361  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 06, 2023, 04:19:35 PM

actually there is no need to clear how much withdrawal it will either large or big because if KYC is implemented in mostly licensed casino ,then your data will be required even if you are creating an account.

In the past Roobet does not ask KYC as i have been playing here almost since the site was advertised in Bitcointalk but recently they implemented this feature to comply from government obligation.
For creating an account you don't need to submit any documents as it's required when you want to withdraw and it also depends on the amount you are trying to withdraw that will determine KYC level. But this KYC topic has been long going as you can find it in previous pages also and have not been added recently so we can't stress more about it but comply with it.
362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed Balance on: July 06, 2023, 04:01:42 PM

You could wait for it to be confirmed itself or you could bump up fees  since RBF was used for this transaction, but than again, if you didn't send this transaction than you can't bump the fees., only sender can do that.
Checking Mempool website you can see estimated fees with different priority levels and I always recommend checking that out before sending any coins.
I was also about to suggest RBF but as said he didn't make any transactions so he can't do it so the only option is with the sender and if the fees are lowered at some level it may be confirmed but most probably it will not happen so the transaction will be unconfirmed.

But thanks for that extension as I was not aware about it as it's really helpful for many to estimate the current network fees and can adjust the amount accordingly but always include RBF so you can add fees if it goes up by any chance to make fast confirmation.

Hey guys if you're active on Twitter, like this Rollbit's tweet for a chance to win $100. It's worth the shot since we won't lose anything and it's quite easy.

In addiction, for those digital artists here, join the #ArtTankTuesday sponsored by Rollbit. They acquire $1.5k worth of art every week. Check this for further details.
What do they do of the acquired artwork any update about it just asking out of curiosity because the team is doing it on weekly basis but that's good way to promote artist creation and appreciate Rollbit for sponsoring this week contest. The amount is also good $1.5k for any artwork they buy so whosoever find it opportunity get yourself some nice art work to see if you get selected. Thanks for sharing this.
364  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 14/05/2023 on: July 05, 2023, 04:27:52 PM
See if you are saving any record in this thread we should follow the rules mentioned in OP which clearly states
Code:
so we should follow it and you must crop it also to look it nice.

Speaking about leet then it's a Easter of egg when you reach 1337 posts and then everything turns normal but there's also one more which is at 100.000 posts mentioned here
365  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 05, 2023, 04:09:18 PM
There is a trend that more and more casinos start asking KYC even when gambling with small amounts or when you want to withdraw a small amount. I have been asked on multiple casinos to do KYC and my biggest withdrawal was maybe 200$ (and often a lot lower); so KYC applies to everybody.
With government regulations they have to follow up the rules but there are some casinos that don't require KYC by any chance so there is open space for gamblers but as you say about small gamblers then it's level based KYC and according to me amount below $500 needs minimum documentation but the problem occurs for big players who have to submit all the details. But yes now most of them are implementing this which cannot be avoided if you want to keep gambling over there.
366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importance of quality posts. on: July 05, 2023, 03:56:00 PM
Ok everyone sorry for this, I haven't come across a thread like this, I hope I haven't valuate any rules?
Making threads does not violate any rules but if the discussion has been there many times and still you make that unnecessary threads that's consider as spam posting which should be avoided. As you said about post quality it does not fit with such activities.

If you are not aware about that whether the thread has been made previously or not jusr use forum search function with the keywords and results will be displayed to you or for more optimised results checkout https://ninjastic.space
367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Faucet Free Bitcoin - For Beginner Experience on: July 05, 2023, 03:33:18 PM
In the earlier days there was faucet by Gavin Anderson that gives you 5 BTC because prices were very low in 2010 as it was in its initial state only so to give a boost he started this site. But if you are seriously looking to earn bitcoins now with the help of any faucet then it's wastage of time because you would spend hours there getting minimal amounts. The reason behind it is the price is at $30k so why would any platform giving away huge amounts to many without even doing anything special?

