3521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: October 22, 2021, 05:38:51 PM
What we need right now in the fiat world is a way to turn it into a bit more blockchain path as well. Not make it a stablecoin or CDBC or whatever it is called. Those are low end discussions that are not really at the core of the problem. Why do people move their money to crypto? I mean if it was only decentralization which is a huge deal for me and what I care about, then why do we own BNB? Owned by CZ? Or Tron? Owned by Justin Sun? Or any other coin that has "owners" basically, I can count at least 100 of them that are famous, let alone thousands that are small.

So, I would say that it is clear for me that it is not doing great, we need a lot more, we need something that is the true reason; fair grounds. It means in fiat world governments and rich people make the rules in an unfair way, and that way rich get richer and poor get poorer. We need a fiat that will be fair grounds, if it goes up then we are all richer, if it goes down then we are all poorer.
3522  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $66,974.77 on: October 22, 2021, 03:46:11 PM
This new small drop is definitely a correction. Do not get too excited about the chances of the price falling, I am sure that it will recover and do a great increase above 70k in the long run. There are always people who sell whenever the price goes up, that is the way they are making the world feel, I even feel like there is a good chance we could see under 60k as well.

However it is obvious that the fall was a small one and it will be recovered. Why do I feel that way? Because, there are times when the price crashes and when it does then the price really crashes, like not even a small amount, I mean %10+ per day for a while. So this wasn't a crash, it was a correction and we all will be fine. This is why I support that we will go back to higher prices and even break the new ATH and reach to 70k+ very easily, this was only a small step back.
3523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bitcoin going to burst anytime soon on: October 22, 2021, 03:00:52 PM
I do not believe that it is going to happen this time around, I believe that we are going to see higher and higher prices and we are going to be ending something like 100k eventually, I believe that 100k+ is not a hard thing for us to reach and there is a good case about how to reach those levels if we could basically not have any big and increasing short future buyers, that case we could maybe have a crash but without that and everyone is a long term right now we are going to be great in the future.
If we are talking about "burst" as in completely get destroyed? Then we will never see that, bitcoin is way too powerful to be gone like that, I am pretty sure that rich people in the world alone could keep it above 10k at this point, there are nations involved now, El Salvador is the most known one but there are many nations that invest into companies that invest into bitcoin so nations are indirectly investing into crypto as well. All that money can keep it above 10k forever from now on.

However if we are talking about burst as in price crash then it could happen any time, it is not a secret that we sometimes drop in price. We should be used to something like that and not really get worried about it, hell I would be happy about it since I would be able to buy a lot more this time around and I would be able to profit whenever it gets back to these prices.
3524  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: October 22, 2021, 02:09:16 PM
In the year 2021, after probably 10 thousand years of humanity, probably more but at least thats what we can go back to, how can people still not understand supply and demand? I mean even 5 thousand years ago, we had supply and demand mechanisms, you give me 20-25 chickens, I give you one cow? Sure numbers could be different, but we are talking about something that DID happen probably 5000 years ago.

And today, people still do not understand how something has a value. It is simple as that, supply and demand, there is a limited amount of bitcoin available in the market, and you get to buy them from the people who are willing to sell, most of the bitcoins in the world are stored in wallets, so only a smaller portion is left to trade, people want to buy it, they just want it, there is a demand, and that makes it valuable and go up in price. How hard is it to understand this?
3525  Economy / Economics / Re: What are common arguments for Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2021, 10:24:00 PM
If you're a newbie in this crypto market, you will probably think that bitcoin offers huge profits and can make you instantly rich. But bitcoin is not as easy as that. There are risks that you have to deal and manage it wisely. Because if you are just here for profits alone, you will not last long in this market. You have to know first bitcoin well and learn to value it so you will attract good profits in return.

Bitcoin is not just profits alone. Somehow, we should also learn to utilize it so that its adoption will also increase and could lead to a more massive adoption in the future.
Unfortunately there are too many newbies that think that they could get rich overnight and that's not going to end anytime soon, we are going to face stuff like that for a long time, I believe that we should not be seeing it like that, and I have been seeing crypto as a retirement plan. Stock market doesn't make you rich overnight neither, and people still invest trillions of dollars into it, and they are making money overall in the long run. I think if you invest into good crypto currencies (not horrible BSV type of stuff) then you could literally make a wealth from it by the time you retire, unless you are 60 years old right now already.

