Lol the cartoon is great. I have to say, winning UCL matters of course, but when you offer someone 120 million to stay and 60 million each year he stays, thats a bit of an overkill, you gotta accept that.

I do not know what Real was ready to offer, but I am 100% sure that it wasn't even 50% of that, this is the difference we are talking about. Could they offer 30 million a year? They possibly could, but in that case they wouldn't come close to 60 million for signing bonus neither. Not like they have no money, they offered 180 million for him last year, meaning his signing bonus plus one year price would have been paid already, and they could have looked for the other season later on.
2622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which timeframe do you use for day trading? on: June 08, 2022, 05:51:12 PM
You have to realize that, the best time to trade is your own time and nothing more. Since crypto is a 7/24 thing, you could find any timeframe in the day where you could make a profit. I have to say when it is "daytime" for Europe, it is still getting a bit of an action, but do people in the USA trade it a lot? sure they do, or Asia? Sure, they do.

This is a proof that we are in a situation where things are not really that much of a trouble for anyone and you could trade during any time frame. But, you need to pick one where you are awake and also not tired or sleepy, so it can't be very early morning when you wake up, or very late at night where you need to sleep.
2623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: indicators on: June 08, 2022, 09:08:07 AM
As someone rightly said, 21 hours is definitely not enough to watch a coin if you’re using the BB indicator and that is simply because currently there’s no visible uptrend or downtrend on the market, it’s just moving downwards. You need to understand that most importantly, the time frame you set actually determines how much longer you have to wait and the idea of it rising back up after hitting the 30% mark is not actually a guarantee as conditions for such could change at any time.

Since you’re new to the system, I must advise that you spend more time understanding the movement of the market and how it affects price. If I must emphasize again, 21 hours is not even enough to watch a coin grow if you mean business, if this persists then you must need to change your strategy.
2624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Guarantee Coin ? What you think on: June 08, 2022, 08:23:26 AM
This has been tried a billion times already, since gold is not internationally exchanged as easy as USD, it doesn't work. The idea of USDT is that we could just give it and get the real dollars into our bank accounts, meaning that we could cash in on that anytime we want on 1 to 1 ratio and that will work.

You can try to find any method you want, but it will never be gold backed, not going to be 1 ounce to 1 ounce ratio at all, because there are international laws that prevents a company to give gold to someone from another nation. Hence, we should always consider this idea as a pipe dream that will never work and should not even be considered.
2625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimism project on: June 08, 2022, 07:22:21 AM
I have checked it after seeing it here a few times, and I have to say it doesn't really bring in any new features that would make it unique enough to go up too much. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad one, it just doesn't really capture anything new for the market. This is why I believe that we should not really be making a big deal out of this at all.

I get that we are going to end up with some coins that will be brand new and then take the place of the old ones, all the top 10 ones right now aside from 3-4 of them will be replaced one day, and that is what people are looking for, the ones that will replace, but optimism doesn't look like that one.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 07, 2022, 10:01:02 PM
I have wagered with bots, and even autobetting on the websites itself, there is no "profitability" in any bot at all because it is a casino. What part of "house always wins" people do not understand? You can use whatever you want, you can bet anyway you want, you can use any strategy you want, and in the end you are going to end up with a loss.

All you have to do right now would be to make sure that you are betting with money that you are willing to lose, and have fun. The house edge of 1% will always end up with you losing money, and that is the profit margin that the casinos have, and if you ever think that you won't, and you will profit, you will end up upset.
2627  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price suddenly dropped from $ 31K on: June 07, 2022, 09:05:31 PM
I get that many people may think that we are in a bear market but I feel like we are in a stagnant market and I am tired of saying this. Bear market is when everything is down and goes down, we already lived through that already. We are in a market where everything is about the same and nothing changes. That's not a bad thing of course and we need to just learn how to live with it until we reach the bull period.

If the prices crash to 25k or lower then I would understand the frantic fear of crypto prices going down and the bear market being here, but we haven't been under 28k for a long time now, so we could just relax and look at the future.
2628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 07, 2022, 06:41:48 PM
I understand 4, because the market could be doing terrible and the project may fail. However, as a person who has been here for a decade or so, and been part of dozens of projects, from a very small scale translation stuff, to actually being a co-partner to it as well, I can tell you one thing that ruins all of the projects; centralization.