There are many sites and games as well offering you the same sort of gifts and rewards in Bitcoin as well as other cryptos but also have withdrawal limits as mentioned by you and you would spend considerable time reaching that amount only.So find some other good ways to earn if you are interested in like :

1) Accept payments if you are merchant and can implement LN channel also

2) Offer services if you have any to clients demanding bitcoin payments

3) Sell some stuff online and see if someone is giving bitcoin in exchange for it

But faucet is not a good idea according to me at this time.
368  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Petition to remove Wasabi from recommendations of bitcoin.org on: July 04, 2023, 04:01:49 PM
You are still not understanding the clear distinction between being an honest centralized service and a dishonest one. Someone who uses Coinbase knows well that they have zero control since they don't even have access to their own keys. Not to mention the KYC they enforce. They are not advertised as KYC-less custodial wallet, they are advertised and known as a centralized KYC-enforcing privacy invading necessary evil.
This is both honest and OK.
They are clear on that agenda like they have specified in their SEC filing also that if any case they go bankrupt the users funds will be used to pay off any liabilities although not too much advertising about it but still better then claiming like your funds are yours. They are also among those platforms who doesn't care about your privacy putting restrictions on withdrawal but when we talk about Wasabi then it seems like decent options who are not cheating with the users trying to scam them.
369  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 04, 2023, 03:45:00 PM

Edit: Just came to my awareness that you've made a scam accusation thread against Rollbit. As such, I recommend you to stop replying here and move all the discussion into the scam accusation thread so it can be more focused and help people track the development of your case easier. In reflect of this, I am also moving the original content and the query of this post to the accusation thread.
That's better to fixate discussion on that thread only he has opened up providing evidence in his support but the user has already provided with explanation that why the bet wad void and team has also responded to the same. But still this discussion should be moved there while having normal conversation about Rollbit here.

371  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: July 04, 2023, 03:22:15 PM
If you click on it, you'll find an interactive version of it!
The script has presented the good cluster results and does it produces the graphical representation as well or you use external sources for it? The progress for them is really good with active posters as well from the board.

I was also surprised to see such a big merit increase in Indonesian board (first thing that crossed my mind is that they maybe got a new merit source but I was too lazy to check Merit Dashboard to see what's acually going on) but then Ratimov gave an explanation that external merit sources gave them a push.
Yeah and flash @Ratimov has great cluster lines spreading across different members like the roots of old tree along with @DdmrDdmr and others but this is really good and needful for the progress of local board members.Speaking about additional merit source then I also doubt that if any has been appointed from a long time. But if the merit source help them that will boost their confidence and we might see more progress in all aspects from Indonesian board in your next month charts.
372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying merit parmited on: July 04, 2023, 03:04:59 PM
What exactly do you need merits for? If you have in mind that after you buy merits from someone whatever the deal is and think you can join campaign later on then it's totally wastage of time because managers will also evaluate your post history which will tell the posts are not worth it so what's the fun behind it? The system was implemented to prevent spam posters but if you somehow get it by paying for it you didn't gain anything with enhancement in your knowledge.

You are newbie here just exploring different threads is what you should focus on and when you write some quality stuff or even something useful like asking some good doubts also then you will get merits your way which is the best not to follow any such advice of whosoever is convincing you to buy merits.
373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 01, 2023, 05:02:56 PM

I'm sure Roobet also have other corporate social responsibility activities aside from this, and its good that Roobet is taking this seriously.
We are not just a gambler on this site, we are also part of this growing community and looking forward for more exposure with Roobet that can bring more help to many people. Little did we know, Roobet is working behind to work for their purpose and its not just about making money, its also about helping a lot of people.
Being a good casino or business platform the social elements are equally important because that shows the community relations which are essential for them to survive. But if they perform it well like such donations for helping out the needy it should be appreciated and Roobet team is always working towards accomplishment of these things.
374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Board explanation for newbies on: July 01, 2023, 10:23:46 AM
As already pointed out by @SeriouslyGiveaway you can check out the thread by @mprep to find the general guidelines on which boards are dedicated to respective discussion but even if you wrongly create them the moderators move them to the specific board for further discussion. But it's not too tough once you get yourself engaged in active discussion learning about forum rules and reading the pinned threads on top of each board when you enter.
375  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 01, 2023, 10:09:26 AM

