Is anyone else having trouble accessing the website ? It keeps going offline for me since morning and whenever it loads and I make a bet it just hangs up on me. I tried clearing the cache but it doesn't seem to help. Not sure if this is due to the new design or server issues on the sites end.
362  Economy / Gambling / Re: suggest some btc sportsbook similar to bet365/betfair on: January 17, 2017, 04:50:46 PM
Check out this site sportsbet.io. They launched last year, but I believe have another gambling website for the past few years. They just redesigned their website and feature almost all sports like betfair. They also offer live betting which not a lot of bitcoin sites have and a wide variety of betting lines to chose from.

Love the new design. I was however getting a little lag for the bets to load up, but overall pretty impressed by the new look. I am pretty impressed with what you guys are doing to reach the pinnacle of bitcoin sportsbetting. Also looking forward to participate in Part 2 of the contest Smiley
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 4.5 BTC BETTING COMPETITION 🍀 SPORTSBET.IO 🍀 DISCUSSION 💰 on: January 16, 2017, 10:40:26 PM
Does multiple games bet count or do I have to be on 1 game. Thanks for letting me know Smiley

It is only for single games as of now as per the rules.
Does anyone know if the other parts of the contest are out already ? Would be nice to allow parlays otherwise betting on single games is a big gamble specially if you want to hit a high payout multiplier.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fixed soccer matches information. on: January 16, 2017, 10:37:51 PM

What game was this on ?
The one you posted on 13th was a win, but was it posted before or after the game ?

Full time result    2.6-2.8
HT 1 result            3.0-3.2
HT 2 result            2.4-2.6

If you are so sure these games are fixed and you know the correct ending score, how about post one solid pick for any day you pick ?
366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do the big exchangers get their bitcoins on: January 16, 2017, 01:36:38 PM
You definitely need some initial capital if you wish to do that. Most big exchanges do stock up on bitcoin and if selling directly usually have a much higher price than normal exchanges to compensate for the swings in prices. Some could even be buying on spot as you put in the order, they might be automating the process to buy from bitstamp and forwarding you the bitcoins.

Also do note some of them have active traders.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you could create your own Bitcoin gambling site, what would you do better? on: January 16, 2017, 01:03:53 PM
If I was running my own bitcoin gambling site, then apart from this forum, I would definitely focus on attracting customers or people from outside the bitcoin world. Maybe do giveaways in other forums for bitcoins and hence it will introduce them to bitcoins and at the same time will also be an introduction to gambling to which my site would be the first one that they would see.

369  Economy / Gambling / Re: Official Americas Cardroom Thread on: January 13, 2017, 01:03:22 AM

Is there any prize money or a lottery system for people answering the question or is it only for free publicity for the casino ?

Been looking for an alternate site ever since the action started dying on SealswithClubs. Did you guys by any chance consider integrating withdrawals with bitcoins ? Or is it a deposit only option for now?

Hello erpbridge ! We do have Bitcoins as a withdrawal and deposit methods! In our page, we have the full information of how to deposit and withdrawal in our site with Bitcoins. In the following link you will see our general bitcoin guide, you will see 2 taps one for Cashouts and the other for Deposits: https://www.americascardroom.eu/bitcoin-poker/

If you have any questions please let me know!

Thanks for the answer. Really nice to know.
370  Economy / Gambling / Re: Management and Development Team Required For New BTC Casino on: January 13, 2017, 12:58:20 AM
I understand that at this stage of development of your project you are mainly looking for developers and project managers.
But how about positions like community manager, social media manager, online support? Will you be seeking for people to fill these spots in the future?

I am also interested in applying for a social media manager or the online chat support on the site if any. I am managed a person casino and am messaging you my experience from that.
371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do bitcoin poker only sites keep closing? on: January 12, 2017, 10:04:43 PM
Its not only the bitcoin poker sites which is closing. The whole poker scene is seeing a slow down in players and bitcoin is only a small niche of this department, which means it is much much smaller.

If I was to buy a google drive unlimited account, then would it be a stand alone individual account or would it be a company account ? And would you have access to all the data as well or would it only be under my control and visibility ?
373  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 🔥🔥EAT FREE IN ANY MCDONALDS WORLDWIDE🔥🔥 on: January 11, 2017, 02:31:38 AM
received vouch copy from op tonight
cost $1.50 well yes as it only a cost of a couple of burgers and if this works you can get more ten that free
very easy todo  and complete
this method will not take long to complete but then you might have to wait a bit to et you free food but it will be worth it
have not seen this method write day before so if you have a spare $1.50 then you could buy this and at the least you get back ten time whet you spend
thanks op for copy

Could you comment about how much time it usually is ?

