3842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we reach at 12$? on: July 05, 2011, 05:53:49 AM
A little inference from past trends, charts, volume indicators and my gut tells me:

An early Tuesday rally, starting in the $11 - $12 range.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't put money on this either way atm but then I wouldn't write it off as a possibility either.

There were too many junk threads speculating about the value (in the wrong section, too). I also removed one about higher values.

If your thread talks about the BTC value and is less than a few paragraphs long, I may delete it. I find these to be worthless.

Thanks for the explanation however we did have a very interesting discussion going and it would have been better if it had been moved to a more appropriate forum rather
thanbe deleted.

If this 13.50 price level doesnt hold, its going to 8.10 before it sees any support.

Yup, no end in sight yet
3846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's your stop loss on: July 05, 2011, 03:23:03 AM
I sold my 12 month hoard of mined bitcoins at around $15.5.  I am also selling new mined coins at market.  This bubble has to completely deflate before I start hoarding again.

I got out of the kitchen at low $15's...  Grin

Why? We had a good discussion going there?

What say you all - is this an atempt at market manipulation at the expense of open speech?

3853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price drop below $10 will set back bitcoin one year or more on: July 04, 2011, 08:53:38 PM
It is my professional opinion that bitcoin prices are being systematically walked down by a miner or an early adapter. I am not so concerned by the reckless sells of large chunks of coins as I am about that being followed by the placement of large amount of coins to hold the price down and discourage new money. I am having a difficult time imagining what they hope to gain by this effort. This person is clearly not thinking economically. If bitcoin prices approach $10, there will be a panic sale taking the prices to $2-$3.

Maybe thats what they want? Buy for a pittance and reap huge profits later?

Sometimes trading's not rocket science.

Thank you for the replies!

Since I couldn't find any store in my country that has at least one HD 6990, I focused on the other options. And I switched to the HD 6950 option instead of 6970, since it is cheaper and with a good mining performance on paper.

You will be happy with the 6950's - their a solid card. Just check the PSU requirements.
3858  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: For a bit of fun, and a potential bonus! on: July 04, 2011, 05:22:48 PM
Its all about inviting friends to mine with you.  You gotta start somewhere, so you should jump in with the person who shared it with you.  Then, start inviting others to mine with you and get started building your minipool.  I've been working at this for less than a week and already I'm basically at a -30% fee.  That's right, I'm currently earning 30% more than I would solo mining, with far greater consistency of earnings.

Get started now by joining Mike's minipool while Triple Mining is still new and take advantage of this awesome and unique pool.  Just click Mike's link in the original post above to get started!

Yea the payouts are definitely noticeably higher than other pools

3860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF THE PRICE GOES BACK UP TO $30 EVERYONE NEEDS TO SELL on: July 04, 2011, 05:16:14 PM
Not to be the bearer of bad news, but if your fiat currency has not become worthless in the coming days already so you need to buy bitcoins now.
