382  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 15, 2023, 02:40:22 PM
Keep grinding. That is what I will do. There's really no choice but to do that while we still can. Get a company job and if you can save some money then invest or create a business that would not bore you, something you really love. Food, services, whatever makes you feel happy.
It's when you will do it that matters, you must have the guys to start with a spark before you build a big fire.
Obviously, it will improve your financial stability and maybe more. That's if you can keep up with sudden economic breakdowns because we all know how many stores closed down when the pandemic came.

I do believe he have a good team behind him. Jerami Grant is there and then Anfernee Simons. It's the consistency that is missing especially from Simons which I think is a good player, but he is young and badly need more experience.
GPII has also returned so they have some defense running now when they needed to stop guards like Mitchell. It's just a matter of time before he makes chemistry with the team.
IMO, it's a good fought game against the Cavaliers, it's just that they are a strong team to deal with.
I think they need to change their system, moving the ball more is probably the best solution. The reason why Lillard's teammate is inconsistent because they are focusing so much on Lillard when it comes to offense. Simons and Grant can drop 30 points in a game, actually it's not only Simons who are inconsistent but also Grant, maybe the problem is the system.
Now we all saw how big of a change a defensive player can do for a team. Gary Payton II. 4 Steals in 5 minutes then he rests. Played more minutes and scored two 3 points. Big ones that buried the Mavericks.
But thats not what made him shine, its his defense that made the Trail Blazers look stronger than any team now. He is a pandemic in the defensive end and all his teammates are infected by it. He is definitely the son of The Glove. Cheesy I hope they give him more minutes when his health is better.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 15, 2023, 10:09:53 AM
Bitcoin as usual is the first choice if you are having a difficult time to decide, that's the best and safest decision, imo. I've been there, so confused about what to do next when suddenly the market becomes as green as this. If you came earlier when the bear happened, you might be reaping the rewards already.
Is it safe to buy now? That's the question that cannot be answered accurately. There's no safe time when it comes to cryptocurrencies, always tell yourself that it's volatile and it could go south whenever the demand is low.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How wrongful can this go? on: January 15, 2023, 06:18:32 AM
There are gambling sites that only needs e-mail for sign up and you can play for the minimum. You are limited though in both deposit and withdrawal monthly or annual basis so it will not be that much fun if ever you are a gambler who goes beyond the minimum.
It's not wrong, privacy is a good thing but if you are using services like gambling platform, exchange, banks, and other industry that has something to do about spending or receiving money, your name and address will be required.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 14, 2023, 11:06:45 AM
Fingers crossed. I want to believe that but when you are experiencing the worst of economy you will have high doubts about it.
Accumulating is a problem when you don't have money in your savings because most of it will just go to expenses for necessities and bills.
Now, if ever this gets better then maybe there's a chance we could see a swing upwards but I won't expect too much, just as I said there are doubts and I know it's not just me. I am optimistic with Bitcoin growing but I don't see the "now". It grew to $20k as of time of writing but there's this strange feeling it won't be long.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 13, 2023, 10:51:15 AM
I am so disappointed with the Portland TrailBlazers, they still seemed to be the same team who does not play good defense. They already have a good lead in the 4th quarter but in the crunch time, they allowed the Cavaliers to easily score, Garland and Mitchell destroyed them in the 4th quarter.

Yes, Lillard had a big game with 50 points, but that's useless if they can win games.

Lillard is such a good player, they just have yet to put enough talent around him for him to be able to bring a championship home.  I thought I had heard that he was going to be traded or wanted to be traded, maybe it was this past season or the offseason, but either way wasn't he disgruntled or something recently? I do like guys who have played on the same team their entire career, but his prime years are running out, he's gotta get with a team that can make something happen and fast.
I do believe he have a good team behind him. Jerami Grant is there and then Anfernee Simons. It's the consistency that is missing especially from Simons which I think is a good player, but he is young and badly need more experience.

