381  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING]: Fake Paypal Giveaway on: November 24, 2020, 04:04:32 PM
Greedy humans will be attracted and when cut-up in the scammers web they will blame it upon Bitcoin as a ponzi scheme, there are obvious evidence that these giveaways are fraudulent in nature and shouldn't be taking serious, but human wants are. Basically if these websites are been reported then there will be a crack down on their end by the appropriate authorities.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin now? Take profit or greed? on: November 22, 2020, 03:05:29 PM
The current Bitcoin price is actually quite high. If you really want to sell, I think you can get a big profit. However, if you really want to hold until the end of this year, that is fine, because it is likely that the price will still go up again.
Your right, we'll waited from around 2018 till 2020 for a good way to take profit from our various investment but here it come; but there are series of confusion among members, on when to take their profit. As for me, am good for a profit at this time when Bitcoin almost hit the $18.9k+ becasue some of my holdings were back in 2019 when Bitcoin was low in it price, compare to now which is impressive. There are people who don't want to take profit now but wait for Bitcoin to hit $20k+ before they do, this can be risky becasue the price of Bitcoin can rollback again.
Greed isn't wrong at all as long as we calculate the risk, $18,9k is safe for sure but it's too early in my perspective, if bitcoin predicted to fall after hit $20k, why not sell at $19,8k+? Bitcoin may encounter resistance level at $19,5k-$19,8k but if it manages to surpass $20k by the end of this month or in early next month, bitcoin should be able to reach up to $30k by the end of the year, so for me it is an obvious choice, keep holding until the end of December.
You're not saying this from a short-term holder perspective, greed isn't good on every sense becasue Bitcoin price is unpredictable and shouldn't be follow base on what expert said, they're not good too in Bitcoin predictions history are there for us to see. In 2017 they said these same words that made some holders almost commit suicides becasue they where greedy to have follow predictions from so called experts.

Personally, i don't want to see another 2017 again becasue it was horrible indeed; just for the purpose of greediness. How are you sure about Bitcoin price making it to $19k or $20k soon?, some will say, when the correction happen then the price will shoot, but what are the TA for this to actually happen?, all i can see among people who don't experienced the 2017 drama is; they're speculators and the bad side of Bitcoin might fall on them due to their greedy human nature.

There were speculations about Bitcoin correction from $18.9k to $16k, but few moment ago we saw some corrections but never meet their speculations because Bitcoin is unique in nature. I sold at $18.7k and just bought back something pretty good at $17.6k few minutes ago. Greediness is in my past and not present.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notorious Coinbase holding my bitcoins in name of 'Review' | Be careful on: November 22, 2020, 02:40:27 PM
Why not store your btc in a wallet that's not an exchange and when you need to trade or sell, you'll transfer the sum you want to sell into the exchange website. That is safer.
Basically, Coinbase cryptocurrency exchnage is safe honestly, am a Coinbase user for sometime now and have been very much happy with their services' What OP tried to explained should be a user who actually violate Coinbase exchnage ToS, If this is not the case then he should contact the support team which could lead to his account recovery, to be realistic, for Coinbase to get hold onto an account with funds come with outright violation of their Terms Of Services.

385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 22, 2020, 02:11:56 PM
In so many times when talk about profit taking between Bitcoin and USDT, i usually prefer to take profit with USDT becasue of it stableness as a coin when compare to Bitcoin. We'll understand the crypto market volatility and for anyone stay on a safer side they ought to choose stablecoins over unstable ones. If you choose Bitcoin to take profit on, what about it volatility?  it could be a loss or a win but in taking profit in USDT nothing of such will ever happen.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Catalyst for starting next Bitcoin Bear market? on: November 21, 2020, 01:07:31 PM
The same catalyst that started the big bitcoin rally, companies who dibs on bitcoin, and then getting out and taking profits when we reach another all time high in the future. And just like the bubble in 2017, it will be gradual but the effect of this institutional money bailing out will be long and hard bearish market.