Also op, interested in knowing if you could get multiple burgers in advance, instead of only being able to get one after waiting for a couple of days.

If you have more vouches, then let me know. I can go ahead and test it out tomorrow.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you list Dice strategies other than martingale? on: January 11, 2017, 02:28:27 AM
i always like testing new strategies and having fun with dice, it is so flexible in a sense that you can do whatever you like.
but i always see people use martingale strategy, me included for the most part.

so i was wondering if anybody could list other strategies they can think of or use themselves here?

Most of the strategies which increase bet sizing after a losing bet are mostly just variations of martingale. Anti-martingale is another example which I find better than martingale as it helps me survive longer. But the best strategy I feel like is to make a straight single bet with all the money you plan on gambling.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do Odd-Even games on Soccer have odds so less than 1.98x ? on: January 11, 2017, 02:26:21 AM
I was looking at the odds on some soccer games and the odds I see for odd and even are way too less than 1.98. Since one of the 2 possibilities will happen shouldn't the odds atleast for one of them be atleast 1.98 ?

Right now on one of the soccer bets I have opened, I see odds of 1.78 and 1.9. Isn't this a much bigger house edge than betting on dice instead ?
Yes thats a bigger house edge indeed if I were you I would stay away from those kind of lines and look for much higher lines on other bookies.  I mostly see this kind of odds on sportsbet.io when i'm watching their live lines on the nba odd is at 1.82 and even is at 1.9. Using the vig calculator with those kind of odds the house edge is set at 8.10%.

That is what my question is. I read what ajaxmoor said about statistics and all, but despite all that, I don't understand why would someone want to bet on sports at 50% odds when they get so much lower house edge on other gambling sites.
376  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - 20% Rakeback Christmas Bonus - Most trusted Bitcoin Dice site on: January 11, 2017, 02:24:33 AM
Sad to see one of the best sites going down. Have had a significant amount of bitcoins on the site and was always impressed by the quickness of you handling issues on chat. btw weren't you planning to launch provably fair poker sometime ?
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best BTC poker site right now since fortunejack is down? on: January 11, 2017, 02:22:17 AM
I'm also looking for a trustable poker site and I've been dissapointed from the lack of progress with decentralized options, especially on Ethereum blockchain, there was EtherPoker at one time and now Pokereum or something like that. I've heard it's very complicated to develop such sites since there are many technical issues that don't have solutions at the moment.

Too bad because something like that will put a lot of players at ease of sites and casinos running away with the funds or pulling rigged systems.

I can imagine the next person to develope a multi currency poker site accepting all kinds of currencies for deposits and withdrawals could be the next big thing. We also need a site with some new software, as when a new site uses something like mavericks, its hard to trust them. Also there was some news floating around about a provably fair poker. Anyone knows what happened with that ?
378  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I sell on coinbase. on: January 07, 2017, 04:49:10 AM
Hello, I bought about one hundred dollars worth a few months ago. I know I can buy things. Is it legal for me to sell back to coinbase. Im an American citizen. I'm not a merchant of any kind. Thanks.

Yes it is completely legal. If however you were from another country, then you wouldn't have been able to buy it in the first place. Coinbase just requires a verification for your payment information. I have it linked to my bank account to which it verified by sending a small amount of usd.

For people commenting about the taxes, thats another issue. Coinbase won't ban you if you don't pay taxes. The government will be the one taking action if you don't report your taxes.
379  Other / MultiBit / Re: Are my bitcoin lost forever? on: January 07, 2017, 04:46:26 AM
I created MultiBit wallet in 04.2014, exported .key file for backup and kept using the wallet.

In 11.2014 I made a payment and MultiBit generated new address and sent rest of my bitcoin there. I wasn't aware of that and kept using my wallet thinking that my bitcoin is safe.

I upgraded to windows 10 in last august and with my .key file I was able to restore only access to my first address. Which was empty.

So that means there is no way to access the new address? Thanks!

I have had a similar problem. I was playing around with it right now and it seems you need to back up the .wallet file along with the .key file. It is because when you import the .key file, then it gets imported to a new wallet which already has an existing address. This creates 2 addresses in one wallet and funds often get transferred from one to another during a transaction.
380  Other / MultiBit / Creating a fresh wallet from a .key file ? on: January 07, 2017, 04:15:43 AM
I have been using the old Multibit classic on my PC and I found that whenever I import a .key file to my multibit client it basically links my wallet with the .key address and an address which was generated when the wallet was first created and opened.

On doing any transaction, the money gets sent to either of the addresses even when I don't have the key to the other address. Is there any way to create or open a brand new wallet from just a .key file ?