388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 12, 2023, 10:24:37 AM
I heard stories from friends too on how they make money from gambling but it's not a recommended type of making a living. Most of them have managers backing them up and they share the money after a win. A loss though is like a loan to the managers and if you are able to win again you will pay parts of it.
It's like a contract so he would fund your hobby, but this could become troublesome in the long run. The good side about having a manager is you are controlled on how much you will spend unlike when you do it by yourself were there will be times you will try to chase the losses.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 11, 2023, 01:38:55 PM
We have the same timeframe at the value on where we bought it. I am somewhere near 25 or 26. I don't regret it now. Same as you also, I want to add more but I am having trouble to get some funds and I don't like selling at a losing rate. That's just a stupid decision and I don't want to remember it the whole year if I am mistaken.
But, if I do have the funds and this economy gets better, I won't doubt about accumulating more. This could be the last chance we will see Bitcoin at its cheapest. I always like to think it that way because there's a big chance it is.

I am cheering for the Joker to get his 3 straight MVP award
Other candidates are equally deserving to win but I also have no problem if Jokic gets it again. It probably helps that he appears to be a likable person and focuses on team wins rather than individual stats.

Jokic might win but I like Luka to have his chance this season. Unfortunately, his team is not as good as Jokic.
Luka's shoulder has too much weight in it. Christian Wood became inconsistent. Dinwiddie is the same. Tim Hardaway on his normal 3-5 three points per game. Something must be changed, like when Brunson was around stepping up his game, and Luka was benched because of injury.

I vote for Jokic too. It's says valuable and I know Luka is one heck of a valuable player but when it comes to team value, Jokic has the upper hand and it's definitely making their team better as it can be seen on paper as top of the Western Conference. And NBA and fans always rely on stats, that's proven for years. If Doncic wins, I am still at peace. Cheesy I love watching those two players.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans are once again quitting their jobs at a growing rate on: January 10, 2023, 10:48:20 AM
Wages that cannot cover all the necessities of a human being especially those who have a family. But I don't like quitting the job while there's no back up yet. I'd wait to see if I have a high chance to be employed again in another company before I pass my resignation.
Being idle will get you nowhere and that means hunger. On top of that, what will I tell my wife? Grin About the street people though, I saw one streamer exploring Los Angeles and he was shocked at how many homeless people are there. Maybe that kind of strategy does work but only for singles.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some Gambling Slang and Terms that Beginners Should be Aware of on: January 09, 2023, 11:46:49 PM
Beard   |   A person who places bets on behalf of professional gamblers so they can remain anonymous to bookies.
This is the first time I heard of this maybe because I always deal myself than trusting someone to process my bets. Whoever this "Beard" is should be trustworthy enough to leave your funds into him and directly bet it without any ruckus. Reputation is also something they must have, like he has been suggested by many professional gamblers beforehand. I doubt they can be found in advertisements.
Other listed slangs are widely used and some of them should be known by a gambler who is just starting his way to the industry.

Anthony Lamb is playing the game of his life, but Orlando has led the way and is close to winning. Banchero plays well again, with Fultz, Wagner and Carter accompanying him. Golden State is struggling due to their missing players. If it had been Klay, maybe they would have shown a little more threat, but they have little chance in the game where Draymond also played badly. They made too many turnovers. Orlando led 15 points before reaching the final quarter. Looks like Banchero will be the rookie of the year. He has already proven it with his statistics.
Career high for Lamb scoring 22 points at the first half and then 4 more in the second. Wiggins and Iguodala's return didn't end with a bang. They are both in restricted minutes, so I guess it's just okay. Warriors last home game will be against the Phoenix Suns, after that they will be in 5 road games, and I wish Steph will be back because they don't have a good record without him when they are the away team.
Kings versus Lakers is the most entertaining of all, Lebron putting numbers with 37 points but the highlighted player is Thomas Bryant making 29 points and 14 rebounds. He should continue that type of a hustle game.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you found others' keys? on: January 07, 2023, 08:00:57 AM
I'd give it back without a doubt, but I will make sure the real owner will be the one who will receive it. Don't want to fall to the hands of those who are dumb enough to think they won't be traced if they try to pass it to a new address and then another.
Even if you pass it to an exchange, it can still be traced. What's worst is that if whoever tries to steal it did a KYC.
That's the good thing about cryptocurrencies unlike when you drop your wallet in the street.