I have to say that we are in a situation where we are basically having something like 20-30 years to retire and that would be enough for me to make a good return and become wealthy and then I would be able to retire at age 60 and be rich enough to not work after that age.
3526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptogames - who has heard of them? on: October 21, 2021, 08:24:25 PM
I heard that there are a lot of games where you can get money for what you play, or awards for some achievements in the game in the form of cryptocurrency, which can then be exchanged into fiat. Or maybe I misunderstood. I'm too inexperienced in this yet. In any case, I need a game that does not require investment, ideally with some kind of welcome bonuses or the opportunity to win something to play like in guild of guardians. I do not have extra money for investment, and I want to try
From this message it is obvious that he doesn't mean that casino place. He just means that there are games like axie infinity where you make a profit by playing.

OP: Yes, there are places where you could be making a profit if you are basically gaming there, it is horrible game if you ask me, I like to play games that are much much better and there are tons of people who are failing to get there because they are not doing it properly and they end up losing money, you need to play that game a lot in order to make a profit and the game itself sucks so playing that game a lot doesn't really make a lot of sense and some people give up eventually.

As a person who games at least 100 hours a week on steam most of the time, I would say that it makes sense to get bored of that game and stop eventually, so I would not suggest that as a way to make money.
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New best altcoin on: October 21, 2021, 07:08:04 PM
What is the idea behind the creation of this token other than for pumping?
What is the difference you print 1 billion tokens which then burn 450 million compared to printing 550 million supply initially without burning? I think it would be better if you burn 999 million tokens and leave only 1 million to add to the pumping sensation.

Burning most of the supply is an old scheme of some of the shitcoins introduced on this forum. But nowadays there are too many shitcoins and I think the season of altcoins with a supply of billions with 16 decimal places is over.
The idea is to get rich, that's it. Don't get me wrong I do not mean to get rich for investors, it is get rich by the creators. People end up creating token after token so that they could get rich and nothing else, which is another issue here. Someone created some coin and they are promoting and shilling it here and they are trying to get more people and in the end they are not going to be able to do it.

I should know, I created a token back in the day and I spent all my savings on it and I did not made anything back, I spent literally every single cent that the project made back into project and I lost all that money, I could had 50k dollars if I wanted to, that would be awesome, but I used it all back, we were few partners it wasn't just me, but we all lost our money and didn't made a cent.

These people do not look at it that way, they look at it basically by considering it as a possible way to make a profit by creating a token.
3528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Apeswap (Banana) Speculation Thread on: October 21, 2021, 06:15:22 PM
When a currency is 80% down from the ATH price and even with the big increases we are having right now it is obvious that we are not doing something that is profitable and looking good. Apeswap was something that was literally one to one copy of pancekswap with a different design and that's it. Literally nothing different compared to pancakeswap, they tried to copy it one to one without any change, exactly the same thing with ONLY design change. Eventually they realized they are making profit in thousands upon thousands so they started to get more and more investments into other projects and tried to take them away from pancakeswap.

This resulted with projects that failed to go into pancakeswap end up with apeswap instead of apeswap getting good projects from pancakeswap. This is why I believe that there is a good reason that we should be letting apeswap go now, it is just not something that can survive, it will be gone.
3529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Golden Cross approaching on: October 21, 2021, 05:36:41 PM
We have always been going up eventually, it is not like there is a rare situation where bitcoin goes up very high very quickly, it is obvious that we are going to have situations where we will skyrocket to insanely high prices and it will keep up happening all the time. However, the reality is that we are in a situation where people are acting like there is a chart where you can read how it will go up, you do not need a chart, after a while of not being high, it will be high and that’s all you need to know and you do not need to know anything extra, which is happening right now.

Forget about macd, rsi, golden cross and anything else you know, it is a hype, it is a bull run, it is doing fine and broke ATH because have been low for a while and no longer low, that’s all we need to know, you know what happens next? We are going to see price crash, no idea when, but it will happen. That’s how the market works.
3530  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think narcos may actually be on the 10 richest? on: October 21, 2021, 03:32:55 PM
I would say that it was a lot possible back in the day, but I doubt it is possible right now. Not because Narcos could not make a lot of money, they could make a ton of money and it is obvious that we could see people end up making billions upon billions on drugs. However the top 10 rich people are now at 100+ billion level, and that is not something that many people can achieve, it is amount of money that is definitely not drug lord level, drug people could reach to maybe 10 or even 20 billion but by the time they reach those levels they get caught eventually.

