3721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe wallet for a newbie on: June 03, 2016, 07:34:54 AM
I am reading the forum daily and am registered here a few days ago.
What do you people suggest for a safe wallet for a newbie, I am not that tech guy , just the average joe with computers.
I have read that Blockchain.info is one of the best wallets, but I have also read that there are a lot of other wallets that they call local wallets like Bitcoin core Multibit Electrum and Armory also phone wallets. Which is one you can sleep safe at night ?

See if you want to do very quick transaction and do not want to get in the hassle of synchronizing the wallet again and again then I would suggest blockchain.info wallet. Else bitcoin core is best if you are available with more disk spaces and ~70 GB bandwidth.
3722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats about the Gambling, when Bitcoin is going up? on: June 02, 2016, 07:46:15 PM
I don't quite understand your question about Gambling going up.
But regarding bitcoins, it's going up probably (not entirely sure) by the halving which will be anytime this July.
This will probably not affect gambling that much because the gambling sites would just probably continue to operate on their usual daily basis.
3723  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your favorite slot game and game provider? on: June 02, 2016, 07:39:12 PM
I'm not entirely a fan of slot games but when it comes to gambling, I really like Plinko games because it's exciting to see where the ball will drop. I usually play plinko on local carnivals here in our place and most of time I either go home with no change in the amount I have or 1.5x the money I had before I played.
3724  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: XAPO no access on: June 02, 2016, 07:21:28 PM
no no not a pin verification...

verification as in send ID and proof of residence
Just follow their instructions and send them whatever information they need from you. I'm pretty sure a company like them wouldn't do anything malicious to the information you provide them, but only use them as verification purposes that you actually own that account.
3725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: June 02, 2016, 07:04:10 PM
Hey so i recently got about 1,5 BTC from a service i started and now im wondering what i should do with this. Any tips?

See if you want to have some serious profits without having much risk, then invest your bitcoins into gambling sites as partner in profit sharing, though they can be risky and check the site 10 times before investing actually. There are many sites are now a days accepting partnerships.
3726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: June 01, 2016, 08:37:27 PM
gambling has never made me cry because I am a man and I am not going to cry when I have lost some money. Maybe I would cry if I won the jackpot I would only cry out of happiness.
Crying because you lose is not something man should do.
Good for you but that's not the case for everybody. Most gamblers are crying when they lost because they are not disciplined and violates the number one rule for gambling: Gamble only the amount that you can bear to lose.
3727  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does sending Bitcoins feel good? on: June 01, 2016, 06:30:23 PM
It feels good to hear but badly upsets my mind. I do not like to spend my bitcoins and when I send anyone I feel good that I just spread bitcoins to more people at the same time that pain of reducing of bitcoins to lesser amount.
3728  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: June 01, 2016, 06:21:18 PM
Oh no don't worry if there comes a panic selling because it only means that there are more coins available to the market and more coins for the bigs to buy. Panic selling and the price drops? There's even more panic buying because they'll be thinking that the price would go up.
3729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: June 01, 2016, 05:18:43 PM
To gamble in a smart way you must stop playing or withdraw your earnings when your capital has already been doubled or even win 50% profit from your capital. Because when you play longer the higher chance you will lose or what we call the house edge.

That's a good advice in my opinion. I've noticed that if you play after you've doubled your initial balance your chances to lose are 99%. I've lost many times playing like that.

Also we shouldn't forget that we can lose at the very start.
Like what you stated, there are thousands of different kind of strategies available about gambling to secure our bankroll.
But the problem is remembering them and applying while gambling is the biggest challenge for the gambler.
In the opinion too there won't be any smart way to gamble safely.
3730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 01, 2016, 05:12:16 PM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin
Gambling is not wrong in my opinion if people want to give out there money at casinos that is their problem. I only think that it is somewhat wrong of the people that need money to still go gambling.
I agree that gambling is not a wrong thing to do some people find it fun to gamble. If those people want to gamble then it is there choice we cannot say what they can and cannot do. If you think that gambling is wrong then that is your opinion.
But we need to follow the opinion of what most of the people are thinking.
Only very few people do not agree that gambling is wrong. In my opinion those people have not touched gambling in their entire life so far. That is the reason they may be claiming gambling is not wrong.
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: June 01, 2016, 05:06:19 PM
A lot of people have a gambling problem but I think its not very bad because it will mostly go over in a couple of months.
Its just a period that someone has this in my opinion.

If you catch the addiction in early stage, maybe you can stop it in a few months. But if the addiction is quite severe, then it will be a long and tiring process before the patient can be cured. And it will be harder because there is so much online casinos that gamblers can easily fall back to addiction.
Practically no gambler realize their addiction in the earlier days of their gambling life.

