Well as long as you see the order then it's all good. Click on the VIEW button and it should tell you the price you should pay and also give you a BTC address to send the payment to. As far as the 78 BTC, that's an error. What is happening is the store is using the current batch 3 pricing  (75 BTC). Disregard it. Just click on the VIEW button and it will show you the true price which should be 17.4 per unit.

Well, there is obviously an error since Bitsyncom has confirmed the batch #2 pricing, but even the order details show the high price. It seems yours and mine are different. It doesn't really matter.

Tucenaber, we are in the same situation.
363  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Avalon Asic] trade-in Thread on: July 12, 2013, 06:41:49 AM

No email yet, but there is an trade-in order on hold in the avalon store when I log in. Yay! The price says 78 BTC though Sad Does your status really say 17.4 BTC?

Same here, for now the only clickable thing goes to this: http://store.avalon-asics.com/?product=avalon-asic-unit-trade-in-2

Quote
You should also have received an e-mail that says "a new note has been added..." which will also ask you to pay 17.4 x (x) - x being the number of units you have - to a unique btc address (just for your order).

Still waiting this email, the closed ticket is open again.

Batch3 needs to be delivered in order to deliver chips. And apparently that will be done really quick.

Where did you see that? All announcements from Yifu have seemed to indicate the opposite - the chips will ship BEFORE batch 3.

well, from the latest newsletter:

The chips is scheduled to start delivering mid-july in order which they were purchased.
Batch three starts shipping mid-july, expected to finish within 2 weeks as there is no order issues unlike batch #2

mmm, that's odd guys, I'm pretty sure rudrigorc and allinvain should have gotten emails, I remember sending about 50% of them before having to run off to another meeting earlier today.

care to check store / emails?

also yes, trade-ins are batch #2 prices, so $1600 at current exchange rate. I think the number used was 17.2-17.4ish

Quick question for you. I just finished paying for my order and it's already got 6 confirmations. So my question is, does the order status page get updated automatically or does someone have to manually go in there and confirm that payment has been received?

I cant pay the order, its on-hold.

they are working on it, something just changed in my order status

about the price, what do you guys think? I still hope for 60 BTC or less  Cool.

What order status you talking about? As far as I know there is no orders for the trade-in program until after they send you a purchase link and you complete that purchase. I guess I should checkout my store account maybe there is a surprise waiting for me.

I had one completed order paid in the first day, then, 10 minutes ago they duplicated that order with a new order number, as it is showing more machines than I was expecting I opened a ticket informing them this time I am waiting to pay one more unit, only.

edit:

Last email from avalon was the newsletter, 7 hours ago.

Yifu said it was batch 2 pricing so, $1299 for Icarus, $1199 for Lancelots trade-ins.

batch 1 4 module? how come?

One of my Avalon units came with non-functional controller board, but perfectly working mining modules. I moved these modules into other units, so now I have 4-module Avalons.

alright. I remeber that thread, but damn you mined tons of btc with this already
good luck

when you see old analog photos you can almost touch, now we live in an era of best miners, awesome digital cameras, all the best from technology but no one to take a clear picture... Sad

stop your bloody moaning. its a picture of the team, and a friedcat t-shirt.

How awesome can you get? so what if its not HDR and 24M pixels. Some people are disappointed with everything, sigh.

Best of all, friedcat is a short-ass like me  Grin

dont get fooled, thats not a picture just a bunch of pixels together, and out of focus Cheesy

Looks like a tight, friendly team. Just kills me the lack of pixels and its JPEG not RAW Wink

LOLd

What are you talking about?  Their mining profits are theirs.
Nobody will be returning anything.

If I had to guess,  I'd say the team had split around April/May.
ngzhang left the team.  I cannot imagine them having technical issues with
him on the team.  I'm guessing money and the direction the company
took was the issue.

Are they scammers by business standards? Of course.

By bitcoin mining community standards? No way.
They are geniuses walking on water.

It will be a big loss to team if NG left them. He was not doing it for the money alone. He used to enjoy his work very much. When the joy has gone NG has gone also. He is not posting lately at all and has not been around for at least 3-4 months. I do miss FPGA  times  when he used to reply to posts and mails. I have nothing to ask him though but NG if you happen to read this say hello pls Smiley