All of the projects are centralized these days and not only that is a problem but the reality is that investors do want it to be centralized as well, like you could build a project and let it be, but then they will end up with telling you do more, investors will ask the team to improve it, meaning centralization.
2629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Luna'cy: the crash of Terra Luna on: June 07, 2022, 06:09:23 PM
I understand that something major changed in the crypto world when this happened, something that was 80+ dollars one day, ended up being less than 0.0001 cent the other day, so it is definitely a big deal. However, the idea of "what if it just turned to 1 dollars!!! only 1 dollars!! it can do that right???" needs to stop. No it can't, and no it won't. There is no situation where we will see it happen and we need to move on from it already.

I personally never owned any Luna because I knew how algorithm based stables worked, and I will never get anything that they will ever do in the future neither, not going to own that weird new luna 2.0 they created neither.
2630  Economy / Economics / Re: Block Report: Bitcoin: Knowledge and Perceptions on: June 06, 2022, 09:53:55 PM
The "knowledge feeds optimism" basically is another fancy way of saying "if you know what bitcoin is all about, you would buy it, because if you know it, then you know it will go up". Basically anyone who understands bitcoin knows that they should invest asap. This is a good report, I highly support it, it is quite good to know that bitcoin is something that should be loved, and supported by others that say the same thing as well.

Knowledge is more valuable than money, if you know the right things, then you will never need money ever again in your life, but knowledge without a use is not a good thing, so you should know things that will benefit you, not useless facts.
2631  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: India resells Russian oil to the European Union. on: June 06, 2022, 08:22:16 PM
A magnificent move really. I do not know much about this deal, but if it is true then it is definitely a great deal and should be utilizing the Russia sanctions very well this way.

If India didn't, then some other nation would have, and Russia is making money even though there are sanctions thanks to this "via" deals as well. Take whatever you can from the deal because by liberal policies and ideology, if you are not going to do it because it is "unethical" then someone else would, and they would live a better life than you. Plus, India is not putting a gun against anyone's head, if you want to do it, then do it, if you don't, then stay away from them.
2632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had 50k and it was life or death situation to triple that money to pay... on: June 06, 2022, 01:21:51 PM
Honestly, it would be a terrible situation to be in such a dilemma. However, I would probably just use the 50k that I already have to pay for the part that I could, and then try to get a loan or something for the other 100k, or even sell some stuff that I own to do it, car, house, even ps4 or clothes if I have to, doesn't matter.

Maybe you may not have possessions that worth 100k, which happens, but it would still be better. Because, if you try to turn your 50k to 150k in order to save your father, and if you fail that, then you could end up with zero, and God forbids if something happens to your father, you will blame yourself. That is not something you would want on your soul. Get loan as high as you can, and sell the things you can.
2633  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Ruble Surpasses Brazil’s Real as Year’s Best-Performing Currency on: June 05, 2022, 04:01:29 PM
People in Russia do not see Dollar as "worthless", that is just a fake news and a lie to promote the "awesomeness" of Russia and nothing more. You need to realize that poor people of Russia are really poor and I mean like 100-150 bucks is not even the case, they make nearly nothing, because unemployment is a real problem.

So, people do believe the dollar is valuable, I live with bunch of Russians here where I live, people who ran away from Putin’s nation because they hate him, so believe me, Russia is not filled with people who are brainwashed. Sure there are plenty of those as well, but not all of them are like that, some see the reality.
2634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good for future hold? on: June 04, 2022, 11:02:33 AM
I do not know much about this coin, but at the same time I don’t think that there is anything wrong with it. I have seen people who are in support of it, and have also checked it out on coinmarketcap.com, it seems to have a decent community who strongly believes in it. And also the market cap seems to be quite alright, as it is around $10 billion, and it also ranks in the top 300 (at the position #201) coins in the market.

