2721  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy? . . . Nah, hang on a minute. on: May 13, 2022, 08:25:15 PM
It doesn't really require that much to find the good balance between the two, it will not be impossible to do it, but it will not be difficult neither. If you buy bitcoin at low, and sell it at high you will be doing good. Managing risk means that if you do it on Luna, or some other smaller ones that doesn't have a guaranteed situation then it will be difficult of course.

So, when you are doing "buy low, sell high" just make sure that you are doing with the good ones and not the bad ones. BTC, ETH, BNB all of these are fine for buying low and selling high, which you can do frequently inside one year and shouldn't be a problem because they go up and down constantly.
2722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 13, 2022, 06:25:16 PM
Lewandowski is 33 years old right now, he will be 34 next year when the contract is over, and he will be 35 in no time when playing there. I am not saying that it won't work, Benzema became the top scorer and assist maker in the league at the age of 35 so we know that age doesn't make you bad.

However, why would Barcelona get older players constantly and pay them a good salary, when that was the main reason why they had this financial crisis? I am not saying this won't happen, all I am saying is that it would be futile, and they need younger players, they may spend some more and get someone like 25 years old which would help them a lot more. I always suggested Inaki Williams for it.
2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna holders will get new token. on: May 13, 2022, 05:53:11 PM
As imagined, not only this is a wrong move, it is also not approved by anyone neither. Crypto can't be just taken back or do a rollback like nothing happened, something happened and there were many people who lost money during that period as well. All these new token ideas comes from the fact that creators want some more money, they will do a new one, hope that people will jump in, and they will take that money too.

There is a big chaos going on, even the smaller names inside the token lost a huge chunk of money, only one that earned anything from it is Do Kwon and that is why everyone is looking for a solution to it as quickly as possible.
2724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Terra Luna bringing the whole market down? on: May 13, 2022, 04:33:55 PM
For sure, there is no denying that at all. I mean it has been bringing it down for few days now and it looks like it's not going to stop anytime soon by the looks of it. It can't impact it that much anymore, all the money got out of it and it won't make that much noise to be fair.

However, what we need to do right now is to check what's going on and see if others could follow. If other coins follow suit then it could be terrible but if not then we are going to be fine. I think that there could be a few more projects that will crash after this, it looks like it's totally possible to repeat the action for at least 2 others but I hope that won't happen.
2725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: May 13, 2022, 03:59:07 PM
You do not, you don't know when it is the "right time", because if we ever did, then we would wait for it, buy it with all our money, sell it when it is the peak, and keep repeating that and we would be able to rival Elon Musk in a  few years. The reason we do not do this is the simple fact that market is unexpected and we never know.

So, what can you do? Well you could start with DCA, that way you will not be forced to spend all of your money at the "right time" but plenty of "good times" instead and make money that way, it will certainly help you and you will get better at trading and investing that way, because you will not be rushing into anything.
2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin is good to invest in right into? on: May 12, 2022, 09:56:00 PM
I would assume that the best one right now would be the one that could go up most with assurance given by the people. Like if you trust bitcoin, and you think that it will recover for sure, then it is the best one.

I believe it is bitcoin but some believe it is also eth, and bnb, and some others. Look at the drops, the coins that do not have truly strong support will go down a lot more, like how bitcoin dropped a lot less than SOL for example, which means that people trust bitcoin more than they trust sol which is normal of course. So, whenever you invest, invest into a coin that is better than all others and trusted to go back up, just like bitcoin.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 12, 2022, 09:34:30 PM
Considering Leipzig managed to pull through, Freiburg needs to at least keep that fifth position, not that they won't be able to, because they are good enough to do it, but it would be a difficult task and it would be very upsetting for the fans who expected 4th and possibility of a big cup, and then drop to 6th instead.

