2681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 24, 2022, 12:42:16 AM
The difference between 5th Arsenal and 6th United is 11 points. That shows you how top heavy Premier league has been for a while but at the very least each position got close to each other. Like City vs LFC, but then Spurs vs Arsenal and then United vs West Ham. These are all great things to watch for us.

You know why premier league is the best league in the whole world? Aston Villa would not gain ANYTHING at all if they won, it would not mean anything, they would be like 1-2 spots higher but that's it and wouldn't really matter. Instead, they won 15 million pounds by losing, because City won and Grealish and all of that (everyone knows this already). Yet, even with that in mind, they almost managed to beat City and make them lose the title, this is why Premier league is so awesome.
2682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 22, 2022, 08:48:29 PM
It's going to be such a wonderful day for sports lovers. Unfortunately games are all at the same time, wish they did it back to back so we would watch Liverpool game first, probably see them win, and they would be ahead of City for just a short while, then we would watch City game and they would probably win too but it would be fun to watch with a "what if" situation at hand as well.

I do not know what's going to happen but I know that I can't watch both at the same time. I did that double screen on the television before to watch F1 and a match before, and it wasn't really good, I kept on missing both instead of watching both and wasn't a fun thing so I will just pick one instead.
2683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UST will re-peg by next week Do Kwon interview on: May 22, 2022, 05:01:29 PM
There is small chance for something like this to happen. I get that Do Kwon needs to say stuff like this because he is the project owner and he needs to try to keep the hope up, the more help he gets the easier it would be for him, he would prefer it if people would buy it and make it repegged themselves without him doing anything, so he is trying to make it liked more and more and trying to gain some attention.

But, we all know that it won't work that way, we all know that it is going to be a problem. So, we should be focusing on the reality and not the dream he has and not the thing he wants us to do because that won't be working.
2684  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🌴Summer Hangout event for $500 000🌴| 🎁 Free BTC, BNB & BFG on: May 21, 2022, 08:29:11 AM
The summer hangout version is not bad, they are doing the same thing as they used to do with the coinhub and the partnership, because that isn't the real thing because it's related to betfury token and not the casino. That could be the most important thing and I would guess that the best thing about this version is that they are doing something great about their current situation but at the end of the day at least they got something regarding the casino part as well, so the token part is not the important thing.

I prefer that they would focus a lot more on the casino and they did that which is an awesome deal. I hope that they will continue with that.
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto crash (LUNA/UST) on: May 21, 2022, 06:51:28 AM
Market definitely reacting to this situation as well. Luna would go down a ton and it would mean that we are going to end up with something that would be a bit of a problem for everything else as well. I get that it is not going to be that much of a trouble right now as of the current moment but it is definitely not something that would be a problem for that quickly.
We just need to realize that it is not a quick thing that made Luna go down like this, sure the crash was quick, it was a single day that made it go down a lot, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that was coming for a long time and it was obvious to all the people who knew that it would happen. I knew that algorithmic stable would not work and never invested into it for example.
2686  Economy / Speculation / Re: A crash where Bitcoin wasn't responsible should be treated as such on: May 21, 2022, 05:30:12 AM
This is quite important to notice. Bitcoin didn't had any problems at all, we started with FED interest rate, and we had Luna crash at the same time, combine those two things together and we are looking at something that would be a big deal for the whole market and not something that would be problem for anyone in the long run.

So, we just need to understand that bitcoin has been great for a long time, this could be something related to other stuff and that could be the reason that we need to understand that bitcoin is irrelevant in this topic. Just focus on what we can recover and bitcoin has been going up right now and that is a lot better.
2687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin & US stock markets on: May 20, 2022, 09:40:30 PM
Of course they are very related, because the reason why they dropped was very related as well. The resemblance comes from the fact that FED increased the interest rate, which means that all of the world got impacted from it and that was normal. I understand that there were situations where it is not a deal that impacts both of them the same in certain dates, but there are also situations where both of them are impacted the same as well.

For example when pandemic hit, both of them went down because it impacts them both and terribly, but when money was printed a lot, then both went up a lot because it was beneficial for both. These are the situations, sometimes both got affected equally.
2688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 20, 2022, 04:32:54 PM
I do not get how you can say that Mercedes is doing better, I mean look at the results, we have 2 Ferraris at the top, and Max is right behind them, we have VIPs not doing great obviously but he wasn't given that order, he just did some testing and that's all. This should be something that shows you that we are talking about Mercedes still being third team in the race right now. Sure, VIPs could have been low, but Hamilton was 6th in the tests as well.

