2561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: June 24, 2022, 08:05:20 PM
PSG is a bit further out if you ask me, City lost it very close during semi finals, last 2 minutes and two goals saw Real Madrid go further, if we remove those, we are going to see them doing much better. However, PSG is not like that, they lost to the same team so I cannot really blame them, but they have tied a lot of money into the team they have, so it is making their job harder to keep it going, you could remove one player from City and add another, doesn't matter who that player is, but if you remove some players from PSG, then they become horribly worse.

It would take a great manager, and I mean like a world star levels of manager to bring that team to its success, great roster, but definitely a ton of talking heads, a manager could set them straight.
2562  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoiners are protecting, while EU nations are destroying the environment on: June 24, 2022, 07:29:09 PM
^^This is very true, bitcoin is a danger to many rich people, and that means many powerful people who are in high places of politics also hates it since those rich people bribe them (or some nations have rich politicians directly without bribery but just taking the money directly from taxes) and all of this means that bitcoin needs to go.

If bitcoin and crypto goes well enough into the future, then these people will realize that they can't force people to use the fiat that they have an unfair advantage, and that is why people may run towards crypto, making those rich and powerful people, poorer and less powerful and that will cause a lot of trouble.
2563  Economy / Economics / Re: UK inflation hits new high of 9.1% as food and energy price surge persists on: June 24, 2022, 06:46:34 PM
It is going to take a while but the world will do better I can guarantee that. Banks are increasing the interest rate, which means that we are going to eventually see a situation where people will be putting most of that money into interest, and there won't be much money left in the market, meaning gas prices and food prices all of them would have to stay. They won't go down that easily, that would probably not happen, I am guessing that they will just not go up like it did for the past few months.

If we can handle that, then we are going to be doing something decent and it will definitely not be that terrible. If that's the case then food prices and all prices will stay, our wages will grow, and we will get used to all of this.
2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance signs Cristiano Ronaldo for exclusive partnership to push NFTs on: June 24, 2022, 05:49:39 PM
Maybe just a tad bit too late? I mean don't get me wrong there will be a billion fans out there who will be standing outside trying to get a feeling out of any of this. But, that doesn't change the fact that I would not be doing this just for the money, probably never for the money.

After all of that first initial hype is gone, and the "it's ronaldo nft!!" people already bought it, then we are going to have a calm period where it will probably not worth as much as it did initially. Plus if they did this like a year ago for example, it would have collected at least twice as much as they could now, still a lot of money today, but not nearly as much as it could have been.

Ronaldo is a guy that sold like 100+ million dollars in jersey sales last year alone, if you could get his jerseys sold that much, then I am sure that his NFT would probably get sold a lot as well. This is why it is going to be fine for now, but not a great idea in the long run.
2565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 23, 2022, 09:43:14 PM
I still can't really "understand" how they convince the other teams. Look I get it, the Noussair was a free one, that is understandable and that's okay, sometimes you get players from free transfer. But, how the hell do you get 100 million worth of mane and ryan, for just 50 million? Why do teams let Bayern take these players for such a cheap amount?

I would understand Ajax to a point if they were in financial crisis or anything and needed some money, but Liverpool is well known to be in big profit. Those guys are making a huge profit every single year, and they are winning many things and they are rich. So why give Mane for such a low amount compared to what he is really worth?
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enjin Coin enj price prediction (After the bear market in 2025) on: June 23, 2022, 09:03:35 PM
Enjin is basically an "engine", that is the thing that makes it so interesting. This is not really a "metaverse" coin but more like the engine for creating metaverse projects, allowing people to use Enjin to create games that would change the world. Of course not many projects pick it hence why it is not so high right now, but I have seen what could be done with it, I have seen the limitations of what enjin provides and that is much vaster than any other project that I have seen so far.

It means that if one day some great gaming company realizes this and uses it, then it will be awesome for them, if not then they will stay low for a long time until someone does or dies eventually.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 23, 2022, 07:20:18 PM
It is "possible" for Lakers to get Kyrie. There is talks that Kyrie talked with Lebron to smooth things over, we all remember how he forced his way out of Cavs which caused them to not be good at all, and eventually resulted with Lebron leaving.