The money difference is a lot as well, being 4th must mean a lot more money than being 6th by the end of the year. That is at least FM thought me, I remember clearly fighting for 8th spot in premier league, which meant nothing in the grand scheme of things, but mattered to me because it meant more money given to me and more money to spend on transfers lol.
2728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 8 Suicides Have Been Confirmed Because of the $Luna Crash. Why did Luna crash? on: May 12, 2022, 07:44:18 PM
Some whales realized that after a certain threshold, Luna could do nothing to stop people from crashing it. I do not remember the exact amount but it was something like 350 million dollars if I am not wrong. So if you spent over that amount, then you could crash Luna and basically UST. This would force Luna team to sell all their holdings to keep UST high, which means selling that much bitcoin.

So, if you did that AND shorted bitcoin at the same time, it was basically guaranteed to make a profit. This is what whales did, and Luna team tried to defend and that is exactly what whales wanted them to do, and we never really recovered from there.
2729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: May 12, 2022, 06:04:51 PM
If you do not rush now, you are going to be upset later on, I can guarantee it. I mean it is obvious that you do not have to go all-in, I am not selling like sell your car and buy bitcoin with it right now lol. Of course not, however you need to also realize that if you just sit down and watch then you are going to miss so much and you shouldn't do that. The best thing you could do right now would be to plan how to get in.

If you do not want t oget in right now, at least have a plan when to get in because as we all know it is a great time to get in right now and if you are feeling worried, you should still realize you shouldn't miss this chance and plan how to get in.
2730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall below $30k on: May 12, 2022, 04:53:39 PM
Honestly at this point nothing shocks me anymore, it's quite possible that we could go even under 28k and I wouldn't be shocked. The initial drop started when the FED declared the interest rate hike, however this luna deal made it very weird, like really weird. They ended up 95%+ down, and this created a vortex in crypto where everything you throw at it dropped and disappeared.

I am not really seeing any way out except waiting for it to end, which it will end and all of this will be over but it will take some time. We just need to wait for it to pass, and eventually everything will be back to normal prices, and until then, all prices are acceptable.
2731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP LUNA & UST ! Is USDD be same like that.. on: May 12, 2022, 04:41:55 PM
I do not think that it is RIP just yet. I know that it looks like it is not doing well, and I have been part of plenty of algorithm based stablecoins before last year, like SBDO/BDO for example and they dropped and never recovered neither.

So, I have to say that this may not end up recovering as well and I wouldn't be shocked about it, I mean it will probably be fine but I am guessing that it will not be that much of a big deal in the end even if this falls. However, the chances are, there is a small chance it will end up winning as well and I am guessing that it may end up profiting and going back to 1 dollar again helping Luna to get back to 7-8 dollars at least as well.
2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just lost my job, new yorker here, what to do next? on: May 12, 2022, 03:42:51 PM
I am not sure if you need to be in New York. I mean is there anything that keeps you there? If there is nothing that attaches you there then leave that place as quickly as possible.

I have seen a guy who does uber and he was earning enough to live in a very comfortable place, it was like 1 room apartment place with kitchen, bathroom, living room all tidy good place, I would love to live there to be fair, not a big place, there are like 72 apartments in that condo, and each looks the same, so it may feel boring but it's in Florida and he did uber and lived comfortably that way. He said he is saving up to get better and better cars as well, so he must be putting some money aside too.
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 11, 2022, 10:39:44 PM
Real had Zidane, their old player who became a manager and then won so much with them. Why not Barcelona? Xavi won so much with Barcelona when he played there, he was amazing when he managed that Qatar team which we all know they are very rich, and now he is in Barcelona and doing so well, he solidified the second position so quickly.

This is why I believe that after the summer break, when they get rid of the players who are getting paid more than what they deserve, and sell them to other teams or wave them somehow, and get great few players they are going to actually be a team that will fight for both the league and the champions league at the same time, within just one year.
2734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the best investment for the next halving? on: May 11, 2022, 10:02:54 PM
Bitcoin? I mean why would you want to make it confusing. If you are 15 years old, and let's assume you retire at 65, and the rest is irrelevant if you do not want to, then we are talking about 50 years of working and investing.

