But after a while it goes wrong and i have to restart with an old blockchain.
(I sent a copy of the debug log a few messages before)
So the wallet works good for a certain time (a few months staking), then it breaks and you need to restart.
Also when windows crashes, sometimes the blockchain will become corrupt.
I'll have that as being the next things. |

I have a problem with the wallet:

After a while the connections go back from 4 until 0 and the program says wallet offline.
What can be the problem?
So much staking and so a low reward is also not right....
Any ideas?
I believe magi's PoS seems working well, cause it makes one having such a huge amount of coins being too much concerned about the rewards.  No offense. It's kinda coming down to how so-called PoS-II works; be sure to check if what you PoSed matches with APR; if not, then could be strategy of putting how much coins in stake.. As to the network height, it's supposed to be fluctuating.. However, I'll get it into be on the to-do-list of the mPoS things that's part of the works after this release. |

I appreciated your efforts, and the guide is very helpful; probably I'd mention that installing db4.8 instead of the new version is strongly recommended. Unfortunately, that might need compiling from source code; the corresponding binary package is likely unavailable. |

It's been quite some time since I left out of buying and staking Magi, since I have been very busy with things like college, among other stuff, but I would gladly get back into Magi soon as it is one of the best altcoin out there. Hopefully, with the release of the new QT wallet, Magi could get even more attention and increase in price. I wish that Magi could reach $0.05 USD or higher this year. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward for more exciting news like these.  By the way, do you happen to know how do I compile the Magi wallet for Raspberry Pi 3? I'm trying to figure it out, but haven't gone anywhere as I'm not very tech savvy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Glad to see you again. It's been some time for me on the work stuffs as well. I'm not yet into Raspberry, but someone did a guide as I remember. I'll try to find it out. Also I'm interested to get a Pi like for staking; either way I'll figure out a guide. |

The latest code v1.3.1 is live on the master branch [https://github.com/magi-project/magi]. The Qt was tweaked the most and all prior issues were fixed. Remaining issues are likely broken daemon compilation at this moment, and a bit more tweaks for OSX too; I'll fix.
If you can't wait for official compiled wallet, pls do so of compilation on your own. We're using LevelDB; if you're upgrading from version prior to v1.3.0, pls sync from scratch, or download (a while ago): http://coinmagi.org/bin/block-chain.

U will spend money for promotional activities but more often than not u won't get any revenue coming back to ur pocket. The fact is, monies are used for production and spreading the word about the state of the development, but nothing comes back in the form of consistent income.
We're far away from that, and aren't making any out of magi, I believed. |

I've been running the RC version since it came out, no issues.
Fix the 'pre-release test build - use at your own risk' warning OH and also the Transactions tab Total at the top does not always equal the real total balance in my wallet, right now it shows my total is 4.52 xmg less than what my balance actually is.
That's all I can think of.
The warning will be removed; I'll double check the Total number under the Transactions tab. |

I seem to be not seeing any issues coming up for the RC version wallet, so I had the wallet about around at the corner, except that I need to build Qt and daemons as well for a couple of OS. Before the release, however, I'd ask if anyone spotted issues that have to be fixed?
Hi Joe The RC all looks good to me, I've been running it for months with no issue, the only (trivial) thing I can see is the 'RC text' that needs removing in the status bar, and that text being almost the same colour as the status bar background. If you need a hand with putting any builds together I'd be happy to give it a go. Many thanks, starmman. I'd ask for helping on disseminating the changes once the release is out, and some detailed things I might think of later one. I'm currently bringing my pc in being noisy/hot for wallet compilation to be done. Is the 'RC text' same as what Redrover mentioned, but I see that warning in white while the status bar is in dark grey; probably a screen shot is helpful. |

Good question amigo. Joe told me he is working on those improvements and lurking the forums. He has a very busy job and will use his spare time on that. Hope you can wait a little longer. We know he will come with good improvements as always!

I'm losing patience. I've resynchronised for the third time now with the new wallet, and I always get that Runtine error that end my wallet.

I decided to take the plunge and use the new client on my main wallet today. I'll give that a go once the network has fininshed syncing. I added all the hosts to the magi.conf but still taking forever to find new hosts. I will see if it has found any more tomorrow.
