3521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Amazon.com still resisting the use of BTC for payment? on: August 07, 2016, 09:29:08 AM
maybe they think they don't have to cause less people shop with bitcoin
Seems like you're not really updated, are you? Paypal has already announced it's intention of integrating bitcoin as one of the currencies/services offered by them. It means every business which are already doing with paypal, automatically going to embrace bitcoin. But direct acceptance by amazon would be a great leap. I could not guess what are hidden businesses under this.
3522  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: August 07, 2016, 06:31:37 AM
I am holding it for price rise as I am very much sure that price will be much higher in future which can help us in earning higher profits.
But due the recent bitfinex hack I think the price has come down a bit.

People have to stop panic because hacking can not destroy your coins guys. Soon the price will be back to normal, so better stock them yet. Yes, those who are all using these type of downfall as their buying opportunity to add more into their hoarding, they only will be the near future millionaires.
3523  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do? on: August 06, 2016, 08:30:01 PM
Direct opposite of https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1438622.0

If bitcoin rose to $1M, what you do?

I personally would sell maybe 0.00001 BTC (about $10 if I'm not mistaken).
I would sell half of my bitcoins but if bitcoin rose to $1M,we could literally buy anything with bitcoin directly so there would be no need to sell coins to buy myself house, car etc
Considering that I have about 10BTC, I will probably sell them all and live a happy life if bitcoin is supposedly to rise at $1M. I may reinvest some but generally, I will just have to live the rest of my life with those money. But saving half might get you more profits when bitcoin again rise to $2M per one bitcoin. But I need to live a comfort life as early as possible.
3524  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 06, 2016, 08:05:52 AM
Will there be a haircut for users that didnt short or long but simply stored money? Any updates, ETAs on the future route? When will I get my money back?
What do you mean by when will you get my money back? Your money has always been with you. I believe you mean to ask when will the total value of your bitcoins to be restored to equivalent of values before the incident of bitfinex hacking.
As per all the expectation, we are probably on track to get the value back up toward $600 line.
3525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: August 05, 2016, 08:10:36 PM
yes indeed mate lottery is also a gambling putting your luck on your bet is a gambling there's no exemption from there, and regarding to get addicted there's a big possibility that you will be addicted on it since you are aiming to win, after that or after winning you will aim  more and more, so if i were you just be more extra careful.

Yes lottery is gambling and as you asked, lottery will also bring addiction which is usually due to greediness.
I have a friend who ruined his life with lottery, he bought too many tickets and he won few but very less money and loose with more lotteries.
Out of hoping to win more, he bought more lotteries with his all salary and also with loaned money later he was bankrupt.

3527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: August 05, 2016, 03:35:07 PM
Let's say I generate a new address and by some miracle it has Bitcoin already in it belonging to somebody else. Is it legal to just take it? I understand those odds are very low, no need to lecture me, I'm just interested.
If you wanted to make a bet on 50% win chance and mistakenly made a bet at 50x multiplier, then will you return the money to your gambling owner ?
NO then why would you return the money which your goodwill or good luck has brought to you but unexpectedly ? Have no obvious reasons to return unless and until a claim is made !!
3528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: August 03, 2016, 05:27:50 PM
I would only invest in a site with a very much reputable history. That being said one such site for me is Crypto-Games.net as this site was accepting Ethereum since 2014 from what I have seen in their advertising. Now they are accepting beside bitcoin even different altcoins. This add to their balance as not all users have only bitcoin, some of them may have ethereum. This site can even let you invest only 0.01 btc as a minimum.
There are a few other sites which accepts investments too.
Once I visited crypto-games and I was worried to invest and play after seeing something which was : A user was abusing in chat which is for sure not acceptable but what the site admin did was even horrible, he freezed his balance.