When problem show up some people immediately read the TOS which is bad action to do. They should read this while starting to register on their casino to avoid any issue and now this problem occur I think if I'm not wrong the accuser might be lose in this case since he violate the rules of the casino. But either way let see if there's settlement of the issue in good faith so that both parties can solve the issue and move on.
If you have signed up after agreeing to the all the terms mentioned there and raise concern afterwards how should they are responsible for it? They are not providing odds themselves and if they found it void they can cancel it but wait if they want to comment anything on the issue to provide better explanation.
376  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 14/05/2023 on: July 01, 2023, 09:52:22 AM
To add some more nice numbers to this thread I have captured two more records of high rank members in the 5k merit club and it's for @NotATether and @cygan  who have managed to get 5454 and 5600 merits respectively which is really worth saving. This was taken a day before so now these numbers might have been shattered as they also get merits at good pace but still saved them

377  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN] Is DdmrDdmr even human? on: June 30, 2023, 04:57:12 PM
Just noticed after your post how the merit spree is growing within milliseconds span and the @DdmrDdmr merit sending machine has again been fueled so waiting for the actual spreadsheet stats to see how many of them were sent during this time at unbeatable speed again.

Some happy moments for users when they are going to get notifications on their smartphones or watches when they have merits and some of them will know who's busy on the work now  Grin with smile on the face.
378  Other / Meta / Re: Can someone please tell me what happened with all these dead image links of old? on: June 30, 2023, 04:47:10 PM
Happy Thursday Gang,

I know this is pretty random but I can't help but mention this, I feel like so many old posts will be taken out of context now since Btalk won't allow us to use that imgur BBcode, i'm not sure why. Everyone used it, and now there is some other preferred method? I never thought pictures could be so complicated. What I am sure of is that there is a thread somewhere and some smarty pants is going to kindly share the link to that thread because I have yet to find it! I'm sure i've missed some huge memo on this or something somewhere. But could someone please explain to me why those image source codes no longer work, and tell me which ones do?

Cheers,

TREAD
The Imgur blocking the forum images was a issue and all the old posts containing BBcode embedded images now shows invalid image proxy error but we have very good alternative to it https://talkimg.com/ developed by @joker_jouse so forum users can upload without any problem and depending on these third party software for hosting images.

I don't know what to say. Because I was going to make a post like this but you preceded it. So I can only comment

I agree with you
If we don't have something to say or someone has already answered it the way were going to do and don't have something more to contribute we simply leave it nothing much.Just a normal advice to you.

The forum has a search option, and someone who has been on the forum for a long time should use such options if they are interested in something. Besides, Meta is not a board that has any restrictions in the sense that you should not regularly check what is happening on the forum.
The forum search gives kind of messy results which could be hard for newbies to get the desired threads links although they could apply different filters to make search more effective. But in turn it could be more useful if they directly do google search with forum keyword at last that will direct them to related threads like this one:

Code:
 Imgur issue on bitcointalk
Imgur images not displaying bitcointalk

This can help them to have some sorted results rather then looking on forum directly that can be confusing for them but they could also use https://ninjastic.space/ for more information.
379  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 30, 2023, 04:32:17 PM

it's definitely better to stay with websites that have some reputation like roobet and duelbits
even with the KYC, if you don't mind sending your documents you know that this will be a website that will respect your wins and is unlikely to scam you

lower risk
The site is trustworthy so you can send your documents for KYC process but concern is that they use third party for these kind of works sometimes to manage data and leak could be on their end which un turn could be problematic for us.But yes we have some kind of assurance with trusted sites that they will not misuse it rather then giving details to some unethical casinos with red flags.
380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best opportunity to harvest your hodl results? on: June 30, 2023, 04:16:16 PM
There is no thing as perfect timing because it depends on individual perceptions like those who have hold it from the early days have millionaire status but that would be reality when they actually sell the coins so now question is whether they consider it as best time to harvest it or not like they can still hold it for more years. But on the opposite some might have invested previous year when prices were high say near about $40k+ so it's loss situation for them and can't say when will be good time for them to make profits.

But on the opposite side if seek reality we are taking bitcoin as investment purpose only forgetting that it has payment mode also to alternate fiat related transactions with control over your funds but majority is taking it this way so can't do much about it as well want profits to be associated with what we invest for.But are you serious about Island talk? Because someone with good bitcoin in custody can think about it but house is reasonable and there is one thread What can 1 Bitcoin buy in your country? so see how much beneficial it could be but accumulating full bitcoin is hard at this time.

Coming back to your question it really depends on our targets like what we want to buy or when we want to sell seeking good time and satisfactory profits on your end because the market will go up down always so you decide entry exit point based on your analysis.