That's true, the same catalyst that brought us so far should be seen as same; which can bring us down to bear again. Few days ago, i had some private conversations with someone very close and what we saw was exactly what you have as opinion. The bears will come into play again when these institutional bodies choose to take back their profits from the current market, this will definitely bring bears IMO too. More reasons why we should be more smarter this time than 2017; when they flip-down the entire cryptocurrency market withing few days and kept us hanged with the bears for so long.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is moving sideways for day, Where to from here? on: November 21, 2020, 12:51:25 PM
No body can actually answer your question becasue the behaviorism of Bitcoin price from time immemorial is always sideways, most especially when there's bull run which always attract corrections in Bitcoin price, mostly on daily basis or even on weekly basis. At the moment, Bitcoin price is just experiencing some usual characters in my honest opinion and nothing to fear in it sideways zigzagging movement.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 21, 2020, 12:27:41 PM
It is what it is but we cannot remove the fact that there are lucky gamblers. They gamble as if they want to win and luckily winning the jackpots.
In that case, they have recovered and won money too.
If they win it then lucky, they are else those who have lost in recovery will think back later why did they gambled again. Its worse for those who had borrowed money in a thought will win and lost it again will now may not have money to pay back too. So its luck which may help you to win or lose in the end for some games.
Those gamblers who borrows money are desperate but it's not a good move. Lose your money but don't lose others money even if you have borrowed it.
Several times I've read gamblers who have done that and lost a lot instead of recovery.
Truth be told, for anyone to borrow funds to gamble should be check thoroughly because most causes of this type is addiction.  We'll know that gambling is all about be luck to some extent, and for a gambler to choose the way of borrow funds to gamble show his or her irresponsibility in life. When a gambler borrow funds to gamble, if he or she loss these funds there is a strong tendency that recovery of loss funds will be activated immediately, which will actually give ways for more loss in the process, so, borrow funds is outside the ethics of a gambler.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 21, 2020, 12:09:56 PM
So, what do you guys do with the gambling money you get when you win the bet.
I'm a terrible gambler and an even worse loser. Every small win so far I've gambled again and then I've been depressed for a couple of weeks. I mean, I'd better get away from gambling altogether, but that's easier said than done. Smiley
Then you gat to consult a psychiatrist for better ways to ease out from gambling becasue this calling isn't for your types, as i assume. Anybody or a gambler who can't have some level of self control while gambling shouldn't be a part of this industry , this will worsen your health status if not dealt with now. Depression or be depressed when at loss in gambling shouldn't be what we joke with, or something we should allow to reign in us, because it's dangerous to humans, is a potential express to committing suicide. Please stop and exit gambling, bikonu.
390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reputable exchanges for a newbie to start with on: November 20, 2020, 02:45:39 PM
Possibly, i will second those whom have recommended Binance cryptocurrency exchange for noobs becasue of their simplicity(in terms of exchnage navigation and good features in the platform) in their platform. When i was new to cryptocurrency industry, my first take after migration from Forex trading was to get into Binance exchnage which helped my growth along the line, so, i will still recommend this to newbies around the cryptocurrency market anytime any-day.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker network now gives '95% of payouts’ in Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 02:02:01 PM
<snip>
I think bitcoin is becoming dominant payment method in gambling, what do you think about this?
.............
Yeah, it was and still is. Bitcoin has made some good move which has helped from the shortcomings inherited from the traditional way of gambling, with this technology we no longer think of the middlemen which was much needed in the past. This should be one of the best change made by Bitcoin that made it a "dominant payment method" among gamblers. Currently, almost all the online gambling casinos have made Bitcoin as one of their payment method, though, the transaction fee sometime is something else IMO.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 20, 2020, 01:18:38 PM
If this stop loss time is somewhat included into any gambling casinos be rest assure that they won't make any profit from these gamblers. I won't ever get such integration into my gambling platform if am fortunate to have one. With some little research, i did find something of such; betfair is that platform with such feature and i think this definitely should be one negative stuff which is likely affecting them as per profit generation among other cryptocurrency in this industry.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: November 19, 2020, 05:19:39 PM
It is a must to make some innovative plans,
innovative plans must be from gambler itself and not from anyone else.
