Hi,

This coin is still live on Yobit, but i still can't find any peers.
Any help please? (as usual Yobit never respond, or say they have no peers - duh, how do they run a live wallet then?Huh )

Thanks

Just a thought to all the newbies.

Looks like you are all trying to grab some HODL and lock it for a year....but just got me wondering, if everyone is doing same, surely when the coins mature, there will be such a massive excess of coins, that they will be virtually worthless....

Just a thought i guess.
Perhaps best to say lock different amounts for different times, then at least in 12 months there perhaps wont be a billion HODL hit the market all at once....

Who knows...

Hi,

Just saw the link, got very excited, and had to go look.

First up, i love your product, and would love to buy one....
However, sorry to say, but i think especially in the UK, your pice now seems way out of touch.

I mean fully loaded with psu and sd card, iys over £320 before shipping and taxes.
When you compare that to how ridiculously cheap 2nd hand L3+ now are...well, i don't really know what to say

Look, i sincerely wish you all the best, and will still happily refer newbies to your product (as i say, i am a supporter, and it IS a prpbably the best starter device on the market), but one is bad, but by the time you buy 2 or 3, i mean you could have 1-1.5ghs from elsewhere.

In my mind its no more than a £200 device, fully loaded.

Just my 2p worth....

we are having good progress with whitepapers and tx-appendix update,
but while we work on it, here is a little hacking contest, for you to solve and earn some ZTTL (if you are the first one to achieve the goal):

Have fun!

LOL, i can probably workout the missing characters, but how do you use the private key to get to the coins? I never did understand that bit

Sorry, but my VRC is for hodling and staking - not selling  Wink Why not just open a Bittrex or Livecoin account? There's no KYC for Livecoin.

Been on Livecoin years, but whilst they let you deposit no issues, they need KYC to withdraw....

I can't believe no one has 100 coin to sell

Thanx for your reply.
No the version of my wallet is V.3.0.2.0.Do you think this is the problem?I used it 30-07-2019 with no problem and then i used it yesterday and the problem i described happend!Ok i will update the wallet.Do you think i lost the hodls or with the update they will be sent properly?

Edit:i successfully updated the wallet to the latest version and now i wait!Do you think this will fix the problem or i must do something else too?The think that worries me is that hodl explorer can not find any off the problematic transaction IDs but in the wallet the confirmations rise up as usual!

Edit:now all the transactions are mark as conflicted!

Hi,
Looks like you have used the old wallet after the fork, so i think they will be lost....speak to Freetrade, he might be able to advise

Hi,

I'm wanting to buy 100 VRC so i can test staking, BUT i'm not on any of the exchanges that sell VRC,
So, would anyone accept  a direct trade BTC for VRC.

100 VRC is about $5, or 0.0005 BTC.
Anyone up for it...

Thanks

how much can you get with 100 tb per day. ?
have a calculator?
I want to try solo

U mean how much Diskcoins you can get with 100 tb per day?
No one can tell you that.
More capacity means that the probablity to get diskcoins increased.
it's the chance. not a certain thing.
so, NO calculator.

Wow, does anyone actually read anything properly on any forum.

True, no one can actually predict your earning, but if you simply go to the main pool
https://www.poolx.com/
At the moment it guesstimates 0.05 DISC/TB

Was that info, SO hard to find.....cos if it was , i'm not sure mining is your thing Smiley

Good luck
J

Oh, and the current Network Difficulty: 68.23 PiB, so you'd have about a 1 in 682.3 chance of winning a block with 100TB

374  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: UK Guy - I'm wanting to buy large HHD's for BTC on: August 07, 2019, 04:19:45 PM
Hi,

I'm looking to expand my hdd mining system, and am looking for large hhds, can be new or used, just gotta be cheap, and willing to take BTC.
If you have anything over 2TB, i'm interested, over 4TB, more interested...

I'm in the UK, and unless your happy, safely boxing and shipping em, would prefer you to be in the Yorkshire area.

If they're 2nd hand, and/or archive drives (SMR) please be very reasonable with your expectations, they can die at any time, and are generally much much slower, noisier, and more power hungry than new drives

Give us a shout

375  Economy / Computer hardware / UK Guy - looking for 12v solar panels for mining project on: August 07, 2019, 03:44:34 PM
Hi,

I'm looking into a solar project to utilise 2 massive old batteries and a 300 watt invertor i was given

The batteries are 12v, 225AH each

and the invertor is a Maplin special 300 watt invertor.

So i am hoping to find some generous people who perhaps have some panels / controllers that they no longer need.

Since i only have 1 invertor rated @ 300w, which i wouldn't trust running 24hrs/day @ say more than 75%, i'm guessing i need about 200-300 watts worth of panels.

I know zero about solar, but am guessing all the gear must exist for me to connect diff types / powers of panels to 1 controller, and to my batteries, so i can link to the invertor...

I've seen these on FB Market place https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/416919618915712/ or https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/700632917027043/ , but have no idea how, if they could be used to charge the batteries i have.

If anyone has any old panels / convertors going cheap/free, please drop me a line.

Thanks

376  Economy / Computer hardware / UK Guy - I'm wanting to buy old multi core, multi cpu servers for BTC on: August 07, 2019, 02:41:53 PM
Hi,

I'm wanting to get into cpu mining, and am looking for 1 old server to do some testing.
Xeon, Opteron, Threadripper, heck, even EYPC (if i'm lucky)

I'm currently running a 1800x (8c/16t 32GB ram) so needs to beat that...

Ideally looking for along the lines of 16c/32t over 2-4 cpus. (32cores would be even better)
At least 8GB per cpu, preferably 16+
Not bothered about hdd. (I'll be using a 60 SSD)

Must be working.
Must be able to run Win 7 and 10 and also Ubuntu 14.04.6 LTS and Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS

I know it looks like i'm asking a lot, but i'm pretty sure that there's loads of older gear sitting around do virtually nothing but heading towards a skip, so no silly prices.
Alternatively, if anyone out there has this kind of kit sat on a shelf not doing much, but doesnt really want to sell, i'd be very interested in hiring a server for while, just need to remote access, and have the above OS's on it.

I'm in the UK (Yorkshire), and can travel a reasonable distance to collect, but delivery preferable.

Thanks
J

Hi,

Feel sad to have to post about this issue yet again....BUT

To the dev's of this coin...you really need to sort out he syncing issues.

If i leave the wallet closed say for 2-3 3 weeks, when i re-open them, the Verium Vault sysc no issues, the Vericoin....TOTAL CRAP.
I'm on Win 10 fully updated, wallet "VeriCoin - Current Version v1.7.2.0_64bit", and its synced to 98.78% with 25 connections...
18 hours earlier it was synced to 98.6% !

Devs, you really need to find a solution for this, what future does any coin have if you can't easily sync the wallet....
Oh, and NO, i am not "clearing anything", downloading a "bootstrap", or any of the other un-necessary things i have been "advised" to do in the past...i will leave it to sync its self, even if it takes a month....

Someone, please just fix it....

Ok, rant over
