Entrant List

Ticket          Name

362  Economy / Games and rounds / [CLOSED] [RAFFLE] New Bitmain S4 (Batch 2). 0.1BTC for a 1/40 Chance on: October 02, 2014, 10:42:35 PM
RAFFLE
Antminer S4, Batch 2, Shipping direct from Bitmain October 10th onwards

Introduction
There is no doubting that the S4 is a great machine, sadly it's price makes it a tough buy for a lot of people.  So I figure I would offer a raffle with decent odds and a low price.

Pricing
Each ticket is BTC0.1 and you may buy as many as you like until we reach the limit of 40 tickets.

How To Pay
Send BTC0.1 for each ticket you want to buy to the following address
1HzZyTVni8UuHUdvEtRJ5cJXwmJVgDzDeE
Once the transaction has been sent please post in this thread (everything will be public), ensure that you send from an address you can sign a message with in case of disputes
You can check the address below before sending to confirm that the list is not full, once there is BTC4 no more entries will be accepted.
https://blockchain.info/address/1HzZyTVni8UuHUdvEtRJ5cJXwmJVgDzDeE

What's In It For You ?
Not much to be honest, the miner is currently BTC3.304 and shipping is approx BTC0.467 so if everything stays the same I might make BTC0.2, if the value of BTC falls I might actually lose.  But I'm in a good mood, I want to see if this is a good idea and build a reputation for holding them if there is interest.

Why Should I Trust You ?
I've been on the forums for quite and while and done a few trades, but quite frankly you shouldn't trust anyone.  squall1066 has agreed to act as escrow on this offer and will hold the sum of BTC6.
https://blockchain.info/tx/6858cdbc97c4eea20f8e0a2f7e70e662791847ed43e6a15b1bde19499754e7df
If something goes wrong he will distribute BTC5 back to all the entrants so not only will get your coins back you'll actually make a profit and he will keep the remaining BTC1 for any work involved.  I hope this will provide enough confidence for people to enter.

Is Shipping Included ?
Yes up to a value of BTC0.5, if it costs more then you will need to pay the extra. You will be responsible for any import charges and duties or fees that may be payable.

What happens if Bitmain sell out before all the tickets are bought ?
All payments will be refunded

How Will The Draw Be Made ?
I intend to use a third party service random.org, you can read about how it works here... http://www.random.org/draws/
Once the draw is made, the result will be posted here, you will also be able to check on their site that you were entered correctly.

When Will The Draw Be Made ?
As soon as all 40 tickets are sold.

Woohoo I Won, What Now ?
I will ask you to sign a message from your bitcoin address confirming your identity, get your shipping details (and payment for the extra if shipping is over BTC0.5) and place the order on your behalf. Any communication from Bitmain eg Tracking Ref will be forwarded on to you.

I've probably forgotten things, like I say this is a trial to see how it goes. So if there is anything I've overlooked please ask and I will clarify in this post.
363  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KnC NEPTUNE's spare cubes - controllers - full miners shipping WW from EU on: September 30, 2014, 06:22:18 PM
Unfortunately, I do not trust to buy from you. Sorry!

There is no pictures of the miner, I do not even know where in the EU you live.

You don't need to trust the seller. You can use a trusted escrow provider.

You send the bitcoins to the escrow provider.  Then you wait until you receive the product.  If you receive what was promised, then you authorize the escrow provider to release the bitcoins from escorw to the seller.  If you do not receive what was promised, then you return whatever you did receive, and the bitcoins are released from escrow back to you.

This ^^

FWIW I bought some spondoolies machines off up.debug a couple of weeks ago and everything went fine, miners shipped from the EU to answer your other question.
364  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 11x Hosted Spondoolies SP10 on: September 29, 2014, 11:36:58 PM
I'd be tempted as I have a load at Mich Colo already so it would be an easy deal, but that price is insane for these forums.

At current difficulty they make about $70 a month after the hosting fee, so that's 11 months to break even if difficulty never rose.  Plus it will only take 3x 15% jumps before they cost more to run that they make.

Chuck em on ebay quick Smiley
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 28, 2014, 09:45:21 PM
.... mining fast coin => you will loose a lot of hashrate.

You can just mine coin like litecoin or feathercoin

this explain why the Titan doesn't work well on multipool

This has been true for every piece of KNC Hardware.