Imagine having this request of yours meaning that being a Addict gambler must have some insurance?you are doping stupid thing and you want others to provide for you?
if this will happen then  expect another Tons of new addict will rise because now they can generate some amount while spending their money in gambling.
op said they can gain small amount if the loss is huge not big amount when they loose a big amount . <snip>
The reply above you has the point as you do, if this happen there will be another crops of gambling addicts from the ones the industry has created in time memorial. Candidly speaking, this won't work as nobody will take such risk to stand the returns of some fractions from gambler loss, though, if this happens, then the world won't be at peace with the addicts becasue they know they will surely get back some fractions from their loss and not just go blank after their loss as of before.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 04:38:00 PM
~~~~~ I don't hate this country but it's majority of its people are something else, not all nigeriana are bad though but .......here is a news I came across yesterday,
<snip>
Hope you're also aware there are good ones among us, there are millions of us with good heart, we can't kill a fly, but equally are those with the bad hearted individual who are gluemed to scam indeed. Not justifying the action of the pinkin coin which was run by the said man on the photograph, he thoughts that the crypto industry is a child-play, he actually made some bad decisions about the project. There shouldn't be any investment that should promise it investors some bogus returns like in this case. The CEO ask those investors to invest #1,000 to make a return of #3,000 which is unrealistic in my honest view. The returns aren't good and this made him a victim on this scheme executed by himself. I hope his were about be find by the Nigeria Police and he be made to return investors funds and face the law squarely.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another scam bounty campain Yearn.Global on: November 18, 2020, 04:21:50 PM
That's why i don't like to join bounty campaign run by newbie managers. They just go after money and don't bother to verify some information by himself about the project.......
Not all newbies that showed up here as bounty managers are really newbie in this virtual world, there have been several bounties conducted on this forum through newbie account that actually went successful. No time to mention, but you can equally confirm this from the Bounty section of the forum. During my days in the bounty section, before my participation in the bounty, i do ensure to make some good research about the project before promotion. Though, this doesn't make those scammers not to scam, if they have the intention of doing that.
Those without the ability to scrutinize some doubtful projects on this forum are those that are likely to always promote scam projects which will always end without pay or pay without usefulness.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 18, 2020, 04:11:29 PM
They will definitely make this a reality someday because, the powers of the Blockchain technology has attracted thousands of good happenings to financial world. But the question about the central Banks creating their own digital currency should be, will they ever create a decentralized digital currency?, confidently, NO they won't. They will still create a centralized shithole for the citizens, although there will be more option for those citizens to make their choice from.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 18, 2020, 04:03:01 PM
There are many good and promising coins on your list, but I prefer komodo and litecoin.  The main thing is not to miss the growth and not to forget to fix the profit.
That will also my take from the list too, sometimes this year i had to make some purchase of these coins which actually helped me secured some good profit for my liken, though not as much but really appreciated their help. On the side of the Litecoin, the abandonment of the project seem not good to me but all the same, its good for profit in time to come.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 15, 2020, 05:07:10 PM
91 people voted in this thread that gambling is just for entertainment, it's really hard to find it entertaining, when you're using real money and you lose, you're definitely going to get frustrated, the only way it could be entertaining is when you're using something like a demo account.
I don't understand why they always keep on saying that. Wherein their main goal before they even start gambling, deep inside them what they want is to win or to make money. It is just gamblers might be convincing themselves that they gamble only for entertainment once they lose in their gambling.
Cheesy, be calming it down mate, there are thousands gamblers on this industry that actually went into this gambling with their sole aim of making fun or for just entertainments purpose indeed. Don't be worried towards where they place their personal vote on the thread, gambling is like an investment in your speech, but as investment be guided with your movement per-time, so, there is nothing new or wrong for any gambler to think towards winnings while gambling, it's our natural nature.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1x2 vs the correct score bets on: November 15, 2020, 03:40:42 PM
The correct scores are best for those with the spiritual eyes  Grin, don't get into this type without the eyes of the dog(native men will only understand). Personally, i love it when it's double, win or loss, first half win or loss, red-cards or corner kicks among others. This enable me make some good skills in risk management, and this has helped me in the past. Although, there are friends with this type of betting (correct scores) but mostly thy often fall into the prey of the enemies of losses at the end.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 15, 2020, 03:20:09 PM
Classy environment and women around, it's a perfect place to impress a woman with the huge bets you can do.
<snip>
You just got my attention from the above line, the reasons why many lost in my presence are the listed in OP. In one of my favorite gambling casino here in Abuja FCT name withheld, women and freebies are always surplus and this has wrecked thousands of gamblers around the AMAC areas of Abuja FCT. Freebies are good but when including the women in a fancy gambling casino environment always bring disasters, i have witnessed this several times in my gambling history, and i won't gamble when there are such again. Impressing these feminist in gambling environments aren't a good stuff, anyone(gambler) can do the un-do per time. Don't remind me of my past  Sad