The reason for this is not because they are dealing with drugs, it is because nobody in the world could devalue dollar like a drug lord and that pisses USA off and that's why they are caught and punished, not because of drug but because of money. This is why I doubt Narcos could ever crack into top 10 ever again.
3531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 20, 2021, 09:39:58 PM
^Yes ,exactly like how everyone imagined... both lakers and nets losing on the opening night... This night was a weird way to start the season, however it showed once again that no matter what type of team you build, if you are not a "team" yet then you will be beaten.

Lakers do have a better roster if you ask me, sure Curry is amazing but if you look at the roster list Lakers beat GSW overall, and yet we saw GSW win because they are a team, whereas Lakers is not a team just yet.

Same goes for Nets and Bucks, no kyrie on nets, they are getting used to each other, they are playing together now but it hasn't been a while whereas Bucks won a chip together. So all in all it is obvious to me that being a team together beats being individuals who are talented, and last night was the proof. You will see that the more lakers and nets play together, they will get used to each other and they will be much better.
3532  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 20, 2021, 07:02:40 PM
In the country, I live there is a big small business type of situation. If you want to start a startup and want to make money from an app then it doesn't seem like a good idea, but if you want to start a grocery store or like a convenience store or a shoe store or whatever then you are suggested and supported. If you have a "shop" then it would be great because everyone supports that, even banks do give loans easier to those type of companies as well and that is the type of thing that most people do as well, it is definitely something that many people do here as an entrepreneur instead of a startup.

If you want to start a startup though, then it becomes harder because people do not like stuff that doesn't make any profit at all for years and get investments and sell some part of the company in return. Why would anyone invest to you if you are not making any profit for years, that is what people think. Amazon didn't make a profit for 10+ years and yet they got investors, they cannot understand that.
3533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: At what Bitcoin price do you think altseason will start? on: October 20, 2021, 05:44:47 PM
The period is getting closer if you ask me. I believe that November will be the period where we are going to see something that would be closer to alt season and hopefully that is when we are going to see something like 5k+ ethereum and 1k+ bnb and so forth. When that happens unless you are holding something horrible then we are all going to make a good profit.

The bad part is that we are going to see useless and horrible coins go up as well during that period and people will get hyped about them and they are going to lose money on the bad periods as well because they invested into horrible coins that did great during alt season. Just because a coin went up during the good days doesn't mean that they will not crash harder than others during bad periods neither. I have seen too many of this happen at the period during early 2021 and then suck during second period. Be careful even during the good periods so that you could keep your profit during bad periods.
3534  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think crypto will be the future for payments in space ? on: October 20, 2021, 01:42:24 PM
I dont think that the transaction speed will be that different. We have seen how astronauts make live video calls to the Earth with good graphics pictures. That means that we already now have a technology to transfer heavy streaming videos from out of space. What a blockchain or regular bank (swift) transaction? Just a number of bytes. By the time technology develops so much that will allow us to fly from populated planet A to populated planet B, data transfer would be so fast, that it wont matter what you send.

But I think future payments in space a still very far. Space payment will be on when we will have a unite currency on Earth. And having one unite currency in every country looks impossible to me.
The difference is that crypto is actually digital, so when you send something like a bitcoin to someone in mars, then you are already sending it and you do not have to do anything anymore, you are done. Whereas the difference is that if you are sending money in bytes and that's it in fiat, then you are not actually having paper there at all, in the regular world we could just send money trucks in between banks and it would work and there are no issues, if one bank store is getting too much compared to what they have, they will send it to main headquarters and all that.

What are we going to do, if I send 10 billion dollars to a bank in mars, then what are we going to do? Not like people could withdraw that in mars, not like we can withdraw 10 billion here neither, but in the end we are going to be at least having the money there, with the mars one we need to send the paper version there as well. This is the slow part.
3535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best yield farming platform on: October 20, 2021, 05:40:02 AM
Uniswap and Pancakeswap. People are still trying to find others and imagine that it will be something that would be normal for them, but the reality is that these two are still by far the best ones and they will keep being the best ones for a long time. This doesn't mean that the ones that you guys listed are bad, they are very good places as well, but we are talking about "best" one and if we are talking about best one then Uniswap is clearly the best one, all the others are a lot lesser in the level.

