361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still HODLing EOS ? on: April 30, 2018, 10:24:37 AM
It can go 20-25 USD i guess but thats just a guess so who can really tell that for sure. My concern is current bull run, whether it is really bull run for the EOS or it is just the another bull trap that i dont understand. Sometime when coin starts blowing up like this then it could be either temporary spiking or it could be just lucky shot to catch the jackpot. I am still holding but if starts sliding down then i am sure i will be the first one to sell it, not as panic seller but as smart seller.  Tongue
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token on: April 30, 2018, 09:59:44 AM
Token : It is symbol and/or representative of issuing body which could be either established entity or ICO itself. Token represent you as the share holder of investment that you have made into that entity/ICO itself.

Entity would be matured company while ICO is Initial Coin Offering stage which is nothing but first appearance of that specific entity.

For example, Bitcoin is symbolised token of Bitcoin crypto project itself which provides you with means of transaction, store value etc.

You can use token for the purpose of its utility within or outside that project!

You can get your tokens from the direct purchases made in the ICO stages, if they are on exchanger then you can buy them or you can earn free from the bounty campaigns.

365  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you keep yourself from spending on unimportant things? on: April 27, 2018, 09:43:16 AM
Just tell yourself that if you are buying that thing then you are going down with the investment and making your savings worth savings! There is thing called as finance management and if you try to do it then you will help yourself from spending on unwanted things. I know these kind of expenditures always happen with everyone, even I have spent huge amounts of money on the things which I never wanted to buy. So at the end when you will valuate those things and will ask yourself what if you have put that money somewhere else and gotten huge profits then it could have been something different really. So more or less morality plays the game.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wtat are the biggest disadvantages of altcoin ? on: April 27, 2018, 08:27:56 AM
Its all about the unwanted protocols and algorithms that has raised out of the blockchain. I mean why they should add it in the main stream if they are not useful in the same manner as the fiat currency. I mean what else they have to offer,? An anonymous coin, and coin with secure transaction? Oh dam we already go that covered in the fiat currency so I dont really understand what crypto makes the difference?

It has to be improved one and must contain far better stability and must provide the characters which it really having in its core. Unless and until we dont explore them there is no meaning to that.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the legit coin at launch? on: April 27, 2018, 08:02:02 AM
I think its not that easy to tell which one will be the best or which one will be the bad fall!

There is nothing like legit in the crypto, there is only one thing "certainty or uncertainty". So an ICO could be certain success or it could be uncertain to tell the same.

You just have to see various green flags rather than the red one. Just research on their telegram, white papers, websites, social network, ask your friends and ask on the forum itself. Check all the reviews and then do the algorithm whether it turns out be green one or not.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fund raising through an ICO on: April 27, 2018, 07:35:44 AM
ICO stands for Initial coin offering, so it's only feasible if you're creating a new coin or payout coins from the dev wallet.

It is possible to raise funds for an ICO as an already existing company, yes.

Indeed. Thats why they are creating them and to be honest thats the easier way to go as compared the bank funding option. The later one needs huge documentation, collateral securities and much more to pass the funding.

ICO's first principle is to create the funding source and thats why they provide you token of share! That symbolises your investment and give you title of share holder, thus once they profit then they share you profits!
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you create your portfolio by yourself or did you get support from var on: April 27, 2018, 05:57:52 AM
I do have porto, here my porto look like

I use this guy template, pretty easy to use though https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@mix1009/cryptocurrency-portfolio-template-version-2-for-google-sheets

I dont know how to resize img sorry if the image is to big

What software are you using to calculate your portfolio here? Thats really simple and looks like the macro in excel sheet isn't it? Can you share the details for it, would love to have it. Just for reference.

@OP, yes I go hunting the coins by myself as well as I will look fo the suggestion made by many other people around me. Mostly I will discuss with my crypto friends and will invest together on the same. This just helps enhance the coin knowledge and it makes me sure that im putting money somewhere safe.

I dont try to be randomised as crypto is really uncertain and it increases the risk that way.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best coin to mine? on: April 26, 2018, 01:46:24 PM
Hi I am currently mining BTC and BCC which is the best coin to mine?Huh?
Are you using SHA256 ASIC for mining them or are just enjoying draining power with GPUs?

lolz. Indeed! He cant really mine anything with the GPU's, I mean BTC and BCC are out of the question and good for heating the GPU's and have warm house.  Grin

I think OP is confused, and dont know whether he can mine BTC/BCC with GPU's or he might be having the ASICS and wanna ask whether alts are profitable to mine.

