Both Lehecka and Korda are getting back into form in this tournament. We will see someone in the final from them the only thing that is worrying for them if they are gonna be ready for Us open next week . I think Korda can reach the final and maybe even win the entire tournament. The next match would have been between Lehecka and Korda. Unfortunately, Korda had to cancel it because he got an ankle injury in the quarterfinal against Gaquet. So Lehecka is in the final and will play against Coric or Baez. We have different goals in investing or holding assets, and of the options OP mentioned, I think they are good assets to hold. I wouldnt say Djokovic was overwhelmingly better than Alcaraz. No, I would not say that either and that is not what I meant. Djokovic had a bit more power in the end and all the mental strength to want to win this match. Otherwise they would have played longer. I am definitely looking forward to the next matches when they play against each other. I was just watching the points as I wasn't able to stream the match. UAE need 45 runs from last two overs. They lost 4 wickets. I wouldn't say that UAE played badly today. But they will fail to win today's match. It is not possible for UAE players to collect 45 runs in 2 overs. However, UAE would lose the series 2-1. However, the performance of the UAE players was excellent. They played very well. Their performance has improved. Now the UAE team has now proved that they are capable of defeating a big team like New Zealand. However, New Zealand should have dominated and won the series. But they were not able to dominate even in a single match. Not sure if they can do well in the upcoming ODI World Cup.
New Zealand won the match by 32 runs and with this the series is won by New Zealand 2-1. Lack of experience was seen with the UAE players. Anyhow the UAE team winning a match in the series is a big achievement for now. Players should practice to be on the crease to stand wickets and then go for big shots than going for big shots from the beginning. Team performance have increased and New Zealand will correct itself. In all the three matches played against New Zealand toss is won by UAE and they choose to bowl in all the three matches. New Zealand must be congratulated for winning the series. But I think in the last match of the t-20 series, if UAE had batted first, it might have been better for UAE. United Arab Emirates could not strengthen the bowling lineup in this last match. Poor bowling by UAE helped New Zealand score a decent total. In terms of United Arab Emirates batting, no one could play well except Aayan Khan In all the three matches UAE won the toss and decided to bowl. Maybe they could've tried a different strategy in one of the match. I think UAE team is more confident with their batting line-up, which is why they choose to bowl first and chase the target. The target in every match was not that big. If few players had contributed surely UAE could've won the series. Anyhow there is improvement with the team, lack of experience can be seen much on UAE. The matches played against New Zealand could've given the entire UAE team big experience and the confidence to play against leading teams. |
