361  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Discover Jupbit.com: Your Gateway to Crypto Excellence on: February 26, 2024, 10:00:52 AM
It is better to move the topic to Exchanges board as it is suitable for such discussions.

Liquidity and trading volumes are the first problem that platforms face in the first days, and trading volumes on your platform do not appear to be good.
Saying “Global Accessibility” means that there are no restrictions based on countries, but saying “no KYC up to 10 BTC” is a better statement depending on where the service is registered. Is the service registered or not?

Exchange does not contain easy commands such as converter or any services besides spot/future trading.
The terms-and-condition are copy and paste and do not give the impression that you are a professional service.
362  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beaware of fake privnote.com on: February 26, 2024, 09:33:58 AM
It is better not to even use privnote.com, the service is closed source. They did not mention that they encrypt data, and there is no guarantee that they might do the same thing that happened with .co, in addition to the fact that the service depends on Cloudflare, where they can record some data related to you.

There are open source tools ---> https://www.fortinet.com/resources/cyberglossary/pgp-encryption#:~:text=PGP%20uses%20the%20public%20key,it%20with%20their%20private%20key

It can be used to encrypt messages and the public key can be shared via PM or SimpleX Chat.
363  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to create a beautiful QR code for address, avatar, etc... on: February 26, 2024, 09:22:56 AM
I liked the design. If there were open source tools, it would be better, but since all the risks are related to privacy, as you will enter your Bitcoin address and verify it several times before using it to promote your service, I do not see a problem with using this service.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it give fuel to skyroket for btc ? on: February 26, 2024, 09:09:56 AM
If you had a balance in an exchanger and the daily account limits were $1,000, but they decided to increase it to $10,000 per day, this does not mean that you will be able to withdraw that amount daily. If Bitcoin was banned in China and the ban was lifted, it is positive news and will affect demand, but it will definitely not lead to an explosion. The price, unless there is a large demand for Bitcoin, is completely different from ETFs.
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: February 26, 2024, 08:57:05 AM
I did not know that there is a reward for browsing Bitget Insights and Binance Feed. If it is possible to earn money while you are browsing, this is good, but usually the return is very low, so I recommend to you the importance of developing yourself. I have not read any article on Bitget Insights, but the data from Binance Feed is very basic and is often after a change in the market, so as a trader it may not be of much use to you, but for those who want to analyze the news and use it in future predictions, it is useful.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would BTC ve further influence over the Fiats if we ain't safe with the bank on: February 26, 2024, 08:12:08 AM
Banks: centralized
Bitcoin: decentralized
Cryptocurrencies: centralized. Exception is Bitcoin.

We have some cryptocurrencies that cannot be described as centralized, such as Monero, and Ethereum cannot be considered central, but rather distributed, and therefore most of the tokens are built on the Ethereum blockchain.
Some cryptocurrencies do not have a single point of failure, but bridges and DEXs are the most centralized in the industry.
367  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hyip website offering unusual returns on: February 26, 2024, 06:50:40 AM
Like the way these guys pose themselves, 5% return in one month equates to 60% in one year my bad its 20% a day, heck these guys creating money out of thin air? Why they have not destabilized the economy yet? Just asking yourself these questions yields the answer that it is too good to be true, but if you are swayed by their words and think you are going to make money, you are only making a fool of yourself.

Dont even try to experiment with 10 to 20$ - its not worth it, rather buy a lunch bento with that instead.

Their business model is based on creating thousands of accounts at a low cost and promoting them in the hope that someone will deposit 10 to 20 dollars to try the service. Such scammers will continue to create more of these services if they are able to collect 100 dollars per month (fooling 5 users).
If they find a suitable person, they may risk doubling his profits quickly so he can deposit more, and so on until they steal him.
368  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Tangem Card Secure Crypto Cold wallet + 10% OFF All Products on: February 25, 2024, 08:53:18 AM
TANGEM 2.0 is a wallet into which you can insert your seed phrase if you do not trust the wallet manufacturer.
Promotions are currently taking place in many countries.

The main purpose of hardware wallets is to ensure that the private key is generated randomly enough and that it will not leave the device or connect to the Internet. Therefore, inserting a wallet seed from the hardware wallet into any other wallet reduces the security of your coins. So how is TANGEM 2.0 based on that?

AFAIK, Tangem Wallet generates a private key which is encrypted up to three Tangem cards, and they have the seed phrase is optional so why did the change happen in V2.0.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would BTC ve further influence over the Fiats if we ain't safe with the bank on: February 25, 2024, 08:23:15 AM
Whether you declare your Bitcoin or not, the government will know that. Maintaining high privacy requires more effort and learning from you, but since you are not obliged to provide this information to the bank or any administrative body without judicial permission, do not do so.
Also, you are not doing anything bad, and Bitcoin is legal in your country, so there is no need to worry and overthink.