We also need to remember that this was a test run, it is a practice and it means nothing. Even qualifying is not that important anymore, the fastest team last race was Ferrari and they lost very quickly.
2689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the new NFT series? on: May 20, 2022, 01:29:02 PM
Why focus your investments to NFT at this point? I mean it is not an investment to focus making money on. If you really want to, if your entire focus is on making a profit based on NFT, then do not look at collections. What you should do is, find good real artists who are turning their projects to NFT, that would be a lot better.

I personally believe that the best thing to do would be finding a great painter, or any designer, or anyone who is followed by millions, an incredibly loved person, and find their works on NFT markets on their social media. I did something similar once and didn't buy because I was afraid, but that 4k dollar drawing went for 80k just a few weeks later, not because of any NFT reasons, but because the seller was THAT famous person, the person gave the value to it.
The difference is that when you have a coin, the price of it is the same for everyone and there won't be any problem and you know what you are going to get. However, when you are investing into an NFT collection and minting at release along with everyone else, there is a chance you could make a huge profit with it very quickly, how?

Well, simply if you mint the rarest one of that collection, even while the low level bad ones go for 50 bucks, the best one (the rarest one) could go for 10k+ or more. And that means that if you spend 100 bucks on it, then you may get the half back (or maybe not even that much) or you could get 10k for it if you are super lucky. That’s gambling and people are doing that right now with the NFT world.
2690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna CEO Taking Lone walk To Luna 2.0 on: May 20, 2022, 11:54:36 AM
He is going to be trying his best to keep the few followers he has and try to make it into something much bigger. I have to say, it's going to be quite difficult to do it, and we are going to face what could be crashing of a person along with the coin as well.

Do Kwon will not go down easily, he is not just going to go "oh I used to have a coin that topped at top 10 and then it crashed so hard that I am just a crypto worker nowadays earning a salary and not famous at all", people do not go from those highs to suddenly lows. So, he will try his best until he can't anymore until he is totally gone, and that will hurt him, and all of his followers.
2691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin was outperformed by Alternative coins on Tuesday! on: May 20, 2022, 10:28:30 AM
The truth is that some people only care about the short term profits they can get and nothing more, it is because of this that they can make such superficial comparisons and see that an altcoin has outperformed bitcoin during the last 24 hours and somehow think that something like this can be sustained, when we know that is not possible and in most of those cases when you see a coin that is pumping it is not rare to see that coin dumping during the next days and then never recover from such crash.
I believe that we should be doing a bit better when compared to people who are doing short term profits when long term people like me are considered.

I get that they may or may not make a big profit in the short term, and even if they do like 2x in the short term, if they keep doing that they are not going to be making that kind of profit many times back to back to back, eventually they will lose money and that will be a bit of a trouble for them. Whereas when you are doing a long term investment then even though it drops time to time, you will be in profit if it has been a while since you invested. Imagine someone who invested 5 years ago, they would be in big profit even after the big drop we had recently.
2692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: May 20, 2022, 08:39:30 AM
This isn't sideways for bitcoin standards. We have seen 48k last month, then 40k, then 26k, now over 30k. That is not a sideways, sure for the past few days we have been a bit sideways but we can't move breakout every single day, we need to end up with a bit of a challenge and that should be something a bit better.

I believe that we should not be doing anything that should be sideways at this moment just because it has been for a few days. I believe that we should be something that is a bit of a big deal, the ups and downs are constant and that is why I believe that we should be careful about the current situation since it could do anything.
2693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does Luna( Terra) worth to invest? on: May 20, 2022, 06:40:14 AM
I know that most people will take a chance at what we are seeing right now. You may end up profiting if it goes up just a little, because right now the price is so low that even just a bit of money could push it to a high level, and that is what people are hoping for.

