381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using TV( GOTV, DSTV) monthly subscription money to invest in bitcoin on: November 06, 2023, 06:16:59 AM
Your 4150 in Naira I presume will amount to around 4 dollars when converted to USDT and saving as little as that in a year can give you up to 50 dollars worth of investment.
The question is, purchase in what way? That won't happen with p2p purchases because network fees will cut bitcoin even more. Or just hope there's an exchange out there that will accept $4 deposits (plus OP has to do KYC).
382  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will it affect you in any way if Binance completely shuts down ? on: November 05, 2023, 08:42:37 AM
and the price of Bitcoin will likely decline sharply,
Except for the intervention of authorities, Binance doesnt become another FTX drama and immediately releases all user-owned bitcoins in all cold-hot wallets without any complicated process  nonsense requirements. Bitcoin is always the decider.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: November 05, 2023, 07:06:07 AM
Possible downsides of AI are:
  • they work without responsibility.
  • they can't do multi-tasking suddenly.
  • Their mistake was purely an accident that cannot be prosecuted by law.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A milestone of introducing and initiating a friend to Bitcoin investments on: November 05, 2023, 06:44:46 AM
I'm compelled to share this with you, @OP:
Your friend is interested in investing? Introduce them to p2p trading and non-custodial wallets. Your friends are interested in trading: Introduce them to CEX platforms.
I honestly never knew about "Exness", and it's worrying how you recommend such a foreign-sounding platform. Idk if you have also taught your friends Bitcoin on the side of volatility and security risks.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your take on CEX platforms integrating DEX capabilities like swapping? on: November 05, 2023, 06:30:35 AM
if you're using Binance with it's new feature "convert", you really don't have to pay for the fee.
Which feature are you referring to? I honestly just heard this about binance, would you mind giving me the page (without logging in if possible).
All I know is conversion feature of the dust balance to BNB, and even that requires a fee.

You can monitor your login IP for the last 30 days on this page https://bitcointalk.org/myips.php
Also use 3rd party resources to monitor security logs (password changes and activity status): https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3581291

387  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to start a Gambling operation and you can join ! on: November 04, 2023, 09:07:10 AM
About affiliation,
Which plan would you recommend?
What kind of income can I expect?
How is it measured?
Because I have rents and salaries to pay so I must use my workers skills for a profitable job.
You don't have to think it will be complicated because in this case you don't need to create a gambling company according to your plan, you just have to carry it out. After all, don't you have a childhood friend who has marketing experience? Ask them how to do it.

Wishbyour life will be better.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FAIT or CRYPTO? on: November 04, 2023, 03:20:42 AM
@OP, do you have a personal definition of fiat that you would mention as a viable investment option? I don't think any investor considers fiat an investment instrument. Without applying margin/leverage, traders won't achieve significant results in forex.
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any companys offering insurance policys for crypto exchanges ? on: November 04, 2023, 03:04:25 AM
Read "about us" on any exchange. When an operational license is awarded, a centralized exchange is automatically subject to regulation and becomes part of the supervision of the authority where the license was issued. As far as I know, there is no special protection offer for certain customers, you must have legal representation and get your own insurance to cover the risk of loss.
390  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is This sites Legit?? on: November 04, 2023, 02:47:55 AM
Ok so lets start reviewing it, first of all the official website which I found from OP link is
That's not it, it just belongs to the same guy. Pay attention to the whois server: webnic.cc
I think there is nothing official out there. I also found their duplicate site with a registration date older by a few days and even had it first indexed by Google in 2014:

391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is there a posibility someone could brueforce your wallet seed phrase ? on: November 04, 2023, 01:39:35 AM
No need for a super computer. If someone is targeting your seed phrase, that means there is some portion of the leaked phrases that can be easily bruteforced using current device capabilities. Hackers also don't want to do things that seem like they'll end in vain.
392  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Petition to investigate Freewallet org scam on: November 03, 2023, 08:44:27 AM
I fully support your efforts, but I think it's best not to create a separate thread to spread new calls to the community. This is still in the context of fighting freewallets, right? Just change the title of this thread to be more general and write all your strategies in this thread, for example:
Code:
[Freewallet SCAM] Let's fight them: Petition, report, delist...

Maintaining only 1 thread will help google search index well.
Good luck!

Grin
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Are You Sticking to Your Plan or Has Life Made You Pause or Modify It? on: November 03, 2023, 07:38:40 AM
This doesn't mean we are inconsistent and committed to the original plan, no. but rather we are more realistic in making decisions as wisely as possible so that no matter what, the results will be in accordance with our plans. And it could be that we need several backup plans if plan A really doesn't work.
It's a goal-oriented plan. Inhibiting factors can come unexpectedly, so having a plan must be arranged as flexibly as possible which is able to accept the necessary changes to achieve the same results.
395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost my coins on: November 03, 2023, 06:49:37 AM
I believe there was a purpose I went on "swap."
Do you mean did a swap on the coinbase wallet? To withdraw bitcoin, you don't actually need this process unless you want to exchange wBTC(wrapped token) for real BTC first.
If the txid shows bitcoins sent correctly to your address, I think it's a failure of your wallet app to update the latest balance.
396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to find advice and info about selling BTC on: November 03, 2023, 05:15:44 AM
Assuming this is serious, you just need to look for an OTC trading broker. You know if it's a large amount, then you need to look for some. European and middle eastern states like the UAE and there seem to be a few markets that have ample liquidity to handle most of them.
Or in another way, just open your own CEX that only serves sales to users all over the world.
397  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: Sulitnya Mengedukasi Masyarakat Untuk Menolak Amplop Para Calon! on: November 02, 2023, 04:37:41 PM
Itu berarti voters di indo realistis gan. Lol
398  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone been using Pyypl? It seems a potential virtual card can use crypto as wel on: November 02, 2023, 01:22:58 PM
Does anyone which country is supported or not supported by Pyypl? I tried checking their privacy policy and use search engine with keyword
They don't directly mention the restricted countries, they only adjust to the main partner company they operate in, namely Mastercard[1]. That means the list of currencies it accepts too.
What you need to know is that they're regulated by ADGM which seems to always update the list of High Risk Jurisdictions[2].

399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will it affect your life if Bitcoin price comes to zero per Bitcoin one day? on: November 02, 2023, 12:40:26 PM
As long as mining and full node activity continues, I'm not sure the price will go to zero in any corner of the earth. I mean, price trackers might fail to get the latest prices because centralized exchanges are starting to get censored everywhere, that doesn't mean people will stop using bitcoin. This may be very impactful if you previously relied on those services, but not if you transact bitcoin the "right" way. After all, the bitcoin community isn't just speculators.