So, I wouldn’t really say anything about it yet because I do not have much information on it, but if you have really taken your time to do your research on this coin and you believe it is good, then you can go ahead to buy it. But don’t just go for this alone, there are also other crypto currencies in the market for you to diversify your investment with.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 04, 2022, 05:07:34 AM
Bayern are interested in Napoli striker Viktor Osimhen, who is being considered as a possible replacement for Lewandowski. Napoli estimates Osimhen at 100 million euros, this is a rather large amount, I don’t know if Bayern will agree to give such an amount. Most likely, Bayern will soon want to sell Gnabry as well, since he does not want to renew his contract with the club, and his contract ends in a year.
I don't think that Osimeh is a good good replacement for Lewandowski, the premier league will be a better place for him because I believe that he will have more playing time when join any of the big clubs in epl who are bidding for him unlike Bayern, if he move to bayern he might be considered as a second choice
I understand that Osimhen could be a good replacement, but why spend 100 million on a player you are not 100% certain about, when you have Lewandowski on your team. This is the same guy that we talked about winning Ballon D'or last season, and this season he was still the top goal scorer of Bundesliga as well.

I do not get all the talks about Bayern finally "getting rid of Lewa and getting someone young". Benzema is 35 and he is doing great as well, he won the UCL nearly by himself, would you sell him too? I feel like Lewa should be their stiker and they should not spend 100 million on a player like Osimhen. He is great, but they neither need him, nor should pay 100 million for him.
2636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: June 04, 2022, 04:48:07 AM
I understand both people, I mean you can pick ETH or you could pick ETH and that would be fine. However, there is a good reason for picking both of them and I do not think that we should be picking just one of them because we are looking at something that would be basically diversification and it would work out well for you. That is why I have both of them and I believe that it should be something that you should follow up as well.

I understand that you may not like the situation at hand but I fear that if you keep on picking just one coin then you should not be doing anything that would be terrible for you, it would be a bit of a worse situation.
2637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 03, 2022, 08:51:00 PM
I am super shocked, beyond shocked to be fair. Curry played such a great game, and Warriors still lost, more than that, they didn't even took a huge lead during the game neither. Normally, when Curry plays like that, other players play good enough to provide "something" that will make sure that they are up ahead a lot, especially in third quarter as we all know.

Celtics never let go, and they were always there no matter how much Warriors scored. Another amazing thing is that, normally Celtics plays via their guards and wings, and this game they put the ball a lot more closer to the rim knowing Warriors have a weak defense inside. Amazing work.
2638  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 03, 2022, 06:53:40 PM
I agree that June could totally be like sideways, we have been like that ever since we dropped to 30k levels, I can't remember the exact date when Luna deal happened but it has been a while now I suppose, at that point we dropped to 26k at the bottom but went to 32k and so far we have been moving up and down only a slight bit and I do not see us getting out of that zone anytime soon.

I feel like June and even July could be like that.  In order for us to go super high (or even lower) there needs to be something and nothing is happening right now in bitcoin ecosystem and for the foreseeable future nothing looks like could be done.
2639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More SOL outages = Price dump on: June 03, 2022, 05:55:18 PM
I still see people buying SOL though, that seems like a crazy thing. People have been forgetting that one of the greatest things about crypto is the decentralization and they are just letting things takeover and I do not understand why they let a team that controls the whole network would be a good idea to invest.

This isn't even just about the fact that it had an outage, it is about how the team can come in and fix things and leave again, that means they have a power. How would I know that they won't do something that would be sort of like scamming? I personally hope that people would finally realize the problem and stay away from sol.
2640  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 03, 2022, 04:42:14 PM
Another thing that may shock you, if you are making something like 1k dollar per month, then you would technically be richer than 99% of the people. Yes, you heard it right, if you make 12k a year after taxes, so like you would get 12k directly into your pocket every year to spend, then you are richer than 99% of the people.

So, this 1% is not as wild as you might think, that is global of course, in the USA that would be 400k a year for example, but not billions like some imagine. So the richest that gets richer right now, are the people who are making decent income that live a proper life. I am not super rich and have yachts and what not, I am a simple guy who can't even afford new pc right now, and I am richer than 99% of the world, think how sad that is.
