite to win the fight, in this fight, we know who is the popular boxer although no one of the two is a champion. We stick with what we think and bet on the boxer we believe will get a win on this fight. Thurman has been so successful in the past (less Pacman fight), so I think he is still on his prime and could still win a battle.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 26, 2022, 02:54:59 PM
There has been so many YouTube influencers and other folks predicting to buy certain altcoins for huge profit and once the Bitcoin dropped down thus send a shockwave across altcoins we don't see people or influencer coming up with their favorite list of altcoins with the kind of confidence which they showed when market was green.

This is the right time to pick invest into altcoins which didn't got expected pump during the bullrun yet posses the potential, I want you guys to share your opinion on altcoins which we should invest.

Though I am not a big fan of XRP but I would prefer XRP and ADA to invest now at dip. 70% investment would be into ADA and 30% into XRP.

Even I am trying to accumulate more ADA these days. I have just started the accumulation of ADA and so far I have 120 ADA in my bag.
I am not really sure but how much ADA do you guys think one should have in order to gain potential profits in the long term.
I still think XRP is a shit coin and won't invest in it ever. I would rather hold stable coins like USDC than invest in XRP.
Ever since ADA is out of my list. I don't have the trust of this project because I was a victim of its failure and was given no chance to recover my investment. It is the best decision to find another one but not XRP as well.
Why not consider the know altcoins like ETH and BNB. They are leading altcoins in the market and that seems promising in the real thing. Or, to have some luck in the metaverse projects as they are just about to start and ride on the possible hyped.
2580  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 26, 2022, 02:05:22 PM
Looks like the 1st month of the year is a bearish month. The fear of some is already here, bitcoin dumped below $40k and we don't know if it will continue to dump, if the market is bearish, then most likely the trend will continue as there will be a correction after a bull run we enjoyed. Keep that patience, buy the dip and hold when the market is not good, besides, these are just temporary.
I also saw that this was only temporary and I am still holding onto my assets to this day because I also don't want to be in a loss just because I panicked and couldn't wait, even though in the past I have used money in the right direction, and that's for sure I wouldn't just throw it away either.

I also still maintain it until now and do not want to waste money just like that because I believe when everything returns to normal, our profits will also be there.
Until now I have not panicked and am still patient even though now many of them have panicked.
all will return to normal and this is a common situation in the course of the market. there's no way the graphics are improving and in good shape. There are times when everything can change in an instant. it is possible that once this is over, BTC will hit a new ATH again this year.
Kinda be understandable that the market is not manipulated that most people think of it. We're getting back slowly and I think this will be the mark for another big market rally.

I'd certainly look for that moment but in the meantime, buying more Bitcoin is the best thing to do while the price is still low. For those who are planning to invest crypto, this could be the right moment. We neither have to miss this opportunity as there is no coming back.