But at the same time, I do not agree that it will do as great as people imagine it will. This is why I try to stay away from it as much as possible. Why would I trust Luna at this stage? They have already proven to be a failure, and people are saying that they are willing to risk their money for a good return, why would you risk your money for a good return? Makes no sense to me at all.
2694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 19, 2022, 09:55:23 PM
I have moved past this buying itch recently. I already bought at around 28k+ levels, under 29k of course, at around 28400's and that was good enough. However, I have to say that I could have bought lower, and this is enough for me and I will just wait. I had a lot of purchases beforehand, so this isn't my first, I bought from all over the place, from much lower much higher, everywhere.

So, it is going to be fine for me to keep holding it for many years to come. I will never go down to loss if you ask me, it would be very difficult and bitcoin needs to crash beyond wildest expectations for it. Hence holding it doesn't seem too much of a difficulty to me.
2695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy and Custom Tradingview Indicators on: May 19, 2022, 09:28:48 PM
I would like to warn everyone that even though this could maybe work, I have to say that there is a chance that it may not work at all as well. This is why I believe that we wouldn't be able to do something wrong if we get it free, but be careful just in case.

We do not know OP and we do not know if he is a great trader or not, and if he is a great one then he will teach you something amazing, but if he is not a great one then it is going to be a terrible situation to be in. So, just focus on getting better yourself if you can, but if you are getting a free thing, just check what type of deal it is and if it would work or not.
2696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trying to identify the bottom.. on: May 19, 2022, 08:44:05 PM
I agree that if we are looking at the bottom of the bottom then we could assume that it could go down even more but I doubt that would happen. I am guessing that there is a good case to be made about the situation not being that much of a trouble, it looks like we are going to end up with something that is a bit more dangerous and would probably be looking at the wrong side of things.

If we are looking for a profit, then we can't wait for the bottom of the bottom, we need to end up with something that is risky since we may end up with something that will be hitting and then skyrocket back directly and that won't happen that easily.
2697  Economy / Economics / Re: Cooperative investing between small investors on: May 19, 2022, 06:50:49 PM
This has been something that I suggested for a very long time in my nation. I have tried to do something like this for real estate, because buying a land, and then building a building on top of it costs about 1 million dollars in my nation, and you could build one big apartment with 16 flats in it, which costs about 300k each, in that case you could divide it to 16 and each person would spend about 60k give or take, and would have a house worth 300k.

Then they could repeat that as much as they want, you could literally do it 5 more times if you do it just one time. But, unfortunately people are never trusting others and the people who will be leading that cooperative.
2698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins achieve goals I set? on: May 18, 2022, 10:01:46 PM
It is quite a bad situation if you set goals for coins, because you should not do that at all, it makes no sense at all. The best thing you could do with the current situation is that you could end up with buying and holding and not caring about the price.

If you set a goal and it reaches those goals and you sell them then it keeps going up even more then you would be upset. I had that, I invested into bitcoin way back in time and when it reached 20k I sold it, and paid of all of my debts and I was super happy, and we reached 68k few years later. So if I kept it, and paid my debt regularly, I would still have a bit of debt, but at least I would have 3x more than my debt, instead of just enough to pay the debt.
2699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the new NFT series? on: May 18, 2022, 08:51:06 PM
NFT series are getting super risky at this point, because they are not as valuable as it used to be and most of them are dropping under the mint price so even if you just get it as soon as it could be minted, you could be ending up with a loss.

Back in the day minting was such a hard thing that people would work very hard to get whitelisted first, and only 10k would get whitelisted and each would get one whereas tens of thousands of people applied and as soon as it was mintable, people would end up minting it and make a ton of money as soon as they sell it. These days nothing like that is happening and it is such a horrible situation to invest currently.
2700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you live through the last bear market ? If so, what did you learn ? on: May 18, 2022, 07:22:56 PM
I have experienced through 2012-2013 period, then 2014 peak and 2015 crash, then 2017 peak and 2018 crash as well. I have been here probably during almost all big crashes and I have faced them all. At the first ones I saw that as a dangerous thing, and since bitcoin was a new thing as well, I thought "oh here it dies" and that was a mistake that I made, biggest mistake of my entire life, because if I bought there, I would have 500+ bitcoins right now easily.

When 2018 came in, I realized that sometimes it crashes and it is not a big deal, I held and did not sell too much, well I sold during 2017 peak which was awesome and then bought it back during 2018 but then held it all the way to 3.5k prices. This time around, not only I held, but I am also buying as well.
