Bullshit!

Bitcoin days destroyed at low levels today. Monitor this realtime at: http://blockr.io/charts

"With "bitcoin days destroyed", the idea is instead to give more weight to coins which haven't been spent in a while."

You have no clue what the hell you are talking about... That is just an indication of "day-age" weighted to move-volume.

So the coins were not old, and the volume of coins isn't high because value-per-coin is high. When value is high, it is not MANY coins, it is MANY dollars.

$700,000,000 DOLLARS is only about 1,200,000 BTC... and YES that many BTC have been moved over the past 24-hours. I didn't say they were old coins. This is coming right from the freaking block-chain. Add it up yourself if you don't believe me. I gave the freaking link.

That chart only spikes when someone moves millions of coins that have not been seen in months or years. Thus the reason it exists. To show coins moving up from the grave. (New threats to the exchange)

After the dumps last-night... I am sure where the coins were headed... Dumps will continue for the next few days again. $350 here we come!

Nice changes...

Now all we need is gravity-well diff-adjusting, and this will become a strong player again. (Still gets hammered by hoppers who tap-out value.)

363  Economy / Economics / Re: How does inflation start on: March 06, 2014, 07:41:01 AM
Money once worked because this thing called "communication", was sooo slooow...

You could raise minimum-wage, then say, one year later... Well, now everyone makes more money, so we have to charge more taxes... then say a year later... prices went up, so we had to adjust minimum-wage... repeat in sloooow moootion... year after year...

Now we have the internet, and we know the prices before the Govt does, and before banks do. Shit just happens faster now, and you can't even tell which came first... the chicken or the egg... (It was the rooster, but that isn't important right now...)

There is no more delay, and the "games" they play, pushing numbers around is failing them. They can't hide things anymore, they can't cheat us anymore, and they are failing because they are still trying to do it. That is like having your hand still in the cookie-jar, getting caught with it still in there, then trying to take my wallet with the other hand, while I am slapping the cuffs on both of your wrists.

Time for a new game called... "mother may I", because "hide and go seek" doesn't work in an open field. Now they have to ask us, and we have to give them permission... Like they originally were supposed to do. Instead of doing what they want, hiding it, covering things up, and pointing fingers at one another or those who are no longer in office to take responsibility.

Inflation is a byproduct of desire. We all want more, but we all get less. Thus...

"Give me a dollar, and I will tell you." <-- That is how it "starts". (Exchange of one virtual value for another, at a loss to you, but not me.)

Let me break that down for you...

"I have the knowledge, and now your dollar"
"You have the knowledge, but no more dollars. You tell someone for a dollar."
"I am still telling people for a dollar"
"Now we have the knowledge, and the dollars, and the people we told, only have the knowledge and no dollars."

Repeat until all dollars are short, and all knowledge is too expensive to buy, or everyone knows it. A bunch of people still need to get dollars they lost... We have the dollars they want... They have to do something for it. Much more than telling me what we already know.

Found a shorter answer...
"Loss" <-- That is another way inflation "starts".

(But loss alone is not what starts it. Just one way to describe the prior answer. Loss of money/value/funds/assets would be more specific. But only if those losses are realized and burdened onto someone-else, for gains to you.)

LOL, Updated my signature to my own quote... Tongue

Virgins are expensive!
365  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 06, 2014, 07:11:23 AM
I speculate, because the RIG was never working and the DESK had no working power save nor turbo mode and now they know they never will able to make it.

If the errors are just in the output-stream of junk that pools demand, for POW... Then this will not even matter to a solo-miner. They only get one solution back, not streams of junk shares. They may never see an error, because there is no stream of flooded data sent back to the wallet they are mining directly into.

From the unit that was tested a few posts back, the turbo-mode has a high error-rate of about 17%, which I assume it is choking on in a software issue. I imagine that the issue can be some-what resolved, playing with timing delivery and frequency-tuning.

There is obviously a few misalignments in the data-flow, and/or issues with the reading-calls. (Can happen if the rise-edge is not powerful enough to be detected fast-enough to initiate the capture of that data packet, which results in lost packets, or missing bits to the data-stream.) Usually they try to fix that with voltage-bumping, but when that fails, it is a frequency-interference or noise related issue.

If all the packets showed as bad, or they were remaining bad on all speeds... then I would say there is no hope. However, that still seems like a software issue. (Similar problem with 7970's when mining scrypt. Just a slight bump in the frequency can gain you 20% more speed... one more bump, and it is all out of alignment, and you lose 40% speed.)

