I was watching (and I am still watching) live as 27k wall at $5.45 gets eaten. Right now, as of 00:15 UTC there's 7k left, at this rate we'll hit $5 in next hours.

Short term outlook: DOWN.
Aaaand, we bottomed out again at 5.45. Triple bottom on daily. Depth quickly replenished.

Bear fail, again.

You know what tends to happen if u keep hitting the bottom of a boat hard enough don't u?  Grin

That soilid 20k is now a wafer thin 5k

Absolutely...

How do you know this is not the height of a bubble? It may be healthier, but that doesn’t mean much.

no, the move to and crash from $7.20 was a bubble. if you look at the Accumulation/Distribution Line and other similar indicators you will see that there hasn't been much trending since the sellof to $4.xx, mostly flatline. we're still consolidating, long-term. whereto thereafter, i think UP.

His predictions are shit, but no poop has been posted. This allows him to make shit up as he goes along.

dude i don't want to clutter the forum with bulky graphs the data is available to everyone at bitcoincharts.com look at the ACCUMULATION/DISTRIBUTION LINE from december till now. just because you can't be bothered to do anything but litter your posts with words referring to excrement doesn't mean i haven't made a real prediction.

If your relying on 1 (positive) indicator you may be in for a surprise. I can take any number of other indicators for the same period (eg money flow index, william%r, slow stoch, chaikin money flow) that suggest the contrary to this indicator.

i don't rely on just one indicator... the analysis i post on this forum is obviously not an exhaustive one. it would be too much work and also i don't like to give you guys TOO much information... Tongue

LOL...yea whatever....

2934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin about to TAKE OFF!!! on: February 06, 2012, 10:55:50 AM
Careful analysis and 89 years of experience leads me to believe that Bitcoin is about to go through the roof.

Though most will not understand the dynamics of what this chart shows, those that do will be blown away.

You heard it here first.

Well, since you brought the 2 month chart to our attention, I would like to point out a little history:

- In the month of December, very incrementally, the price gradually rose up from $2.80 to $4.00
- In the 1st week of January, on heavy volume, the price rallied from low $4s to $7.00
- The following 10 days, we repeatedly rallied from low/mid $6s to just under $7.20, on high volume
- We crashed on Jan 18
- After slight bounce up from Smack-Down, we've dwindled to low $6s on very little volume

Whether because of manipulation, Bitcoinica, or just sheer rally-driven exuberance, seems evident that
were now reeling from from a bubble.  Some feel that we have more price correcting to do; I have to agree.

To think that now we are going to rally up to $12 in February, after what we've just gone through, I just
don't see it.

+1... I'm wetting myself at those who thought he was serious

meh..post a chart here...any chart...and someone will buy it IMO  Grin

2938  Economy / Speculation / Re: inau's secret rocket on: February 06, 2012, 01:05:20 AM
i feel that the move to $7 was a correction from the falling knife to $2, and that we're gearing up for another rally. why? because that's what bitcoin does

You clearly werent around when Bitcoin dropped from $30+ to $15 lol
2939  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we still in this rally? on: February 05, 2012, 07:44:32 PM
Err..yea...I think its safe to say the rally is over folks...  Grin
2940  Economy / Speculation / Re: 94% correction? on: February 05, 2012, 07:40:56 PM
I have had an interesting thought lately. What if November to January was a brief correction from the 6 months long bear market which is over now?

If we assume the top is 7.22 and there is again a months long 94% "consolidation", the low would turn out to be 0.45 USD.

Food for thought.

Quite possible.