I guess that Lebron and Kyrie didn't "hate" each other, but they were not friends neither, and this talk may have been about that. If they could find a way to connect Westbrook and KD, that would be weird, they had plenty of fights over course of many years during Durants Warriors years. So, this is a very drama filled trade talk, which has a history, don't know if all of that could be all agreed upon before they can do it.
2568  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation will not fall to 2% target for two years, Fed's Mester says on: June 23, 2022, 06:26:21 PM
It is normal to not fall to those levels that quickly. In fact, it could even hurt you if it hurts that quickly, meaning if the prices stay that way and do not go up, the growth would be stopped and that would hurt the economy as well, nobody would make a profit.

Definitely 2% is great, but it is great when it is there forever, if you could lock it for the next 100 years that would be insanely great. But if you go to 7%+ and your gas prices increase to a whole new record levels, then making the inflation 2% again could hurt more than it helps. This is why it needs to be dropping small by small, lower and lower, which will make sure that eventually it will be there but since it has been a while, everyone will be ready.
2569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Opportunities - Forget "When Lambo" on: June 22, 2022, 08:58:35 PM
I agree with buwaytrees here, it is usually a very easy thing to do. Some people have trouble with the whole long term holding things. I feel like it is the easiest way to make money, and it just feels like it is the opposite of hard, you literally do nothing while holding, holding is not a thing that you do, it is just the name we call to doing nothing.

There are some people who fail to do it, don't know why and how, but it just feels like they are not good at it at all. I have been doing DCA for a while as well, and I wish I started earlier, I would love to have a lot more right now, if I had money, I would buy bitcoin right now without a worry at all, it is as close to bottom as it gets anyway.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 22, 2022, 08:29:43 PM
Rapinha definitely worths a lot for Leeds, not because he worths more to other teams and they should pay more etc etc but at the same time if you pay what Raphinha really worths to Leeds, then how could they end up with a player that good, for the same money?

It would just straight up be facing the fact that he would be gone, and they would get a worse player, for near the same level of money. This is why I believe it's logical. On the other hand, Leeds is not doing that much of a team change all the time, they are decent but they really need to get better, last year they avoided relegation barely, this year they need to make it work a lot better.
2571  Economy / Economics / Re: UK inflation hits new high of 9.1% as food and energy price surge persists on: June 22, 2022, 07:24:44 PM
It is not going to go away. We are in a period where gas prices keep on going high, food goes up just because of that basically. You build a farm out of the cities, someplace where nobody lives, and then you need to use tractors which uses gas to collect those, then you put them on trucks and send them to cities, which causes the food prices go be high.

However, as long as there are no cheap oil, gas whatever prices anywhere then we are going to keep living this high priced world and it will not stop. Right now, the whole world is aware of the situation, and they can't really do anything right now, hence we just need to accept the fact that the world will be like this until all thing settled.
2572  Economy / Economics / Re: Micheal Salyor decalogue for a 10x Bitcoin Appreciation on: June 22, 2022, 05:43:12 PM
It is clear that Saylor has been bullish on bitcoin and a big maximalist for a long time. Why would we be shocked that he would talk about how it is much better.

I mean think about it, what other assets that you could own, which has a chance to bring you money as much as crypto could? I believe that he doesn't stop with bitcoin love, he loves a bit of other coins as well, but when you are handling billions of dollars, it is smarter to just invest into bitcoin since it is at the top and most trusted one, has the least risk as well. I believe that all the money they "lost" right now, will be fine because they will hold it as long as possible.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KSA Initiates Slot Arcades Investigation as Role Model Ad Ban Looms on: June 21, 2022, 09:08:03 PM
I wouldn't be really shocked if this spread to everywhere, it never made any sense to be fair. I mean influencers are something that could impact it, but why go towards influencers into casino instead of casino into influencer method? Instead of people who are famous appearing on a casinos ad, it should be an influencer promoting the casino on their page instead, that would be a lot better and profitable for them.

