2581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling a Website or Other Online Project(s) for BTC on: June 18, 2022, 05:53:36 AM
Escrow is definitely the way to go, if you pay a small sum as a donation or maybe they charge you for it, then you can work with legendary accounts that everyone trusts. There are many people willing to escrow here, some of them charge you for it, and some say they are free but it is reasonable to give them some donations for helping you out, usually not a big amount of course.

Selling an online business, or a website in the crypto world is not easy, there are SO many people who are doing the same that it is a saturated market, which means that something that could worth more in another sector, could worth a lot less in the crypto world because of how many there are out there being sold and not getting bought.
2582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Will Not Devalue To Zero on: June 17, 2022, 08:38:16 PM
Honestly it feels like there are people who are defending ETH or any other coin, for absolutely no reason sometimes. Like who said that it will be zero? There are millions who bought ETH and hold it, and maybe there are a few people, even if a few thousand people who may say something like this, but that means nothing compared to millions who own ethereum.

So at the end of the day, what you are trying to defend is something that already doesn't need defending anyway. Doesn't matter, you can keep doing it because it is good for ETH because investors see defenders and that is always a good thing, but know that it really doesn't need something like this at all.
2583  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank cards: where have all the numbers gone? on: June 17, 2022, 07:29:23 PM
Cards used to be easy to use? I remember clearly when we had machines that were huge, you would give your card, they would swipe something huge above it, they would give you a paper, you signed it, and then it took to the bank to see if you had that kind of money, then it cameback positive, and you signed another and leave. That was the first ever credit card process in my nation, of course it became easier after that but "used to" is an open ended thing.

I believe it's easy right now, I just show the card to a machine and leave, contactless, no pin no nothing and it allows me to spend it in a second. So, right now is definitely looking like the best time.
2584  Economy / Economics / Re: Ray Dalio bets $6.7 billion against European stocks on: June 17, 2022, 06:49:51 PM
Looking at the recession upcoming soon, this one isn't really a big "smart" move.
I mean it is smart because he would make money from it, but it is not something we can't see coming from a mile away.

Even today, I can tell you that stocks of European companies will fall down drastically in the next year. Do I have money to use it like that? Of course not, so I can't really take advantage of it, the amount of money I have would only be enough for depositing my money into a broker account that allows shorting it, and not have any money left to actually short it. But if you are rich like this guy, it is no-brainer to short the stock market because next year will be bloody for sure.
2585  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: June 17, 2022, 05:22:31 PM
Retirement money used for crypto is the most logical thing ever. Assuming you are 20 year old right now, keep investing each time you get a salary (considering you get paid monthly) means that you will be able to invest for 40 years, so for 480 times. Not only does this make it automatically DCA as well, it also means that in 40 years god knows what bitcoin will be.

This is why I believe that it is quite important for people to invest into bitcoin for their future. When you are 60, you will retire as a very very wealthy man, in fact, if you start doing it that early, you may retire even earlier if you want to, maybe at 40-50 years old because bitcoin may bring you that much money.
2586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 17, 2022, 04:36:36 AM
If we knew how long it would take, then we would sell everything at exact moment it will recover, and just buy bitcoin. I am actually quite close to try to convince my wife to sell our car. It would be difficult to do and I would fail, she would never sell our car, but I would at least give it a try.

Think about it, we are close to 20k right now, and 40k is not that far away for us in time period, which means that it could be done. This is why I am not entirely sure what to do, maybe it would be possible for all of us to make that type of crazy move? I could literally turn our car price into x2 with it if I sold it and bought right now.
2587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC (or crypto in general) on: June 16, 2022, 09:18:25 PM
It's clear that nobody really knows when bear will happen or when bull will happen. We are just making predictions and most of us are usually wrong about that too. Just realize that the best thing you could do right now would be to make sure that you are holding and not making crazy moves, that would mean that you will be profiting in the future when the price goes up.