This means that they are still good, all the other ones that you like could be great, they could be very loved and good and we should use them and there is nothing wrong with loving them, but "best" is uniswap for sure, and second is pancakeswap.
3536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if country has fully adopted crypto and they are releasing their own stablecoin on: October 19, 2021, 03:44:23 PM
I think cryptocurrencies are in a development period now, there are still many things to be fixed before people have faith and confidence using them in daily life. However, If I live in a friendly crypto country or even the one that has already legalized it, I think I'll try to familiarize myself using cryptocurrencies in my daily life because I believe that cryptocurrency is the future. IMHO as an adopter, we still have another option too to use Fiat when it's needed, so it's actually flexible for me. It depends on the needs.
Development is definitely acceptable, most of them are not even there, they are at "research" level if you ask me. A lot of nations will have their own stablecoins in the future, it is not really in the development stage for 90% of the nations in the world but I am 100% sure that they are making some research on the subject. If they realize that they could do it in a secure way, without hurting the economy and make a profit on it? They will do it.

I heard my own nation was looking into the possibility of it, CBDC is definitely exactly this. If my nation has their own stablecoin then I am sure that other nations will start to look into it as well. I have to accept that my nation is filled with crypto loving people and that is why it is easier for my nation to do something like this, because we have a lot of crypto traders that will use it, if your nation doesn't have too many crypto users then it may not happen there, but any nation with high crypto trader numbers will definitely eventually do it.
3537  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook Diem on the run for launch on: October 18, 2021, 09:30:09 PM
I believe that facebook libra or diem or whatever will not happen anytime soon. People assume that it will happen but I believe that it is not going to happen at all. I believe that the bigger chance here we are doing right now is the fact that we are going to probably face people who are not going to be making too much changes and facebook will not be able to do it if people do not care about it. They have such a huge social media presence and they own whatsapp and facebook and instagram which means that if you could send and receive money from these places with the help of them and then cash it out wherever you are living without too much fee as well then it will be great.

However, it is looking something a lot less possible the day moves on because it looks like there is a good chance people may not care, they need hype and go viral to make that happen.
3538  Economy / Economics / Re: USA inflation and crypto market cap on: October 17, 2021, 09:38:33 AM
It is obvious that there is a good situation right now where inflation is not going to be zero or even low. There is a good case that we are going to see official numbers that are lower than what people are feeling right now. Sure, the price for milk is not going down but the house prices, education prices and health prices are all skyrocketing compared to past and that is why inflation is a lot higher.

However, because of the price of apple, milk, bread and so forth doesn't go up too much they say that inflation is not too much. I believe there is a good chance that we are not going to see something that would be real and only fake numbers. This causes people to put more money into crypto because they do not want to lose their wealth and the value of the money, they have end up getting lower and that is why they want to buy bitcoin so that they could keep their value at a high level and not lose it right away because of inflation which makes the price of bitcoin go up.
3539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitage trading on: October 16, 2021, 08:09:34 AM
The price difference in some exchanges seems like it could make a profit. I'm just thinking, not sure. does it could really make any difference because if any transaction takes more time then any trader will lose the initial money.
Yeah, most of the times the price differences are due to unusual reasons like:
1. When an exchange stops depositing and withdrawing for a particular trading pair.
2. When a trading pair is nearing its delisting timeline, will start showing gaps in prices.
3. Wallet sync problem (this related to reason 1).
4. When a sudden pump or dump happens and low volume exchanges start showing gaps in price levels.

Then when we could go for arbitrage opportunities?
When some exchanges are trading on premium prices for popular trading pairs then you may go for it as it got less risks.

When premium prices happen?
When a country regulate/ban crypto or crypto related activities, then traders will have limited options and funds to trade with. Then they will come forward to pay premium prices. This had happened in recent past when Nigiria banned cryptos and India federal bank restricted exchanges to make use of bank accounts for crypto related business.
3540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Now the price is bullish on: October 16, 2021, 05:42:44 AM
at a bullish time like this, of course in our minds we want to participate as soon as possible to get a profit as soon as possible, but our logic must play, so that we continue to analyze carefully, the risks and rewards so that we remain ready to face whatever will happen to the market.
I believe that people who are smart enough already started to let go some instead of buying, however holding is fine as well, yet buying right now doesn't make sense because it is already high right now. You know what the problem with that is? If you end up buying when it is low and sell when it is high then you are not going to be able to make a profit when everyone else starts doing the same thing as well.

People need to sell when it is going down so that you would make a bit of a profit as well, otherwise the price wouldn2t drop. Think about it, if the price goes down, that means people are selling so when you say "buy low and sell high" there needs to be some people to make it low, and that means people sell when it is going down to make it low and hit the bottom. Same goes for the top as well because it is going up since people are buying at the top as well.