Look at drake and stake for example, we get to see drake gambling there plenty plenty of times and that is how it should be. In any case, dutch are a bit weird about gambling, they do not even allow pack opening in games like 2k and fifa.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: June 21, 2022, 08:33:22 PM
Maybe we should start this with some sort of poll as well? That way we will see who thinks who will win it this year. As with every year, I still think that City will play for the finals and there is a good chance they could win. Looking at how fired up Klopp was during this year's finals and the result, I feel like a result where LFC and City plays for the UCL finals would be amazing and insane.

I know that there is a good chance they could face each other before that happens, but if they don't, and face on the finals that would be awesome. Imagine a season where City and LFC decide the EPL winner on the last game, play FA finals against each other, and UCL as well. That would be dream of all EPL fan.
2575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency market is currently a hot spot for whales. on: June 21, 2022, 07:18:40 PM
Whales have money saved up aside, it is both liquid, and also things that are in assets which could be liquidated if they wanted to and could make a good profit from it as well. Like for example if you have tens of millions of dollars in just cash sitting then you are not really a proper rich person, the real rich person would have negative on their bank accounts because their money would be working somewhere for them, not sitting.

So, if we are talking about a bear market, they will overleverage their position and get some debt and put it here, because they know that they could pay that back with the income they have anyway, and price would go up faster than the repayment.
2576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why your alt didn't dump as much on: June 21, 2022, 06:30:49 PM
Alts certainly did drop, however another thing that I have observed is that btc/alt pairs usually didn't drop "that "much, some did a bit ,but nothing really crashed that much at the top. Most of them had a similar or close drops to btc levels. Meaning if bitcoin goes up 50% as well, then those alts could go up 50% too, and that would be a pretty good deal for them.

I am not saying that this is what is going to happen, but it is quite possible for sure. There are some like Luna for example, and few others, that crashed to oblivion and that is a big problem on their part, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is rare, and not the general market.
2577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PoS vs PoW later this year on: June 21, 2022, 05:40:52 PM
The increasing number of governments that require more and more renewable energy and the amount of consumption in mining world made it a bit of forced thing to go on in the future. ETH did not force themselves to do this, they took an early action because they are famous for being many many years in the work before they can actually implement something.

This resulted with them making the first initial steps a few years ago, and it will probably not end this year, questionable even for next year but will need to go there. This will allow everyone to keep on making money from staking something as awesome as ETH, and there won't be any need to sell to pay the electricity bills of mining, plus everyone will have more reason to buy now.
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 20, 2022, 09:43:33 PM
Charles actually did all he can at least for this race, this is what was people looked for in him. When he is fighting for the top place, he is always nervous and could make some mistakes, but when he is fighting for just positions, like top 5 or something then it becomes a lot easier for them.

I guess that it is not going to be pretty straight forward for them, just make sure that you do not get nervous and crackdown when you are leading, both the team and Charles get nervous I suppose because team makes a lot of mistakes as well. He will have a pretty good car for the next race, and he should be qualifying very well, I am guessing another Charles win "may" come soon.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH/BTC sees highest trading volume in over a year on: June 20, 2022, 08:31:43 PM
I really doubt that price would test anything under 0.04, not for the moment at least. It's going to be hard, and it's going to take a while but it will go up eventually. The range above 0.08 is basically just free real estate for it, if it could ever get there, it is going to break into the levels of "competition for top position" levels to be fair, and that is why I love ETH so much, at times it is really just half of what bitcoin is, which is insane I know and still far away, but that is as close as anything else came in history.

Let's wait and see, maybe it will go down, maybe it will go up, but to me it has all the incentive to go up for the time being (go up as in against btc, not dollars).
2580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: June 20, 2022, 04:44:59 PM
Unlike some people suggest that traders do not make profits with few months of waiting, that makes no sense to them. They buy and sell daily, multiple times in a day, which means that even a 100 dollar increase is a profit maker for them, or if it is going to just go down then shorting. This has been done by many many people so far, it is a risky business and you may lose a lot of money but in the end you are going to end up with a bit of a profit if you learn how to trade and that's all that matters to them.

If you buy at 20,000 for example and sell at 20,500 then you made a good chunk of profit, and if you do that twice or three times a day then you made a good income for yourself as well.