Still, I think the new design without the daisy-chain will allow them better control over the whole unit. Since each chip will have slight impurities, each may actually need a separate operating frequency and voltage. Where as now, I believe it is all or nothing, for settings. One setting sets all chips. (That can actually be alleviated by frequency-matching chips to the supporting components, before mounting them. That, or measure each components actual values, and sort them, matching them to each board. That is unrealistic to do, without machines to do the testing for you. Which requires a lot more work to do. Easier to just say +/- 20% Tongue)

Hell, even something as un-obvious as having one bus-wire longer than the other, can cause enough resistance and capacitive interference to throw-off the entire data-stream under high-speeds. Data likes tuned lines of equal length and resistance, like the headers and exhaust in a race-car. That is why ribbon-cable has been used for ages and some data-lines have zig-zag patterns when they are too short from point-a to point-b. The shortest path is the best, only if they are all equally short. Tongue (PCIe had this issue at first. But now, they resolved it, by matching each data-lines linear resistance.)

However, for those of us who know how to manipulate these things... We may still have a chance at getting that perfect tuning, per chip.

I like working boards in hand. I am not a MANUFACTURER Grin

What good are working boards going to do you, in your hands? Tongue

You need a bunch of working boards, in a machine!  Grin
367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 06, 2014, 06:09:34 AM
You know that this board is not working, do you?

I hope so... that is what they say is in the two new miners models... 2.4THs and 3.6THs. Tongue

They wouldn't make a whole mock-up if it didn't work. (That is one of a whole punch-sheet. You can see the second board just below the knock-out tabs.) Well, again, I hope they wouldn't!

Has a ( QC #8 ) stamp on it... Tongue

That RNC or PNC logo might clue us in to the actual board MFG. (Hard to read that logo.)

Here is PNC...
http://www.eeweb.com/websites/pnc-inc.-from-pcb-design-to-turnkey-pcb-assembly

EDIT:

Yea, it is PNC, that is the logo on the boards I find online in google-images for "PNC INC". This image is somewhere on the PNC website. (It is hotlinked, so not sure where.)

Image is upside-down... logo is on the top right, by the number "4308" which is upside-down... Tongue Looks like "80Eh"... logo is just below that, well, above if the image was the right way. Also the numbers-ID follows the same format, Starting with the logo "PNC" and ending in "4B94V-O" (That I believe is a PCB specification)

That company is in New Jersey. Right next door to them.

Would you like schematics? (lol, just kidding... I am keeping those to myself. Not sure they were intended to be seen. JK.)
368  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Can I be scammed? on: March 06, 2014, 05:57:45 AM
You should wait for the full confirmation...

Any less, and it could be manipulated. (Fake transaction in a block that the network will throw-out. Because it will never confirm, or it is a double-spend. The first one with the full confirms, is the one that stays.)

For added security, like a bank does... (Since, in all essence you are a bank.) You would wait for 2x the confirmations. To ensure it is 100% there, not in a mini-fork that is also being manipulated.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: How does inflation start on: March 06, 2014, 05:46:31 AM
Shortest answer...

"Give me a dollar and I'll tell you!"
370  Economy / Economics / Re: A Resource Based Economy on: March 06, 2014, 05:39:52 AM
Utopia will never happen...

Because by law of nature, there is a balance...

For every person born, who is happy that you are happy...
There is another person born, who is not happy until you are unhappy...

That is just how it works. Deal with it. Tongue

Poor people call others poor, and make fun of them.
Fat people call others fat, and make fun of them.
Ugly people call others ugly, and make fun of them.
Kind people call others mean, and make fun of them.

You just can't win! Can't win....

There is nothing you can do, which pleases everyone, without hurting someone-else. Thus, nothing is good. Thus, doing nothing is the best you can do, which will still hurt someone.

P.S. Resources is not wealth... Russia has lots of resources... it is poor. Japan has few resources... It is rich.

lol, great minds think alike!

Employment 100%, homeless 50%... Something is broken in the formula... Must be using old 386 computers with old floating-point errors.

You can build it, but you can't use it... It's for the rich people that we haven't invented yet... Still being made at the factory.

Nice places... They need to come to America and build for us... I am tired of looking at these prefab houses with no real design to them.

China has ghost cities, are they for sale?
They will shoot you if you try to film them... But they will rent you a space cheap... lol. (No camera shops!)

Big blocks of Gox? I'm sure that would be easy to figure out.

How about good news?
It's the Winkie twins getting ready to buy more.

Could be good news, if it is Gox finding their lost wallets they thought were stolen, moving them to a better location! Tongue

Blockchain didn't identify them as any specific owner... (rolling service or just a lot of legitimate big-ticket purchases... someone buying a town?)

I know, donations from dogecoin, to all the homeless kittens!