So, I think someday if I loose too much maybe I am upet and say a few words and then bang lol so I stop playing there. Not sure if it was cryptogames but I am 99% sure.
3529  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2016, 03:28:41 PM
just buy them something with bitcoins or allow them use it for their online shoppings or something like that
I think if bitcoin accepting market has been developed where they could buy anything then it would be possible. Right now the best possible way of getting more and more women is to tell them about bitcoins and tell them that their savings can grow with just holding in bitcoins.
3530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this true? beginners in gambling are the luckiest? on: August 03, 2016, 10:30:12 AM
It is not true because every person can be lucky no metter how much experience he have on gambling casino.
Yes and in fact when I was gambling for first time on primedice ( I remember the old design yet , pd 2 I guess )  I made some loss as a newbie and since then I have only grown up better and hence making less loss and know which odds are best for making profit.
3531  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: August 02, 2016, 05:55:38 PM
I will never do that if had a child. Kids are suppose to be at school. I dont want see child doing that kind of thing. I will.let them play instead of earning bitcoin. One more thing faucets are really boring. Your child must be bored playing stupid faucets and its not profitable.
But this generation of children are not listening to our words. Instead of they are spending more time with videogames kind of online things, why not they can spend their time within some process of earning. I agree your view, but already children's are spending their time online so introducing them how to earn bitcoin will not have much bad impact IMHO.
As long as you are not disturbing the schedule of your children's educational progress, you can introduce them how to earn Bitcoins. But, definitely a kid might get bored with faucet kind of things as it is not that much entertaining to most of us.
Even a kid likes to work for bitcoin either in faucets or anything that requires lot of time to spend with, we should never allow him to do so. That would definitely affect their brain growth as it force them to think in a predetermined single way.
A kid must have different kind of environment other than a focusing only one. I believe it is too dangerous to get a kid into bitcoin earning.
I agree faucets are dangerous for both kids and adults. You might think instead of wasting time in some thing why not you can spend time to collect some satoshis. But there is no point in wasting your time for some income which is lesser than your electricity bill. My humble suggestion also do not waste your kid's childhood in front of computer.
3532  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 02, 2016, 01:57:59 PM
Buy $100 Bitcoins, just in case

Probably be a millionaire, because I'm sure Bitcoin would rebound sooner or later
You are right to a certain point. Because when the price was 1$ earlier people said that its just another waste current, but then ir proved all of those people wrong and jumped out of the box. So now also it can go to a very high value when it reaches 1$ because we never know when somethign like bitcoins can rise.
3533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: August 02, 2016, 10:17:47 AM
my worst mistake that i have made with bitcoin was gambling it.
now i know that gambling is not a good way of using bitcoin because the risks are high and tendency of losing is also very high.
Try to find ways to stop it. Its not a mistake, you tried how gambling is and how gambling works you tried not a mistake, but the time you start running behind profits and chasing losses you made a mistake. Visit the gambling section, a lot of suggestions have been posted there by various users.
3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: August 02, 2016, 08:41:38 AM

From your topic you already said stealing and you are still asking whether stealing of bitcoin is legal, please it's very illegal to steal any man's property be it bitcoin or not
I think it is not form of stealing because bitcoin wallet not gives you already owned bitcoin address they always gives a unique bitcoin address if your generated address has bitcoin already you are lucky but do not think the bitcoin included have owned already.
That's even beyond lucky to receive and address that is pre-owned by someone else. That is actually a glitch and it would be needing a fix as soon as possible. More over bitcoin addresses are designed to be unique always at an incredible amount.
3535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: August 02, 2016, 07:41:52 AM
Do you think that people hate bitcoins why?
Are you hate bitcoins or like it.........
But my answer is I LIKE BITCOIN.
I can't give a straight answer to this, because I haven't seen anyone around me that ever told me that he/she hates bitcoin and I font think anyone will hate bitcoin, for what reason we they hate it?
For me i do not think if they will hate bitcoin because my office mate are tried to used bitcoin but now they not using it again the one reason is they are not interested to earn in bitcoin but i do not say that they hates bitcoin.
I know some people who hates bitcoins. From how I heard their conversation, I can conclude that they hate bitcoins simply because it is easier to do illegal activities/transactions with bitcoins. And oh! I didn't intentionally wanted to hear them talking but I just happen to overhear them since I was alone and just sitting and chilling.
3536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: August 01, 2016, 06:50:21 PM
Worse mistake i make when gambling is drinking, never drink and gamble because it's a recipe for disaster.
When drunk and gambling you're much more inclined to say those bad words "let it ride"

