3781  Economy / Reputation / Re: Would you consider wearing signature = shilling? on: December 14, 2020, 02:40:46 PM
You misunderstood the use of shilling for incorporating it to signature campaign. You are being paid by signature campaign by means of displaying there signature whenever you do post. That's what they are really paying you when you join the campaign, the content quality is just part of it so that you will attract user to read your post which means your signature will be view more often.

Shilling is blatantly promoting something that will benefit you or you are being paid to post good feedback for them. Signature campaign doesn't work like that. Campaign manager never required to promote the project you are endorsing via posting in different thread.

I hope it helps to clear this misunderstanding.
3782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub now accepting Monero on: December 13, 2020, 05:55:08 PM
I really have a big question between the settlement of USDT TRC20 and Monero. I feel that using USDT is still stable and better than XMR, since the price is not volatile and transactions always have fee of 0.

USDT - TRC20 has great block handling speed and in addition it is fee free in transactions. As for using XMR, we run the risk of having to sell off after buying or incurring high transaction fees. So why should we choose XMR and celebrate it like that? Does a privacy coin have a special function than Tether? Undecided
It's a good news for all those monero maximalist. This not actually a big news just like what you are describing but still have some good effect in crypto overall because it just mean that pornhub are expanding the application of crypto in there website which we all know they are the most famous and large income in porn industry. Soon they will add more payment option depends on the partnership or community request.

It's not about how the speed blockchain because if that is the only basis then BTC should be remove as payment option since its the slowest of them all. They are considering the volume of the user of the cryptocurrency before they add it on there payment option.
3783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Base protocol trying to rip bounty hunters on: December 13, 2020, 04:54:52 PM
Is this the bounty campaign you are pertaining in the OP(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284450.0)?

The bounty manager is from the team itself so there is no chance that the DT in the forum to make appeal on there campaign for there lapses on handling bounty campaign. This is the risk that the bounty participants taking everytime they participate on campaign that managed by user outside the forum.
3784  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adkinsbet scammed me 66.3mbt on: December 13, 2020, 02:57:47 PM
If experienced users or DT users have a different opinion than our current decisions, then we are certainly open to this and will also pay the user in question (under certain conditions).
I think everyone would agree that the moment you inflict serious image damage on a site, there are consequences.
Spyros is welcome to engage a mediator, and if we prove wrong, we will be happy to pay this 66.3 mBTC

I'm not a DT and not a paid dog but you have the right to suspend or freeze any account that you found any suspicious activity such as winning consecutively because you need to protect your business. Casino is not a charity that will giveaway money to all user playing on it, of course your is to have profit to sustain your business operating cost.

It's usual to receive some accusation here because there's always an isolated case for this kind of issue. Most important things to consider is to become transparent on answering all questions here and nevet get tired replying on question. I suggest that you should use the bitcointalk notifier bot in telegram so that you will receive notification once someone mention you in there post. It will be easier for you reply on all question here in the forum.

3787  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: December 13, 2020, 12:34:06 PM
If USDT will collapse, BTC and the general cryptomarket will follow. USDT already have the majority of the volume of all the stablecoin available right now and collapsing means most of the crypto user that holds USDT will be in a huge loss which means the buy power in cryptomarket will decrease dramatically.

We know that tether is a really shady company but they are not dumb to runaway with a billion dollar market that they are currently monopolizing. There profit here is consistent and huge.
3788  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: December 12, 2020, 02:35:56 PM
I check the social media that comes into my mind, Youtube and found just two videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2q-UoKKXqI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9Eh-1ZAEjQ

Although I saw some banner in coinmarketcap, Bitamp and the team really need to ramp up their marketing if they wanted to get more exposure and be on top. Although the project is still less than a year old, but maybe we need to more exposure in other social media sites as well.

Marketing costs money, as I'm sure you know. It's not that the project is averse to spending money, but startups need to be wiser about marketing and not just spend limited resources.

We'd rather organic users like you guys hopefully use our wallets more and more, and talk about it more and more, and like it more and more so you start recommending it to people.

Thanks for your feedback though guys!
Yes, I understand where you coming from, you are working on a limited budget so it make sense. Perhaps I was looking for an aggressive strategy.

I like the idea of being organic and really crypto users find the wallet useful to their liking and fits their need.