P.S. Freaky my internet died after posting that... The FEDs are on to me, because I am on the them... If I disappear, my wallet is yours, the password is "SnuggleBums420", get it before they do!
374  Economy / Economics / Re: Who owns and controls the Federal Reserve? on: March 06, 2014, 05:24:21 AM
You can't own imaginary value... (Virtual value)

Oh wait, you can...

Ownership is a funny word... There is no ship!

Reserve... To hold... Hold what? We hold the money, they hold the ... the ... there is nothing left to hold, except what we have in our hands, and what is rolling off the printing-press, yet to be held.

I want my ... um ... um ... whatever a dollar is worth, back!

I am seeing many large volumes in $24,000 to $380,000 USD moving across the block-chain right now...
Another three $356,000 USD just rolled by...
Just saw two for $640,000 USD...

Tons of them... (About 40+ between that range, and many more $1,000-$6,000... Miners buying more miners?)

Not sure if this is buying/selling, or deposits for cashing-out, or thieves moving some of that stolen BTC from GOX...

But blockchain is zooming tonight!
https://blockchain.info/

P.S. These are individual transactions, not whole blocks of transactions...

Not like the normal volumes I usually see, of only $300-$2,000 USD every day.

Seems like there is millions and millions moving around the last 24 hours...
https://blockchain.info/largest-recent-transactions

Smallest of the last 100 top transactions was $513,912.09 USD... Largest was $9,525,426.76 USD

That is nearly $700,000,000.00 USD moved in 24 hours... Nice!
(Why does that number sound familiar? Oh yea, Mt. Gox... Funny thing to see, no?)

Good? Bad? Doesnt matter?
That is good... They are focusing on the overhead and hopefully trying to push that new design into full production before release. I hope...
just my imagination, youtube.com/watch?v=SHoHIL2ABVQ
are you Dolores O’Riordan?
No... But I would like to be with her! Does that count? Tongue

I was talking about the new design that does not need to be daisy-chained. (Like the ones they were previously selling.) They might have all the orders placed to cover the sale of those other designs, which they will not be producing anymore. They were not a design they liked, but a limitation of the first draft.

AMT also has that new design, which will be used on the future models. Since this old design is apparently giving everyone headaches.

377  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 06, 2014, 04:03:10 AM
ummm what deadline? we cant even get AMT to give another fake delivery date. they arent even pretending to be reputable anymore.

I still have not even gotten an e-mail from them, explaining why my first delivery-date was missed... or saying it was going to be late... Or even confirming my order that I placed.

Is it too much to ask, for at-least the website to show the estimated delivery, or have direct customer notices addressed to us?

Sure, I saw the notices here, but not all customers are members here. I am sure a whole bunch of them are freaking-out, not knowing what we know. Hell, some of us here are freaking-out, knowing what we know here. (Not from Phinn, from you AMT. Tongue)

I still want my miner to have these boards...

Not the other ones. Tongue

Better heat distribution and cooling potential. Using sandwiched heat-pipe or water-cooling blocks. I have a bunch of square aluminum tube, without a purpose, which would span two chips on either side. With the next layer above being the next board, then more aluminum square tubing. etc...

Now FedEx wants me to fill out some FCC form:

I'll probably choose #7, since I have no way of knowing whether these units actually comply with FCC requirements. But what about someone receiving more than 3 units?

I say check box #7 (3 or fewer are being imported for use, and not for sale.)

Says most people say #2... (Follow the crowd)

If you order more than 3... You should have checked to see if they are FCC compliant, as a business or a home user... (You want to risk getting microwaved by 4 units?)

Tongue

It is a declaration, for businesses, less for consumers. If you are a business, you HAVE to be 100% truthful. If you are a consumer... They could actually care less. They just have to ask, for their records.

Send them an email asking them to answer the FCC status. If they say they are not FCC, then refuse the package, then explain to them that they can only send 3 at a time in shipping in the USA without FCC compliance. (You will be doing them a favor.)

You could also claim #3, if you don't intend to sell. You are just testing it for its ability.. for two years, or more!

All resale electronics in the USA have to have FCC certification or exemption. (Or you, as the US seller to another US citizen, face the lawsuits if your resold device microwaves someone and gives them cancer or tumors or death.)

All devices emit RF radiation... High-frequency RF radiation is surely coming from a 1THs+ machine. (Just like Ghz cellphones and cordless phones.)

Just don't place this next to the kids crib, don't use it as a seat, or use it as a pillow, and all should be good! lol. (I hope!  Shocked)

I paid for those grapes.
I ate those grapes... I hated those damn things... They look like M&M's that spent too long in the hot-tub, died, and turned purple, but still moved... Like zombie-M&Ms!

Won't mention the other thing they resembled, when they stood side by side, holding the Saxophone between them... But you can use your imagination for that one.