gambling while drinking is one of the worse mistake ever, I saw a drunk gamble on a very reputable site he lost very big amount so quickly and next day he start crying when he got his sense, so it very true never gamble when you drunk.
I heard of this, that people do so but I never still believe that people would do so ever. Basically no matter how much you are drunk but you always remember the bets are you making and loss and profit you are making ? if not how you remember the name of site ?
3537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I earn much bitcoin? on: August 01, 2016, 01:40:12 PM
Before involving in earning bitcoin, try to learn about it, with that you will handle well any job you will like to adopt for earning bitcoin, and the better option will be that you learn better about trading in bitcoin and try to collect some bitcoins (try to buy a minimum amount) and with that start trading, you will earn a good profit monthly.
He doesn't necessarily need to buy any coins to be honest as he can just go in a signature campaign and use the earnings there. Besides, having to join on a signature campaign can be educational as well since you'd have to be reading the replies from posts that interests you. This was how I actually learned about bitcoin, trading and a little bit of mining.
3538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: August 01, 2016, 08:51:57 AM
bitcoin is not acceptable in my country we can just use it for online shopping and sometime i convert my bitcoin to fiat for direct shopping.
but we have a big problem related to that issue, although our government has not given any statement about bitcoin but the problem is that in my country there is a very little awareness about bitcoin, people have even no idea that what is bitcoin, therefore they are not accepting bitcoin in their shops although there are some people who are using and investing their money in bitcoin but still there not a sing shopkeeper who have any idea about bitcoin.
We have the same problem here. Or perhaps we live in the same country?
I'm guessing one out of 500 people know about bitcoins in here since the awareness is really low. There are already some shops that accepts bitcoins but only to a select location and it's probably just about 2-3 shops and they are about 5 hours away from me so it's never worth the effort to visit.
3539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: July 31, 2016, 06:00:27 PM
i do not think that people hate bitcoin because maximum people adopt the bitcoin .

You are very wrong, there are still many people out there who hate bitcoin and they always find fault systems that exist in the bitcoin and after that they launched a campaign against the black of the error. It is very dangerous for the survival of the bitcoin, but I think more people are curious against bitcoin then it will positively impact against us
It's pretty normal for bitcoin to have it's own set of haters.
Just like anything or anyone that's famous, there are believers and there are haters. Those haters would always find even the simplest, smallest flaw to pick on bitcoin. But, anything without proper reason or proof never withstand nor get spread out. So, haters will never impact on growth of bitcoin system for ever.
3540  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2016, 08:15:35 PM
I've seen many times (naked) women accepting bitcoins.
Therefore this issue is no longer Interesting.

Yes you are right in the beginning i thought women were hard to convince since i have a hard time convincing my wife. But in facebook there are multiple women who earns bitcoin more than men. And they are more active then man. They are more active and serious about bitcoin, they are also more of a risk taker and some could use their beauty to ask for bitcoin in gambling game. Damn women, we men are left behind in bitcoin industry.
Do not estimate all the other women based on your wife. Because it is much easier for convincing other woman rather than your wife for reason of the other people might be ready to believe your words whereas a wife might be at high level of ignorance with her husband's words. But overall I too agree it is too hard to motivate women to use bitcoins.
Yes, motivating a woman to use bitcoin must have some proper approach. If you are talking to a new women without any concrete example then that might be end up with unwated results. In my view women are more practical, when we are showing them the real time proof, then it would be much easier to motivate them to adopt bitcoin for their daily life.
Your point is not just women specific. It would be easier for convincing anybody to adopt bitcoin if we are showing some practical/real time examples. But when we are talking to new women about bitcoin ecosystem then definitely we must have some many supporting things. Otherwise it would end up as just a waste of time.