They need to level up there wallet in to a mobile version before they need to start an aggressive marketing. If they want that to happened, I think they need to add the mobile version of there wallet to target the majority of the crypto user especially on crypto wallet market. A wallet means you can easy access just like 1 tap on the app then you can transfer easily funds.

Web wallet and windows wallet is not that famous because there's a lot of danger on accessing it. User are prone on different malware that can exploit there wallet. A banner in coinmarketcap.com is not that reliable on getting a real user, Most the people using coinmarketcap is not clicking ads and also, many scam project already put ads there so I believe CMC doesn't care what project being advertised there.
3789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins have no dividend or potential future dividend on: December 12, 2020, 02:50:49 AM
Bitcoins have no dividend or potential future dividend, therefore not like a stock.

More like a collectible or commodity.

is it true? how to be commodity?
It's true because Bitcoin is a crypto CURRENCY. People always making things to define BTC, There is no way that BTC will be a stock since there's no company owning it and its a currency.

Commodity means something valuable or people give it a value based on its usefulness. Just like gold, silver and other precious metal. Besides supply and demand, People speculation on its price is what the value of BTC made off.
3790  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Would like to sell a Casascius Bitcoin. Looking for advice. on: December 11, 2020, 01:47:15 PM
All comment above was reliable. Always check the trust rating of the user that you will going to deal. If you didn't know the current market value, try to Auction it with a face value starting price. Never accept an offer through unless the offer is from a trusted bitcointalk user.

Always use escrow. Escrow is a must in this forum especially when you are dealing a huge amount of money. You can check the list of trusted escrow here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0

Good luck!
3791  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice = Prison for your money on: December 10, 2020, 12:48:38 PM
Primedice used to be one of my top gambling platforms to play into because they have higher winning odds, just betting high amount and you can make huge return in their roll game.
But now, they slowly unreliable with more complaints here in the community.
That's why never deposit huge cash in gambling platforms.

LOL, They are offering a dice game which is same winning odds to other casino. It varies only in the house edge percentage. So its impossible that the chance on winning on PD is greater than other casino if you set the roll odds exactly the same. I need to know your holy smoke dude. Jk Cheesy

PD and the rest of the casino apply same rule once there ToS was violated because they need to submit it for AML compliance. If the guy accused was indeed a money launderer, They will be the one liable for letting the crime happened on there casino.
3792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sites offer FREE Plays, FREE Spins, Free Bets - Lets make a list on: December 10, 2020, 07:41:00 AM
Fortunejack, Betcasino and Cloudbet offers all the freebies that you mention above. But Fortunejack is the only casino that frequently gives me freebies on my account. These 3 is the only casino I know that gives a freebies every month. I'm playing whenever I received notification email from them that's why I'm always updated.
3793  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice = Prison for your money on: December 10, 2020, 02:16:32 AM
Well, it was just still 8 hours or so others may even take a day/s or week/s so you better wait. The question arises on them I guess when you just want to deposit then withdraw in an instant too and maybe you are into this issue (quoted below from their site's TOS). That reason that you just halted your intention to play isn't valid, if you just want to mix your coins then you should have used mixers instead as a service and not an online gambling platform that are duly licensed.

Quote
AML & SANCTIONS COMPLIANCE. Primedice expressly prohibits and rejects the use of the Service for any form of illicit activity, including money laundering, terrorist financing or trade sanctions violations, consistent with various jurisdictions’ laws, regulations and norms. To that end, the Service is not offered to individuals or entities subject to United States, European Union, or other global sanctions or watch lists. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are not so subject.

I do that sometimes on my account. I just deposit and do withdrawal right after my after got confirmed. Sometimes I loss my desire to gamble due to the duration of transaction confirmation. But I don't encounter this kind of problem. They can actually check the transaction history of the account if the user is just mixing there coins.

They should just set a wagering requirements to there withdrawal if they don't want this kind of thing just like FJ do.
3794  Economy / Services / Re: I need the Bounty manager. on: December 09, 2020, 03:34:35 PM
Anonymous devs, not available whitepaper and green paper on the website and a website that has a very few detail about there project. Sure this is not really suspicious?  Roll Eyes

I wonder if Hhampuz, Yahoo or any trusted bounty manger will accept this offer unless your website is still under development then that is understandable. Oooops,  Shocked
3795  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: December 09, 2020, 01:07:39 PM
New user of bitamp wallet here and have a quick question aside from web wallet is there any app available? I search it on google playstore but I can't find it. Also I find the exchange is in development hopefully xrp and USDT will be added since this is more adopted by the traders.

