381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach an astronomical all-time new high. on: May 11, 2020, 12:57:38 PM
I hope the trend would be followed but I don't expect a big pump if in case bitcoin will rise.
We've seen the pump, but it was short and I think bitcoin is heading for a correction now, and it might happen prior and post halving.

Yeah maybe the correction is on. Price at 8,970 at close hour. Who knows the next price to head after today. This prior halving is going to be highly volatile, price has not be stable which is expected. It has been dropping from reaching 10,000 dollars 4 days ago.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Major dump started like 5 minutes ago on: May 11, 2020, 10:18:20 AM
Bitcoin is down and altcoin is hit by REKT, it's really sad, I already bought altcoin when Bitcoin went up but unfortunately altcoin doesn't have a good reaction, and finally Altcoin is all down, will there be any more hope?

There is hope. It is normal to buy altcoins when bitcoin rises and to me you have not taken a bad marketing decision because we know this that bitcoin price influence altcoin price too but the difference to your decision of buying is you didn't research on why bitcoin is going up because if it has no cause of going up, there are big chances it could drop maybe it is just a pump from panic from orders placed in exchanges. But now that halving is here, buying can be profitable. Wish you good luck on whatever decision you take.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: May 10, 2020, 08:02:40 PM
if you have lost so much, there is no other option but to gamble, or it will take you a long time to get it back.

This isn't a better way to trade. In trading, we have to take a loss to be what it is, trying to fight back by maybe gambling will hurt more. The best way to treat a loss is to let it go because another trade  time of trade can be better. A newbie and inexperienced trader tries to fight market that can swallow as much big as the account is, so there isn't any profit that will come from gambling in trade.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Akoin by Akon – Your views? on: May 10, 2020, 07:46:07 PM
I'm thinking that a thread of such coin by Akon was brought up here in this forum in the past because this isn't my first time to here about it. I thought is a forgotten project but now that op has brought it up I will check for how it has been with the project.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: May 10, 2020, 06:37:00 PM
The volatility is coming down as you saw in 2017 too. Bitcoin today has been highly indecisive which is as the result of halving influencing price. The determination of price now to me is not in the hands of whales but the investors are trying to make a move of leaving or buying more. This is the fud and fomo interaction. We see in few days how it will move after halving.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebooting the World after the COVID-19 Shutdown on: May 09, 2020, 04:57:19 PM
It is boring to read because of the volume in there, so much. I do know that it will take the world a lot of time to restart as the economy has gone down. Some speculation is going on about a new way or world order both technological, economical and politics/leadership.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 Days countdown for halving. Come and leave your idea. on: May 09, 2020, 04:20:42 PM
I'm seeing some shake off already with price. The volatility as expected won't go away. The price got to $10,000 today and returned back , taking off $400, reminding us of the last halving period. I still expect a rapid movement up after we see this halving.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Broker on: May 08, 2020, 02:57:37 PM
Hello Everyone

Please suggest me a good forex broker. How much money do I need to start trading.

Well since you are here , I think you can have one option as Alpari. It has local unit maybe to different countries for easy access. They have been in the business for a long time and registered ut make your research anyway.
389  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can you trust a cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 08, 2020, 02:41:30 PM
Trusting an exchange depends , is not all exchange that can be depended upon but generally for me, I'm always doubtful about genuity of some of the exchange since they are not really regulated like the forex platforms. So I do prefer to keep my coin in my own wallet and hodl if I buy from exchange.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason behind the Bitcoin price could reach $50,000 in 2020 on: May 07, 2020, 03:01:13 PM

Another thing, if someone is promoting a different project while predicting Bitcoin's price this way, his project will most likely fail.

Most likely too that the project can fail because people would see it as bidding under to project something not real. Why don't the Op come up clean rather than projecting the price of bitcoin as if their were no speculation board or we all don't understand bitcoin will moon after halving.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wonder how much is the $1200 stimulus package worth now if invested on BTC? on: May 06, 2020, 07:13:06 PM
Lol! Let's just hope these people don't get tax notice for investing the support money to bitcoin! The stimulus package was intended to support the livelihood of US citizens and to increase market demand. Investing in bitcoin is going to solve the purpose. Let's just hope US Government does not retaliate on that!

But if the people are ok and have food, don't they have the right to use their money for the kind of investment they want to ? I think they do.  Grin
If the US government doesn't allow for bitcoin use or investment, then it can go after citizens who have invested in it but it is a right to if it is not outlawed.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has not learned anything in past 3 years on: May 05, 2020, 10:34:58 PM

Im sorry im of no help because im new here. Can someone help me Sad

Then you stay off it. You can go to beginners sections to learn and grow.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: May 05, 2020, 03:38:51 PM
If you can pickup a real bounty program from a real and promising project, Bounty will be better for you to earn some extra.
Well, it is true. It is only if you can become part of a promising project that will really pay you as a bounty hunter because most of the bounties right now are a scam. It is the same as airdrop, there is no much-paying airdrop unlike before, they are all just a waste of time.