Anything outside of that would be a crazy guess and you will not be making a profit most likely. So just hold, wait, and eventually you will make a profit, do not do anything crazy that could risk all of your money, and this way you will be able to say that you waited and did the right thing.
2588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 16, 2022, 08:39:48 PM
It's going to be a big big night. I can't really wait for it, hopefully we would end up watching one more game, because it has been an unbelievable finals. I love watching these two teams going head to head, they certainly know how to make it work, and entertaining.

I can watch the replays of the whole series again right now and still be happy about it, and I just watched them very recently so not like I would be watching 2016 series movie (which I loved) or anything. Let's see which team will be better today, it's going to be quite good, it is going to be nearly in the morning for me, but I will wake up and watch it because I can't miss this, it could be the last game.
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: June 16, 2022, 04:48:42 PM
All the ones that will happen this month already happened, I do not care what the results was because I didn't wager much to any game and the ones that I did usually lost, only one win out of all the bets I made. I keep saying to myself that I will not wager on these, makes no sense to keep it going.

Let's face it, it is not going to be something that teams will care too much about because there is nothing giving them any advantage at all, makes no sense to keep it going that way. I have to say that the fact that England played this badly could be used as a proof that no team really cares about this that much, maybe only lower level teams that try to get their rare win.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Airdrop Sharing on: June 15, 2022, 08:10:56 PM
Don't spend your time with these. Airdrops are almost always things that will worth nothing, or worth very little. If you have so much free time, I guarantee you that finding or trying to find online work and being an employee would be a lot better. I know that people think they can't find a job, but if you grind and apply to anything and build a great resume (cv) then you will be able to find a job eventually.

This will result with you getting hired eventually, and even if you get fired one day, you will have a great resume entry again and reapply to everywhere again. Look for jobs, even signature campaign is a great way to make money for many poor nations.
2591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is million token dead? on: June 15, 2022, 06:20:18 PM
I have to say, it never really stood a chance to begin with, why would you invest into such a coin? Don't get me wrong, I never really say this to people directly, but when people invest into these type of tokens, maybe they learned something from their mistakes? I mean it is clear that it was NEVER  a good decision to invest into it. Yet, even with that in mind, some people still invested into it, which makes absolutely no sense to me.

This means that either you will make the same mistake again which would be bad, or you will learn from this and maybe not make the same mistakes again? That would be the ideal situation for people to be in. I feel like this may not be a right time for buying more altcoins; we must wait for some more time for not losing compared to failing to catch exact bottom price levels.
2592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Very important to do our research: Avalanche [AVAX] is a capped asset on: June 15, 2022, 12:31:10 PM
I have never seen a shill post about a coin that is in top 20. I mean half of what you said are already know, and the other half are data that is shown in charts so to make it clearer and understandable.

But, why would you need this? Like what is the point of it? DO you want confirmation? I mean it is 16th in the ranks last I checked, which means that it is already liked by many people, thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people like it and that is why they bought it, maybe over a million who knows the real number. So, I think you do not have to shill it here, it's like.. one of the most known coins out there and have a great product anyway.
2593  Economy / Economics / Re: Wage gap between CEOs and US workers jumped to 670-to-1 last year, study finds on: June 15, 2022, 09:50:45 AM
The biggest joke of the article is the fact that Lowe, spent 13 billion dollars on repurchasing stocks, instead of giving some of it back to the workers that make 23k a year. I have to say, it is just terrible to see companies caring about their long term profits more than they care about workers.

However, there is a big "nowork" culture growing in the USA because of this, people are leaving their works in bunches, we have seen this becoming a huge huge deal in the past, and I believe that it will create a big trouble for companies as well.

The minimum salary someone can make is still 7.5 dollars an hour if I am not wrong, which is about 60 bucks a day on 8 hours a day, 300 bucks a week if you work 5 weeks and take weekends off like a regular person should, times 52 weeks a year, makes it 15.6k as a minimum wage. That is starvation, not just poverty, but starvation.
2594  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's latest decline was triggered by quantum computing headlines on: June 15, 2022, 09:05:24 AM
I am not saying ongoing bear market wasn't because of that news, it could be because of that, however I know plenty of people who sold not because of that at all, and didn't even know this happened. There could be a bit of correlation but would be naive to think that just because there was headlines about one thing, it must be 100% because of that. Between whales selling, and people panicking and many other things, I am guessing that there were at least a dozen reasons for it to go down, and this could be one of them.