If you do just bitcoin and nothing else, sure there will be some other coins that go up and down, but you can ignore it when you have that much time. Your age is to your advantage, I am much older than you and do not have the same time as you do, and still do long term bitcoin holding. Just work hard in your regular life, earn a salary, and put even the tiniest about you could, for 50 years, by the time you are 65, you could literally live off that much money.
2735  Economy / Economics / Re: Fed raises rates, the biggest hike in two decades, to fight inflation on: May 11, 2022, 09:40:45 PM
Rate hikes makes investment in fiat less attractive? I do not understand, shouldn't it make it more likable? I mean we are talking about having higher returns and rates, shouldn't that mean that we should be "investing" our money into these instead of stuff like crypto? That is what I heard, maybe I am wrong, maybe I read it with a different approach and didn't understand the correct way.

But from what I understand, it means that we are basically talking about something that is a bit more profitable to keep it in interest and earning higher rates which means that you do not have to invest into crypto and hence we had a fall.
2736  Economy / Economics / Re: Constant defamation of crypto on: May 11, 2022, 07:42:14 PM
The main reason is that there are too many people who lose customers because of bitcoin, and those people are usually from wall street. I mean not exactly wall street, but basically hedge funds and investment firms, all around the world.

This means that they have a lot of stock and shares from companies who are in media and other places, and that means we do not really need anything that is specifically related to this situation. They could get anything they want done, they just tell the media companies "we have enough shares to crash you if you do not do what we ask" but in a nicer way, and since they are losing investors to crypto, they get media to say bad things about it.
2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT could grow 35% by 2027 on: May 11, 2022, 05:00:17 PM
I would guess that there are layers to something that stays in the crypto world and there are none when we are talking about useless ones that go down. I do not know which one this will become but I am sure that it will stay here for a while by the logic of just ownership. If we keep looking at the ape type of stuff then it will probably not become big.

But, imagine what you can sell with "limited edition" mindset in the movie business for example. Like let's say when Marvel had End Game coming up, and they created an NFT to be released at the release day, that way they would have sold 10k NFT's, some common ones would be like drax or mantis or whatever, and a bit more rare would be spiderman antman and what not, and the very top would be captain and iron man for example or even thanos. Wouldn't that be the biggest thing ever? Wouldn't they make millions from it? I mean sure they made 2+ billion lol, but who says no to a extra 10-20 million more?
2738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins did you have (All time in your protofilo) on: May 11, 2022, 04:01:25 PM
Mine has never changed for the big three, and barely moved for the fourth. I had BTC, ETH, BNB for many years now, and I keep buying more of them constantly, not going to change anytime soon.

I see those three as my retirement fund and I will end up with buying more of them until I retire and hopefully when I am an old person (if god allows me to live that long) then I will stop and use that as retirement fund to not work until I die. That is what people do for their retirement fund in fiat, but rarely anyone uses crypto that way, they should start considering crypto as pension for sure. Fourth one is LTC but that goes up and down, I do not always keep buying more.
2739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 10, 2022, 09:36:15 PM
City is known to spend an insane amount of money for these type of "we are going to do it this year for sure" deals and I get it, but I do not really see the problem at a lacking of striker. I get that they lost it at the last second, and of course having Haaland would help them there is no denying there, but I believe that they have been at the top levels of UCL enough to maybe try and win with the same roster?

In any case, they have the money for it and they will try their best and I am sure that with Haaland at striker, getting passes from amazing wingers and midfield, he will score a bunch, and he will be helping them to get UCL next year if the transfer happens.
2740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 10, 2022, 08:24:35 PM
Oh, I do. I am itching so much right now. I am on the verge of leaving all of my information regarding the crypto world that I acquired for many years and just go all in with everything I ever have and buy bitcoin. I know it is silly, I have been here long enough to know that I should be staying at cash a bit, and also not put all of my possessions into just one thing.

I could literally see myself selling my car and getting a lot of bitcoins right now, I am at that stage right now, because it is literally free in my mind. I know that in the next 1-2 years it will break ATH and make me 2x money, and nothing would get expensive like that, not in 2 years or under. Which means that I could get rich if I buy now, but I am holding myself from doing it in case if things do not go as planned.