Long story short mate : GPU's - Depends on what you got, whats the power of mining and you cant really mine BTC with them.
ASICS : Mine BTC.

371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alts that are going to the moon on: April 26, 2018, 01:14:31 PM
As you said it yourself, all the coins have started their up surges and I would like to think that almost every coin that is in the top 100 will have some 50-100-200% gain by the end of 2018 year.

But to pick the best one who will provide more than 100x this year, here is the list.

IOST - Already on major exchanger like binance and surpassingly receiving huge volume of buy walls. This is just been four months and this coin has started to boom like anything.
ETH - As speculated already ETH is going to bit the market of almost top 10 alts in terms of market cap and might just receive alarming rates of 2500 USD and more that too before the mid year ends!
SCL - It stands at 700 rank in the CMC list but its progress is beyond the timeline and hence makes it my choice of coin. The expected rise is around 5-10USD by the end of this year and currently it stands at 20 cents only.

Rest to be followed.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox BTC sale imminent. Is this the beginning of the real bear market? on: April 26, 2018, 12:37:30 PM
Good question to open up the general discussion about the bull-bear market. However, I don think the market will crash now onwards because what you experienced yesterday was merely the response to MEW hacks which created panic amongst the people to forcibly sell the crypto currencies they have got.

This boat is no way sinking but it just had little pull back as result of FUD. Obviously we experience this all the time and there is no by means we are looking forward to the bear market. Just imagine after huge crash also we are still sustaining the price around 9K USD. Now that is thinkable !
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market has woken up on: April 26, 2018, 11:39:31 AM
It seems to be a new era for crypto market again. The percentage growth rate of most coins is increasing. For instance, Bitcoin Cash has risen over 80% in the last
week.

Its not really new era and calling that would put the crypto currency far in the future form the current timeline.

What we are experiencing right now is just another cyclic change in the crypto market which is making it grow the usual way. There is natural up surge thats coming along the way to which we call formally as bull market run.

If this continues for another week or so then be sure to see the ATH by the end of mid-year and im not guessing the year end yet!  Cheesy
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2018 on: April 26, 2018, 11:12:26 AM
Which price of a Litecoin is possible in 2018? What do you expect as alltime-high and price in end of 2018?

We can expect ATH for almost every other coin in the market considering this years dramatic falls, some good updates and countries going full positive about their acceptance. LTC stands amongst the top 5 coins so if there is going to be up surge then people will have most of the attention to this coin along with others too. Last year many people got lucky and hit the jackpot who bought the LTC as low as 30 bucks each. It was like same situation where you bought the BTC at couple of 100's and then it spiked all the way upto 19K USD. Possibility of LTC going up is huge and yes I would invest into it if I were you.

378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: April 25, 2018, 03:48:41 PM
Most of us join bounty campaigns because it is one of the means for us to get coins. I just want to verify how many of us have experienced waiting for a long period of time to get our coins. Don't get me wrong, i do trust the managers and what they say. And, most of them give valid  reasons why it'll take that long for them to distribute the rewards. In average, how long do you receive your coins after a bounty campaign?

Yes its completely normal and on top of this I have waited for more than a year for some bounties to work out their shitty roadmaps. There is one called as footballcoin. They came in hot when they started their adverting and today they stand at a point where they have no listing on the CMC and any single exchanger. What they made is their own exchanger to entertain people. They are close to legit one as their project seems to be hit but to be honest they suck at rewarding people.

So some shitty bounties can turn like that and pain in the back really. But mostly 3-6 months is standard period for any bounty.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: April 25, 2018, 02:41:38 PM
I came here in the hunt of money and nothing else. Previously I used to work as PTC collector, the paid to click sites collector and made loads of money out of them but needed to invest more than what I could earn. Many of you might know this way of earning the money was shit one. After sometimes my friends introduced me to the world of bitcoin and then the whole journey started looking great here as I actually earned more than what I invested or sometimes I just earn and earn without investing. That my friend is the reason which got me into the crypto currencies lately.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Share your best bounty on: April 25, 2018, 02:15:39 PM
Earlier had some suggestion about the bounty selection and now I am looking after the Deep Aero Drone and NynjaApp services. They are good in terms of having working model and when it comes to the working model then I am sure they do just fine in the bounty as well as in the later part of the ICO phases. These are two top picks fro this month from my side. The first preference is for the Deep Aero and then it is all about the NynjaApp. There are many more out there but none of them has attracted me yet. If any of them comes in later part then surely I will quote them here.