With Nuggets if the joker can not play that will be a problem for the Nuggets, but for now, they are still playing with him, and has good health right now,
He will be crucial if he misses the playoffs. That means Gordon, Murray, and Porter Jr. will need to step up their game in a level they never had done.
Jokic is the heart of their team, it's hard to imagine a Nuggets team without him.

This is the negative side of a team that depends mostly on a single player. Teams like Milwaukee and Denver will be easily at the bottom of the rankings if Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic are out. I don't think the rest of the roster can really compete well. Unlike the other teams like Boston and Memphis, they are surrounded by too many talents that they can perform well even with the absence of one star.

Denver is on top of the west and is even competing to lead the overall ranking is surprising to me. We are still half of the season anyways and there are a lot of swings that happens since the start of the season. But somehow after winning back-to-back MVPs, I like to see Jokic getting a ring.
It looks like we are heard, and they proved us wrong. Cheesy Their second team against the Los Angeles Clippers is what happened last night. Nikola Jokic only played 24 minutes and didn't have to stand up in their bench as it was well covered by Bones Hyland, Vlatko Cančar, and Zeke Nnaji.
Okay, I will stop underestimating their bench from now on, but I want to see consistency. Proved every analyst wrong and savor the minutes that will be given to them by not just keeping the lead but by adding more.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: January 05, 2023, 03:05:17 PM
You just have to show them proofs and not slamming the door when they say "No" or reasoning out about how it will end up. There are pessimistic people too, do remember that. They are not poor and yet they are not willing to join such things because rumors and gossips came earlier before the marketing team. Back to the poor, they are just trying to be sure and investing in a secure way. They don't have much so might as well get the best out of it and not let it go to waste to HYIP with high risk of getting rekt.
I understand them as I am not far from a poor guy too. Been there, just worked harder.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 05, 2023, 02:55:23 PM
A lone sports gambler but I do check Sports Chat Place about what their prediction will be because sometimes I follow them too if their choice is respectively fair to win. But it doesn't mean I do not check the analysis of the game. Always try to enhance your chance to win a bet by researching injury reports, home game winning percentage, and road games. The Golden State Warriors as an example had been winning their home games and yet they lose yesterday against the Detroit Pistons in the Bay Area even if they are the favorites.
399  Economy / Speculation / Re: January bitcoin price out look on: January 05, 2023, 01:52:39 PM
Own personal analysis base on how the economy is? It might get worst. It's not like we are feeling rich again just like how it is 3 years ago before the pandemic came. No buyers mean no demand, no demands mean no price hike. I'd rather stick with that kind of expectation than be mad about rushing the value to go up.
It will happen but I just don't feel it yet. There's no big player trying to buy loads of Bitcoin now. Maybe they are waiting for another big dump.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 04, 2023, 01:32:19 PM
But what if Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram are both injured Williamson has a hamstring and may come back on January 29, and Brandon Ingram injured his Toe and may return on January 11 this is a big loss of players for the New Orleans Pelicans right now without these two players I think they will surely struggle a lot,
It will be a struggle, that will be certain. But they still have one of the elite players in the league with CJ McCollum who had been playing great offense and Jonas Valančiūnas. And they don't have a bad bench team with Alvarado, Trey Murphy, and Jaxson Hayes.

With Nuggets if the joker can not play that will be a problem for the Nuggets, but for now, they are still playing with him, and has good health right now,
He will be crucial if he misses the playoffs. That means Gordon, Murray, and Porter Jr. will need to step up their game in a level they never had done.