Anyways I love the site so far  since look good to my eyes.

AFAIK, there still no mobile apps of this wallet available on playstore or in there official website. I'm waiting too on there mobile a so that I can finally replace my electrum wallet with there official mobile app. I really like the simplicity and easy to use of there Web wallet, I hope that they can do it the same on there mobile apps soon.

Can't wait. I hope that Bitamp support will read and answer our request. Cheesy
3796  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I post about my new trading calculator website? on: December 07, 2020, 05:30:11 PM
Just  create an Announcement thread for your trading calculator website since you're offering service then put it on the suggested section above. Just indicate your service overview and never put referral link in there.

It will be against the rule if you post the link of your website in different thread just to promote it since it will fall under spamming.
3797  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cause of the recent price spike on: December 07, 2020, 03:19:52 PM
Hello everyone, Bitcoin jumped to 19k recently and I am just wondering what is the cause of this spike. Does Covid-19 have anything to do with it or trading bots?

Thanks, Matt

PayPal is the main reason, some big company that announcing to buy huge amount of bitcoin and Biden win means more crypto friendly US. There is no way that Covid-19 will do the recent spike because until now, There's no vaccine created to get immune in this virus.

An organised good news for crypto drives the price up and maybe some more pump once BTC breaks the 20K USD price barrier.
3798  Economy / Reputation / Re: at a disadvantage CHEATER BTT username: Curanrek on: December 07, 2020, 03:07:12 PM
CHEATER that use many other people's Twitter accounts, including myself, to duplicate and steal reports on every bounty I work on.

BTT username: Curanrek
Profile Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2505428
Reference: https://archive.fo/brgl5
Reference: https://twitter.com/andropmax/status/1331587577082638336

Maybe you should post the proof that you own airdrop max twitter account to make this accusation simpler to judge. I check the accused post history and he is constantly using the airdrop max twitter account for submitting in the bounty report which gives the impression that he is the real owner.

It's hard to dig further on post history with full of bounty of report alone. Maybe your oldest bounty report is sufficient to verify that you are real owner of the twitter account. You can add to the link of the report he post using other twitter account too.
3799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to receive Airdrop Spark on Binance on: December 07, 2020, 03:14:21 AM
Be aware that:

1. Binance will stop any withdrawals and deposits of XRPs from 12/11/20 10 p.m. UTC until the snapshot happened.

And:

2. Binance tells, that they distribute the Sparks, after the airdrop is completed.

https://www.binance.com/de/support/announcement/78c11feba44d443998cf7a5329539e91

This is imprecisely formulated. And maybe it is deliberately formulated in such an inaccurate way. The Airdrop takes place in several payouts. The first payout will be after the start of the flare network and comprises 15%. After that, a random proportion is added every month. This will continue until you got 100% of the Sparks you are entitled to. This can take 24 to 35 months. (!)

If you read the description of binance thoroughly, they say:

"Binance will distribute SPARK tokens after the project has completed the SPARK token distribution to XRP holders."

So when will you get your Sparks on Binance?

2023?
2024?

This it what they exactly say at the moment. If you know the way how the airdrop will happen.
Wink

Regards!
McW

This exactly what I'm confused about this airdrop shit. Although this just an Airdrop incase you have XRP on your binance. But if a trader plans to deposit XRP there just to get airdrop of Spark token, That will be a bad idea since the token will just trap there without any exchange available.

I hope that binance will list spark as soon as airdrop occur so that XRP holder will get a profit on the Spark token.
3800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to receive Airdrop Spark on Binance on: December 06, 2020, 12:42:38 PM
Binance supporting Spark airdrop maybe the reason for the temporary pump of XRP since they have the largest trading volume for XRP. The only question is whether they will list the Spark token in there exchange or they will just allow the XRP holder to get and withdraw it just like what they did on most of there airdrop.

XRP might experience a bloody week on this upcoming week since many early traders that accumulate on low price will surely take profit before the airdrop.