Whereas everything else I own handles blocks changes without missing a beat, KNC hardware slows to a crawl for a good 10 seconds every time there is a new block or a request for a work restart.

Not sure what they've done to cause this, why it's never been looked at, and why nothing else does the same, but it's been like this since the jupiter.
366  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KnC Miner list of orders - Neptune on: September 28, 2014, 02:04:21 PM
Delivered 3rd September

Anyone know when we get our free neptune??

Not heard anything, if it takes much longer it'll use more in electric than it mines.
367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter Prisma (>=1.4 T/device, 0.75-0.78 W/G, <1 BTC/T, October Shipping) on: September 28, 2014, 01:43:22 AM
The price is good and the improved power consumption means that they have a much longer lifespan, but....

For me I now ship all my miners to be hosted as I save the import tax and it costs less to run than it does here due to the high UK electric rates.

So I'd really like to buy a lot of these but they aren't really suited to mass deployment as it's a lot of work and fiddling around for my data centre and they aren't easily rackable

What I need is an all in one machine similar to the S2/S4, a nice case containing a pi or similar to run the blades and an optional PSU, anyone working on something like that ?
368  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 26, 2014, 10:09:06 AM

After you take all these in consideration you can make a real calculation:

Oh, God... Why all of you believe that exchange rate for 1 BTC will always be 400+$?... What makes you think so?..

And why do people think the exchange rate has ANYTHING to do with hardware purchases.

If it mines less btc than it costs you've lost regardless of what happens to the rate.

Spend BTC3.5 and get back BTC2 and you are  BTC-1.5

If you are lucky and BTC doubles to $800 and you cash out yes you will have made a small profit, but if you hadn't bought the thing in the first place you'd have made a much bigger one.

pcfli,

what is the eta for remote access on the 1.5th hosted dragons.

I bought because them because they were at the professional hosting site and this was supposed to be one of the features.

It's costing me around 25% a day in lost income not being able to move pools quickly.

BitCrane T-110 - 0.75 to 0.85TH [ambient sensitive]

Those bitcranes are nice looking machines, how come it's so slow I thought they were meant to be 1.1TH and there was nothing in your guide about the lower speed.

#midascoin company Midas Payment LTD has licensed for the launch a BIG opt-in list of targeted email.  The email has been licensed to us as opt-in.

Thanks for answering the question.

My email address was solely used for cryptorush, they did not have permission to give it out to third parties, so whomever you obtained the list from is not using an opt in list as they claim, I will have to give you the benefit of the doubt that you were unaware at the time, but you may want to take it up with them as you've been mis-sold.
374  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 2TH/s, Batch 1 on Sale this week, shipping before Sept. Ends on: September 17, 2014, 04:48:26 PM
I wonder what happens to all their old S2's from their farm.  I wished they would sell those really cheap.

They already sold them to a bunch of suckers.... see hashnest.com

Tell us if the FAQ clarify every doubt.  Your opinion matter!

You missed the most asked question of all, how did you obtain the cryptorush email list.

You ruled out any association with them which left
1. You stole it
2. You bought it

Since you don't appear to want to answer it I'm left to presume 1.

Of course you are welcome to clarify if I am incorrect, or delete this post if you don't want to answer.

 2@1600 is fine by me.

Are you sure, in auctions
'2' means bidding for 2 items
'1600' means the price EACH
377  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 16, 2014, 07:57:29 PM
Ok.. Hosting seems to be bit expensive.

I'd check the sums again, all mine have gone to the USA for hosting and it's cheaper than the UK in all respects

For a start you save the 20% import duty, 2x SP30's at say $4500 each works out around £1,100 total. If they go to the USA you pay 0

Typical UK Electric is around 15p, using 5400 watts is around £20 or $32 A DAY, $944 a month

Where I host my machines you would pay $700 a month, so your saving $250 a month in hosting and the $1760 import fees, you don't have to worry about power/internet or cooling and you have full access to the machines and can make any changes.

Thank you Tigggger. This was really useful information. Is there a fixed term contract with them? Would it be 6months? What happens after the contract finishes? Do i get the item shipped back to London? And I would need to pay the duty then right?

My pleasure, there is no fixed contract with the company I mentioned you just pay monthly and can cancel anytime.

I intend to sell mine to someone in the USA when I no longer require them as again you'd have to pay the 20% if they come back to the UK