I think that the era of good project is no more as we see many bounty hunters are scammed for their labour and this is bad feeling that soon bounty hunters will give up on the projects. I have read many hunters in telegram groups being discouraged.
Bounty should be the higher earn but either way, scam is too much.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of the global economy or just another commodity like Gold? on: May 05, 2020, 01:57:26 PM
This kind of question looks like it always show up. Replacing central bank isn't an easy goal. Central bank is an institution that has different role to play in a country and one of them is printing of the country's money. Some other role is regulating the commercial banks and the country's financial system. So if bitcoin replaces printing of money, what about other duties of central bank Huh
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was mentioned in the TV Show Billions on: May 05, 2020, 01:39:36 PM
Apart from the TV, I have been hearing about bitcoin from even teenagers this year. The population of bitcoin user is increasing. I was surprised such teenagers also called the etheruem coin too.

In addition to that, here[1] our some of other Bitcoin scene in television shows.

First one was aired on January 2012 when bitcoin worth $33. Damnnnn!

[1] https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_references_in_TV_Shows
Woww, never knew bitcoin had some exposure on national televisions those days. And I am guessing you did not trust the system enough to buy enough to hold. I heard about cryptocurrencies in 2014 but did not give it much attention till 2018. Sad I guess I missed the glory days already Embarrassed

Nobody missed the glory days because it was in the presence of those who knew about it then but they didn't have the drive to invest then. As we are now, some other coins that is not bitcoin would leave their growing and cheap stage in the next five your. Then , they could run into hundreds while still under a dollar now. Is about the mind to believe in cryptocurrency.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin halving's 3 possible scenarios. on: May 05, 2020, 10:58:38 AM
We surely know that it will lead to an increase in the long run but to the scenario of how much it can go down before the rise, is not predictable for me. Therefore it is better for me to hodl until I get to my selling point at $15,000. At that point, I think the initial pump can have a drop.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. economy contracted sharply in the first quarter of 2020 on: May 05, 2020, 09:44:24 AM

But I dont understand why so much. USA went in lockdown only at end of March.  Europe started around 10th March. USA was at least 10 days latter. How can GDP drop almost 5% when Jan and Feb were positive?  How can be the 2020 predictions for USA around 5%?  Q2 GDP drop will be catastrophic!!!

The contraction for me is expected. If we are comparing the European economy to that of US, I don't expect it to be the same. At least I believe America has given more stimulus to there citizens. Also despite there hard hit by the covid-19 so far, they have also been making huge donations to affected countries too. There economy will get back soon on track as the lockdown is easing out.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 Things have to do to become a Good Crypto Trader on: May 05, 2020, 09:02:18 AM

1 ) Never Go With Full Amount in Single trade !

2 ) Accept Losses !

4 ) Don't Try to get Rich Quick !!

5 ) Apply Stoploss & Trail it whenever coin goes up !

These are important for a trader. I see two points all together here as number one and four are saying the same thing. Also number two and five are same two.

Before a trader becomes successful, he or she needs to understand the above points stop loss helps to get you back to trade when you lose the first call order. And if you don't try to get rich faster, then you won't go in with your full amount in a single trade.
399  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halvings impact on Bitcoins price on: May 03, 2020, 08:29:38 PM
Nobody knows if this halving will get the price to increase because increase in marketcap will 90% determine the price not halving itself. And, it is likely that the price of bitcoin will increase but I do not think it can be more than $15000 because the marketcap required this time to achieve all time high is greater than before because more bitcoin have been generated since two years ago.

You can be right that it will be positive impact because halving has not have any negative impact but the price expectation of $15,000 is low. Remember that in 2017, it has hit $20,000 and above, so this time should go beyond that as mining is expected to be limited.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: How can the corona virus end Faster and economy reopen on: May 03, 2020, 03:20:50 PM
There is no doubt that the coronavirus is spreading exponentially and the way it can be stopped is when there is a vaccine that can cure or immune against it. It has really affected the economy of the world at large and one hope that this should come to an end as soon as possible.

What will adequately take care of this virus is its antidote which is the vaccine but the vaccine as I hear is still out of reach even as scientists have gone under research. The world economy is suffering and some citizens are beginning to go out in protest against staying at home. I also hope that solution is found soon and normal life can come back again.
