I can't say what will happen with the people funds who have lost it to the FTX crash but yes there is small hope of recovery for them and market can come alive again but now it's hope and need time for recovery.

The monthly activity is high in Pakistan board as we see from @Rifakip local board monthly activity charts but what happened with Nigerian community is long awaited efforts with lot of requests from the members and after so many years they have finally received this as pre Christmas gift from @theymos.

You can also request it for and other members from your community can show support to it and maybe we also see addition of one more board but it will take some time or if @theymos have it he will implement it.I have seen there is lot of discussion in your local threads and merit ratio is also there but you need to request it along with the community back so maybe you also get it and hope you also have it.

As you said more stats and proper thread with graphical representation explaining the points of your local board and why you need it will be much better.More if comes from few more members like the Nigerian community has shown from long with some regular threads and follow up briefing about merits, active users and posts on forum.So think about it and hope for best.


We can say that English is common language among them but there is difference in other languages as Hindi is most common in parts of India while Urdu is the language for Pakistani people so it's not entirely same if we want to write post in their own local boards in these languages.But yes the English writing style for many Indians is good as you see most parts of the country has this language along with their regional language so they don't have problems in it.

Yes he managed to reach it this year making it more special for him but yes others might also have achieved it as members in 2k club is also not big if we check it out but he was the one that came into my my notice and saved the record for him timely.

See I don't see any point in discussing that what's the criteria of selecting the winners as there are no complex algorithms involved in it and it's just what the team likes they select it.Supoose you have two different arts and you like X more as it looks more creative and nice to you then automatically you will select it and the team have same thing in mind.But for them it is also hard as there are many good entries and they have to make tough choices but this is what competition is all about.

See it's really good that you want to gift your friends parents these coins but as as advice I would say that if you can convert your altcoins into bitcoin if you have already bought them or if you are planning to buy just go for bitcoin as a gift to them due to some reasons.It would be more beneficial for them to hold it in long term and as you said they don't want to handle all the technical part it would be much easy for them to have bitcoin as one coin in one non custodial wallet like Electrum and they only need to backup the seed safely with them.

But if you want then you have many options above like different wallets or trust wallet but my advice is to have non custodial wallet with bitcoin as the coin it otherwise there are hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor which you can have and support your existing coins which you have a look at it.

It's not completely open source and some source code is kept secret and they give reason it's for safety of users to backup this so I have doubts with them and would not recommend it to someone who is new to this and manage their wallets first time.The start from Atomic swap exchange and DeFi exchange and now offering different coins but for me it's not safe and his parents need some good wallet for use.

Actually if you are talking about diversification in your portfolio in crypto market then I would disagree with you on this point because investing in shitcoins just to diversify your portfolio is not at all good option here.Moreover if you are saying assets then as @bitmover said above it should be of different markets like stocks, bonds,crypto but here what other long potential coins you have in mind else then bitcoin?

These threads try to educate newbies with all those points copied from other sources and then converted into long wall of text with highlighting points but fail to make the exact point.This section is more of providing some useful information for members and think this thread is more suitable in trading discussion if you are giving such advice not here.

But for me bitcoin is the only potential coin here with long term holding benefits as you state but suppose I put my money of $1000 into 5 different coins and then a crash comes you know the invested amount in 4 coins other then bitcoin will be gone and the evidence can be found that top -10 on CMC have always shifted but BTC remain the king so why spread your eggs in different basket when you can have them all in one without being broken? You just need to understand bitcoin and true means of decentralisation and you will never come up with these points.

Don't know what's the problem with his account but does it has anything to do with KYC like he needs to submit his documents before the team will allow him to withdraw or by switching the device he can withdraw the funds to his account? Just want to get a clear picture as his post also don't have any proof to show why this happened but yes he can try using your suggestion to see if it works for him as well or not.

If they start the refund procedure then likely they will get it but don't think so full amount will be refunded and part payments will be processed if it happens and they recover some funds from the FTX.But that's not happening around in near time if we see it but they can keep hopes but for me those who have funds there have been lost.

Not only him many others have thought FTX to be safe heaven for keeping their funds and some also holds their native token FTT which completely lost it's value and those who like him beleive CEX are safe have big lesson to take from this scam and dramatic downfall and insolvency of FTX and people like SBF have only one motive which is to earn profits out of your pockets.

But I would ask @OP how much total you have lost? See we all learn at some point and no need to feel lile loser because you can earn good profits with knowledge here and then those people will seek advice from you and don't feel demotivated by any wrong comments instead gain knowledge of market.

The $14/hour pay job might be low in your country but people have been living at wage rate comparatively really low in third world countries and still investing in bitcoin keeping their expenses aside so you can manage your expenses accordingly.But you can also develop some skills to gain more high paying jobs with different opportunities and rise your financial status and one more thing you can share whatever you want with this community learning from here as well.

Although have not known you too closely like some of the members but have previously joined some campaign under your management and could tell that you have been really good at your work and done your work on forum like a good member and manager.We all here on forum are like online community who have some common interests to share with and can see how much pain you have went through but still coming up strong.

Yeah this month we are not seeing great surge coming in bitcoin but each year we don't see bitcoin prices going up in December if you see the charts clearly but can anticipate some pumps coming up in new year being optimistic but will see how it goes.

I know when you are keeping these types of threads alive where you have lot of posts to review and then finding out some members are cheating then it's really hard to digest and frustrating at the same time.I also see you have made some more clarifications in the @OP which is good and now it's responsibility of the members to read the rules and then only apply accordingly.The additional rule of adding Round while submitting application is good and give statistical information for application per member.

I think it's specifically for this thread that if you have submitted one post for review here then don't submit it again and again for merits because if he find suitable and review it he will automatically gives merit on the same.You can submit your post in different threads as if it's quality post and have useful information it can be merited by different users so it's not a problem according to me.But @fillippone can throw light on it more clearly as he is the one making rules in this thread.

If you are getting your full salary in bitcoin then it's risky as suggested above due to its volatile nature.For example you received $500 at an estimate rate of $16500 then you will receive approximately 0.0303BTC but the next day or moment the prices drop to say $15500 you will have $469 with you which means $31 down in your value so this is main concern if you are taking salary in this format as your expenses could be compromised in case of major crash so handle it carefully.

If you are referring to the seed phrase then it's randomly generated 12/24 words from the 2048 word list which you can find here and these are adopted by most of the wallets.

You can download the electrum wallet and it will ask you for the seed phrase and it's compatible with BIP-39 so you will be having access to your funds if it's in right order or if you have full words.

But if you are talking about something else you need to specify as @DdmrDdmr have suggested that passphrase is also there but it's for extra security of your funds and you also need to have it but it's optional only.So check once and see if works for you.