Of course, this doesn't suddenly remove quantum out of the pool of reasons neither, but to say that it started because of this would be a bit too much emphasis on quantum computing along with the post consequences of pandemic which is hyper inflation.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the end for NFTs? on: June 15, 2022, 04:18:51 AM
I am able to recall those times, it was definitely a weird period and I still cannot believe that we are not that far from it, just using other stuff for it. I understand that it is not going to be exactly the same, but all of these NFT and whatever comes next, started from the era of ICO because that was the first time people started to pay other people to create projects, that changed everything.

Nowadays it is normal, but before ICO that was a weird thing because we had decentralization. Today, it is such a normal thing to give your money to others just so they would create some new projects and that makes absolutely zero sense to me overall but got practiced to what is the trends of this crypto space for both knowledge and for making profits.
2596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 14, 2022, 07:44:48 PM
It's really fine to see it at this level. I am not saying that it should always stay at this level, but at the very end, we should realize that 1300 is still quite close to previous ATH, and that's the important thing. We are at a level where we call the previous 2018 ATH a big fall, a crash, something to worry about.

I feel like I remember it being under 100 dollars just like a year or two ago, how could I feel terrible about this price? Plus, whenever a hype happens and prices go up, ETH is the number one coin people use to create projects, and it becomes so much used that gas fee becomes huge as well. So, I have absolutely no worry about it at all.
2597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Huge Down from ATHs. what will happen the next ? on: June 14, 2022, 07:24:15 PM
I have to say 90% is a bit too much for some of these. I get the 70% and even maybe 80% ones like some of them are ok, but anything above 80% is destined to be a bit too bad.

I say 70% to 75% right now is the max I can accept. Look at btc, that is just +65, or ETH which is a very high 75+, bnb is doing fine with 67% and so forth. XRP on the other hand, that one had the ATH in 2018, I can tell you that much and you should understand what we are looking at ,they didn't even have their ATH during 2021 or anything like that, it was back in 2018. I guess we know which ones are better to invest right now and which ones we should be staying away from.
2598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff Advices Don't Buy the Dip on: June 14, 2022, 06:38:43 PM
He is not 100% wrong. Just because there will be a recession doesn't mean that we will be doing terrible in the future, but there is a high chance that it could happen. Crypto was our way out of the markets and that means when there is a recession, we should be going high because people should be moving further away from the fiat world and move into crypto, and that was literally the reason why it was created, literally on 2008 crisis as well.

However, there is a good chance that people will not see this, just like they keep missing out many benefits of crypto, and instead opt for something that would be a little bit more like running away from it, I wouldn't be shocked.
2599  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom is almost in on: June 14, 2022, 05:55:15 PM
By the looks of this, I feel like there could be some sort of recovery coming very soon. I am not saying that we will peak again very soon, that is not going to happen, but a recovery to 30k doesn't seem like out of question for the time being.

I remember the 2018 period and there was a good recovery period there where we want to 5k+ range, and that means from 3.5k to 5k is a bigger increase than 23k to 30k, but it could definitely happen and be similar because of higher money required to do that. I do not want to convince anyone, I am not a rich person who knows how to trade and be rich because I am not rich which shows I am not a good advice giver, but 30k definitely seems quite possible for now.
2600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto cycle to start by Q4, 2022 on: June 13, 2022, 08:44:34 PM
When FED interest rates do not go up, that means recession will be at a halt, not like we will be in a great shape, but we won't be going down anymore, after that it is all up to us, and not just an automatic recovery.

What Mike is missing is that if we want bitcoin to recover, we need to buy it, right now people are selling because of the financial situation all over the world, but at the same time, we can't really recover right away just because the recession stops. This is why we need to explain this to everyone, and make them understand that the moment FED stops, is the moment to buy, and we need to talk about this for months before it happens.