The future of Bitcoin is linked to increasing demand for it and considering it a neutral tool between governments, which is what it has succeeded in doing so far. If it can grow and avoid political and regulatory differences between countries, it will be a suitable currency for international trade.
370  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: February 25, 2024, 07:27:24 AM
Although the proposal is strange, adding the de-Merit option to some members was introduced some time ago, and currently only admin can do this.
If you can prove that there is an urgent need for de-Merit, then your request will be accepted, but this feature will be given to certain accounts.
As for it being available to everyone, this means more drama, which already exists.
371  Economy / Reputation / Re: There is an abuse of merit on: February 25, 2024, 07:19:11 AM
I do not think that @Icefrag is a merit source (can’t generate more merits.)
A project cannot be trusted because of merits, as it is a measure of the quality of posts and not trust. Since that account is promoting a POW coin, more merits will not help them. If you can prove that both accounts are linked or part of a farm of accounts, the best you will get is neutral trust.

I appreciate your trying to help, but you need to prove that merits are being misused or a merit source who is misusing them.
Overall I will give you +2 merits for your effort.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million of standard gold bars in the world. on: February 24, 2024, 11:05:18 AM
The similarity of the numbers does not mean that the theory is correct, as you cannot support your argument with anything logical to accept it as a theory. You can support your theory with quotes from Satoshi, but they will all be a matter of speculation and there is nothing to actually support them.

Quote from Satoshi

I think the traditional qualifications for money were written with the assumption that there are so many competing objects in the world that are scarce, an object with the automatic bootstrap of intrinsic value will surely win out over those without intrinsic value.  But if there were nothing in the world with intrinsic value that could be used as money, only scarce but no intrinsic value, I think people would still take up something.

(I'm using the word scarce here to only mean limited potential supply)

The most acceptable explanation is the Fibonacci sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, and the number is not 21, but 20999999.9769 BTC.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Generate Bitcoin address from Ethereum address via Metamask on: February 24, 2024, 10:49:45 AM
Hey guys,

Long time since I have posted. I'm stuck here with the fact that last year, I connected my Metamask wallet (on Ethereum) with a web-3 website that used the Ethereum address (or its private key) to create a Bitcoin address. That way, I could use MM on Bitcoin.
No, you can’t. MetaMask UI still does not support Bitcoin, so all you will get is an address to receive payments, and when you want to spend from it, the problem will be. You also mentioned the web-3 website, which means that the private key is connected to a website and that website can record your private key.

Appreciate if anyone can remember that website, even if it doesn't exist anymore
Search using the forum because search engines rarely show results for sites that no longer work.
I found this topic[1] and from it this website ---> https://web.archive.org/web/20230423195740/https://free-online-app.com/ Is it what you are looking for?

374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can I do to be successful in trading with my small capital on: February 24, 2024, 10:06:03 AM
do i need to an expert in trading before someone will be successful.
What is your goal? Is it to experiment and learn more about Bitcoin trading, or is it an investment and you are afraid of losing your capital, or are you looking for a way to make a daily income?

 - Trading is a balance between profits and losses, so that the outcome of trading is that your investment portfolio achieves growth. Therefore, losses are related to trading, but a good trader knows how to reduce those losses.

 - If your goal is to invest and you are afraid of losing your capital, it is better for you to use long-term trading investment strategies instead of trading, such as buying Bitcoin and storing it for a long time.

 - If your goal is to learn, start with demo accounts, and after gaining knowledge, start trading.

 - As for achieving a daily income, it is next to impossible for beginners.

Try to stay away from cryptocurrencies because they are high risk and buy/sell between Bitcoin & Ethereum.
375  Other / Meta / Re: Demand for non-Telegram forum notifications? on: February 24, 2024, 09:54:53 AM
Would you use a website, setup email or browser notifications, etc... for all the stuff I wrote above?
I have not used your Telegram bot, but I see that many people prefer this type of notifications. Creating a website inside ninjastic.space would be ideal, although I prefer userscript, as you will get a box between MY MESSAGES MEMBERS called Notifications, where you can customize your notifications.
376  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining recommendations on: February 24, 2024, 09:29:41 AM
Cloud Mining was part of the past and even back then it wasn't really mining as much as it was a kind of stock to buy mining tools which were not expensive at the time, it's more like now having a Bitcoin faucet that pays out 1 Bitcoin every few days, too good to be true and it's better. Consider it a scam.  ----> https://www.bestchange.com/ They already have a BTC faucet which enables you to collect some satoshis but it will not make you any profits.

378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going against the grain. on: February 23, 2024, 08:41:41 AM
Personally, I start selling when everyone wants to buy and there is positive news daily and greed prevails. So far, all of these things have not happened, so the buying rate is still normal. The reason for this is that the price rises and stabilizes. There is no positive news daily, and greed has not been satisfied.
Most of us will start selling at $100,000, others at $120,000.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The change Address Concept on: February 23, 2024, 08:37:10 AM
If you download an open source, well-programmed wallet, it will enable you to control the addresses so that they are customized to reduce fees, pay from a specific coincontrol, or any additional settings you desire.

The wallets are programmed either to enhance privacy and therefore will choose for you the address that contains the most of your balance to reduce the number of inputs or fees.

Wow, I didn't know that HashCash has been around since 1997.
The infographic above made me want to read more about the pre-Bitcoin era, so I'll bookmarked it.

Bitcoin did not fail due to continuous development. In the early days, the code needed many modifications, but the efforts of the developers to make it something worth investing in until 2013 is what earned it all this value.