Only the symptoms like shortage of bankroll and bad name in socil life ( both in family as well as in workplace) will make them to know about his addictions to gambling.

The cruel truth about gambling problem is the addiction is rarely completely curable.
3732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: June 01, 2016, 04:59:33 PM
The only thing you can do that will help you is to talk to someone close to you and find some other hobby to do that will keep your thoughts of of gambling.
Only that will help you to stop with gambling.
yeah to perform other activities you will get a little flurry of activity to another. and this can make your mind to not always on gambling ? maybe you need a few days to continue to exist on that hobby until you really have forgotten in gambling Cheesy
Yes, get practiced even to the inner thoughts is more important to stay away from gambling. But when you are into your new environment which is fruitful as well as entertaining you means, then your inner thoughts will not let you to think about gambling again and again.
3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2016, 04:16:35 PM
Sometimes I feel bitcoins are becoming popular as they can be used on gambling sites easily unlike fiat cash that can become an issue later on. However, bitcoins are not viewed as a legal currency due to this and since I don't gamble, I don't wish to be associated with such websites which are too risky.
Well, with bitcoins you have the best advantage that you are not known by real name, while if you make account on sites like bet365 you will have to give them whole verification and ID's as per their so called KYC terms. Bitcoins means always freedom, a gambler always looking for.
3734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: June 01, 2016, 04:09:23 PM
Slots is a method of entertainment and not actually gambling in my opinion.

I always love playing slots just to enjoy the graphics environments and videos. But the reality is I never won a single buck from slots and to be honest I never intended to Tongue
3735  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-05-27] PayPal Modular Payment System Will Support Bitcoin on: May 31, 2016, 06:53:32 PM
PayPal literally hates bitcoins and this news seems real as even reddit confirmed the same.
I hope this is true and we can cashout bitcoins via PayPal easily without needing to pay high fees.
3736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the advantage and disadvantage of Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2016, 06:48:16 PM
The advantages of bitcoin are that it is best payment method, it is decentralized and not controlled by Government and disadvantage it cannot be used everywhere.

I'm thinking exactly the same thing to be honest, the fact is that its nice that its self controllable but the big disadvantages that its still not accepted by a lot of stores online in in real.
I hope this will change soon or later.
Bitcoins are accepted by many stores. Microsoft and Steam had already adopted bitcoins as a payment method and even Amazon is thinking to adopt it soon. It is surely going to change soon and hope everything is good for bitcoins. Till we have websites like gyft and purse, we can shop anywhere with bitcoins.
3737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Amazon.com still resisting the use of BTC for payment? on: May 31, 2016, 06:10:56 PM
Is it a business reason? Or perhaps the complexity of bitcoin accounting creating potential issues?

What do you think?
Amazon is a huge website and reason why Amazon is not accepting Bitcoin is just because Bitcoin is not on that level yet. It is true that Bitcoin is becoming bigger and bigger but Amazon does not need Bitcoin. Amazon is already successful.
One reason why Amazon is not adopting bitcoin just yet is because it's not meeting the demand it needs to have on Amazon. The people using their platform just doesn't have any issues with fiat and does not demand bitcoin. If the people demands it, they will adopt. Or at least they probably would.
3738  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: May 31, 2016, 06:06:12 PM
I like bitcoin because i can you every satoshi i have even 1 satoshi and the good part i can invest minimal amount i can cut $1 into 2 investments and its easy to use with no tax at all. Its really convenient to us this cryptocurrency coin that we have right now. Hoping that its services will improve especially on deposit and withdraws which take sometime to process. Grin
It's like you can do a trial investment with very little money at risk. I mean, you can scale your investments down and experiment without loosing so much. That's a really good upside of bitcoins that I saw too.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: May 31, 2016, 06:00:58 PM
I have never bought drugs using bitcoin or even on real money and i will never and never use to buy it or even try to buy it.But there are people that is abusing bitcoins features when it comes to transactions.People use to buy drugs using bitcoins because of untracdcable and anonymous transactions and they are not being monitored by police and by the government.
It is possible to buy some and that is the bad thing of Bitcoin that you just can buy some crazy stuff and nobody will know who that have bought so that is a kind of dangerous.
But you see also that the dark marketplaces is getting more popular for the criminals and that have to change in the future.
And this is why people are skeptical and think bad about bitcoins. This is why we simply cannot remove the stigma that bitcoin is highly used by bad people when in fact the majority of bitcoin users/holders aren't actually bad.
3740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Websites accepting bitcoins on: May 31, 2016, 05:54:23 PM
I don't know what kind of website you're actually trying to find, but here's a good site where you can find a site (siteception!) that accepts bitcoins for whatever item or service you're finding:
